Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the natural disaster of forest fires thatoccurred in the village of Salo subdistrict of Kampar District of Riau Province whichoccurred in 2019 even though there was already a (BPBD) tasked with controlling andpreventing natural disasters that occurred in Kampar district. In carrying out regionaldisaster management there are tasks that must be carried out by BPBD. Theformulation of the problem in this study is "What is the public perception of the role ofthe (BPBD) in the control of forest fires in Salo Village of Salo District of KamparRegency of Riau Province 2019". The purpose of this study is to find out the public'sperception of the role of the (BPBD) in the control of forest fires in Salo Village, SaloDistrict, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. This research method is qualitativedescriptive with data collection techniques through interviews consisting of 10questions and questionnaires consisting of 10 questions. The subjects in this study werethe entire salo village community of 2,060 heads of families. Determination ofpurposive sampling technique research sample with the number of samples as many as30 people of Salo village community. The result of this study is that public perception ofthe Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) is very good. This is seen from theresults of the spread of questionnaires with the percentage of respondents' answers,which is 82% which proves that the Role of the Derah Disaster Management Agency(BPBD) in Forest Fire Control is very important. In line with the results of interviews to30 respondents who stated that the Role of the (BPBD) in Forest Fire Control iscurrently Very Good.Key Words : Community Perception, BPBD, Forest Fires.

Abstract

Abstract: This research discussed the meaning of words formed by the profession marking suffix -shi (-師) and -fu (-婦) in Japanese. This research used a qualitative descriptive, especially a method by using morphology and the meaning of kanji. The data were collected fromthe Japanese printed dictionary, the online Japanese dictionary on the weblio.jp website, the aedict online dictionary, and Japanese language corpus on the shonagon.ninjal.ac.id website. The obtained data then processed to examine their lexical meanings. The results of analysis showed that the suffixes – shi (- 師) and – fu (-婦) as professional indicators were frequentlyassociated with vocabulary of the kango word type. The words that were connected to these suffixes had a wide range of meanings. There were also other suffixes that refering to specific fields. The suffix –shi (-師) indicated a occupation that required exceptional abilities or qualifications in a specific subject, while the suffix –fu (-婦) had a work tendency that refered to only one gender, typically women. These rules determined which suffixes were attached to particular vocabulary in Japanese.Key Words: Suffix, Kanji, Profession Marker , Japanese Semantics

Abstract

Abstact : This research was motivated by student perceptions of the character of responsibility in student organization activities at the fakulty of teacher training and education at the university of riau. Where in student institutions each university has compiled a complete character education and it is hoped that students can form intellectuals who have superior personalities. The portion of character education in higher education is in fact decreasing. There are still many problems, namely the lack of responsibility in a mandate that is carried out so that it is said that the student is in an inactive status. The formulation of the problem in this study is how are students’ perceptions of the character of responsibility in student organization activities at FKIP, Riau Universisty. The purpose of the research in this study is to determine how students perceive the character of responsibility in student organization activities at FKIP, Riau Unicersity. The benefit of this research is to add insight and description of student’ perceptions of the character of responsibility in student organization activities at FKIP, Riau University. This research method is descriptive quantitative, the data collection instrument used in this research is a questionnaire consisting of 8 sub indicators with 18 statement. The population in this study were active students FKIP, amounting to 4.811 people. The sampel in this study was taken using the Non Probality Sampling teachnique, more precisely the quota sampling technique of 160 people. Based on the results of the study, it can be conluded that overall the data regarding the “160 student’ perceptions of the character of responsibility in student organization activities at FKIP, Riau University” is in the “very good” category. Respondent answered strongly agree (SS) plus Agree (s) namely 42,5% + 35% = 77,5%, this is in the range of 75.01% - 100%. Thus, it can be concluded that the interest of 160 samples of FKIP University of Riau at the “Very Good” level.Key Words: Analysis, Perception, student, character, responsibility, student organizations

Abstract: This study aims to determine the potential of the poster design in highschool Biologi learning class X material on bacteria. This research was conductedat theBinawidya Riau University in Desember2020–Januari 2021. This research wasconducted in 2 stages: the experimental stage and the second stage is Poster Designthat is analysis of the potential development of learning media for high school biologiclass X Bcteria material. The study used an experimental method of descriptivequalitative research design. Based on the potential analysis it was found thatoptimization of nutrient ratio for he growth of Bacillus cereus Strain IMB-11bacteriacan be used as a learning media poster design for class X high schoolbacteria material 3.5KD.Key Words: Poster, Bacteria, Hidrocarbonoclastic.

Abstract

Abstract: Japanese Languange Proficiency Test (JLPT) is a test held to measure Japanese language skills. This study aims to find out how the use of learning strategies according to Oxford (1990) by students who have passed JLPT N3. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The study was conducted by conducting interviews with data sources. The data sources in this study were 7 students of class 2017 and 1 student of class 2018 Japanese language education study program Riau University. The results of this study indicate that students who have passed JLPT N3 use learning strategies according to Oxford (1990) in various ways in each strategyKey Words: JLPT, Learning Strategies, Oxford.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to find out whether or not there is significant effect of PENS strategy on students’ ability at SMP IT Madani Pekanbaru in Writing. The research design is a pre-experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample was all of students VIII. In order to collect the data, the pre-test and post-test were administered and then the data were statistically analyzed by using the t-test formula. The result showed that the mean score of post-test was higher than mean score of pre-test (67.61 > 59.68). The value of t-test was 11.360 while the value of t-table in significance level 5% df = 34 was 2.032. Since the value of the t-test was higher than t-table, it can be concluded that Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and Null Hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It means that there was significant effect of PENS strategy on students’ ability in writing at SMP IT Madani Pekanbaru.Key Words: Effect, PENS strategy, Writing Ability

Abstract: The level of student satisfaction is a student's positive attitude towards educational services in higher education because there is a match between the expectations of the service compared to the reality it receives. This study discusses how the level of student satisfaction in distance learning in the Hyouki course. The purpose of this study was to explain the level of student satisfaction in distance learning for the Hyouki course. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. quantitative descriptive is a type of research used to analyze data by describing or describing the data that has been collected as it is. Abstract

Abstract: The Malay Kingdom of Riau Lingga is an Islamic kingdom located in the Riau Archipelago which was originally a territory including Johor, Pahang, this kingdom was formed based on the agreement of the United Kingdom (UK) and the Netherlands in 1824 with Sultan Abdurrahman Muazzamsyah as the first sultan of the Riau Lingga Kingdom. Then this is where the role of Yang Dipertuan Muda Riau began to participate in the government of the Kingdom of Riau Lingga as a representative of the sultan or Yang Dipertuan Besar of the kingdom. The purposes of this study are 1) To find out a brief history of the Riau-Lingga Malay Kingdom, 2) To find out how the process of revitalizing Raja Ja'far into YDPM VI, 3) To find out the role of King Ja'far in the politics of the Riau Lingga Kingdom in 1806- 1832, 4) To find out the role of the Bugis in the Riau Lingga Kingdom. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach method. The research location is in Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands. The results showed the role of Raja Ja'far YDPM VI in the politics of the Riau Lingga Kingdom.Key Words: History, Riau Lingga Kingdom

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the potential of the Booklet design in high school learning on bacterial material for class X. This research was conducted at the Binawidya Campus, Riau University in December 2020 - January 2021. This study was carried out with the ADDIE design, namely the analysis and design stages. Booklet design in the form of an analysis of the potential development of learning media for high school bacteria material class X Semester I. The research uses an experimental method with a quantitative descriptive type of research. Based on the potential analysis, it was found that the bacteria Bacillus cereus strain IMB-11 has the ability to biodegrader against used lubricating oil, which can be used as a booklet design for class X bacteria in SMA KD 3.5 and KD 4.5.Key Words: Booklet, Bacteria Material.

Abstract

Abstract: Twitter is one of the largest social media services in the world. The research are purposes to analyzing the formation of wakamono kotoba on social media Twitter with the aim of knowing the types of word formation used. This researchment used Tsujimura's theory of word formation, which is divided into 5 types. The data was analyzed for collecting the secondary, this is because to describe how to do formatting the words. In this research founded that the formation of a wakamono kotoba is not limited to only one type of word formation, but can go through two to three different types of word formation. In this research are found the most frequent tend of word formation in the clipping type.Key Words: Wakamono Kotoba, Social Media, Word Formation
