Abstract

Abstract: This research is caused by the low of science’s learning outcome of the fourth grade students at SDN 67 Pekanbaru in science subject. Based on the minimum mastery criteria (KKM), which set at school is 75, from 28 students of the fourth grade who reach KKM are 12 students (42,86 %) and the students who do not reach KKM are 16 students (57,14 %) with an average score 66,96. The objective of this research it to increase the science’s learning outcome of the fourth grade students at SDN 67 Pekanbaru by the application of inquiry learning model. Inquiry learning model is a learning model that emphasize students critical thinking and can answer a question or problem by themselves. This research was conducted in two cycles, one cycle twice teaching. The result of data analysis shows teacher and students activities, learning outcome, and mastery of learning outcomes. This research present the learning outcomes which is obtained from daily test result before action with an average score 66,96 increase to 71,07 in cycle I , and increase more become 78,21 in cycle II. Teacher activities in cycle I first meeting is 62,5 %, second meeting is 83,33 %, with an average score 72,91 in average level, in cycle II first meeting is 87,5 %, second meeting is 91,67 %, with an average score 89,58% in excellent level. Students activities in cycle I first meeting is 62,5 %, in second meeting is 79,16 %, with an average score 70,83 % in average level. In cycle II first meeting 83,33 % in second meeting 91,67 %, with an average score 87,5 % in excellent level. Based on the result analysis it can be concluded that the application of inquiry model learning can increase the science’s learning outcome of the fourth grade student at SDN 67 Pekanbaru.Kay words: Inquiry learning model, science’s learning outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak : This research aimed to determine the inventory of remedial programs implementation on Biology subjects High School in Pekanbaru in June to November 2018. This type of research is a descriptive study. The population in this study is all State High Schools in Pekanbaru. The research sample is the State High School that has implemented the 2013 curriculum from 2014 is SMAN 1,SMAN 2, SMAN 6, SMAN 8 and SMAN 12. The research instrument consists of closed questionnaires, interview sheets and RPP documents for biology subjects. Data collection techniques are questionnaires distributed during MGMP activities and interviews with biology teachers in Pekanbaru High School. Data analysis techniques are carried out in descriptive percentage. Based on the results of an inventory of the remedial program implementation on Biology subjects High School in Pekanbaru, it has been carried out with an average value of 66, 92% in the good category. The inventory of remedial implementation consists of teacher knowledge in implementation of remedial programs with an average percentage of 72.8%, which is in the good category, while the implementation of remedial programs is an average value of 64.9% with good categories. This implementation consists of planning indicators of 65.93% with good categories. Implementation is 61.9% with good category and evaluation is 67.06% with good category. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the implementation of the remedial program on Biology subjects High School in Pekanbaru has been carried out even though the implementation is still not optimal and not in accordance with the remedial program manual.Keyword : Biology, Inventory, Remedial Programs

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes IPS. This is caused by the subject teachers do not use learning strategies in the learning process, so that students become bored, unfocused, and less attention to the teacher who was giving lessons. Based on this research by applying learning strategies Card Sort. The main objective of this study was to determine the effect of learning strategies Card Sort the learning outcomes of the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru. This study will be conducted in two classes, and class IV.B IV.C IV.C where the class will be the experimental class and the class will be the class IV.B Control. The intensive research using about pretest and posttest to see the results of social studies students. Pretest is given before the learning process, as a matter of pretest is given then the learning process as much as three meetings in the experimental class and control class and only then given a posttest to determine the final outcome of the learning process. In this study, there is significant influence on the results of data analysis obtained 46% of the effect of learning strategies and the card sort test t where tcount> ttabel or 3.15> 1.996 so that Ho refused and Ha accepted. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis of action in accordance with the results of the study. In other words, there is a significant difference to the learning outcomes of students who acquire learning using learning strategy with a card sort who do not get treatment or conventional learning.Key Words: Card Sort, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the influence of the implementation of problem solving strategy in TPS structural approach of cooperatif learning to the mathematical problem solving ability of students. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru on odd semester academic year 2017/2018. This is a pre-experimental research which using the static-group comparison design. The population is all of students at grade VII in SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru. The sample in this research consists of two class, where the VII8 as an experimental class and the VII9 as a control class. Class experimental was implemented the problem solving strategy in TPS structural approach of cooperative learning and class control class was implemented TPS structural approach of cooperative learning. The instrument of collecting data in this research is early mathematical ability test and mathematical problem solving ability test (postest). The postest result was analyzed by parametric statistic test of Independent Sample T-test and the magnitude of the influence was calculated using the Cohen’s formula. The result of the research showed that implementation of problem solving strategy in TPS structural approach of cooperatif learning gave the positive effect to the mathematical problem solving ability students. The implementation of problem solving strategy in TPS structural approach of cooperatif learning had a magnitude of the effect for 79% toward mathematical problem solving ability the students of class SMP Negeri 25 Pekanbaru and included in the large category.Key Words : Problem solving strategy, Think Pair Share structural approach to cooperatifLeraning, mathematical problem solving ability

Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed to find out the correlation between critical thinking skills and science attitudes of students with biology learning outcomes of class XI MAN 2 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at MAN 2 Pekanbaru which has been collected from May to October 2019. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. The sample used in this studywerestudents of class XI MIA 2 (28 students) and class XI MIA 8 (27 students). The variables that have been observedwere critical thinking abilities and science attitudes and questions and questionnaires on critical thinking skills and science attitude questionnaires were used as the instruments test. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by product moment correlation analysis at 5% level with student learning outcomes. The critical thinking ability of class XI MIA 2 has a correlation of 0.442 with learning outcomes while class XI MIA 8 has a correlation of 0.459 with learning outcomes. The attitude of science class XI MIA 2 has a correlation of 0.703 with learning outcomes while class XI MIA 8 has a correlation of 0.543 with learning outcomes. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that class XI MIA 2 and class XI MIA 8 have a strong correlation between the ability to think critically and the attitude of science with biology learning outcomes namely class XI MIA 2 by 0.720 and class XI MIA 8 by o, 6.Key Words: Correlation, Critical Thinking Skills, Science Attitude, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract:This research about Psychopragmatic Study of Yong Dolah Story. This research is motivated by folktale with a story style in a special Melayu community which is a humorous story or anecdotal story that is closely related to its readers, one of them is a high school/ majors/ equivalent student. The anecdotal story isYong Dolah Story. The purpose of this study is to get students 'understanding of the stories discussed by psychopragmatics or the readers' psychology of the stories. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using literature study techniques, questionnaires, and interviews as data reinforcement. Techniques of respondent data analysis were obtained from questionnaire data collection, then interviews to get a psychopragmatic picture of Yong Dolah story readers. The results of research on Yong Dolah's children from the seven aspects of Assessment, so they can accept the Yong Dolah story as an anecdotal text story used in learning Indonesian.KeyWords: Psychopragmatic, Anecdotal Story, Yong DolahStory

Abstract

Abstract: This research to improve the learning process and the students mathematical understanding skill by implementation cooperative learning model with the discovery method. The type of this research is classroom action research with two cycles. This research was conducted at class XI MIA 3 SMA Negeri 4 Kundur of the first semester to 24 students on 2019/2020 academic year on matrix material. The research instruments used mathematical learning instruments (syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheets) and instruments for collecting data (observation sheets and mathematical understanding tests). Qualitative data were collected by observation technique with observation sheets which aimed to obtain data on the activities of teacher and students. Quantitative data was collected by a test technique using a mathematical understanding ability test kit that aimed to collected students mathematical understanding ability data. Base on the analysis of the observation sheets showed that the quality of implementation of learning process was improved at each meeting. Students have been more active in learning and their participation in increasing knowledge is also getting better. Result of the test indicated that the student’s learning achievement for the first was 48,14 improved in 1st cycle to 60,87 and improved to be 79,73 in 2nd cycle. Students qualification also improved for the 2nd cycle high qualification was 66,7%, medium qualification was 8,3% and low qualification was 25% when compared to 1st cycle that was high qualification was 33,3%, medium qualification was 33,3% and low qualification was 33,3% while the first high qualification was 25%, medium qualification was 12,5% and low qualification was 62,5%Key Words: Cooperative Learning, Discovery Method, Mathematical Understanding Skill

Abstract

Abstract : From the result of field research during practice, researcher finds the problem that there is a lack of leg muscles power on Badminton team O2SN of the students SMPN 22 Pekanbaru. Based on the program, the researcher gives the training of single leg push off, that can increase the power of leg muscles and gives the training program intensively. The type of this research is experimental research with the research purpose is to see the influence of training. The population of the research is 6 people Badminton team O2SN of the students SMPN 22 Pekanbaru. The sampling technique is total sampling, which the total of population is used as sample. The data collected from pree-test and post-test. The instrument of this research is single leg push off as a tool to measure the leg muscles power. The analysis is conducted by using t-test. Based on data analysis and the discussion, it can’t be concluded that there is a single lef push offexercise effect to the leg muscles power on the Badminton team O2SN of the students SMPN 22 Pekanbaru that was proven by Tresult while 1,265 dan Ttable 2,015. Abstract

Abstract: The subjects is research students public elementary school III Pekanbaru, in social studies with a number of students 35 people. Which consisted of 19 male students and 16 female students. This type of research is the PTK (action research) is a research done in class in order to improve/enhance the quality of teaching practices. This research was conducted precisely in November 2014 consisted of 11 cycles. KKM predetermined value is 75, but only 42.85% (15 people) who attain KKM. While 57.15% (20 people) who received grades below a predetermined KKM. By applying the learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT). IPS learning outcomes by using cooperative learning model NHT higher than the learning outcomes before using cooperative learning model NHT. The average initial 64.14, after learning using NHT, increased learning outcomes of scores UH, which is an average increase of 64.14 into 76.28 by 18.92% increase learning outcomes IPS from the base score to UH 2 an average of 64.14 into 82.17 with an increase of 28.95%. This proves that the application of the learning model NHT cooperatif can improve learning outcomes IPS third grade students of SDN 165 Pekanbaru.Keywords: Numbered Head Together (NHT), Learning IPS, IPS Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to know whether there is correlation between sefl regulation and achievement in students of early childhood education teacher program faculty of education university of riau year 2014. The population of this research is the students of early childhood education teacher program faculty of education university of riau year 2014 that consists of 83 students, the samples of this research are 63 students. Method of this research is Pearson Product Moment correlation to know the correlation between sefl regulation and achievement in students of early childhood education teacher program faculty of education university of riau year 2014. The technique of collecting data used questioner in Likert scale form. The technique of analyzing data used scale test and statistic analytical by using SPSS program for Windows Ver. 18. Based on hypothesis there is any significant positive correlation between sefl regulation and achievement in students of early childhood education teacher program faculty of education university of riau year 2014. It could be seen from the result of correlation coefficient that 0,400 and significant level is 0,01<0,05. The level of correlation between self regulation and achievement motivation of students is in the middle category with the rank of determinant coefficient in the amount 16%, it means that self regulation principal affect achievement motivation as much as 16%.Keywords: Self Regulation, Achievement Motivation
