Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim to find out how the values of Pancasila contained in the Pengantin Sahur tradition in Pulau Palas village, Tembilahan Hulu Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir District. Data collection techniques are using two data, first is primary data through observation and interviews and the second is secondary data through library research and documentation.The results of the study showed that the values of the Pancasila that were appropriate at the time were not appropriate in the tradition of Pengantin Sahur in the village of Pulau Palas, Tembilahan Hulu, Indragiri Hilir district.The results showed that the values of the Pancasila in the bride sahur tradition were contained in the village of Pulau Palas, Tembilahan Hulu, Indragiri Hilir district. As for the values of the Pancasila found in the Pengantin Sahur tradition, namely on the value of divinity, in the tradition of the Pengantin Sahur before the event begins, always a prayer is made to be given fluency. This is the value of divinity and the value of trust in the creator. Human values, by respecting the rights of others in expressing their opinions and listening together. The value of unity, in the tradition of bride and groom, participates and participates in mutual cooperation to succeed the Pengantin Sahur tradition. The value of deliberation, the value of deliberation is always applied in order to reach consensus. Social value, seen from the cooperation of the government and the community in making bride the sahur happy.Key Words: Pancasila Values, Pengantin Sahur

Abstract

Abstract : This study discusses how the ability to write kuatrin the suitability aspect theme, diction and rhyme with the object of class X High School Masmur Sport Pekanbaru. This study aims to (1) Determine the ability to write kuatrin the suitability aspect theme, diction and rhyme with the object. The population in this study were all students of class X High School Masmur Sports Pekanbaru academic year 2013/2014, amounting to 25 people. This is a form of descriptive research is a method that examines the phenomenon under study or a portrait of what it is in accordance with what seemed at the time this study was conducted. Sources of data in this study consisted of poetry kuatrin aspects of the theme, diction and rhyme. Data collection techniques using test technique, which tests writing poetry text. Kuatrin new form of poetry consisting of four lines in each stanza rhyme aa-aa, ab-ab, aa-bb. The stages in the writing of poetry kuatrin are: (1) Students observe the school environment (2) Students write poetry texts based on observations of the school environment. Thus, the text written poems based on his interpretation of the school environment. While the analysis of the data using a method to measure the ability of each student is to provide a score that is adapted to the method of analysis, ie by giving value to the aspect of themes, diction, and rhyme. Based on the results of this study concluded that: (1) the results of these studies demonstrate the ability to write poetry kuatrin class X High School Masmur Sports Pekanbaru being categorized. This is evident from the data obtained. And the lack of interest of students to be interested in writing poetry.Keywords : poetry, kuatrin

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out the significant effect of Reciprocal Teaching Method on reading hortatory exposition text of the second year students of SMA Kristen Kalam Kudus Pekanbaru academic year 2018/2019. The selected sample was XI MIPA 1. The sample was selected by using random sampling technique. This research used pre-experimental research design of one group pre-test post-test and collected the data by using test on hortatory exposition text. The test this research was multiple choice test consisted of five option (a/b/c/d/e) The result of the study was found that the mean score of the pre-test was 74.75 while the post-test was 83.87 Therefore it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of Reciprocal Teaching Method on reading comprehension of the second year student of SMA Kristen Kalam Kudus Pekanbaru. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in students’ achievement before and after being thought by Reciprocal Teaching Method. It can be stated that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Reciprocal Teaching Method gives positive and enjoyable learning environments in the classroom. It also enhanced the students’ participation and interaction during the learning process. Students comprehended the story completely by the prediction that helped students to develop their reading and concentrating ability through Reciprocal Teaching Method.Key Words: Effect, Reciprocal Teaching Method, Reading Comprehension.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the effectiveness of the extract of soybean (Glycine max L. Mer) in lieu of ZA on the quality of Nata de banana skin and analyze potential design Student Worksheet (LKS) in learning biology in high school of research results. This research consists of two stage. The first stage of research that is making nata de banana skin using the experimental method with completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 5 treatments and 3 replications. Parameters that observed is measured were thickness, fiber content and organoleptic test. The results of research obtained then analyzed  ANOVA and a further test DMRT at 5% level. The second stage is the phase design (draft) Student Worksheet (LKS) sourced from the results of the first stage. The research result show that the soy extract significant effect on the thickness, fiber content and organoleptic tests. The best treatment is the use of soy extract 50%. Which results in the thickness of 0,89cm and crude fiber content of 1.88%. The resulting fiber content has met the quality requirements according to SNI 01-4317-1996 is a maximum of 4.5%. As for organoleptic texture, color, aroma, taste and preference level best against the use of soy extract 50%.The results of this research was be used as design student worksheet (LKS) in subject matter the outcomes of the implications of biotechnology on salingtemas the sub material with conventional biotechnology.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to develop a module based on POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) on colloid subject matter for the eleventh grade of Senior High School which is valid according to the aspects of substance, language, presentation and graphic in supporting the learning process. The type of the research that be used is Research and Development with developing process referring to the 4D development methodology including Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. This research was only be done till the development level. Research object is colloid module based on POE. Data accumulation is in the form of validation sheet that was given to three validators and response-used sheet to test the module practically that was given to three chemical teachers and 15 eleventh grade learners in science class of senior high school. The validation score is averaged to 4 aspects of module appropriateness including the appropriate aspects of substance, language, presentation and graphic that is consecutively about 95,45%, 93,33%, 96,67%, and 95,83%. The overall average score in validation of POE-based colloid module is 95,32% with very valid criteria. According to the data analysis can be concluded that the developed POE-based module on colloid subject matter is stated as valid to be used in supporting the learning process.Key Words: Module, POE (Predict-Observe-Explain), Colloid

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted aiming to student learning outcomes through the implementation of cooperative learning model think, talk and write with a talking stick-in-class engineering VII.3 SMP Negeri 3 Tambang on the material Ecosystem and Environmental Pollution. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles in April and May 2016. The subjects were VII.3 grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Tambang 2015/2016 school year totaling 29 people consisting of 11 female students and 18 students man. Parameter study is the result of learning of students consisting of absorption and mastery learning. The results of student learning based on the average absorption of students in the first cycle is 78.10 and the second cycle increased to 86.37. Mastery learning students in the first cycle is 79.31% and the second cycle increased to 89.65%. From the results of this study concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model think, talk and write with a talking stick technique can improve learning outcomes of students in the class VII.3 IPA SMP Negeri 3 Tambang.Keywords: Model cooperative think, talk and write, Mechanical talking stick, student.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of the times affects the occurrence of change and causes various problems arise in the marriage customs of the Batak Toba community. Such amendment adds or reduces the obligations in marriage customs. The implementation of the marriage customs of the Batak Toba community was carried out in a long time and process, now shortened by the customary term ulaon realize (a feast that was completed for a day). In addition, the indigenous Batak Toba people in Sebanga were rarely / not intermarried but the Toba Batak community in Sebanga allowed their children to marry other tribes because the average Batak Toba community in Sebanga wandered and married with local women, and supported by women Toba Batak used to be rare in Sebanga, Duri. By having feelings and love for Toba Batak culture, Batak Toba society in Sebanga Duri founded a community named Perbato (Batak Toba Association). The purpose of this study is to determine the factors behind the formation of Perbato in Sebanga Duri, knowing how the role of Perbato in inheriting the marriage customs of the Batak Toba community in Sebanga Duri, knowing how the Toba Batak people in Sebanga Duri look at the existence of Perbato, knowing how the role of Perbato as a mediator for Completion of Toba Batak marriage customary problem in Sebanga Duri. The method used is Qualitative Approach. The research location was Sebanga, Duri. The time of study from the start of the proposal seminar to the thesis examination. The results of this study indicate that the role of Perbato in inheriting the marriage customs of Batak Toba community is something that can not be separated during the marriage ceremony which is legitimate according to the tradition of Batak Toba community in Sebanga Duri.Keywords: Role, Perbato, Inherit, Marriage, Toba Batak.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is background based on mathematics learning outcomes in class VIIIc students of SMP Telekomunikasi Pekanbaru which is still under Minimum Criteria of mastery learning that has been settled by the school that is 75. This type of research is the classroom action research with 2 cycles. The subject in this research were 16 male students and 12 female students with heterogeneous ability. The aims of this research are to improve the learning process and improve student’s mathematics learning outcomes in class VIIIc of SMP Telekomunikasi Pekanbaru in odd semester of the 2016/2017 academic year based on KD 1.3 Understanding relations and functions and on KD 1.4 Determining the value of the function. This research was conducted on August 29, 2016 until 21 September 2016. The data in research were obtained from the observations of teacher and student activity and student outcomes by analyzing qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the data analysis of teacher and student activity after applying the cooperative learning model of Think Pair Square Structural Approach, teacher and student activities have done well and had an improvement at each meeting. Based on the data analysis of student learning outcomes, there is an improve in student learning outcomes in each cycle. Based on the analysis of KKM achievement, there were 12 students who reached KKM at UH 1 with percentage 42.85% and and 16 students at UH II with percentage of 57.14%. Based on the result of research show that, there is an improve of students who get very high criteria and the decrease of students who get enough and low criteria. From this research it can be concluded that the implementation model of Think Pair Square structural approach can improve the learning process and also to improve student’s of mathematics learning outcomes in class VIIIc of SMP Telekomunikasi Pekanbaru.Key words: Mathematics learning outcome, Cooperative learning, Think Pair Square,Classaction research

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research talked about forms and rhyme of umpasa or maxim on ceremony for the death people who had been saur matua (people whose all their children already got merried) on Tobanese people who lived at Nagasaribu, Lintongnihuta Subdistric, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. This research used kualitative and descriptive metode which was aimed to describe the problem based on reality. This research used death ceremony process for saur matua as the object by using literally datas by doing some interview and classifying the datas which were got from the video of the ceremony. This research finaly got the conclusion that there instruction from umpasa, diksi from umpasa and three forms of umpasa, they were: umpasa with two lines,with the second last umpasa with four lines and the last umpasa with six lines. While there were four roles of umpasa, they were: religious, morality, kinship, conference. And based on the analysis of the data s there were eight rhymes that found on the ceremony, they were: start middle rhyme, finish rhyme, incomplete rhyme, cluster rhyme, uneven rhyme, interlude rhyme, clasp rhyme.Keywords: form umpasa, rhyme

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low of science learning result of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 15 Pangkalan Nyirih with average value 62,88 (KKM 70). Of the 26 students only 10 students (38.46%) reached the KKM, and the remaining 16 students (61.54%) did not reach the KKM. The purpose of this research is to improve the science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 15 Pangkalan Nyirih, with the application of Inquiry learning model. Teacher activity increased, in the first meeting of the I-cycle of teacher activity average 79.16% with the category of "good", the second meeting of the average teacher activity increased to 83.33% with the category "Very good". At the third meeting of the second cycle of the average teacher activity 87.50% with the category "Very good" and at the fourth meeting with an average activity of 91.66% also with the category "very good". While meeting I cycle-I average student activity 66,66% "good" category, at meeting of 2 mean of student activity increased to 70,83% with category "good". At the 3rd meeting of the II cycle the average student activity 75.00% with the category of "good" and at the 4th meeting has increased with the average student activity 79.16% also with the category of "good". Student learning outcomes on preliminary data above KKM only 10 people (38.46%), after the I-cycle increased as many as 20 people (77%) and after the second cycle increased again as many as 21 people (81%), the value the average obtained by students classically in the initial data only 62.88 after the first cycle increased by an average of 74.03 and in the second cycle more up to 81.34. From this research can be concluded that with the application of inquiry learning model can improve science learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 15 Pangkalan Nyirih.Keywords: Inquiry, science learning outcomes
