Abstract

Abstract: Based of this research is the student‘s learning result in mathematics grade III SDN 112 Pekanbaru under the Mastery Minimum Criteria. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning result in mathermatics by applying the model of cooperative student Team Achievement Division (STAD). Subjects in this research were student of class 111 SDN 112 Pekanbaru that were 37 students consisting 22 boys and 15 girls. This reseatch is a class action research by two cycles. Each cycle has four phases, they were planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Research instrument which consists of learning tools, which are Syllabus, Learning Implementation Plans, and Student Worksheer. The data analysis technique utilized comsist of descriptive data analysis technique which is divided into qualitative and quantitative data analysis technique. The result from this research shows the activity of the teacher and student had performend well after has been made. An increase in the number of students who received grades of 20 and 30 as many as 26 students on first cycle and 28 students on second cycle. That is also an increase in the number of students who achieve a score of  KKM on the base. The development of the results of this research indicate that the application of the cooperative Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) can improve the learning process and improve studen’s learning resuits in the class III SDN 112 Pekanbaru  on the academic year 2014/2015. Abstract

Abstract: Detailed examination has been completed about subject reduction and oxidation in class X SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. This research aims to increase student achievement on the subject reduction and oxidation in class X SMAN 5 Pekanbaru.  This research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The samples of this research were the students of class X1 as the experimental class and  students of class X2 as  the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied  the application. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic> ttable is 5,53 > 1,67. The conclusion of examination is the application of lottery card model can improve student achievement on the subject of atomic structure class X SMAN 5 Pekanbaru, increase learning of 29,62%. Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to determine the effect of Kinetin and NAA on the growth of explants Musk lime (Citrus microcarpa) and to design learning resource for student work sheet based virtual laboratory. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Biology Education University of Riau and Laboratory Biotechnology of Riau Islamic University from April-Mei 2015, using a completely randomized design of 4 x 4 factorial with three replications. The first factor (K) is the Kinetin consists of 4 level: 0 ppm, 1 ppm, 3 ppm, and 5 ppm. The second factor (A) is the NAA consist of 4 level: 0 ppm, 0,5 ppm, 1 ppm, and 2 ppm. Parameters measured were percentage grows, time of root rise, time of bud rise, the amount of buds, amount of roots, and lengt shoot. The data were analyzed using ANAVA and tested further by DMRT at 5% level. The data were analyzed using verification by lecturer for development student work sheet . The results of this research showed of Kinetin and NAA significantly affect the growth of explants Musk Lime. The percentage of explants grown 100% all treatments, except treatment K5A0, The earliest of root rise in treatment K0A0,5 HST, The earliest of bud rise in treatment K5A0 HST, Highest amount of buds in treatment K3A2 is 2.4 buds, Highest lengt of shoot in treatment K3A0 is 7.1 buds, and the amount of roots the best treatment of K0A0,5 is 8,1 roots. Results of reserach can be used as development student work sheet based on virtual laboratory  in modern biothecnology concept for class xii senior high school. Abstract

Abstract: Has do reasearch to find effect use icebreaker for student achievement on the subject of environment pollution in class X SMA N 1 Kampar and to find what category classified increase student achievement on the subject of environment pollution in class X SMA N 1 Kampar. Form of research is a experiment design research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, X MIA 2 class as experiment class and X MIA3  class as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was treated with implementing Icebreaker and the control class was treated conventional method. Analysis of data used t-test. The results showed that Tcount > Ttable (4,06 > 1,67). It means that using Icebreaker can improve student’s achievement on the subject of environmental pollution in class X of SMAN 1 Kampar. The category improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class was  high  category  ( N-Gain = 0,83) and  in control class was  medium  category (N-Gain =0,7). Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the completeness and utilization of lab equipment and materials Biology in High School (SMA) Pekanbaru State, which was conducted in January-March 2015. This research is a descriptive study, with samples from high schools in the city of Pekanbaru. Samples taken by purposive sampling, which consists of 12 schools, namely, SMAN 1, SMAN 2, SMAN 4, SMAN 5, SMAN 6, SMAN 7, SMAN 8, SMAN 9, SMAN 10, SMAN 11, SMAN 13 and SMAN 14. completeness of data collection tools and lab materials using observation sheets and questionnaires closed for the utilization of tools and lab materials were filled by biology teacher from class XI. Data on quantitative descriptive analysis, the completeness of lab equipment and materials consist of three indicators and utilization consists of two indicators which refer to Regulation Permendiknas 24, 2007. The results showed that the completeness of tools and materials lab in SMA Pekanbaru highest mean score obtained SMAN 8 Pekanbaru 2.7 (complete). Lowest score obtained in SMA 13 Pekanbaru 1.5 (incomplete). The effectiveness and efficiency of lab equipment and materials that are in the optimal criteria (80%). Maintenance tools and lab materials are at less than optimal criteria (59.9%). It can be concluded that the completeness of tools and materials lab in SMA Pekanbaru is the complete criteria, with optimal utilization of the categori enough. Abstract

Abstract: There have been experimental studies to examine the use of oil palm fronds waste to raw material for charcoal briquettes and the results of this study can be used as an enrichment of teaching materials in the form of vocational biology modules on the subject of the utilization of waste. This study was conducted from March to June 2015. The method used in this study is an experiment using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments performed 5 times repeat the treatment given is as follows (1) Charcoal oil palm fronds non sieve (B0), (2) Charcoal midrib palm oil is refined by sieve size of 30 mesh (B1), (3) Charcoal palm fronds were mashed with a 50-mesh sieve (B2), (4) Charcoal palm fronds were smoothed with a sieve size of 70 mesh (B3). Parameter studies that measured the water content, ash content, levels of substance evaporates, the density and firmness press. Treatment with a 70 mesh sieve (B3) to be most successful for the manufacture of charcoal briquettes compared to the treatment of non sieve (B0), treatment with 30 mesh sieve (B1) and treated with a 50 mesh sieve (B2). Treatment with a 70 mesh sieve (B3) produces 8% moisture content, ash content of 8.4%, 14.8% levels of substance evaporates, the density of 0.94 g/cm3, and firmness press 61.80 g/cm3. The results could be used as an enrichment module for vocational subjects Biology Class XI. This study is expected to continue at the stage of implementation and evaluation of the ADDIE model of instructional development. Keywords: Enrichment Module, Waste Utilization, oil palm fronds, Charcoal Briquettes

Abstract

Abstrack:The research was conducted to determine the effect of bio-activator EM-4 and Boisca in the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer. This research was conducted from March to June 2015. The results are used for the development of LKM (StudentsWorksheet ) on the concept of environmental biotechnology. This study consisted of two phases: the manufacture of Liquid Organic Fertilizer and stage of development of LKM. Phase manufacture of Liquid Organic Fertilizer use research "True-Experimental Research" with completely randomized design (RAL), which consists of 4 treatments and 3 replications. While LKM refers to the development stage of research approaches Research and Development (R & D) by using ADDIE models developed from the research of liquid organic fertilizer. Parameters of this study is ratio C / N, Elements N, P and K, temperature and pH. The data obtained and analyzed statistically using analysis of variance. If significantly different continued with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at significance level of 5%. LKM development while data obtained from the validation sheet is validated by 3 validator and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the application of bio-activator EM-4 and Boisca affect the outcome of liquid organic fertilizer where the best treatment being owned by a treatment with a combination of EM-4 and Boisca. Results of the study was developed as LKM (StudentsWorksheet) is the composting material on the concept of environmental biotechnology. LKM were developed to obtain a valid category so that LKM can be used in the manufacture of compost material. Keywords: Bioactivator, liquid organic fertilizer, LKM, environmental biotechnology

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to design green pedagogy Assessment Model Green for student teachers FKIP Biology, University of Riau (UR). Assessment models used are authentic assessment and reflective assessment. The authentic assessmet consist of seven techniques, there are: paper and pencil test, attitude, performance, product, project, self-assessment and portofolio. The research was conducted at Biology Education University of Riau and the limiting test with twenty student on January until June 2015. The kind of this research is research and Development (R & D) design with ADDIE (analyze, desaign, develop, implement and evaluate) model. This research just up develop stage. Data collection instruments used were validation sheet, observation sheet, interview sheet and questionnaire. Validation sheet is value by 3 external validator. Observation sheet used to observe environment of UR. Interview was conducted directly with a field manager ESU UR. The questionnaire used to determine the feasibility and used of products have been developed. Data collected were statistically analyzed descriptively. Results of the validation on KD 1.1 is 3.25 with a valid category. Results of the validation on KD 1.2 is 3.26 with a valid category. Results of the validation on KD 1.3 is 3.24 with a valid category. Results of the validation on KD 1.4 is 3.27 with a valid category. To determine used product, then do limited testing. From result of research that has been done can be seen that the design of the green pedagogy assessment model was conducted by used ADDIE model of which is through the stage of Analyze, Design, Develop is valid and can be implemented through testing with a larger scale. Abstract

Abstract: The research was conducted to develop the module based Green Pedagogy for students candidates Biology teachers Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau. The development of module based Green Pedagogy do according Burns model that had five key dimensions, were Content, Context, Process, prespective and Ecological Design (Transformative Learning). The research was conducted in January-June 2015. This research was development (Research & Development) using ADDIE models. The research procedures includes the step of the analysis, design, development and limited testing. Data research were the observation of the campus of University of Riau-Panam, interviews with the Engineering Service Unit (ESU), validation sheet and questionnaire responses of students. Lesson module that have been developed next validated by specialists validator. Based on the results of the validation of the validator shows that the value 3.12 to 3.25 with a valid category for 10 sub-modules that have been developed. Next to see the validity, the validity and usability the lesson module based Green Pedagogy learning, the researcher did limites tested. Respondents in a limited tested were students of Biology Education in 2nd semester academic year 2015 class of 20 people. Conducts sample selection randomly. Sub module tested are sub module 8 and 9 which contains material on air. Based on the results of student responses to the lesson module based Green Pedagogy obtained value ranging from 80.00 to 83.75 for good category and grades from 85.00 to 88.75 for the very good category. The result showed that the lesson module based Green Pedagogy that have been developed are valid and can be implemented on a wider scale. Keywords: Green Pedagogy, Module, Development, Burns Model.
