Abstract

Abstract: Based on the results of interviews conducted by researchers at one of the homeroom teacher of SDN 187 Pekanbaru III obtained information that there are students who received less attention from both parents, as parents are paying less attention when his study time at home. This resulted in the child being lazy to do their homework from teacher when in the school. In addition, children often want to obtain a high learning outcomes, but in a way that is not good, for example cheating. It is very negative impact on children's development. Because of achieving satisfactory progress in addition to learning is also supported by the application of appropriate parenting, as if in applying the wrong upbringing will adversely affect personal attitudes and children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parenting and student’s academic achievement class III SDN students 187 Pekanbaru. This type of research is a quantitative research study population was all students of class III Elementary School Pekanbaru, amounting to 136 187 students. While the sample is saturated samples. Because it does not receive permission from the guardian class IIIb, the authors use two classes only as samples, namely classes IIIa and IIIc classes totaling 92 students, consisting of 53 male students and 39 female students. Data collection methods used were questionnaires transform and measure patterns of parenting and documentation for record of achievement students drawn from rapot value. The results showed that the correlation (r) of -0.048 and tcount smaller than ttable or -0.4629 <1.9866 at the significant level of 5%, so that it can be concluded that there is no relationship between parenting and academic achievement of students.Keywords: Parenting, academic achievement

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the improvement of understanding physics concept of SMP class IX with the application of SAVI (somatic, auditory, visual, intellectual) learning strategy. This study is a pre-experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The subject of this research are the 25 students of class IX SMP Negeri 3 Kampar Kiri. The design of this research is pre-experiment with the data collection instrument used was a concept comprehension test, in the question is in the form of multiple choice and grounded consisting of 15 items about static electricity. Students are given the first concept comprehension test (Pretest) first to see the level of understanding of the initial concept of students, after that is given treatment or treatment by applying SAVI learning strategy, then the students are given the final concept of comprehension test (poststtest) at the end of the learning process. The data were analyzed descriptively by using N-Gain. Increased understanding of student concepts is shown by the N-Gain value of each indicator. Based on the data obtained, the N-Gain value is categorized as high for translation and interpretation indicator, while for extrapolation indicator is in medium category. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the implementation of SAVI learning strategy can improve the physics concept conception of class IX SMP Negeri 3 Kampar Kiri.Key words: Learning Strategy, SAVI, Concept Understanding, Static Electricity

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to improve the student activity andachievement used active learning strategy Jeopardy Review on the subject of colloid inclass XI science 7 MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in twocycle. Each cycle consisted of two meetings. Learning activity data is collected byobservation sheet and learning result data is collected by test. The analysis data wasdescrib with descriptively. The result of action showed that learning activity percentageof student improved and reached the success criteria. The learning activity of studentpercentage in first cycle was 56,35% with enough category and the second cycle was69,90% with good category. Student learning activities are good in line with thelearning outcomes obtained by student. Student achievement was seen from masterylearning that enhances and have achieved success criteria. The percentage of studentachievement in the first cycle was 73,08% and the second cycle was 88,46%. Based onthe results obtained, it can be concluded that using active learning strategy jeopardyreview can improve the activity and student achievement.Keyword: Active learning strategy Jeopardy Review, student learning activity, student achievement, colloid

Abstract: The aims of this research to determine the effect on the performance of labor discipline employees part of production PT Panca Agro Lestari. The population in this this research were 300 employees. The sample size of 75 people by using proportional stratified. Collecting data in this study using the technique of questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the discipline of a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees part of production PT. Abstract

Abstract : This research was conducted because of the result of learning science study class IVc SD Negeri 169 Pekanbaru. KKM achieved by school was 75. From 42 students who achieve KKM just 19 students (45.24%) while students who did’nt achieve KKM is 23 students (54.76%) with a class average of 66.90. The purpose of this research to improve learning outcomes IPA class IVc SD Negeri 169 Pekanbaru with the application of learning models Learning Cycle. The results obtained by the average value of 66.90 basic score increased in the first cycle of 3,39% to 69.17. In the second cycle the average value of students also increased by 14,42% to 76.55. On the basic of classical completeness score IPA student learning outcomes is only 45,24% (not finished). After the professor of applied learning model Learning Cycle (LC) in the first cycle classical completeness increased to 64,28% (not finished), and the second cycle of classical completeness obtained are increased to increase to 83,33%. Activities of teachers at the first meeting of first cycle acquire a percentage of 65% with enough categories. The second meeting increased to 70% in enough categories. In the first meeting of second cycle increased to 75% with good category. At the second meeting increased to 80% with good category. Activities of students in the first meeting of the first cycle acquire a percentage of 65% with enough categories. The second meeting increased to 70% in enough categories. In the first meeting of the second cycle increased to 75% with good category. At the second meeting increased to 80% with good category.Keywords : Learning Cycle, learning outcomes IPA

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the value of lace IPS students, it is seen from the first half of the exam students are still under KKM, of the 22 students who achieve KKM only 6 students while students who do not reach the KKM is 16 students with an average value of 63.5, purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes IPS grade IV with the implementation of cooperative learning index card game. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data were analyzed using analysis of the activities of teachers and students, the analysis of student learning outcomes, an average of learning outcomes and learning outcomes. Improve student learning outcomes can be seen from the average learning outcomes in basic scored 63.5 65.9 increase in the first cycle and the second cycle from a base score of 63.5 rose to 79.54. The results showed that the use of index cards learning model cooperative game proper in social studies learning, to improve learning outcomes IPS.Key words: cooperative model, index card match, learning, IPS

Abstract

Abstract: This descriptive research aimed to find out the ability of the eighth year students of SMP Negeri 4 Pekanbaru in comprehending recount texts. The population of the research was the eighth year students of the school. The number of the population were 332 students. Thirty five of them were the samples selected by using cluster random sampling technique. The instrument to collect the data was a reading test. The total number of test items was thirty questions. The test consisted of 5 short recount texts. Each text consists of 6 questions which cover the components of reading and the components of recount text namely finding main ideas, finding factual information, finding the meaning of difficult words, finding references, finding restatements and finding social functions. The data were analyzed by classifying them into five levels of ability: very poor, poor, mediocre, good, and excellent. Based on the result showed that the students’ reading ability of the eighth year students of the school in comprehending recount texts was in good level with the mean score was 74.28. The implication of this research is that the eighth year students of the school have a good ability in reading recount texts.Key Words: Students’ Ability, Reading, Recount Texts.

Abstract

Abstrak: The objective of this research was to develop the student’s activity paper on the subject of ionic equilibrium and ph of the buffer. The type of this research was reserach and development (R & D) with the 4-D development model which include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This research was to develop phase and be continue with a definite tryout. This research was conducted in FKIP Riau University. The object of this research was the students’ activity paper based on the problem solving. The data analysis technique used for this research was descriptive statistic descriptive. The descriptive analysis done by calculated the percentage of validation value. The average score of valuation to five expediency aspect of student’s activity sheet by validator’s team, such as the content properness, the criteria of problem solving, the language properness, course and the graphical has expediency value continued is 92%, 98%, 90, 90%, and 90%. Thus, the average score totality of student’s activity paper based on the problem solving subject of Ionic Equilibrium and pH of the Buffer is 92% which is in very valid criteria, means that the LKPD Developed is proper to be use. Whereas percentage response of teacher and student is 82,3% and 81% to LKPD with very practical and very interesting.Key Words: Student Activity Sheet, Problem Solving, and Ionic Equilibrium and pH of the Buffer.

Abstract

Abstrak: Based of the observation has done the researcher in the field to players SSB PCSS U-13 Pekanbaru, researchers found flaws in  the speed run at the time of the trial or official competition, when ball overtake long bait preceded often opponent until the ball with easy taken by opponent, conditions so would be demage to the team. Errors that occurred while overtake the ball one factor contributing to her is the players have not mastered the techniques the speed run is good and maximum. So it is not able to demonstrate achievement of the maximum for the team. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of exercise on Beanbag Relay for speed run to players SSB PCSS U-13 Pekanbaru.. In this study, researchers took population SSB PCSS U-13 Pekanbaru numbering 16 people. The sample in this research use sampling totality technique used is the full sample that is where all the population sampled. The instrument used to collect data is pree test and post test sprint run 100 yard. The results obtained from Pree test and post test in analisis with uji-t. Hypothesis testing results showed that thitung11,20 with ttabel 1,753 then Ha accepted, at the level of alpha (a) 0,05. It can be concluded that there is influence from Beanbag Relay to speed run for players SSB PCSS U-13 Pekanbaru. In this study, researchers took population SSB PCSS  U-13 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the learning process has been unsatisfied, because teachers not use appropriate learning model that makes the lack of student interest in paying attention. This research purpose to improve learning to result math grade II through the application learning models realistic mathematics education ( PMR ) in SD Negeri Sungai Guntung Tengah. The implementation done in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The cycle I was conducted on 18 March – 25 March 2015 and cycle II was conducted on 27 March – 8 April 2015. The first meeting teacher activity precentage 72,22%, first meeting to second meeting cycle teacher precentage increased by 2,78% to 75%, and the thirth meeting 5,56% to 88,89% and fourth meeting increased by 5,55% to be 94,44% with the execellent category. The first meeting student activity is 66,67%, first meeting to second meeting student increased 5,55% to 72,22%, thirth meeting increased 13,89% to 86,11%, fourth meeting increased 5,565 to 91,67% with the execellent category. From the analysis of the result showed that the student’s learning result math facts on the basis of average scores 67,69% increased by 69,56% for cycle I with percentage increased by 1,87% and for cycle II average increased by 70,68% with percentage increased by 2,39%. The percentage of the number of students in the classical mastery of the score 52,17% for the test cycle I increased by 13,05% until percentage by 65,22%. And for the test cycle II increased by 21,73% until by 86,95%. The result this research concluded that the application of Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education ( PMRI ) can be increased the learning math grade II result in SD Negeri 003 Sungai Guntung Tengah of the years 2014/2015.Key Words : Model Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education ( PMRI ), Mathematics Result Learning.
