Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the influence of interest in learning on the achievement of learning on the subjects of Economics students class XI IPS MAN 1 Pekanbaru. The number of samples in this study were 57 people from 129 population, sampling technique using simple random sampling method. Data collection techniques used in this study is the method of questionnaires and methods of documentation. The method used in this research is Simple Linear Regression Method. The results of measurement for student interest in learning included in the high category of 49.12% with an average of 43.42. Respondents mostly answered statements with frequent choices. The level of learning achievement on the subjects of Economics received a value that is included in the category good enough that as many as 17 people or 29.82%. In addition, as many as 1 student or with a percentage of 1.75% get very good value. Result of simple linear regression equation Y = 53,085 + 0,568X. The learning achievement of Economics subjects increases with the increasing interest in learning. Interest in learning on the achievement of learning on the subjects of Economics class XI IPS MAN 1 Pekanbaru is known from F arithmetic 16.716 larger than F table 4.016 so that the interest of learning has a significant influence on the preservation of learning on the subjects of Economics students class XI IPS MAN 1 Pekanbaru . Judging from the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.233. This means that 23.3% variation in learning achievement changes that occur can be explained by the variation in changes in interest in learning. While the remaining 76.7% is explained by other factors not included in this study.Key Words: Interest Learning, Learning Achievement.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to know: 1) description of the learning styles of students. 2) effect of student learning styles on student achievement. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS in Economics subjects at SMAN 1 Bangkinang Kota, amount to 128 students, and the sample in this study was 97 students. Data collecting techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis method used is chi square test analysis. The results of this study showed that dominant learning styles in class XI IPS are visual learning styles as much 39 people (40.2%), and the tendency of student learning styles included in the medium category 40 people (41.23). The results of the chi square test analysis show that chi square counts 18.215 <21.03 chi square table and Asymp sig. (2- tailed) value. 0.109> 0.05. This means that the Ho hypothesis is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is no significant influence between learning styles and learning achievement of students of class XI IPS in SMAN 1 Bangkinang Kota.Key Words: Learning style, Learning achievement

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the influence of learning interest and learning facilities on student achievement of class XI IIS on economic subjects in SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. The population in this research is the students of class XI IIS in SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru that is as many as 157 students and the sample of 113 students. The data collection of this research is documentation and questionnaire. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the interest of learning and learning facilities have a significant effect on learning achievement. Judging from the calculation of R2 (R Square Change) obtained value of 0.643. This means that the contribution of the influence of learning interest and learning facilities on learning achievement is 64.3%, while the remaining 35,7% influenced by other factors outside research such as peer environment, family environment and so forth.Keywords: learning interest, learning facilities, and learning achievement

Abstract

Abstract : The formula of the problem in this research is to find out how the house wifeperception toward reguler social activity RW 013 at Kelurahan Tangkerang Timur Kecamatan Tanayan Raya Pekanbaru City. The purpose of this research is to know how their perception toward reguler social activity. This research is descriptive quantitative. The population of the research is the reguler social house wife at RW 013. The totals opopulation is 50 people. The sample is 30 respondents by using random sampling. The research instrument is questionnaire whies consists of 40 questions. The criteria of the answer are : 4 categories, very agree, agree, less agree, and disagree. The result of research is the house wife perception toward regular social activity RW 013 at Kelurahan Tangkerang Timur Kecamatan Tanayan Raya Pekanbaru is very good. It can seen data as follow : 1) regulary social sector 88,2% respondents are very agree and agree, 2) religious sector 89,8 % respondents are very agree and agree, 3) social sector 88,2% respondents are very agree and agree.Key words : Perception, House Wife, Regular sosial activity

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to find out whether the use of CIRC method could improve the writing ability of the second year students of MTs Al Fajar Pekanbaru. This research used classroom action research design and collected the data by using test and observsation sheets. Test used to measure the students’ progress in every cycle during the classroom action research. This test consisted of pre-test and post-test. Observation sheets used to observe the teacher’s and students' activities in the classroom. There were 25 students as participants. The level of achievement in this research was 75, based on the standard minimum criteria of achievement of English subject in MTs Al Fajar Pekanbaru. The research finding showed that the implementation of applying CIRC method as the teaching method could improve students’ writing ability at the first and second cycle. Based on the data analysis, the students’ scores improved from 63,47 in pre-test to 78,61 in post-test. Thus, the implementation of CIRC method could improve students’ writing ability of the second year students of MTs Al Fajar Pekanbaru.Keywords: CIRC Method, Writing Ability, Narrative Text

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to increase students achievement implementation of peer led guided inquiry (PLGI) on subject equilibrium solubility in XI MIA SMAN 3 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this research are XI MIA 4 as the experimental class, XI MIA 5 as the control class which were determined randomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The experimental group was treated with implementation of peer led guided inquiry (PLGI) while the control group without implementation of peer led guided inquiry (PLGI). The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using t-test right side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtaine tcount = 4,99 and ttable = 1,67 with α=0,05, dk = 57, tcount > ttable is 4,99 > 1,67, It’s mean implementation of peer led guided inquiry (PLGI) can improve students achievement on the subject equilibrium solibility in XI MIA SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. The influence implementation learning model peer led guided inquiry (PLGI) to improvement of the student achievement as high as 30,4%.Keywords: Peer Led Guided Inquiry (PLGI), Learning Achievement

Abstract

Abstract: In this study the author intends to examine two variables to determine whether there is a relationship between the independent variable (X) with the dependent variable (Y). The population of this study is the entire kindergarten teacher in District Kuantan Singingi forth as many as 50 kindergarten teachers. As for testing purposes researchers took samples from the Kuantan Tengah District of 20 kindergarten teachers. Based on the observations of the author while in some kindergarten teachers in the district Kuantan Kuantan Singingi Mudik found symptoms or phenomena, among others, relating to the social competence of teachers: the existence of some teachers who communicate and interact with students in a way that is less mannered, their most teachers are less adapted to their assigned (like bored with the state of the school). And of spiritual intelligence discovered phenomena: the existence of some teachers who use that language are not appropriate when angry to students who are not able to answer the teacher's question, a sense of caring and empathy of teachers to the school and its work is still lacking. From the research results can be seen on the Kolmogorov-Smirnov column can be seen that the value of significance for spiritual intelligence (0.200) and social competence (0.200); Because of the significance of all variables is greater than 0.05, it can be concluded that the data on the variables of spiritual intelligence and social competence normal distribution, homogeneity test analysis results, obtained statistical values of 0.834 and a probability value of 0608. Since the value of p> 0.05 (0608> 0.05) then the data is homogeneous, and the coefficient of determination is generated is equal to r2 = 0217, p = 0.001 (p <0.05), it can be seen that the influence of spiritual intelligence 21.7% of the social competence of teachers. Then concluded There is a relationship between the spiritual intelligence with Social Competence kindergarten teacher at Regency Kuantan District Mudik Singingi.Key word: Spiritual Teacher With Social Competence

Abstract

Abstract : The implicature is that the meaning conveyed is different from the utterance uttered. The implicature is usually used by someone to convey something not directly in order to cause a certain effect, or the utterance must be communicated and there is no other way to convey it in certain situations. The purpose of this study is to describe implicatures due to violation of the principle of cooperation contained in instagram video on Uncle Cimbo account. Data were collected from 144 video landing @Uncle Cimbo. The video is transcribed gradually. Technique of collecting data using method refer to technique note. The stages of data collection is the author watched the video in the uncle Cimbo account. The researcher listened to the content of the instagram video conversation by paying attention to every context of the conversation. Based on the research, implicatures due to the offenders The principle of cooperation found in Video instagram @Uncle Cimbo found 22 conventional implicatures, implicatures due to maximal breaches of quantity found as many as 39 data, implicatures due to quality 21 maximal breaches, and implicatures due to maximal relevance breaches 34 data, and implicatures due to maximal way violations of 44 data. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the learning environment and the discipline of learning on student learning outcomes in Economics subjects at Pekanbaru 10 Public High School. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. Population in this study is IIS class X students totaling 131 people and the sample is obtained by using proportional random sampling technique resulted 99 respondents. Data is collected using a question. Data analysis techniques used are Descriptive Analysis and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis using of SPSS version 16.0. The results showed that the learning environment has a significant effect on student learning outcomes which obtained tcount 3,150> t table 1,660 and significant value 0,000 <0,05. Learning discipline has a significant effect on student learning outcomes which obtained tcount 2,297> t table 1,660 and significant value 0,000 <0,05. Simultaneously there is a significant influence between the learning environment and learning discipline of students with learning outcomes which obtained fcount 16.735> ftabel 3.09 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. The multiple linear regression equation obtained in this study is Y = 49,795 + 0,142X1 + 0,183X2. It is concluded that of this study indicate the learning environment and learning discipline affect the learning outcomes of economics subjects in the X IIS class of SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. This means that the higher the learning environment and student learning discipline will improve student learning outcomes. Thus to improve student learning outcomes in need of support from teachers and students themselves in the form of learning environment and learning discipline. Abstract

Abstract: This pre-experimental research aimed to find out whether there was a significant effect of using Listen-Read-Discuss strategy on reading comprehension ability on recount texts by the second year students of SMPN 13 Pekanbaru. The research design is a pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test dessign. The sample was VIII-10 chosen by using cluster sampling technique. The result of the data analysis showed that mean scores of the pre-test was 60.69 and the mean score of the post-test was 70.35. In other words, the mean scores of the post-test is higher than the pre-test. The result also showed that the value of t-obs was higher than t-table (9.869 > 2.023) at significance level of 5%. It can be concluded that the Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and Null Hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Hence, there is a significant effect of Listen-Read-Discuss strategy on reading comprehension ability on recount texts by the second year students of SMPN 13 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Effect, Listen-Read-Discuss, Reading Comprehension, Recount Texts.
