Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the existence of Taman Mandi Culture in the community of Bantan Sari Village, Bengkalis Regency, in which the Taman Mandi Culture in essence reflects gratitude for the ongoing marriage and the union of husband and wife. In the Taman Mandi Culture, there are many meanings contained therein which aim to clean oneself from all the stains that have been done during adolescence, besides the efforts to pray for prayers so that the newly built ark will be eternal and happy with being blessed with pious and pious offspring. But at this time the Taman Mandi itself is very rarely preserved. The formulation of the problem in this study are How is the interest of the Malay community in preserving the Taman Mandi Culture in Bantan Sari Village, Bengkalis Regency and What factors cause the lack of interest of the Malay community in preserving Taman Mandi Culture in Bantan Sari Village, Bengkalis Regency. The objectives of this research are to Know how the interest of the Malay community in preserving Taman Mandi Culture in Bantan Sari Village, Bengkalis Regency and to Know what factors cause the lack of interest of the Malay community in preserving the Taman Mandi Culture in Bantan Sari Village, Bengkalis Regency. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. Respondents of this study were 5 people, namely 1 head of the Bantan Sari Village Traditional Malay Institution, 2 Public figure and 2 Bantan Sari Village people. The data analysis technique in this study is a qualitative method. The result of this research is that the interest in enlivening the implementation of Taman Mandi Culture is very high, but there is very little interest in holding this culture, this is due to several internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include 1. Lack of public knowledge about the Garden Bathing Culture. 2. Economic aspects of the community. 3. Time for garden bathing. 4. The role of the mak andam. Abstract

Abstract: This research investigates the ability of the second semester students of SMA Witama Nasional Plus Pekanbaru in writing a narrative text. The population of this research was the second semester students of SMA Witama Nasional Plus Pekanbaru in academic year of 2019/2020. There were 19 students who participate as the sample of this research. The students are tested using a writing test. The result of the test given was then classified into certain categories. The test results of 19 students shows that 5 students (26.32%) are in excellent category, 14 students (73.68%) are in good level. In addition, the average score of the students in writing a narrative text is 75.61. It means that the students’ ability in writing a narrative text was in the good level. Based on the tests, it can be concluded that the second semester students of SMA Witama Nasional Plus Pekanbaru already were in good ability to write a narrative text. Researcher recommended the students and other researchers to conduct similar research to get further information.Key Words: Ability, Writing, Narrative Text

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship of motivation with science learning outcomes of Grade VII students of SMP N 8 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in November 2019. This type of research is descriptive. the population in this study were all students of class VII SMP 8 Pekanbaru. While the sample in this study was 15% of VII grade students of SMP 8 Pekanbaru taken random sampling using udian. The research data were sourced from primary and secondary data, primary data were obtained from motivational questionnaires that were distributed to students while secondary dta was taken from the recapitulation of the teacher's daily test scores. Based on the results of the analysis of motivation and student learning outcomes VII grade SMPN 8 Pekabaru it can be seen that the motivation of students overall motivation refers to an average of 3.36 with a medium category. the correlation is 51% Key Words: Motivation, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and improve mathematics learning outcomes by applying the discovery learning model. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each of which consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class VII 2 SMPN 4 Mandau in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year which consisted of 18 male students and 14 female students. The data collection instruments in this study were the observation sheet and the mathematics learning result test sheet. The observation sheet was analyzed qualitatively, while the mathematics learning outcome test was analyzed quantitatively by descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that the quality of each encounter with the discovery learning model is getting better for each cycle and the percentage of the frequency of students who reach the KKM in the knowledge aspect at the basic score, PH I, and PH II respectively 37.5%, 12.5%, and 21. , 88%, as well as the percentage of the frequency of students who reached the KKM in the skills aspect of PH I and PH II, 28.13% and 56.25%, respectively. Thus the results of this study indicate that the application of the discovery learning model can improve the learning process and does not improve the mathematics learning outcomes of class VII.2 students of SMPN 4 Mandau in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 academic year on the subject matter of the set.Key Words: Mathematics Achievement, Discovery Learning Model, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract: This research in SMA Negeri 1 Benai to know the influence of Family income on student achievement of economic subjects class X academic year 2016/2017 SMA Negeri 1 Benai. The population in this study is all students of grade X SMA Negeri 1 Benai, amounting to 190 students. Sampling in this study was obtained using Area Probability Sample method of 66 students. . Technique of collecting is done through questionnaire technique and using primary and secondary. The data were analyzed by hypothesis using simple linear regression, partial test (t test), Coefficient of Determination (R2), and different test. There are 2 variables that is family income and student achievement.The results showed that family income variable effect student achievement. This means that the independent variables together affect the dependent variable. Furthermore, based on partial test (t test) it can be seen that only family income variable that affect student achievement is shown with significance 0,417 while other variable haven no effect.Keywords : Family Income, Student Achievement.

Abstract

Abstrack: Riau Province is a central for culture and tradition of proto malayan. This assumption is supported by the fact that there are a number of tribes “Komunitas Adat Tertinggal (KAT)”, such as suku Laut or Suku Akit is still living in Riau. This research aims to reveal the system of religion of community suku akit in the Selat baru village, subdistrict Bantan, district Bengkalis in 1995-2013.The method used in this research is descriptive method. The result of this research is revealed that the system of religion of suku Akit has embraced the religion of islam, Christians and Buddhism, However they still carry the tradition of ancestor animism. In addition The community of suku Akit is a plurality society, this is evident by celebrating religious holidays together. it is due to the reason that they came from ancestors who have the same beliefs that animism. Beside that, celebrating religious holidays together will create the harmony between community. In community suku akit, circumcised ceremony is a tradition that sould be done on adolescent 7 untill 12 years old.Keywords : Sytem Religious, Community, Suku Akit

Abstract: Abstract: Abstract: This research is motivated by the factors that cause changes in the tradition of silat in marriage customs in the muara lembucommunity of the singingi sub-district of Kuantan singingi district, where this silat is usually carried out in a traditional wedding but today the tradition is very rarely carried out by the estuary of the ox. The formulation of the problem in this study is "what are the factors that cause changes in the silat tradition in marriage customs in the Muara Lembu community, Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi District". This study aimed at determine the factors that cause changes in the tradition of silat in the customs of marriage in the Muara Lembu District community. Singingi Regency of Kuantan Singingi. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The respondents of this study were 7 people: 2 ninik mamak, 1 silat trainer, 2 silat players and 2 community members. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive qualitative methods. The results in this study are that there are 2 factors that cause changes in the tradition of silat in the custom of marriage in the estuary community of the cattle singing district of Kuantan singingi district, namely external factors and internal factors. External factors are the influence of other cultures and internal factors, namely: the discovery of new discoveries as well as the increase and decrease in population.Key Words: Factors That Cause Change, Silat Tradition

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted aiming to determine the level of member’s satisfaction at Employee Corporation of inti Nilo Sejahtera in Kemang Village, Pangkalan Kuras Subdistrict, Pelalawan Regency. In addition, this study was also conducted to examine the effect of service quality toward member satisfaction at Employee Corporation of inti Nilo Sejahtera. The samples of this research were 81 people; those are determined by random sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The descriptive statistic and correlation analysis applyied as data analyzed. The results of the study revealed that the level of member’s satisfaction of Employee Corporation of Inti Nilo Sejahtera categorized as low level, the service quality of Employee Corporation of Inti Nilo Sejahtera categorized as low level. Based on linear regression analysis, it is known that the significant effect between the levels of satisfaction toward service quality was 37.7%, while the other 62.3% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Key Words: Members’ satisfaction, Service quality

Abstract: Studies examined the sewing skills performed in the community empowerment program in the Village Lambang Sari IV District Lirik Regional Indragiri Hulu and empowerment there are priciples, purposes, stages and steps in performing community empowerment through sewing skill. The purpose of this study is to improve education levels, improve accessibility. To improve actions, to improve businesses and to improve people’s incomes. Public empowerment is also aimed at improving the quality of community independence by providing adaptive education such as needlepoint sewing this type of research is a deductive to a qualitative approach, a complex data collection process is conducted: by interviewing the research subjects of 1 core informant and 2 control informant with the documented. Based on the interview. The research found 3 indicators of (1) execution, (2) relevance and (3) the participation of the study off all 3 of the these indicators is helpful in understanding how the appropriate phase of process of executing is done. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to determine eye and hand coordination to service punches in playing tennis on the women's PELTI Bagansiapiapi Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This research has been carried out at PELTI Bagansiapiapi tennis court, Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency and was conducted in November 2019-February 2020, with a total sample of 12 (twelve) people. This study consists of two variables namely the independent and dependent variables. The independent variable (X) is the eye and hand coordination and as the dependent variable (Y) on the results of the tennis service Punch. From the calculation results obtained by simple correlation coefficient (R test) obtained R count = 1.877 while Rtable obtained at 0.735, so R count > R table, meaning that there is a significant relationship between Eye and Hand Coordination (X) with Service Accuracy (Y). Then Ha is accepted.Key Words: Eye and Hand Coordination, Service Punch
