Abstract

Abstract :The problem in this research was the less of shot-put of students training “B” 2014 Riau University, until the time do shot-put got less maximal result. The design of this research was experiment  design, the population of this research were students training “B” 2014 Riau University, the sampel of this research were 6 students, all of the population. The instrument of this research that used to find out shot-put result was shot-put test. After that, the data processed statistically, to try out the normality used liliefors test in significant taraf 0,05α. The hypotheses that proposes found there was effect of dumbble incline press practice forward shot-put result. Based on t-test analysis found that tcountamount 3,66 and t­table amount 2,015. It’s mean that tcount>ttable. Based on statistic data analysis found the average of pree-test was 5,175 and the average of post-test was 5,723, so the data was normal. The conclusion, there was a effect of dumbble incline press practice forward shot-put result of students training “B” 2014 Riau University Keyword: Dumbble incline press, shot-put result

Abstract

Abstract : This research is motivated by the lack of IPS student learning outcomes, with an average grade of 70. Among the students of 16 people only 6 students who completed KKM with classical completeness reached 37.50%. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted aims to improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School fourth grade students 007 Bagan Jawa by implementing cooperative learning model Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS). Data collection instrument in this paper is a sheet activities of teachers and students and learning outcomes. This thesis presents the increase in the number of students who reached the KKM of 6 people (37.50%) at the base score to 13 people (81.25%) in the first cycle and increased to 14 people (87.50%) in the second cycle. This means that have been completed in the classical style. An increase in the average learning outcomes of the basic score is 64.38 into 75.00 in the first cycle and 83.44 in the second cycle. An increase in teacher activity. At the first meeting of the first cycle of the percentage of activity the teachers are 58.33%, 70.83% the second meeting. While the second cycle of the first meeting with a percentage of 87.50%, and the second meeting increased 91.67%. While student activity also increased that the first meeting of the first cycle of the percentage of student activity is 54.17%, 66.67% the second meeting, the first meeting of the second cycle of 79.17% and a meeting with an average of 87.50%. The results of the study in the fourth grade primary school 007 Java Chart District of Bangko prove that the implementation of cooperative learning model TSTS can improve student learning outcomes IPS Class IV Elementary School District of Bangko 007 Bagan Jawa. Key words: Cooperative Type Two Stay Two Stray, learning outcomes IPS

Abstract

Abstract: This research was designed to describe the students’ ability in comprehending recount text. The aim was to find out students ability in comprehending the text. This descriptive research took place in SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru from March to April 2015. The sample was 40 students from VIII2 class that took by using cluster random sampling. In collecting the data, there were 30 questions that included in this test. The duration time for doing the test was 40 minutes. The data was analyzed by calculating the students’ score individually and finding out the mean score. The students’ score classified into four level mastery; they are: poor, poor to average, average to good, and good to excellent. The data was presented by using graphic. Based on the result finding of this research, the students’ ability in comprehending recount text at second grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru was in poor to average level. Meanwhile, the mean score of the whole students’ scores was 52.6.Keywords: Students’ Ability, Comprehending Recount Text

Abstract

Abstract: The research about implementation of learning model Learning Cycle 7E has been done with purpose to improve students critical thinking skills on the subject equilibrium solubility at the class XI science SMAN 12 Pekanbaru. Learning model Learning Cycle 7E is cycle model that involve student actively through the 7 phase in learning process that is elicit, engage, explore, explain, elaborate, evaluate and extend. This research was experimental research with pretest-postest design. The sample of this research were students of class XI IPA 5 as the experimental research and students of class XI IPA 4 as a control class that has been randomly selected after a test of normally and homogenity test. The technic of data analyze used is t-test to prove the truth of the hypothesis and N-Gain for category determination. Tabulation of data result obtained arithmetic-t bigger than table-t that is 8,64 bigger than 1,67; it’s mean there is an increase student’s critical thinking skills with implementation of learning model Learning Cycle 7E on the subject equilibrium solubility at the class XI science SMAN 12 Pekanbaru.N-Gain improves students critical thinking skills on the subject equilibrium solubility at the class XI science SMAN 12 Pekanbaru is 0,60 with medium category.Key Words: Learning Model Learning Cycle 7E, Critical Thinking Skills, Equilibrium Solubility

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to develop the classroom-based assessmenton biology subjects for X grade Senior high school. Classroom-based assessmentinclude paper and pencil test, attitude assessment, performance assessment, productassessment, project assessment, self-assessment and portofolio assessment. Thedevelopment was conducted at Biology Education University of Riau and the limitingtest was conducted at MAN 2 Model Pekanbaru. The research held on January untilApril 2014. Research and Development (R & D) with ADDIE model was implementedin this research. Subjects consisted of four Basic-Competency on the X grade seniorhigh school. Validation sheet was used as the data collection instrument. Thisvalidation sheet was filled by the internal dan external validator. Collected datas wereanalyzed by descriptive statistics. Average results of the validity of class-basedassessment are: 3.6 for the paper and pencil test, 3.7 for attitude assessment, 3.7 forperformance assessment, 3.6 for product assessment, 3.6 for project assessment, 3.8 forself-assessment and 3.7 for portofolio assessment. On the last stage of the research, alimiting test on the X grade senior high school. Based on the research’s results can beconcluded that the development of classroom-based assessment on biology science for Xgrade senior high school student was done with the ADDIE model that consists of somephase, start from analyze, design, develop, and the last is implementation in a limitingtest. Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this study is to find out the correlation between the students’ perception and the learning outcomes of the tenth grade students of MA Muhammadiyah Pekanbaru using the application of cooperative model Think Pair Share (TPS) academic year 2016/2017. The research was carried out from November until December 2016. The sample of this research was all of the tenth grade students of MA Muhammadiyah academic year 2016/2017 which consisted of 28 students. The learning outcomes consisted of the result of cognitive test, attitude observation sheet, and product scoring sheet. A closed-questionnaire consisted of 5 indicators and developed into 30 questions; a test consisted of 20 questions; and attitude observation sheet measured the curiosity, the critical, the discipline, and the responsibility; and the product scoring sheet consisted of 3 indicators such as the plan, the concept, and the product. All of closed-questionnaire items were valid and reliable. The reliability of the test which was analyzed by using Cronbach alpha was 0.77, 0,83, 0,85, 0,88, and 0,85 for each indicator. The validity of the test was analyzed by SPSS program 17.00. The analysis of the data was by converting the result into the criteria of scoring. Specifically for affective and psychomotor outcomes, were calculated by using a formula. The correlation of students’ perception and learning outcomes using the application of cooperative model TPS was analyzed by using product moment correlation. The correlation between the students’ perception and learning outcomes the application of cooperative model Think Pair Share (TPS) was obtained as follows: r value for the cognitive learning outcome was 0,57 which was included as average; r value for affective learning outcome was 0,54 which was included as average; and r value for psychomotor learning outcome was 0,23 which was included as low.Key Words: Correaltion, Cooperative Model TPS, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on a problem that found in grade VB SDN 158 Pekanbaru class the result of low learning student, it is seen on student’s score in reaching KKM (Maximum Criterion) only 11 people (40,74%) from 27 students. While the school established KKM is 70, then many students who have not reached KKM are 16 (59.26%). Based on these problems it is necessary to apply the interactive learning model in order to help improve student learning outcomes. The interactive learning model is a model designed to get children to ask questions and find answers to their own questions. If the learning takes place actively, it is expected that students can dare to express their opinions and ideas and can affect students learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of science students VB grade SDN 158 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, which in cycle I consisted of 2 meetings and cycle II consisted of 3 meetings. The data collected in this research is teacher activity data, student activity and test result of student learning in daily test in every cycle. In the first cycle, the teacher activity increased by 70% (enough) and 75% (enough) then in cycle II 80% (good), 85% (good) and 90% (very good). It also occurs in student activity with the percentage gain in cycle I 65% (enough) and 70% (enough) then in cycle II 80% (good), 85% (good) and 90% (very good). In addition to teacher and student activity, students' science learning outcomes also experienced an increase in the average base score of 59.07 with a percentage of 40.47% completeness increased in the first cycle of 22.38% to 72.29 with a percentage of 66.67% . Then on the second cycle, increased by 46.45% from the base score to 86.51 with the percentage of 88.89% completeness. It can be conclude that the implementation of interactive learning model can improve the study result of sains subject of the class VB of elementary SDN 158 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Interactive Learning Model, Learning Result of the Sains

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this study is the restrict of mathematic learning instruments as supporting learning referring to Curriculum 2013. This study aimed to develop mathematics learning instruments with guided discovery model on circle’s topic for 8th grade SMP/MTs. Learning instruments which will be developed in this study are syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheet. This study method used is ADDIE model by Dick and Carey that consist of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Test instruments that used in this study are validation instrument that is validation sheets to evaluate the advisability of syllabus, lesson plans and student worksheet and then practicality instrument that is questionnaire which will be filled up by students to evaluate practicality of student worksheet. Learning instruments that has been developed is being validated by three validators and being tested in a small test group consist of five on June 9th–10th, 2016 in SMPN 1 Pekanbaru for student worksheet. Based on the data analysis, it can be conclude that mathematics learning instruments is very valid with mean score of syllabus is 4,49, for lesson plans is 4,31, and for student worksheet is 4,22. This student worksheet also valued as very practical with mean percentage of student responses is 4,87 with 97%.Key Word: Mathematics Learning Instrument, Guided Discovery Model, Research andDevelopment, ADDIE Model

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to improve the learning process and to improve mathematics achievement by applying problem based learning. The research is classroom action research that consist of two cycles and at the end of every cycle carried out mathematics achievement test . The subject of this research is students of class XI MIA 1 SMA PGRI Pekanbaru in the first semester academic years 2015/2016, there are 20 students in the class, consist of 9 boys and 11 girls who have heterogeneous academic ability. The research instrument consists of learning tools and data collection instruments consisting of observation sheet and mathematics learning result test. Data collection is done through observation and test of mathematics learning result. Based on the observation sheet of teacher and student activity showing the activity of teachers and students has been done well, seen some of the students began to participate actively and more responsible in learning process. Based on data analysis of mathematics learning outcomes, the percentage of students reaching KKM in knowledge competence increased from 35% in basic score to 55% in cycle I and 90% in cycle II. On attitude competence shows improvement, seen from percentage of student number reaching minimum completeness criteria at 35% at base score to 60% at cycle I and 90% in cycle II. The percentage of students reaching minimum completeness criteria in skill competence increased from 50% in base score to 80% in cycle I and 100% in cycle II. The results of this study concluded that the implementation of learning models based on problems can improve the learning process and improve student learning outcomes of grade XI MIA 1 SMA PGRI Pekanbaru in the even semester of the school year 2015/2016.Keywords: Mathematics learning outcome, Problem Based Learning, Class action research.

Abstract

Abstract: Problem in this is the low student learning outcomes IPS IVD grade publik school students 136 Pekanbaru, with an average of 64,88 and 40,47% in the classical comple teness minimum completeness criteria (KKM) which is set by the scool is 70. This research in the form of classroom action research (CAR), which aims to the improve learning outcomes IPS graders domestic IVD SD 136 Pekanbaru. The application of learning models think talk write (TTW) once applied learning models think talk write (TTW) increased student learning outcomes at UH 1with an average of 74,28 with the increase of the basic score 14,48% with classical completeness is 73,81% (not finis hed). And the average UH II is 82,26. With the increase of the basic score 26,78% with classical completeness 90,47% (complete). While the average percentage of activity the teachers in the first cycle of the first meeting is 69,44% in both categories and increased by 2,78% in the second meeting to 72,22% in both categories, the second cycle of the first meeting of the percentageof the average teacher activity increased by 8,38% to 80,6% in both categories and the second meeting increases by 5,51% to 86,11%. With the category very well, besides the activity of students in the first cycle of the first meeting with the average percentage is 63,8% in both categories increased by 8,42%, the second meeting to 72,22% in both categories, the second cycle of the first meeting of the average percentage of student activity increased by 11,11% to 83,33% in both categories once and the second meeting is increased by 2,78% to 86,11% with the category very well,based on the results of these studies it can be concluded that the application of learning models think talk write (TTW) can improve learning outcomes IPS IVD grade public school students 136 Pekanbaru.Key Words : Think Talk Write (TTW), Learning Outcomes IPS.
