Abstract: This research aims to describe the critical thinking skills of students in class X Pi SMA IT Al-Ittihad Pekanbaru through the implementation of Metacognitive Strategies in lesson temperature and heat. The research used pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were students of class X Pi totalling 19 female students. The instrument of data collection in this study is the critical thinking skills test. Analysis of the data in this study is a descriptive analysis to see an overview of the critical thinking skills of student by using 3 criterias are: (1) absorption, (2) increase critical thinking skills of students in 5 indicators of critical thinking skills (analysis, synthesis, recognize and solve problems, conclude, and evaluate), (3) effectiveness of learning. The research showed the critical thinking skills of student in class X Pi SMA IT al-Ittihad Pekanbaru through the implementation of Metacognitive Strategies in lesson temperature and heat are in good category (70,1%), increase critical thinking skills of students in each of the indicators of critical thinking skills in middle category , and the effectiveness of learning through metacognitive strategies to improve students' critical thinking skills in the category quite effective. Abstract: The formilition of the poblem in this study is weather the students interest in partiipatian in scout’s ectracurriculer ativuities is onsidered high. The aim of this study to determine the levelbof student’s interest in participating scout’s extracurriculer activity in senior high school of YLPI Pekanbaru. The benefits of this research is the first step in applaying all knowledge that has been gained during the leturing and gain the knowledge and insight on matters relating to the student’s interest in participating in scout activities. This is a descriptive study with qualitative approach. Population in this study is 290 people. Sampling in this study by using purposive. Instrument used in this study was a questionarecontaining 75 statements, the studen’s intereset in participating scout’s extraurriculer in senior high school of YLPI Pekanbaru with indicators: 1) ceremony, 2) Line, 3) Rigging, 4) Cipher, 5) Compas, 6) Scout, 7) Social activity, 8) Scout. The result of this study is that the student’s interest in participating scout extracurriculer activites in senior high shool of YLPI Pekanbaru is high. Keywords: Interest, Extracurricural, Scout.

Abstrak : The district Tilatang Kamang there are various traditions that deviate from religion norms. Customs and traditions have clung so hard so to be abolished. The ulama seeks to advise the public to follow the Islmanic Shari’a, but the fact is many people who do not want to listen to that advice, until a religious figure Tuanku Nan Renceh initiate new ideas to change people’s traditions with harsh and radical teachings.This study aims to determine the background (biography) Tuanku Nan Renceh, to know the culture and traditions of Tilatang Kamang society before and after the entry of the renewal, to know the cultures deviant who eradicated by Tuanku Nan Renceh, to know mindset Tuanku Nan Renceh about the culture to deviate, to find out what Tuanku Nan Renceh efforts in making changes to the system and habits of the people who have strayed of religious norms and customs norms prevailing in society.The theory used in this study is religious purification movement theory, the theory of religion, forms of movement of religious purification, and cultural theory. This study uses historical and documentary research. Data collection techniques in this study is the literature, documentation, comparative studies will then be deduced.The results showed that Tuanku Nan Renceh is known as the man who led a religious movement in Tilatang Kamang to change the tradition and culture of the people who deviate. As an Islamic religious leader, Tuanku Nan Renceh implement radical teachings and did not hesitate to act against violence against society so successfully eradicate some deviant culture, the pattern wahhabi teachings of mecca.Keywords: Culture, Religion, Tuanku Nan Renceh

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and learning outcomes IPS grade IV SDN 012 Kualu Kampar regency. This was indicated by 40.62% of the 32 students achieve mastery minimum criteria (KKM) of the test scores of students in grade IV SDN 012 Kualu Kampar District Mining District to the subject. On average students is 61.56 and KKM expressed by schools is 60 based on this issue is needed to carry out action research using cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) type. This study aims to determine whether the implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) type can improve students' learning process and learning outcomes of social science in grade IV SDN 012 Kualu Kampar district in 2014/2015 with 32 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. The first cycle consisted of three meetings with the daily tests and the first tournament, the second cycle consists of three meetings with the daily tests and the second Tournament. instruments to collect data in this study is teacher observation sheets, and test. By applying using cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) type can improve student learning outcomes. Percentage of completeness in the base score is 40.62% (average 61.56), and it turned into a 65.62% (average 68.43) in the first cycle and, 81.25% (mean 76.25 average) at the second cycle. Percentage 'teacher activity in the first cycle was 64.59%, and 87.5% in the second cycle. Then the percentage of student activity in the first cycle was 62.5% and 87.5% in the second cycle. From these data prove that imlementation cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) type can improve student learning and learning outcomes in grade IV SDN 012 Kualu Kampar regency. Abstract: This study aims to investigate the implementation of the sand play activities can improve visual spatial intelligence of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Ar Rahim Limbungan Rumbai District of Pekanbaru. This research is a classroom action research. The subject of this study is a kindergartner Ar Rahim Limbungan Rumbai Pekanbaru District of the number of children as much as 22 children consisted of 10 men and 12 daughters. Percentage increase in visual-spatial intelligence of children aged 5-6 years by using sand play in kindergarten Ar Rahim Limbungan Pekanbaru District of Rumbai can be seen from the Pre cycle or before the application of the sand play until the second cycle. On the preliminary data obtained score 223 with a percentage of 42.2%. While the value of the first cycle to 56.3%. The next and the second cycle increases with the value of 81.4%. In testing the hypothesis can be seen improvement gained from each cycle. Where an increase in visual-spatial intelligence obtained prior to the first cycle of action to increase by 33.3%. While improving visual-spatial intelligence from cycle I to cycle II of 44.6%, and the overall improvement of visual-spatial intelligence of initial data to the cycle II of 92.8%.Keywords: Play Sand, Visual Spatial Intelligence

Abstract: This research was based on physical punishments to discipline students according to Islamic education with certain limitations. Pondok Pesantren (boarding school) as an educational institution of Islam, still allow ways to punish physically in disciplining students, regardless of the issue of human rights violation. Pondok Pesantren Darul Quran cling to the teachings of the Quran and Hadiths about how to punish their students. The formulation of the problem was ‘is there any effect of physical punishment to the establishment of studens’ discipline in MTs Pondok Pesantren Darul Quran Kampar?’. This research was aimed to discover the effect of the physical punishment to establishment of students’ discipline in MTs Darul Quran Kampar. The population was 22 teachers and 144 students and the sample was 22 students by proportional random sampling technique. The data were collected by a questionnaire consisting of 15 questions for teachers about the physical punishment (X variable) and 19 questions about the students’ discipline (Y variable). The data were analyzed by quantitavive descriptive using SPSS 18.0 version. The research finding showed that the hypothesis of there is the effect of physical punishments to the establishment of students’ discipline in MTs Darul Quran Kampar was rejected. The finding also proved by the hypothesis tests between X variable to Y variable, the results were Fcalculate 0,667 and Ttable 4,35 that found from critical values for the F distribution N=22, significant level 5%, so Fcalculate < Ftable or 0,667<4,35. In addition, the hypothesis was rejected that there was no effect of the physical punishments to the establishment of students’ discipline in MTs Darul Quran Kampar.Keywords: Physical punishment, Students’ discipline

Abstract: Persona is the word personal pronouns a substitute who used to replace a word refers to persons.Persona of pronouns is also used by the community of Baserah in sub district of Kuantan Hilir, Kuantan SingingiRegency. One of the unique persona pronouns is the interpretation of it. One form of pronouns persona used in an area can have the level of civility a difference meaning in the place of another. Because of that , persona pronouns used in a society going to sound incongruous in the ear of people using other persona pronouns. The research is the qualitative study by the descriptive method.Of lab data in the form of oral speech classified based on its shape.The result of this research showed that persona the form of the personal pronouns in the malay language riau subdialek baserah consists of ( 1 ) the personal pronouns first persona ( 2 ) persona of pronouns second ( 3 ) the personal pronouns persona third.The personal pronouns third the persona divided more on the singular and plural.Based on its function persona the personal pronouns in the malay language Riau Subdialek Baserah can be used by someone who speaks substituting the name of its own one who talk to, and another person being talk about.The use of the personal pronouns each adapted to age, social status, and gender.Keyword: pronouns persona, shape, function

Abstract: Reference is the relationship between the referent and the simbols used to represent it. Reference is outside elements language designated by the language elements. Reference endofora is that the reference to the entities contained in the text (language). Reference endofora diveded into anaphora and katafora. Anaphora refersto cross the foregoing elements, while katafora refer to cross the elements mentioned later. Reference endofora both anaphora and katafora usually use pronouns, both personal pronoun, demonstrative pronouns, and comparative pronoun. Reference endofora found in many sentences in the newspaper compass. The uniqueness of reference can be seen in terms endofora interpret. Therefore, both anaphora and katafora can be encountered in the sentences contained in the paper compass. The research is the qualitative study by the descriptive method. The research data in the form of a compass newspaper text. Then presented descriptively analysis result obtained in the study means that the data unraveled in the form of words not in the form of numbers. The results showed that the distribution of reference endofora by its nature consists of ( 1 ) the reference endofora anaphora, ( 2 ) the reference endofora katafora. Types of reference marker consisting of 1) personal pronoun references, 2) demonstrative pronoun references, 3) comparative reference pronouns. These three types of reference markers present in both anaphora and reference katafora in newspaper compass.Keyword: reference endofora, nature, type
