Abstract

Abstract : This research to analyze the influence of teacher teaching skills and learning motivation on learning outcomes on economic lesson learning subjects in class XI IPS in SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. The sample of this study used saturated samples, or a census of 65 students in the XI IPS class of SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. Data collection in this study used questionnaire and documentation instrument. data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that teacher teaching skills and learning motivation have a significant effect on the learning outcomes. Judging from the value (Rsquare) obtained a value of 0,587. These results prove that the meaning of the influence of teacher theaching skills and learning motivation on learning outcomes is 58,7%. While the remaining 41,3% is influenced by other variables outside this research.Keywods : Teacher teaching skills, learning motivation, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the increasing number of cases of social phenomena that we often see today, for example students who often skip classes during classes, students who often fight, promiscuity, drugs and other actions violate the norm. The need for character education needs that undermine the morals of the nation's children is embedded in everyday life. Character education encourages students to apply the values of goodness in real actions or daily behavior that relate to God Almighty, oneself, fellow human beings, the environment, and the nation and state. Quality characters need to be formed and nurtured from an early age. Early age, especially elementary age is a critical period for the formation of one's character. In this study, researchers examined the values of character education contained in the book "Tunjuk Ajar Melayu" by Tenas Effendy. Malay teaching appointments contain various noble values that can be used as guidelines and will live, which are full of noble values of Islamic religion and culture. The purpose of the research in this paper is to describe the values of character education contained in the book Tunjuk Ajar Melayu" by Tenas Effendy according to the character of elementary students. This research is descriptive. The data of this study are data in the book " Tunjuk Ajar Melayu" which is associated with character education values. The research subjects were researchers took 6 teaching points and 2 advice from the book " Tunjuk Ajar Melayu" " as research material. After the researchers examined the values of 18 character education values, only 8 characters studied were religious, honest, hard work, independent, friendly / communication, caring for the social, caring for the environment and responsibility. Total values of relevan religious character education 16 data, honest 4 data, hard work 3 data, independent 4 data, 4 data responsibilities, social care 4 data, care for the 5 data environment and friendly / communication 3 data.Key Words : Education Character, Tunjuk Ajar Melayu

Abstract

Abstract: This research was classroom action research with two cycles. The purpose of this research was to improve the learning process and the students’ mathematics learning result at class VII A4 at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru through the implentation cooperative learning type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) especially on social arithmetic topic. The research instruments were learning devices which were syllabus, lesson plan (RPP), and student woksheet (LKS) and the instruments of collecting data were observation sheets and students’ mathematics test. The subject of this research was the students at class VII A4 at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru which consisting of 24 girls with heterogeneous ability. Based on the analyzed of students and teacher activity after implemented the cooperative learning type TSTS, it can be concluded that there was an improvement of learning process at each cycles. Students’ participation was more active and become more independent through the learning process. The analyzed of students’ mathematics learning result data shows that there was an improvement of students’ mathematic learning result in second cycle. There were 16,67% students that reach KKM in UH I, and its improved in UH II which 54,17% students who reach KKM. Based on the result above, it could be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning type TSTS can improve the learning process and the students’ mathematics learning result at class VII A4 at MTs Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru.Key Word: mathematics learning result, cooperative learning, two stay two stray, classroom action research

Abstract

Abstract: The outbreak of war in the early 20th century in western Sumatera was of form of ressistance to taxation (Belasting)byhe the Ducth. Some regions that carried out the ressisten included one of the in Kamang are which was the first area to fight against the Ducth which eventually also caused a similiar reaction in several other area in West Sumatera. The people of Kamang strongly appose the stipulation of Belasting which is very detrimental to the people so thatthe people have planned resistance by devising tactics in facing the Ducth who set policies without asking for gree ment from the pople. The purpose of the study is 1) to know the cause of the war 2) to find out how your war net are 3) to find out how the end of our war in 1908 4)to find out the consequences of the 1908 war. As for this study using qualitative reseach with a historical approach and collection techniques documentation, observationn, and interview.The result of this study indicate that the resistance and resistance to the application of taxes makes both parties decide to attack at night and the killing of the war leader from the Kamang. Peoples anthusiasme in the fighting the Ducth can be seen from the makes shift war equipment the use when dealing with Netherlands.Key Words: Tax, Resistance, Kamang

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is that there is a lack of shooting ability of U14 SSB player Yapora Pratama Pekanbaru, this can be seen from various trials and official matches and this is one of the factors causing the defeat. This type of research is a kind of weak research experiment to see the effect of the form of training. The purpose of this study is to see the effect of training in kicking nine balls towards the shooting ability of the U14 SSB player Yapora Pratama Pekanbaru. The populations in this study were all active members in Yapora Pratama Pekanbaru's U14 SSB totaling 38 people. The sampling technique is by using probability sampling, where the number of samples to be taken is 14 people. Data collection techniques obtained from the pre-test and post test. The instrument in this study used the Test of shooting the ball to the target or shooting as a tool to measure shooting ability. The analysis was carried out using the t-test. Based on data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of training kicking nine balls on goal against the shooting ability of the U14 SSB player Yapora Pratama Pekanbaru as evidenced by the Tcount of 7.931 and Ttabel 1.761. Means Tcount> T table. At the level of ɑ = 0.05.Key Words: training kick nine balls, shooting ability

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe students' cognitive learning outcomes with the application of learning models in the seventh grade of Pekanbaru State Middle School 40. The study was conducted in Odd Semester Academic Year 2018/2019. The research method used was Pre-Experimental design with the design of Intact Group Comparison. The research subjects consisted of 2 classes, in which class VII3 as the experimental class and class VII1 as the control class. In the learning process, the experimental class uses a 5E Learning Cycle model and a control class with a conventional model. Data collection using a written test in objective form (multiple choice) to see student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques that are used to provide an overview of students 'cognitive learning outcomes including students' absorption of understanding concepts and learning effectiveness in temperature and heat material. The results showed that the average absorbency obtained by students in the experimental class was 6.09 higher than the absorption capacity of the control class. The conclusion of this study was: the application of the 5E cycle learning model (Learning Cycle) was more effective to improve student learning outcomes.Key Words: 5E learning cycle model, student cognitive results, temperature and heat.

Abstract

Abstract: Research has been conducted at Muhammadiyah 1 High School in Pekanbaru in May 2018 which aims to determine the effect of integrating mind mapping into a guided inquiry model on creative thinking skills and understanding of ecological concepts in class X Muhammadiyah 1 high school seniors. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a randomized control group pretest-posttest research design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class X MIA1 as experimental class and class X MIA2 as control class randomly selected after normality and homogeneity tests. The experimental class is the class applied guided inquiry learning model by integrating mind mapping while the control class is not treated. The data analysis technique used is the t test. Based on the data analysis test obtained tcount> t table t count> t table (3.07> 1.67), meaning that the application using a guided inquiry model can improve students' creative thinking abilities and tcount> t table (3.88> 1.67), tcount> ttable (3.88> 1.67), using the Guided Inquiry Model can improve the Understanding of Concepts for Class X Students of Muhammadiyah 1 High School Pekanbaru. The categories of students' creative thinking abilities are low with (N-gain = 0.24) and the conceptual understanding category of students is moderate (N-gain = 0.52).Key Words: Guided Inquiry Model, Mind Mapping, Creative Thinking Ability, Concept Understanding

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims improve the learning process and the student’s mathematical representation skill by applying Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The subject were 36 students of class VII.1 SMPN 12 Pekanbaru. This study was conducted in the fisrt semester of academic year 2018/2019. This research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles and each of cycle has four stages: planning, implementation, observation, dan reflection. Data used in this research are qualitative and quantitative data. The research instruments used are mathematical learning instruments (Syllabus, Lesson Plans, and Student Activity Sheets). Instruments for data collecting (Observation Sheets and Mathematical-Representation Tests). Techniques of data collection are observation and test. Data analysis techniques are descriptive narrative analysis and descriptive statistics analysis. The result showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had improved from implementation on cycle I. The result of this study showed that the implementation of Problem Based Learning improved student’s Mathematical Representation skill. The mean of the student’s learning achievement for the first cycle is 40.53 (low) which is 63.89 (moderate) had improved to 82.87 (high) in cycle II. This study concludes that the implementation of Prolem Based Learning model improved the learning process and improve the student’s mathematical representation skill at class VII.1 SMPN 12 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Problem based learning, mathematical representation skill, learning process

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to assess the health level of savings and loan cooperatives at KPRI Sekolah in Pekanbaru City based on Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs Regulation Number 14/M.KUKM/XII/2009, including capital, productive asset quality, management, efficiency, liquidity, independence and growth , and cooperative identity. The method used in this study is descriptive method, data obtained from documentation data in the form of financial statements for 2 years. The population in this study was KPRI School in Pekanbaru City which has a savings and loan business. The sampling technique using purposive sampling is the determination of samples based on certain considerations or criteria so that 5 (five) research samples are obtained. The results showed that the calculation of seven aspects of KPRI Schools in Pekanbaru City, the health level of cooperatives in 2016 from the number of 5 KPRI Schools, which received quite healthy predicate categories were 5 (five) KPRI Schools with a score of 60<x<80. Whereas in 2017 from the number of 5 (five) KPRI Schools studied, 2 (two) KPRI Schools received a healthy category namely KPRI SMPN 21 with a score of 83 and KPRI Karya SMAN 7 with a score of 83.25, which was healthy score of 80<x< 100, while 3 (three) KPRI Schools received a fairly healthy prediicate category, namely KPRI SMPN 13 with a score of 78.4, MAN 1 a score of 75.25, and MAN 2 & MTsN with a score of 75.4, where the predicate was quite healthy at a score of 60<x<80.Key Words: Health of cooperatives, savings

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop an integrated character education module on valid and practical subject of chemical equilibrium. This development research uses ADDIE model that has 5 stages, Analysis,Design, Development,Implementation and evaluation, but the research only arrived at the Development stage because the purpose of the research was to develop a valid and practical integrated character education module. To produce a valid module, a module validity test was carried out covering four aspects of assessment, namely aspects of content feasibility, linguistic aspects, presentation aspects and graphic aspects. To see the practicality of the module, limited testing was done at SMAN 6 Pekanbaru and SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. The results of the study that have been validated by 3 validators state that the percentage is 93,75%. The results of the test questionnaire were limited to 30 students, 89,58% and the results of the responses from 2 chemistry teachers were 93,5%. Based on the principle of validation and limited testing, the integrated module on character education on the subject of chemical equilibrium was declared valid and practical.Key Words: Modules, Character Education, Chemical Equilibrium
