Abstract

ABSTRACT: The problem in this research is the lack of strength of arm and shoulder muscles, it is seen from the results of the bullet is not the maximum repulsion or does not reach the minimum completeness criteria specified Agricultural vocational school Pekanbaru. Forms of this research is experimental study, using total sampling technique obtained a sample of 15 people. The instrument used in this study is the use of roll meter, which aims to measure the results of shot put. Once it is done Pree test and treatment exercise for 16 sessions with 15 students of class X SMK Agriculture ATP3 Pekanbaru and then performed post test. Though with statistical data, to test for normality with lilifors test at significant level 0,05α. The hypothesis is the influence of exercise clap push-ups on the shot put results in class X SMK Agriculture ATP3 Pekanbaru. Based on the analysis of statistical data, there are an average Pree-test of 76.84 and the average post-test of 116.12, then the data is normally distributed. Based on t test analysis produces Thitung of 11.90 and Ttabel 1,761, meaning Thitung> Ttabel. Then, there is the Effect of Exercise clap push-ups on the shot put results of class X SMK Agriculture ATP3 Pekanbaru. Keywords:  Clap push up, shot put

Abstract

Abstract : Based on the observation of many phenomena that occur at school, such as: many students who complain when given a task by their teachers, some of them will stay in the classroom and the others go out of classroom while teaching process is running, lack of motivation to learn because of the condition of the class is not fun. This resulted in many students stress, and can disturbing students focus. Stress management is a program for controlling or setting the stress which aims to recognize the causes of stress and know the techniques to manage stress, so that can make people better. Guidance group is one of the services to help students solve the problem, therefore researchers interested in studying the effect of group counseling services for stress management students. This type of research used in this study was pre-experimental with one group pre-test post-test. Subjects in this study were 30 students who had stress management in the medium category. Based on the analysis of obtained is bigger than t table, means (13.86> 2,000). Thus Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, which means that in this study there are significant differences of increasingstudentsstress management before and after the given group counseling services. Based on the correlation of test results it finds 0.7 and determinant coefficient is r2 0.49, therefore the influence of counseling services for stress students management group is 49%. If compared with r table to dk 58 with the standard error of 5% means (0.49> 0.361), thereby Ha accepted and there is a significant positive effect of group counseling services for stress management students.Keywords: Guidance group, Stress management

Abstract

Abstract : This research is in the background of the problem that arose from the observations made by the researcher is about the meaning of Ulos in the Toba Batak customs in Tambusai sub-district of Rokan Hulu Regency. The problem formulation in this research is (1) how society perception toward ulos meaning from traditional ceremony of birth, marriage, and death (2) what factors influence the meaning of ulos. The purpose of this study is to determine the perception of society terhdap meaning ulos in adat batak toba in Tambusai district Rokan Hulu regency. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Population in research is all Toba Batak society in Tambusai sub-district Rokan Hulu Regency is 12.410 soul to determine the amount of sample then writer use Porpusive Sampling. Porpusive Sampling is a technique of taking or sampling with certain considerations with the number of samples of 30 people. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires and interviews. Based on the research results can be concluded that the meaning of ulos in the event of birth and marriage customs less in maintained high by the Toba Batak community in Tambusai District Rokan Hulu District and has undergone a change. While in the customary event of death batak toba in tambusai subdistrict did not change. Factors that affect the meaning of ulos Toba Batak customary events that exist in Tambusai District Rokan Hulu District is a factor of Knowledge, Technology and Religion. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this study was to development of worksheets topic energy in live for junior high school grade seven with scientific approach to improve science process skills. This study held on June until December 2014. This study conducted with assessment worksheet paper, respondent paper, and observation scientific process skills paper. The assessment worksheet paper consist of 27 items and is 4 aspects. The aspect are content expert, linguist, presentation expert, and to encourage students to learn and work scientifically. This study was conducted using method of Research and Development of model ADDIE. The result showed of the experts’ assessment who developed products of content experts was very valid (M=3.53), linguist was very valid (M=3.48), presentation experts was very valid (M=3.51), and work scientifically was very valid (M=3.41). In addition for the scientific process skills students have achieved good category. That result indicated the product that has been developed worthy used in science teaching in schools and can improved science process skills.Key words: Scientific Approach; Science Process Skills; Development of Worksheet

Abstract

Abstract: One manifestation of political consciousness is political participation in the election of the mayor. Political participation based on political consciousness will encourage people to exercise their right to vote rationally and in accordance with the aspirations of the people. But in reality, the level of voter participation in the election mayor of Pekanbaru in 2017 is still lacking. Percentage of voters' participation in sub district Tenayan Raya only reached 43.72%, which means there are still many voters who did not participate that reached 56.28%. This study aims to explain the effect of political awareness on political participation. This study uses quantitative descriptive by spreading questionnaires to 100 respondents in four urban villages in Tenayan Raya sub district, then the data is analyzed by using logistic regression. Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between political awareness on political participation because the value of p value Chi-Square 13,105 > Chi-Square table 3,841. In the Pseudo R Square table of 16.4% political awareness contribution to political participation, in other words 83.6% other factors from outside the model that explain the dependent variable. Based on the analysis of political awareness data of Tenayan Raya sub-district is low down to 68%, while the political participation of Tenayan Raya community in the election of mayor of Pekanbaru is also categorized as low by 94%.Keywords: Political Awareness, Political Participation

Abstract

 ABSTRACTThis study was conducted at SMP Negri 4 Tualang in the second semester of the school years 2012/2013. The subject of the research is students of class VIIIE. There are 36 student in that class, consisting 18 girl and 18 boys who have heterogeneous academic ability. The goal of this study is to improve students’ mathematics achievement, especially in geometrical (cubes, blocks, prisms, and limas) by applying the Cooperative Learning Think Pair Square Approach. This study is an action research. There are two cycles and four stages in this study. Each cycle has four stages, they are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The result of research showed that the improvement of students learning achievement. The percentage of first cycle showed that students who get minimum achievement criteria (MMC), from 50% to 72,22%. While, in the second cycle, the percentage of students who minimum achievement criteria (MMC) increase to 91,66%. In other words, the implementation of Cooperative Learning Think Pair Square can improve students’ mathematics achievement in class VIIIE of SMP Negeri 4 Tualang, especially in geometrical in the school years 2012/2013.          Key words: Cooperative Learning, Think Pair Square, Learning Achievement

Abstract

Abstract: This research objective is to find out the form of code mixing in Kaskus online forum. The research data were collected in february 2017. The subject of this research was the user of Kaskus online forum in a thread entitiles “Cara Asik to Improve Your English”. The data were collected through online report. The subject consisted of 16 users with 48 posts, and 64 sentences. The research found out that the all of code mixing forms exist in Kaskus and several purposes of code mixing are found in this research. As a conclusion, the use of insertion of words is more dominant than other insertion in the research and Kaskus users are not using the code mixing for their incompetence.Keywords: Sociolinguistic, Code Mixing

Abstract

Abstract: The problem with this research it still a lack of mastering techniques under the basket shoot. in addition, athletes also often incorrectly take into the angle of the ball on the basketball throw so the ball more often just pass over the opponent basketball ring. The study research to determine whether there is effect of variation training on basketball shooting ability at Basketball Club Putra LBC (Lily Basket Club) Pekanbaru. Type of research used is experiment and using one preetest-posttest disign. Population is research in Men’s Basketball Club LBC (Lily Basketball Club) Pekanbaru is the entire populations of 10 people. While the sample technique used is total sampling (saturated sample) where all the population is sampled. The sample in this study amounted to 10 people of Men’s Basketball Club LBC(Lily Basketball Club). The instruments use in this research is to test basketball shooting for 60 seconds. After that, the data is processed with statistics, normality test with lilifors test at significance level ɑ (0.05). The hypothesis is the effect of variation exercises on the shooting ability of the men's basketball. Based on the analysis of statistical data, there are an average pree-test 19,90 and an average post-test 30,30, then the data is normal with an increase of 10.40 . Based on t test analysis produces t hitung = 8.918 > t tabel = 1.833. Meaning t hitung > t tabel. Thus, there effect of exercise variation of Club Basketball Putra LBC (Lily Basket Club) Pekanbaru on basketball ability shooting of LBC Basketball Club (Lily Basket Club) Pekanbaru.Keywords : Variation Training, Shooting Ability, Basketball

Abstract

Abstract: This descriptive research was aimed to find out the ability of the first year students of SMA Negeri 2 Rumbio Jaya in retelling fairy tales. The research data were collected on July 2016. The subject of this research was class X1 consisted of 25 students. The data were collected by giving text to the students in term of fairy tales namely Putri Pandan Berduri, Keong Mas (The Golden Snail), Lutung Kasarung, Bunga Batu (The Stone Flower), and Bawang Merah dan Bawang Putih (Onion and Garlic). The students were asked to retell fairy tales in front of the class. During the students retelling the story, three raters were listening and checking the students’ performance. The students were given scores by three raters based on the five components of speaking namely pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency and comprehension. Based on the research findings, it was found out thatthe ability of the first year students in retelling fairy tales is in mediocre level with the mean score 45.92. Then, the result showed that no student was in excellent level and 3 students (12%) reached good level. Furthermore, 15 students (60 %) were in mediocre level. Moreover, 7 students (28%) were in poor level and no student got the score in very poor level.Key Words: Students’ Ability, Retelling, Fairy Tales

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in motor skills fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years through weaving In Ra Al Furqon Koto Perambahan Village East Kampar District Regency Of Kampar. This study is the kind of research that uses classroom action research or (PTK) is conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action planning, observation / evaluation and reflection. The subjects were children aged 5-6 years were 10 children in RA Al-Furqan. The research data obtained through observation and data analysis with quantitative descriptive analysis techniques of fine motor skills in children aged 5-6 years. It can be seen from the increase in the average percentage of fine motor skills in the first cycle of 54.79% which are in developing criteria to expectations (BSH) and an increase of 43.37% in the second cycle be 78.54% which is at criteria developed very well (BSH). So, weaving can improve fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years in RA Al-Furqan Koto village Encroachment Kampar District Kampar regency.Keywords: Fine Motor Skill, weaving
