Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to find out the difference of student’s ability in writing Japanese essays (sakubun) after implementing Secret Message Game. The research is conducted using weak experimental type one group pre test post test design. The object of this research is 16 second-level students as the respondents. The sample is taken by using simple random sampling technique. Data collection was performed by giving test and questionnaire. The given test was writing Japanese essays (sakubun) with the topic “hobby”. The writer applies two tests, they are pre test and post test. Pre test is given before the students are taught by implementing Secret Message Game, and post test is given after the students are taught with Secret Message Game. This research is processed by paired sample t-test using software of SPSS Version 16 in order to know whether Ha is accepted or not. Based on the data analysis, the value of the post test in writing Japanese essays is lower than 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). It means that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Besides that, most students agree that this game is effectively helping to write Japanese essays (sakubun) easily. The result of this research is that there is a significant impact of using Secret Message Game in learning of Japanese essays (sakubun) on the second-level students of Japanese Education Department Faculty of Teacher’s Training and Education Riau University.Key Words: Sakubun, Secret Message Game, Writing Skill

Abstract

Abstract: This research is titled reduplication in Riau Malay Folklore.  The purpose of this study is to identify forms and meanings of reduplication in Riau Malay Folklore.  The benefits of this research are divided into two namely practical and theoretical.  The operational definition is research that directs to the forms and meanings of reduplication contained in Riau Malay Folklore which in this case is focused on reduplication contained in the Riau Malay Folklore book from Bengkalis Regency entitled: Khayal Interview with Yung Dollah, Lancang Kuning in  Bukit Batu, Dedap Durhaka, Awang Pink Crushing Lanun, Story of the Terubuk King Falling in Love with Princess Puyu, A Brief History of Datuk Setia Indra Merbau, Tragedy in Tanah Pereban, and Panglima Bujang Kelana.  The data of this study are the contents of the Riau Malay Folk Stories, especially those from Bengkalis Regency, where there is a re-use or reduplication in the Riau Malay Folklore book, especially those from Bengkalis Regency.  The research method used is a qualitative method that describes descriptive data.  Data collection techniques used are reading and note-taking techniques.  After the data is collected, the steps or techniques used in analyzing the data are as follows: (1) identifying reduplication contained in the Malay folklore book especially those from Bengkalis Regency, (2) grouping the forms and meanings of reduplication  contained in the Riau Malay Folklore book especially those from Bengkalis Regency.  (3) describe the forms and meanings of reduplication obtained in the Riau Malay Folklore book especially those from Bengkalis Regency, (4) conclude how the forms and meanings of reduplication contained in the Riau Malay Folklore book especially those originating from  Bengkalis Regency.  Based on the data analysis that has been done, found 226 reduplication data in Riau Malay Folklore. Key Words: Reduplication, Forms of Reduplication, Meaning Reduplication, Riau Malay     Folklore

Abstract

Abstract:Low student learning outcomes can be seen from the beginning of learning outcomes data. Therefore, this model is applied to increase the yield of Quantum Teaching IV B class IPS SD 41 Duri Barat. Purposes of applying this model to improve student learning outcomes grade IV B 41 Duri West. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted two cycles. To improve learning outcomes IPS grade IV B  41 Duri Barat, then applied the model Quantum Teaching. Subjects in this study were students of class IV B SD 41 Duri Barat, as many as 26 students, consisting of 16 male students and 10 female students. The percentage of teacher activity in cycle 1 meeting 75% increase in first at the meeting of 2 to 79%. And the second cycle of meeting 1 meeting 87.5% 2 95%. The percentage of student activity cycle I meeting 1, meeting 62.5% 2 65% while the second cycle 1 meeting increased to 82.5% Meeting 2 90%. While the average student learning outcomes preliminary data 59.42 students who graduated were 9 people (34.61%) did not complete the 17 subjects (65.39%). My daily test the thoroughness of the first cycle increased to 69.04 students who completed the 16 (61.53%) and did not complete the 10 (38.47%) experienced a 16.17% increase learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the second cycle of daily test II increased by an average value of 77.50 students who graduate as many as 23 people (88.46%) and unfinished 3 people (11.54%) increased by 30.42%. The study hypothesis was that if implemented the model of Quantum Teaching can improve learning outcomes IPS grade IV B SD 41  Duri Barat. KeyWords: Quantum Teaching, learning outcomes IPS

Abstract

Abstract :The background of this research by studying the results of theeconomic subjects achieved by the students of Senior High SchoolCendana Pekanbaru that generally not reached the minimum score criteria(KKM) that is 78. Learning economy in this school is still generallycentered on the teacher (teacher center) and only occasionally engage thelearners. During this time, teachers implemented conventional learning.On the other there are many models of learning that can lead to studentsactive and make learning more meaningful, one of them is model of 5Elearning cycle. The purpose of this study to determine students learningoutcomes using cycle learning model, the difference and how much theinfluence of this model toward learning outcomes.The population in this study were all students of class XI Social inSenior High School Cendana Pekanbaru that consist of 71 students thatincludes three classes. While the sample are a class XI Social 1 and XISocial 3 that consist of 46 students were previously given homogeneitytest. Data analysis techniques used are different test using the formulaindependent sample t-test and to determine how much the influenceof thismodel using the glass (Δ) formula.Posttest data shows the average value of the experimental classwas 85,13 while the average values of the control class is 79,83. Posttestresults was tested using different test with a significance of 0,0009 is lessthan 0,05 (set), it means there is a significant difference between theposttest results of experimental class and control class. The results ofdifferent test show there is an influence of learning cycle model towardstudent learning outcomes of class XI on economic subjects in SeniorHigh School Cendana Pekanbaru. Further, Glass (Δ) testing found themagnitude of the effect then explain the value of 0,8 included into broadcategories. Thus, it can be interpreted that the cycle learning model hasconsiderable influence toward student learning outcomes.Key Word : Model 5E Learning Cycle and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and increase the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation Cooperative Learning of STAD. This type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycle. The research was conducted in class VIIA SMP An-Namiroh Pekanbaru in the odd semester of the 2016/2017 academic year with the subject of as many as 29 students, consist of 14 boys and 15 girls. The research instrument consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research is the Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Worksheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is the observation sheet and math achievement test. Data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the result of the research showed that implementation of learning process on cycle II had happened improvement from implementation on cycle I. Weakness on cycle I is improved on implementation cycle II according with planning of improvement after reflection cycle I. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to daily test II. The number of students who reach Minimum Mastery Criteria on basic scor, daily test I and daily test II are respectively 14 person (48%), 16 person (55%) and 20 person (69%). Results of this research indicates that application of Cooperative Learning of STAD can improve learning process and increase mathematics learning outcomes from the students at class VIIA SMP An-Namiroh Pekanbaru in the odd semester academic years 2016/2017 at Basic Competencies 2.1 Knowing the algebra and it’s elements, and 2.2 Doing algebra operation.Key words: Cooperative Learning of STAD, student’s mathematics learning outcomes, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the facts found in the class IV SDN 166 Pekanbaru, which shows the results of learning mathematics is still relatively low. Formulation of the problem in this research is: "Is the Application of Cooperative Learning Model Make A Match can improve learning outcomes Mathematics SDN 166 Pekanbaru?". The purpose of this study are: to improve learning outcomes mathematics SDN 166 Pekanbaru through the implementation of cooperative learning model of Make A Match. The hypothesis of this study is that if implemented cooperative learning model of Make A Match it can improve learning outcomes mathematics SDN 166 Pekanbaru. The study was conducted in SDN 166 Pekanbaru in April 2016. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) with two cycles. The subjects were students of class IV SDN 166 Pekanbaru 2014/2015 academic year consisting of 30 students with 15 female students and 15 male students - men. Based on the results of the teacher activity sheet seen rising every meeting. The first meeting in the first cycle percentage (61.11%) with enough categories, the second meeting of the first cycle percentage (75%) with enough category. While on the second cycle, the first meeting with the teacher activity percentage (80.55%) both categories and the second meeting of the activities of teachers percentage (86.11%) in both categories. While the activities of students at the first meeting of the first cycle percentage (58.33%) with enough categories, the second meeting of the first cycle percentage (66.66%) with enough category. While on the second cycle, the first meeting with the student activity percentage (77.77%) both categories and the second meeting of the percentage of student activity (86.11%) in both categories. The results of study in the first cycle increased to 73.83 so has increased by 4.16 points (5.97%) from the base score 69.67. In the second cycle learning outcomes of students increased again to 81.5, occurred an increase in returns of 11.83 points (16.98%). Average value on the basis of a score of 69.67, the first UH increased to 73.83 with an increase of 5,97%. At UH II value - average increased again to 81,5 with an increase of 16,98%. So the results of this study in accordance with the hypothesis ofaction.Key words: Cooperative Learning Model Make A Match, learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses reduplication, reduplication types, and the meaning contained in the novel reduplications Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck karya Hamka. This study aimed to describe the types of reduplication and meaning in the novel reduplications Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck karya Hamka. This study is a qualitative research and descriptive method. Techniques used in data collection in this study is engineering documentation and technical notes. Data that has been found by reading and then analyzed by several stages of identifying the type, classifying the data, analyze the data and make inferences. Data sourced from reduplication found that novel serve as a reference in the study. The object of this research that says that experiencing reduplication. In this study there were 321 data regarding the type of reduplication, reduplication of data across 111, 122 partial reduplication of data, the data reduplication affixed 82, and 6 to change the data reduplication phonemes. On the meaning of reduplication there are as many as 148 of data, 10 data contained in reduplications meaningful assortment, 50 meaningful data plural, 17 meaningful data many times or repeatedly, 31 meaningful data are taking place or carried out continuously, 15 meaningful data, 5 meaningful data relaxing, very meaningful data 3, 16 or superlative most meaningful data, and the first meaningful data specificity.Key Words: Reduplication, novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is the lack of teachers in the use of mastery learning model IPS. As for the teachers who often do just conventional learning so that learning becomes menoton and students do not have the ability to discuss, motivated and ultimately affect learning outcomes. Based on the problems it is necessary to find a way to solve those problems. Among them are applying the quantum model of teaching that is more attractive to the environmental conditions of students in everyday life. Quantum teaching models provide an opportunity for students to learn with a nice atmosphere. In accordance with the concept of quantum teaching that "the world bring them into our world, and deliver our world into their world" so that learning model of quantum teaching can improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School third grade students 009 Baturijal Hilir District of Peranap. The subjects were students of class IIIB Elementary School 009 Baturijal Peranap Hilir District of academic year 2014/2015 the number of students 20 people. This research was conducted in two cycles with two meetings with two replications end. This research data collection instruments were observation sheet student, teacher observation sheet and repeat the test end of the cycle. The study is in the form of classroom action research (PTK), aims to drive the learning outcomes IPS Elementary School third grade students Baturijal 009 Downstream on the material usability money. These results indicate that the model of Quantum Teaching learning can improve student learning outcomes IPS. IPS student learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in base score with an average of 58.3 in the category of not being able, first cycle with an average of 68 to afford categories and second cycle the average value of 79 with categories capable. Evident from the average score of the base, the first cycle and second cycle increase occurred in the first cycle by 18% and experienced a very significant increase seen in the second cycle by 36%. Results obtained data refer to the standard of learning outcomes IPS capabilities, and it means that the model of Quantum Teaching learning can improve learning outcomes IPS Elementary School third grade students 009 Baturijal Hilir District of Peranap. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui apakah konsep diri berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS terpadu di SMPN 3 Tapung Hilir; (2) Mengetahui apakan motivasi berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS terpadu di SMPN 3 Tapung Hilir; (3) Mengetahui apakah konsep diri dan motivasi berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS terpadu di SMPN 3 Tapung Hilir. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 3 Tapung Hilir, subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 60 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket penelitian dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda yang diproses  melalui SPSS versi 17 for windows. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh persamaan Y = 9,052a + 0,763X1 + 0,203X2. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, konsep diri (X1)  dan motivasi (X2) mampu mempengaruhi prestasi belajar (Y). hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji F. Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 78,378 > 2,52. Sedangkan secara parsial konsep diri (X1) dan motivasi (X2) berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 3 Tapung Hilir (Y). hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji t. dimana t hitung konsep diri 9,862 (X1), dan motivasi sebesar 2,688 (X2) dan t tabelnya sebesar 2,00. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa t hitung > t tabel. Selanjutnya nilai Koefisien determinasi (R2) diperoleh sebesar 73,3%,  ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri dan motivasi memiliki konstribusi terhadap prestasi belajar sebesar 73,3%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 26,7 dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Kata Kunci : Konsep Diri, Motivasi dan Prestasi Belajar

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the type of socialization for beginner voters as a means to see the beginner voters role in society. The lack of political education the beginner voters got in the Palas District made them did not know about the importance of political participation The formulation of the problem in this research is how is the Type of Political Socialization for Beginner Voters in Palas Rumbai district Pekanbaru City? The purpose of this research is to know the Types of Political Socialization for Beginner Voters in Palas Rumbai district Pekanbaru City. The population of this research is beginner voters in Palas with the numbers of beginner voters are 273 people and the writer tooks 69 people as the samples. The instruments of data collection are observation, questionnaire, interview and documentation. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire consisting of 24 questions and an interview consisted of 24 questions. In analyzing the data, the writer used Qualitative Descriptive analysis. From the results of this study indicated that the types of political socialization for beginner voters in Kelurahan Palas, Rumbai district Pekanbaru, it can be seen from 69 respondents, 52.47% said “yes “ as an answer and 47.53% said “no” to type of direct socialization, while those who answered "Yes" ( 55.07%) and "No" (44.93%) to the type of socialization indirectly. So it can be concluded that the type of political socialization for beginner voters is indirectly. on the generalization indicator that is” believed” to be the highest type of 71.01% of respondents answered "Yes" while the “internship “ indicator is the political skill of clashing the lowest type with the percentage of which answered "No" of 63.77%.Keywords: Socialization Type, beginner voters
