Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research are for design and develop of comic as media learning for science in 8th Junior High School. The research was conducted at Study Program of Biology Education campus FKIP University of Riau from April until Juni 2015. This research used Research and Development (R&D) approach with ADDIE model. The comic have subject is Transportation System. We used validation sheet were filled by 5 validators. Then, we executed of limited trial at 10 students in 8th grade Junior High School 1 Pekanbaru with student questionnaire responses. The value of media comic validation can be seen at 5 aspects, they are simplicity, suppression, balance, integration and comic design. The result is media comic can aplication in learning activity at class Key Word : Comic, Media Learning for Science, Transportation System

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this reserch is to design, development and produce comic as media learning for science in 7th Grade Junior High School. This research was conducted at Department of Biology Education University of Riau, from April until Juni 2015. The type of this reserch is development research using Research and Development (R & D) approach with model ADDIE. The comic have subject Interaction of Living Organisms  and The Environment. Make validation test for the media comic that filled by 5 validators. And then, limited trial conducted at 10 student in 7th Grade Junior High School 1 Pekanbaru. The limited trial was used student questionnaire responses. The value of media comis validation can be seen at 5 aspect, there are simplicity, suppression, balance, integration and comic design. Abstract

Abstrak: This study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the addition of the cow rumen fluid content of organic waste in producing biogas as a handout biotechnology development in the field of animal husbandry in the high school class XII., The study was conducted in March-April 2015. This research was carried out by two phases: biogas production using experimental research and development stage handout. Experimental study was conducted using completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 4 treatments and 3 replicates in order to obtain 12 experimental design. If there is a difference between treatments meal test Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at 5%. The parameters observed biogas volume, pH, temperature and flame. The addition of the cow rumen fluid content of 250 ml best produce biogas. Where produce biogas volume as much as 447.68 cm³, pH 6, the temperature of 35ºC and produce a blue flame. Results of the study was developed as a handout that the material application of biotechnology in the field of animal husbandry. Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is a learning process and mathematics achievement are not optimal at grade IXe Junior High School 1 Salo in the first semester academic years 2014/2015.The research was classroom action research to improve outcomes students of math lesson by implementing cooperative learning model tipe think pair square. This research consist of two cycles, and at the end of every cycle carried out mathematics achievement test. Data collected through observation and mathematics achievement test. Analysis data of observation was performed with narrative descriptive analysis and analysis data of mathematics achievement was performed with descriptive statistical analysis. Result of this research showed an increase in students from the base score with the percentage with percentage 10% to 15% on the first test and 50% on second test. Results of this research indicates that the cooperative learning tipe think pair square can improve students mathematics learning outcomes at grade IXe Junior High School 1 Salo in the first semester academic years 2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract : It has conducted study that aimed to determine students 'perception toward Iqro Learning model implementation in biology subject because students’ condition still did not show a good perception towards learning biology and teachers have never implement a model that integrates biological material with a religious boarding school. This study was conducted in MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru from April to May 2015 on ecosystem subject. This research was descriptive. The population of this research was all students of class X MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru, and the samples were students of class X2 Pekanbaru MA Darul Hikmah School Year 2014/2015 which consisted of 30 female students. Parameter that used was students’ perception with five indicators, namely attention, expectations, needs, system values, and personality type. Instruments that used was enclosed questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using a calculation based on a graduated scale. The results showed that students’ perceptions of class X2 Pekanbaru MA Darul Hikmah School Year 2014/2015 against Iqro learning model' on the subjects of Biology at attention indicators categorized good with a mean of 4.4, the expectations indicator categorized good with a mean of 4.28, the indicator needs categorized excellent with a mean of 4.85, on value system of indicators categorized excellent with a mean of 5.11 and the personality type indicator categorized very well with the average of 5.44. From the results of this study concluded that students’ perception of Class X2 MA Darul Hikmah pekanbaru t toward Iqro Learning model implementation in biology subject Academic Year 2014/2015 in excellent category once since the acquisition of the overall mean score was 4.82. Abstract

Abstract:  A class action research has been done to improve motivation and learning result biology SMAN 1 Kampar with application of learning models Science Technology Society (SENT) with approaches Natural Roaming Around (JAS). This research was conducted from April to June 2015. The subjects were students of class X MIA1 semester totaling 34 students, consisting of 8 male students and 26 female students. The parameters in this study is motivation and student learning result. Student learning result include cognitive, attitude and skills. The results showed that motivation and learning result of students has increased. On learning motivation of 6.41% was obtained after at cycle I and increased to 10.56% at cycle II. The average score of students' cognitive learning results, namely 77.50 (B) at cycle I and increased to 84.71 (SB) at cycle II. Mastery learning students at cycle I is 82.35% and increased to 100% cycle II. On average students' attitudes is 3.58 predicate A- (SB) at cycle I and increased to 3.90 predicate A (SB) at cycle II. Skills such products LKPD and reports have increased at cycle I is 3.21 predicate B + (B) and increased to 3.58 predicate A- (SB) at cycle II. On average skill products has risen 3.43 predicate B + (B) at cycle I in the form of Mading three-dimensional (3D) and increased to 3.63 predicate A- (SB) at cycle II in the form of Bokashi. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of learning models Science Technology Society (SENT) with approaches Natural Roaming Around (JAS) can improve motivation and biology learning results student of class X MIA1 SMAN 1 Kampar. Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to the effectiveness sugar addition of nata de cassava quality from tapioca liquid waste on April to June 2015, for learning module development of biology on conventional biotechnology concept grade XII Senior High School. The research conducted with 2 phases namely experimental research and development of learning module. Experimental research was using non factorial completely randomized design that consist 5 treatments and 3 replicates and totally obtain 15 experimental design. It would further DMRT test if real different. The observed parameters include crude fiber content, thickness and organoleptic texture, smell, color and flavor. The result showed that sugar addition significantly influence to the crude fiber content and thickness of nata de cassava from tapioca liquid waste. The addition 15 % of sugar that can produce the best crude fiber content, thickness, texture and preference. The result of crude fiber content is 2.62% and the resulting thickness is 1.54 cm. Rate results of learning module of biology development on conventional biotechnology concept grade XII Senior High School is valid. Abstract

Abstract: Has conducted research for the development of media design Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) -based Green Pedagogy for student teachers of biology FKIP University of Riau. This study was conducted from January to June 2015. This type of research is a kind of research development (Research and Development), the procedural ADDIE development model. ADDIE development procedures are implemented, namely Analysis, Design, Development and the trial was limited. The results showed that the validation of ICT-based Learning Media Pedagogy Green to KD 1.1 to KD 1.4 total mean value validation is 3,29 (valid). For Web-based validation Pedagogy Green to KD 1.1 to KD 1.4 total mean value validation is 3,24 (valid). Based on the results of research conducted, it can be concluded that the Learning Media Green ICT-based pedagogy that has been developed as a supplement to the subject Environmental Education and alternative courses in Prodi. UR Biology category is valid and can be implemented in the learning process. Key words: Design, Media learning ICT, Pedagogy Green

Abstract

Abstract : The aim of reseach was to determine of result fermermentasi tape breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis) based time fermentationin and development LKM from result fermermentasi tape breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis) in April to June 2015. Results of the research are used for the development of LKM (Students Worksheet) on the concept of food biotechnology. This research was carried out by two phases: the field of research and development phase of LKM (Student Worksheet). Research conducted experiments using completely randomized design (CRD) non factorial, which consists of 6 treatments and 3 replicates in order to obtain 118 experimental design. If there is a real test there will be a further test DMRT 5%. The parameters observed alcohol content, water content, pH, organoleptic taste, aroma and texture. The results showed that long fermentation time a significant effect on alcohol content, water content, pH, organoleptic taste, aroma and texture tape breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis). Long fermentation time of 30 hours is a long time the best fermentation. Where produce alcohol content of 0.943%, 75.48% moisture content and pH 5.02. As for organoleptic taste, aroma and texture of the best there is in the fermentation time of 30 hours. Results of the study can be used as LKM (Students Worksheet) is the fermentation material on the concept of food biotechnology. Keywords: LKM, Food Biotechnology, Tape Breadfruit, Time Fermentation

Abstract: Tempeh is alimentary one be resulted through simple ferment tech by Rhizopus sp . All this time tempeh what do be at marketing just that gets soybean raw product. While many moke production the last years at Indonesian continually decreases and can't meet the need. Therefore, need developed tempeh's makings that utilize materials any other that appreciative its nutrient doesn't succumb good with tempeh of moke as adzuki bean, mung bean and peanut. To the effect of observational it is subject to be know good bean type deep tempeh's makings and this research result gets to be utilized for LKS SMA'S development Bioteknologi Conventional material. This research comprise of 2 phases, which is first phase, tempeh's makings whereas phase both of, LKS'S development of research result. tempeh's makings research this utilize experiment research with RAL that consisting of 4 conducts and 3 dry runs. Observational result to be gotten that conclusion is sighted from water rate content, ash rate, protein rate and fat rate and organoleptik, soybean and adzuki bean is good bean deep tempe's makings. Soybean has to titrate water 54,30%, ash rate 0,21%, protein rate 17,57% and fat rate 0,72%. Meanwhile adzuki bean has to titrate water 60,23%, ash rate 0,31%, protein rate 17,85% and fat rate 0,62%.
