Abstract

Abstract, The background of the problem in this study was that the results of the volleyball smash conducted by students SMA 2 Rambah Hilir were not optimal. This problem can be seen from the observations of researchers during extracurricular activities and also during the competition, this was allegedly due to the explosive muscle power factor of the limbs and the explosive strength of the arm muscles of the students State High School 2 Rambah Hilir. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a relationship between leg muscle explosive power and arm muscle explosive power on the accuracy of volleyball smashes in extracurricular activities of students SMA 2 Rambah Hilir. This type of research is correlational comparing the results of measuring two different variables in order to determine the level of the relationship between these variables. As independent variable (X1) is limb muscle explosive power, (X2) arm muscle explosive power while dependent variable (Y) is accuracy of volleyball smash. The data of this study were obtained from the results of tests using vertical jump, two hand medicine ball put, and the accuracy of volleyball smash tests. The sample in this study were 12 high school students from Rambah Hilir, totaling 12 people (total sampling). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded as follows: From the results obtained by explosive limb muscle power has an insignificant relationship with the accuracy of the volleyball smash of SMA Negeri 2 Rambah Hilir, indicated by the results obtained, namely r count 0.04> r table 0.632. From the results obtained by arm muscle explosive power has a significant relationship with the accuracy of volleyball smash of SMA Negeri 2 Rambah Hilir students, indicated by the results obtained, namely rcount 0.96> r table 0.632. Thus, there is a significant relationship between the explosive strength of limb muscles and the explosive power of the arm muscles towards the accuracy of volleyball smashes in extracurricular activities of students in Rambah Hilir 2 High School, this is indicated by the results obtained by Rhitung 0.96> Rtable 0.632.Key Words: Explosive Power, Leg Muscles, Arm Muscles, Volleyball Smash Accuracy

Abstract

Abstract: This pre-experimental research aimed to find out the significant effect of Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) towards the reading comprehension of the first grade students of SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. This study was one group pre-test and post-test design. The population of this study was grade X students of SMAN 14 Pekanbaru which consisted of 7 classes with the total of 259 students. The sample of this study was X.4 class with 37 students. The instrument of the research was a reading test with multiple choice type. The test consisted of six texts where each text contained eight questions with five options (A,B,C,D and E). The writer conducted a try out before the treatment was held. The level difficulty formula by Heaton was used in this study to obtain the reliability and validity of the test. Furthermore, the t-test formula was used in order to analyze the data. The T-Test displayed that the results determined by the probability of sig. > 0.05, probability=0.000, that showed a strong correlation between Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) and students’ reading comprehension. t-obs result also showed that the students’ mean score of the post-test (67.04) was higher than the pre-test ( 54.59). Besides, the results of the analysis showed that the t-test was higher than the t-table (12.45>2.028) at the level sig. of 0.05 with the degree of freedom (df) n-1=36. It means that the alternative hypothesis was accepted and null hypothesis was rejected. Based on the data calculation, the results showed the significant effects of Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR) towards the reading comprehension of the first grade students.Keywords: Collaborative Strategic Reading (CSR), reading comprehension

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to find out how the management of the Package B Equality Education program works in Pekanbaru's PKBM Tampan Insan Cendekia. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects in this study were 4 people: the technique of collecting data using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using Triangulation. The results of this study show that the planning in the acceptance system of citizens studying at PKBM Insan Cendekia is open, this institution has fulfilled the identity in PKBM which is seen as a notarial deed, the recruitment of teachers is concluded by making good friends. let know that this PKBM is looking for teachers, determining the place of learning seen from the building where the learning is still renting a store, the source of money from the education office of the city of Pekanbaru, the manager of socialization programs in PKBM by distribute and via social media. The implementation in PKBM comes from the learning population that registered 31 people, but only involves 15 people in the learning process who come more when they want to take the exam, while teachers at this institution have obtained educational qualifications that undergraduate education and teaching according to the subjects are not all teachers are based on teacher training, learning is done face-to-face once a week and teachers follow adult education. Evaluation The subjects given by teachers are tested in UNPK according to graduation standards. Teachers know the results of learning by performing daily tests, if the value of the learning community does not reach the maximum, the tutor tries to motivate the students to learn materials that they do not understand.Key Words: Management, Equality Package Education Program B

Abstract: This study aims 1) To determine the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Balita Bunda Desa Pulau Permai District Tambang regency Kampar before the application of finger painting activities. 2) To determine the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Balita Bunda Desa Pulau Permai District Tambang Kampar regency after the application of finger painting activities. 3) To determine how much influence the application of finger painting activities against the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years PAUD Balita Bunda Desa Pulau Permai District Tambang regency Kampar. This type of research is an experimental research. The research sample is the child class A consisting of 14 people, 7 boys and 7 girls. Collecting data using observation and documentation. Based on the survey results revealed that 1) fine motor ability of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Balita Bunda Desa Pulau Permai District Tambang regency Kampar before treatment is given in the form of finger painting activity is low. 2) The ability to fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Balita Bunda Desa Pulau Permai District Tambang regency Kampar after the treatment is given in the form of finger painting activity has increased and is high. 3) The finger painting has a significant influence on the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in PAUD Balita Bunda Desa Pulau Permai District Tambang Regency Kampar. It can be seen that there is a difference in the form of an increase in the fine motor skills of children before and after treatment. 4) Activity finger painting has the effect of 36.61% against an increase in the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Toddler Mother Desa Permai Island Mining District of Kampar

Abstract

Abstrack: This study is generally motivated by the mathematical learning result of the third grade students SDN 002 Bantayan that is still low, with an average grade 65.8. While the value of the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) is 70. Among 25 students, there are only 11 students reach KKM. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) that aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes of third grade students SDN 002 Bantayan with the application of the Brunner theory. Data collection instruments in this research are teacher’ and students’ activity sheets as well as learning outcomes. This research is obtained from an average score 65,8 before treatment increased to 81.2 in cycle I, and on the second cycle increased to 85.6. The activities of teachers in the first cycle of the first meeting obtains 78.8% with the enough category, at the second meeting increased to 82.6% with the good category. At the first meeting of the second cycle increased to 88.4% with the category is still good, while the latter is more increased to 92.3% with very good category. Activity of students in the first cycle the first meeting is enough category 79,1%, and in the second meeting increased 81.2%, with good category. At this cycle students begin to understand the learning using Brunner theory marked by students’ activites in the first meeting of second cycle increased to 87.5 &% good category, and the second meeting of the second cycle becoming 93.7% with very good category. Results of this study prove that the application of the Brunner theory can improve students' mathematical learning outcomes of grade III SDN 002 Bantayan.Keywords: Brunner Theory, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the low motivasion of students in classVIII learning at SMPN 8 Pekanbaru. The formulation of the problem in this researchis” whether there is an effect of the application of the Poster Comment learning model on the motivation to learn PKn grade VIII student of SMPN 8 Pekanbar”. This study aims “ to determine the effect of the implementation of the Poster Comment learning model on the learning motivation of PKn students in class VIII of SMPN 8 Pekanbaru”. This research was conducted at SMPN 8 Pekanbaru on July 29 to Agust 23, 2019. This research is a quantitative research that is experimental. The population in this study were eighth grade students of SMPN 8 Pekanbaru. The sample in this study was taken based on a “ random sampling” technique. The sample class is students of class VIII 7 ( experimental class) which is given a Poster Comment learning model, and class VIII 8(control class) is student who are given conventional methods. Data analysis using homogeneity test and “t” test. Based on the results of the study showed that there is an influence of learning motivation between students using Poster Comment learning models and conventional methods at SMPN 8 Pekanbaru ( tcount= 9,25> ttable= 1,66). Where there is an increase in the average score of motivation in the learning of PKn in the experimental class from 21,34 to 22,16 and the average motivation to learn civics from the control class from 19,95 to 20,46. Thus the hypothesis which reads that there is an effect of the use of the Poster Comment learning model on the learning motivation of civics students at SMPN 8 Pekanbaru, can be accepted.Key Words: Poster Comment, Learning Motivation

Abstract

ABSTRACT, Background problem in this research is the low throwing results of the students of SMAN 2 Ujung Tanjung. Of KKM targeted not all students are able to achieve. This problem can be seen from the observation of researcher during school learning, it is suspected because of the arm-shoulder muscle strength and back flexibility owned by students. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the corelation between strength arm-shoulder muscles and back flexibility with disc throw results students class XI SMAN 2 Ujung Tanjung. This type of research is correlational comparing the measurement results of two different variables in order to determine the degree of correlation between these variables. As independent variables (X1) is a trength arm-shoulder muscles, (X2) back flexibility, while the dependent variable (Y) is the disc throw results. The research data was obtained from the measurement results using flexiometer, expanding dynamometer test and discus throwing. The sample in this study were male students of SMAN 2 Ujung Tanjung who totaled 35 people (total sampling). Based on the research results can be concluded as follows: From the results obtained strength of arm shoulders muscles have a corelation with the results of discus throwing at SMA Negeri 2 Ujung Tanjung Tanah Putih, where rhitung (0375)> rtabel (0.334) at α = 0 05. From the results obtained flexibility of the waist have a corelation with the discus throwing results at SMA Negeri 2 Ujung Tanjung Tanah Putih, where rhitung (0384)> rtabel (0.334) at α = 0.05. An corelation was jointly between strength shoulder arms muscle and back flexibility with discus throwing results of at SMA Negeri 2 Ujung Tanjung Tanah Putih, where rhtung (0485)> rtabel (0.334) at α = 0.05.Keywords : Strength Arm- Shoulder Mucles, Disc Throwing

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to develop English instructional tools consist of Lesson Plan and Students' Worksheet, also to find out the validity level of the Instructional tools that were developed by applying Problem-Based Learning as one of the learning methods suggested in the 2013 curriculum. These two Instructional tools were designed to teach Analytical Exposition texts for the second year students of SMA. This research is a developmental research using 4-D Model which conducted only until the 3rd stage; (a) define stage is done to collect various information relating to the product that was developed, (b) design stage is done to plan the draft of instructional tools and arranged it into the right format and (c) develop stage which is done to validate and try-out the instructional tools to the real target. While the last stage of the 4-D Model, namely Disseminate, wasn't conducted due to specific reasons. To find out the validity level of Instructional Tools, the data were collected using the validation sheet of Lesson Plan, validation sheet of Students' Worksheet, which assessed by validators, and students' response questionnaires. Based on the data analysis result, the validation score of the Lesson Plan, Students' Worksheet, and the average score of students' responses are categorized as very valid Instructional Tools, which means that they are ready to be implemented to the second year students of SMA.Key Words: Developing, Lesson Plan, Students? Abstract

Abstract: Based on the observations of the authors in the field since the founding of SSB Youth Self U-17 Pekanbaru from 2010 until the present has not received the maximum results it can be seen from the results of the game that is often followed by SSB Youth Self U-17 Pekanbaru, one of which is on Shooting moment. The objective in this study was to examine the relationship of speed and leg muscle strength with the ability of the player shooting pigeons SSB Youth U-17 Pekanbaru. The population in this study are all registered athletes in SSB Independent Youth U-17 That amounts to 24 people. The sampling technique in this research is to use the total sampling technique. The sample was 24 people. Data collection techniques required in this study is the measurement of the two variables do is measure the speed with a run of 40 yards, with leg leg muscle strength dynamometer and shooting using kegawang shooting. Data collected in the analysis using simple and multiple produt moment. Based on the research that the results obtained are related to the accuracy of speed shooting in a football game SSB Independent Youth U-17 Pekanbaru is the acquisition rhitung (-0.672)> of acquisition rtabel (-0.482) at α = 0.05. then the results obtained have a leg muscle strength in relation to the accuracy shooting football game SSB Independent Youth U-17 Pekanbaru is the acquisition rhitung (0.632)> from the acquisition rtabel (0.482) at α = 0.05. An association was jointly between leg muscle strength and speed of the accuracy of shooting in the game of football SSB Independent Youth U-17 Pekanbaru is the acquisition rhitung (0.769)> from the acquisition rtabel (0.482) at α = 0.05.Keywords: Speed, Strength Muscle Limbs and Shooting

Abstract

Abstract: The application of active learning strategy instant assessment type to improve the students achievement on the subject of chemical equilibrium class XI science SMAN 5 Pekanbaru has been done. The research is a experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of six classes grade. The sample were two classes, where class XI Science 2 as an experimental class and the class Xi science 3 as an control class. They were selected after normality and homogeneity test. Experimental class is a class that was applied to active learning strategy instant assessment type while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test and gain normalized test. Based on data analysis obtained tcount > ttable (3,74>1,67), means that application of active learning strategy instant assessment type can improve student learning achievement on the topic of chemical equilibrium class XI Senior High School (SMA) 5 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,80. The category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,54.Keywords :Learning Achievement, Active Learning Strategy Instant Assessment Type, Chemical Equilibriu.
