Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the picture of the use of gadgets andsocial development of students of gadget users. This research method uses descriptivequantitative research type with instrument type in the form of questionnaire and dataprocessing technique using percentage. The results of this study obtained an overviewof the intensity of use of gadgets among students is very active. This can be seen fromthe long duration of gadget usage, whereas the kind of gadgets students use tend touse only one type of gadget. The use of too long gadgets also has an impact thatstudents can experience, whether physical or other impacts. While the impact ofgadgets on the social development of students did not give a significant effect. Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the use of UNO Stacko game in learning Japanese vocabulary in High School Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. The purpose of the study was to determine the difference between student’s learning outcomes between classes using the UNO Stacko with a class that did not use the UNO Stacko. The object of research is the students of class XI high school Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru of the academic year of 2017/2018 consisting of two classes, namely class XI IPA 3 and class XI IPA 5. This research uses pretest-posttest design, conducted on two classes of experimental class and control classes. the results of study found that the game UNO Stacko can improve student outcomes in learning japanese vocabulary rather than conventional methods. It’s seen from the evaluation value and the difference of pretest and posttest result of the experimental class has increased, that is 80 for the average value in the experimental class and 62,5 in the control classKeywords: Japanese vocabulary , uno stacko

Abstract

Abstract: This research has a purpose to know about the relation between coping strategy in violent behaviour by single parent in Pekanbaru Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City. Kind of this reasearch is correlation. Sampling tool used random sample and the result set of this research is 60 single parent. The collecting data in this research are primer data and used questionnaire or closed statement questionnaire. The result of this research found violent behaviour by single parent (mother) in Subdistrict Pekanbaru, Pekanbaru city in medium category, that 23.46 %. Based on corellation coefficient value above, P value = 342 showed that single parent (mother) was high. The result of determinant coefficient is 11.69 % to violent behaviour by single parent (mother). From the result, it can be happened because mother’s emotional stress was uncontrolled caused bay any problem they faceKeyword: Violent, Behavior , Coping Strategy

Abstract

Abstract : This research is titled Illocutionary Speech Act On A Collection Of Short Stories Karyamin’s Smile By Ahmad Tohari. The purpose of this research is to describe (1) illocutionary language acts on a collection of short stories Karyamin’s Smile by Ahmad Tohari; (2) function illocutionary speech act on a collection of short stories karyamin’s smile by Ahmad Tohari. This type of research is descriptive research, ie solving existing problems based on existing data. Sources of data in this study are the pronunciation interpersonal words on a collection of short stories Karyamin’s Smile by Ahmad Tohari. Data analyzed using Miles and Huberman model by reducing data, present the data, and draw a conclusion from the research. Based on the research, it is found that 65 illocutionary language act consisting of the form of illocutionary language acts assertive, directive, commissive, expressive and declarative. The details of this information (1) the form of illocutionary assertive language acts are 27 expression; (2) the form of a directive illocutionary language sentences number 29; (3) form commissive illocutionary language expression was 6; (4) form illocutionary speech deeds expressive speech was 2; and (5) a declarative illocutionary language act was 1 speech. In this research also found the function of the act of speech illocution consisting of competitive, convivial, and collaborative functions. Competitive function found 29 speeches, convivial 8 speech, and collaborative 28 speech.Key Words: form of illocution, function of illocution, Karyamin’s Smile

Abstract

Abstract : This research was designed to describe the student’s ability in comprehending procedure text and aimed to find out the students ability in comprehending procedure text. This research was conducted in SMKN 1 Bangkinang that has been collected in February 2018. The subject of this research was XI TKJ 1 (34 students chosen by cluster random sampling. The result showed that the ability ofthe eleventh grade students of SMKN 1 Bangkinang in comprehending procedure text was in good level whosepecentage was 41.1%. Therefore, this research recomended the students to improve their grammar and choose the reading content wisely..Key Words : Student’s Ability, Procedure Text

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to know the factors to motivate student to married while the students continue their study. The subject of this research is ten students have been married and still active in college. The research design was descriptive research design that use qualitative approach. The sample of this research were used snowball sampling. Research data is obtained through unfold interview and dokumentasion. The results of analysis shows that students motivation in marriage while continoued study were consist if 2 (two) categories from the theory of hygiene-motivator by Frederick Hezberg, such as intrinsic motivations and extrinsic. The intrinsic motivations such as : a) Avoid adultery, b) Match and need each other, c) The dream of people (based on Al-Qur’an surah Ar-Rum 21, d) Have age enough to mary, e) Biological needs, f) To get generation of family. For the more, extrinsic motivation are: a) Support from family, b) Reduce the burden on parents, c) Knowledge gained from taqlim assemblies.Keywords: College student, Marriage, Motivation

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the existence of transgender at SM. Amin street, Kelurahan Simpang Baru, Kecamatan Tampan, Pekanbaru City. Formulation of the problem in this research are (1) How are student attitudes to transgender phenomenon at Sm.Amin street (2) What is causes student Univeristas Riau choose that attitude (3) How are the action taken by student related attitude who is shown to transgender phenomenon at Sm.Amiin street. This research has purpose to find out the student attitude of Univeristas Riau. This metode of research is descritive and qualitative. Some informan in this research are active students of Universitas Riau that were determind by purposive sampling technique and combined by snowballing sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation with triangulation technique. Base on research result, it can be concludid that the students of Universitas Riau have negative and positive attitude. The negative attitude with religious, law, health and social reasons. The positive attitude with human rights reason but in essence its human right also have limits that is should not be contradictory with moral, religious values, security, and public order. Abstract

Abstract : This research executed because lowering of understanding of letter concept of capital class student of IV SD Negeri 167 Pekanbaru. From initial test perform only 5 student from 30 student who achieved KKM with the average value 51,83. Purpose of this research is to increase the understanding the concept of capital letter fourth grade SD Negeri 167 Pekanbaru by using a media card letter. Based on the result of this research at the first meeting of the first cycle knowing that teacher’s activity obtained of 55% categorized enough, at the second meeting of the first cycle with the percentage of 60% enough categorized. At the first meeting at the first cycle with the percentage 80% goodness categorized, at the second meeting of the second cycle with the percentage 90% very good categorized. At the student activity obtained of 50% categorized enough, at the second meeting of the first cycle with the percentage of 65% goodness categorized. At the first meeting at the first cycle with the percentage 80% goodness categorized, at the second meeting of the second cycle with the percentage 95% very good categorized. At baseline understanding of student writing capital letters, 4 students understand, 3 students quite understand, and 23 other people do not understand the concept of capital letters. On the basis of scores of students who completed 5 people, while 25 people were not completed, the classical completeness of 16,6% (not finished). At the end cycle repeat the first, student who completed 18, while not complete 12 people with classical completeness 60% (not finished). At the end of the second cycle increased consistency, student who complete 28 people, with classical completeness 90% (finished).Keywords : Card Letter Media, Understand the Consept of Capital Letters

Abstract

Abstract : Classroom Action Research has been conducted consisting of two cycles. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of science students of class VII junior high school 17 Pekanbaru with the integration of character and science literacy in natural science. Research starts from the planning stage, the implementation of the action, the observation stage and the last was done reflection to analyze the deficiencies that occur in the learning activities in order to improve the learning activities in the next cycle. This research was conducted from March to May 2018. The subjects of this study were the students of class VII1 semester of which amounted to forty students, consisting of eighteen male students and twenty-two female students. Parameters in the study were student learning outcomes consisting of affective aspects, psychomotor and cognitive aspects that consist of students' absorption and mastery of student learning. The results showed the students' learning outcomes increased. On the affective aspect increased from 3.01 (B) in cycle I to 3.08 (B) in cycle II. Psychomotor aspects increased from 78.70 (C) in cycle I to 84.58 with (C) in cycle II. The average score of cognitive aspects of students is 79.87 (C) in cycle I and increased to 81.02 (C) in cycle II. Student learning mastery in cycle I is 72.5% and increased to 85% in cycle II. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that by integrating the character and science literacy in science learning can improve student learning outcomes of class VII1 SMP Negeri 17 Pekanbaru.Key Words : Character, Science Literacy, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the physics learning of student’s outcomes through the implementation of learning cycle 5e with concept map in class XI SMAIT Al-Fityah Pekanbaru. The research method used is Pre-Experimental by using The One-Shot Case Study design. The time of this research was conducted at in November until December 2018. Subject of this research was class XI (Al-Fath) student consisting of 20 students. The data in this study is the results of student's learning outcomes test in the form of multiple choice to 15 questions. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis that is by determining the absorption and effectiveness of learning. Based on data analysis, the result shows that the average absorption of students is 81% which is in good category and effectiveness of learning analysis which is in effective category to fluida dinamik concept. The coclusion implementation of learning cycle 5e with concept map is effective in class XI SMAIT Al-Fityah Pekanbaru.Key Words: Physics Learning Outcomes, Implementation Of Learning Cycle 5e With ‘ Concept Map
