Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the timeliness of reporting financial statements on companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2018. The population in this study is that there are 21 companies that do not report their financial reports on time for the 2014 to 2018 period. There are 9 companies selected as samples using purposive sampling. The data used in this study is secondary data, by collecting the required information from the internet in the form of financial reports 2014 to 2018. the techniques used to analyze the data are descriptive statistics, logistic regression, hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that profitability and liquidity have a significant effect on the timeliness of financial reporting, while company size and leverage have no significant effect on timeliness of financial reporting. Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to examine the influence of Bank Indonesia Interest Rates and Earning per Share on the Chemical Sector Manufacturing Company Stocks Return listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013 to 2017 period. This research used descriptive quantitative methods with correlational research design and multiple regression analysis. The data used in this research were secondary data, i.e the company's annual report. The population in this research was all Manufacturing Companies in the Basic and Chemical Industry sectors which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2013 to 2017 were 68 companies with purposive sampling techniques which have certain criteria. The total samples in this research were 9 chemical sector companies. Based on the research finding, it found that Bank Indonesia interest rates and Earning per Share were simultaneously influence on the stock Returns. The influence magnitude of Bank Indonesia interest rates and Income per Share on Stock Returns was 27.1% while the rest 72.9% were influenced by other variables which is not explained in this research. Furthermore, the research finding partially showed that Bank Indonesia interest rates have a significant influence on the stock returns, while Earning per Share has no significant influence.Key Words: BI Interest Rate, Earning per Share, and Stock Return.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the utilization of Bidikmisi scholarship to support students’ learning achievement. The subject of this study is students the study Program of Economics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University. Data were obtained from 23 students scholarship recipients 2016, 2017, and 2018. The data collection techniques used is interview. Technical analysis of data used is qualitative descriptive. Researchers grouped 3 categories of IPK namely high value IPK, moderate value IPK and low value IPK as the basis of determination based on students’ learning achievement. The results showed that from eight indicators, to determine the utilization of Bidikmisi scholarship Program for Students of Economics Education, is separated into 2, namely academic and non-academic benefits. Academic benefits consisting 5 indicators, namely 1) Buy a college book, 2) Pay Tuition fee, 3) Photocopy of coursework, 4) coursework, electronics and pulse package 5) fulfillment of daily necessities, they utilize Scholarship Fund. While the non-academic benefits consist of 3 indicator, namely 6) fulfillment of lifestyle, 7) body care, and 8) transportation, they do not utilize the Bidikmisi scholarship fund.Key Words: Utilization Of Bidikmisi Scholarship, Learning Achievement

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve improve social studies learning outcomes of students in class VII.3 in Pekanbaru State Middle School 32 by using the scramble learning model. The method used in this study is the Class Action Research Method (CAR). The results of the study obtained from teacher activities in the first cycle were 21 (75%) categorized as good and increased in the second cycle to 27 (96.42%) categorized as very good. The category of student activity in the first cycle was 23 (82.14%) categorized as very good then increased in the second cycle to 29 (96.85%) categorized as very good. The increase in learning outcomes from the basic score to the first cycle is 3.7% and the increase in learning outcomes from the base cycle of the second cycle is 8.275%. Classical learning outcomes on basic scores that reach KKm only 72.5% experienced an increase in the first cycle to 80% and in the second cycle increased again to 85%. The conclusion that the use of the scramble learning model can improve social studies learning outcomes of students in class VII.3 Pekanbaru 32 Middle School.Key Words: Scramble Learning Model, Scramble Learning Model

Abstract

Abstract: This study was aimed at finding out the effect of teacher personality on the students’ result of learning at SMA YLPI Pekanbaru. Population in this study are all the second grade students of SMA YLPI pekanbaru which are 75 students and this study used census sample technique. The data was collected by using quistionnaire about teacher personality that was distributed to respondent. To obtain the value of teacher personality, data analysis that is used is simple liniear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study, it can be known that there is an effect of the teacher personality on the result of learning of the second grade students of SMA YLPI Pekanbaru in Economic subject that is equal to 0.167% or 16.7%, while the rest of 83.3% is influenced by other factors that are not examined in this study, such as intellegence, peers, learning motivation, and learning discipline factor. It is expected that teachers will increase their personal comptence and students also study harder without seeing who their teacher is.Key Words: Teachers' Personality Competence, Students' Ability, Economic Learning

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the perceptions of teachers tutors to competence of PLP students of economic education FKIP Riau University at Pekanbaru City High School in 2019. Competencies reviewed include pedagogical competence, professional competence, personality competence, and social competence. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study. The data collection technique used was a Likert scale questionnaire and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistics. Based on the teacher's perceptions of 25 PLP students, the results of the study showed that, the PLP students' pedagogical competence was in the Good category with a percentage of 83.02%, professional competence was in the Very Good category with a percentage of 84.5%, personal competence was in the Very Good category with a percentage 88.2%, and social competence is in the Very Good category with a percentage of 87.87%. Based on these results, the competence of PLP students in economic education is in the Very Good category with an average percentage of 85.90%. Furthermore, students are expected to maintain and improve several aspects of perceived competence such as the ability to understand the characteristics of students, develop and apply learning materials creatively and innovatively.Key Words: Perception, Teacher Competence, Introduction To The School Field.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of financial knowledge and financial literacy on the behavior of students of the University of Riau's economic education. The population in this study were all economic education students in the accounting and cooperative majors in 2015 and 2016, namely 164 students and in this study the sampling used was probability sampling with purposive sampling sampling technique with a total of 89 students. To determine the number of samples using criteria, namely all students of 2015 and 2016 Economic Education and students who do not take accounting concentration. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and tests, tests of students' financial knowledge and questionnaires about financial literacy and student financial behavior that was distributed to respondents. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis, the results of this study conclude that financial knowledge and financial literacy affect the financial behavior of students of Economic Education.Key Words: Financial Knowledge, Financial Literacy And Financial Behavior

This research is a research based on a quantitative approach, thepopulation of this determination is 88 cooperative members who were selected using thesample random sampling method. The data collection technique used questionnaire . Thedata analysis used simple regression analysis. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the comparison of learning independence between Bidikmisi students and non-Bidikmisi students in the Department of Social Sciences, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau 2018/2019. The population in this study was divided into 2 groups, namely: Population in Bidikmisi students is 66 people, because the population of Bidikmisi students is less than 100 people, so it uses census sampling techniques in which all populations are sampled. The population of non-bidikmisi students is 257 people, because the population of non-Bidikmisi students is more than 100 researchers using the Slovin formula approach, so that by using the Slovin formula we can determine a sample of 72 people. The datas used are primary datas, namely through questionnaires. The study used quantitative methods and similarity test analysis of two averages / different tests. Based on descriptive analysis, student learning independence bidikmisi University of Riau Economic Education is in the high category, amounting to 26 students (39.39%) while Non Bidikmisi Student Learning Independence is in the low category, amounting to 31 students (43.05%). Based on the Independent Samples Test (Difference Test), obtained the significance value of the F test is 0.110 which means the variance or distribution of the two samples is the same or homogeneous, then the test used is Equal variances assumed. The results of the t test of significance value (2-tailed) are 0.04. Because the value is smaller than 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a difference between the learning independence of Bidikmisi students and non-Bidikmisi students.Key Words: Learning Independence and Bidikmisi

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine how interest in continuing education to tertiary institutions and what factors influence the interest in continuing education to tertiary education for students of SMK Negeri 1 Bukit Batu. This study used a quantitative descriptive method and the population in this study were students of class XI, amounting to 93 people using saturated samples. The data analysis technique used was the F test, the coefficient of determination (R2), Uji multiple linear regression. The result of this research is that ideals have an effect on the interest in continuing education to higher education, where the tcount is 4.027 ≥ ttable 1.987 and a significant value is 0.000 ≤ 0.05. The family environment has no effect on the interest in continuing education to higher education where the obtained t count is 1.747 ≤ t table 1.987 and a significant value is 0.084 ≥ 0.50. Peers have no effect on the interest in continuing education to higher education where the obtained t count is 2.109 ≤ t table 1.987 and a significant value of 0.038 ≥ 0.05. The school environment has an effect on the interest in continuing education to higher education where obtained tcount 5.069 ≥ t table 1.987 and a significant value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05. Simultaneously there is a significant influence between ideals, family environment, peers and the school environment where the obtained Fcount value 38.179 ≥ F table 2.47 and a significant value 0.000 ≤ 0.05. Multiple linear regression equation Y = -2.014 + 0.263 X1 + 0.124 X2 + 0.102 X3 + 0.417 X4. The results of the research coefficient of determination (R2) obtained a value of 0.634 or 63.4%, meaning that this indicates that the variables of ideals (X1), family environment (X2), peers (X3), school environment (X4) together provide contribution to learning outcomes was 63.4%, and the rest (36.6%) was influenced by other factors not included in the study.Key Words: Interest In Continuing Education To Tertiary Institutions, Ideals,The Family Environment, Peers, The School Environment
