Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the quality of summative test that wasconducted by the teacher at the eleventh grade of SMA Nurul Pekanbaru and wasconstructed as descriptive quantitative research. The sample consisted of 53 students inthe second semester of the academic year 2020/2021 and was selected by using totalsampling with the lottery method. Furthermore, the instrument of English final test thatconstructed in the form of 40 multiple choice questions was firstly identified andgrouped based on the classification of each domain of cognitive dimension according toBloom’s taxonomy revision that contained two levels namely HOTS (High OrderThinking Skills) and LOTS (Low Order Thinking Skills). Then, all students’ answerswere analyzed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 25for windows to analyze the validity and reliability of the test. The result showed that thetest questions just obtained 50% of applying (C3), 27.5% of understanding (C2), and22.5% of remembering (C1) of LOTS levels whereas HOTS levels (analyzing,evaluating, and creating) weren’t even found. Furthermore, its reliability quotient wasjust 0.729 (lower than 1.00) with 3 (8%) items categorized as invalid questions, and thevalid items of 37 (92%) questions were predominantly classified in low interpretation.This research clearly showed that the test didn’t fulfill the qualification of a good test.Key Words: Validity, Reliability, Cognitive, Educational Taxonomies, Summative Test

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to find out the correlation between reading habits of the third year English Study Program Students of Universitas Riau and their writing ability. The sample of this research was one of three classes of the third year students of the English Study Program that were chosen by using cluster random sampling technique. The population of this research was 36 students. There were two variables of data that were collected in this research: reading habits and writing ability. The reading habits data were gained by using a questionnaire and the writing ability data were collected from a writing test. The results revealed that the reading habits of the population was on ‘high’ level and their writing ability is classified as a good level. The results also showed that there is a significant correlation between reading habits and their writing ability. In conclusion, reading habits of students has a significant influence on students’ ability in writing.Key Words: Correlation, Reading Habits, Writing Ability

Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the outbreak of pandemic cases caused by the Corona virus in Indonesia which resulted in learning activities that were usually carried out in schools now being carried out online from home. This research examines the comparison of learning motivation online between male and female students in civic education lessons at public Senior High School 1 Karimun. The formulation of the problem in this research is "Is there a comparison of learning motivation online between male and female students in civic education lessons at public Senior High School 1 Karimun?". To find out the comparison of online learning motivation between male and female students in civic lessons at public Senior High School 1 Karimun is the purpose of this research. This research was carried out at public Senior High School 1 Karimun from July 2021 to September 2021. This research is quantitative descriptive with a population of male and female students in class X majoring in science and social studies at Senior High School 1 Karimun as many as 313 people consisting of 143 male students. and 170 women. The sampling technique is using the method Nonprobability Sampling and the Quota Sampling technique to determine the number of samples using the Yamane formula so that the number of samples is 122 respondents, 59 male students and 63 female students. Data collection instruments are primary data and secondary data obtained through libraries and documentation. The data analysis technique used the analysis Independent Sample T-test with the help of the SPSS version 25 program. Based on the results of the study it was found that there was a comparison of learning motivation online between male and female students in class X majoring in science and social studies in civic lessons at public Senior High School 1 Karimun. It is proven by the results of the calculation with the analysis test Independent Sample T-test where the result of the test is 0.024 and the value is 0.024 < 0.05 (sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05), then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a comparison of learning motivation online between male and female students in class X majoring in science and social studies in civic education lessons at public Senior High School 1 Karimun.Key Words: : Online Learning Motivation, Comparison, Students, Male, Female

Abstract

Abstract: From the observations of researchers in the field at the South Lipat Kain men's volleyball club, there are several weaknesses that appear along with the occurrence of players in training and in volleyball matches, namely there are still many leg muscle deficiencies when jumping. This can be seen when doing a smash or block. So that the South Lipat Kain men's volleyball club often loses during matches. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of incremental vertical hop exercise on leg muscle explosive power in the South Lipat Kain men's volleyball club. The population in this study amounted to 20 people using total sampling, so the sample amounted to 20 people. The instrument in this research is the vertical jump test. The data obtained were analyzed using t-test. Based on the t-test, it produces a T-count of 9,24 with a T-table of 1.792, so it is accepted, at an alpha level of 0.05. Abstract

Abstract: The education system oriented to the 2013 Curriculum places more emphasis on student activity (student center) which is oriented towards attitudes and skills. In addition, student activity is still low, the delivery of material in one direction results in the lack of training in students' science process skills, and there are some learning materials that are abstract in nature, which are difficult to understand, resulting in difficulties in understanding physics learning. So that research is carried out on the development of scientific approach-oriented learning tools on the material of the XII SMA class Magnetic Field. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) using a 4D model which is carried out only up to the development stage. The types of data to be obtained in this study are quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data is in the form of validity values from learning tools, and qualitative data is obtained from criticism and suggestions from validators. The data collection instrument used is in the form of a learning device validation sheet. The data were analyzed descriptively to determine the validity of the learning device. The results showed that the validity of the learning device as a whole obtained a valid category, so that it was declared worthy of use in learning. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the guidance of healthy living by parents, identify and analyze the factors that are constraints by parents and to determine the efforts made by parents in overcoming obstacles in providing healthy life guidance to children during the Covid-19 pandemic Pramuka Residence in Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City. The population in this study were the parents of the students at Pramuka Housing, Rumbai District. In determining the sample, the authors used purposive sampling technique. The sample used in this study is a housewife who lives in Pramuka Housing, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City. The type of data used is primary data in the form of interviews and direct observations in the field, while secondary data comes from documentation and literature study. The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive method that aims to provide a description of a particular symptom or phenomenon. The results showed that the guidance of healthy living by parents during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Pramuka Housing, Rumbai district, Pekanbaru City was carried out through direct communication accompanied by examples of direct actions from parents to children, but not all parents took it seriously.Key Words: Guidance, Healthy Living, Parents, Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze students' perceptions of the discussion method in learning Japanese at SMK Tigama Pekanbaru. The method used is quantitative description. This research took place at SMK Tigama Pekanbaru. The number of research respondents in this study were students of class X hospitality, which amounted to 12 people and class XII, which amounted to 31 people, which means the total number of samples was 43 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire technique. The data analysis technique is a descriptive analysis technique or with a percentage. The results of the analysis obtained 4 (four) answer indicators. First, it was analyzed from the interest indicator with an average perception score = 16.64 into the very positive category as many as 12 respondents (32%). Second, analyzed from the attention indicator with an average perception score = 13.48 into the positive category as many as 12 respondents (32%). Third, analyzed from the object indicator with an average perception score = 16.67 into the very positive category as many as 13 respondents (35%). Fourth, analyzed from environmental indicators with an average perception score = 15.32, 15 respondents (41%).Key Words: Perception , Discussion Method, Japanese Language Learning,SMK Tigama Pekanbaru

Abstract

Abstract: The type of team games tournament cooperative model learning device usingsnakes and ladders game on solar system material is a learning device in the form oflesson plans, LKPD and Formative Tests combined with the type of team gamestournament cooperative model using snakes and ladders game. These study aims are todevelop learning tools as well as determine the validity of these learning devices. Thelearning devices developed are expected to be media for teachers to convey solarsystem material easily, to make students understood solar system material easily, and toimprove the science learning process in junior high school. The development researchmodel used is the 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, andDisseminate). The research was carried out only until the development stage. Theinstrument used in this study was a validation sheet filled out by 3 validators. Validationresults of the learning devices obtained are valid in the high category with a score of3.25. Therefore, the learning devices developed are suitable for use as learning tools inschools. These learning devices are recommended for teachers. Other research relatedto implementation and development through android applications is still needed.Keywords: Learning Devices, Team Games Tournament Type Cooperative Model.

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is that students are less active in doing Physical Education learning movements, the movements that are performed are usually passive, this is because the diet in children is usually difficult for children to eat or do not want to eat at all if they want to go to school. The aim of this research was to determine the contribution of nutritional status and motor skills to the physical fitness of grade 4 students of SD Negeri 06 Belutu. The population in this research consisted of group 4 students, which equates to 30 people. The sampling technique was targeted sampling. Based on the correlation test to determine the relationship between the variables studied, the first hypothesis of the performed statistical analysis obtained r count of 0.852 and r table of 0.575, so r count> r table. This means that there is a link between nutritional status and physical fitness and that it contributes 72.59%. In the second hypothesis it is obtained that r count is 0.653 and r table is 0.575, so r count <r table there is a relationship between motor skills and physical fitness and contributes 42.63%. In the third hypothesis of the performed statistical analysis, it is obtained that the R count is 0.994 and the r table at the level of α = 0.05 is 0.575, so r count> r table. This means that there is a link between nutritional status and motor skills together on physical fitness and it contributes 98.80%.Key Words: Nutritional Status, Motor Skills, Physical Fitness

Abstract

Abstract: Kuala Terusan village is located on the banks of the Kampar river, Pangkalan Kerinci sub-district, Pelalawan district and is inhabited by 115 families who work as traditional fishermen as the main income with simple fishing gear, so their economic level is still below the poverty line. The number of health and education facilities is also a factor in changing the village economy. The research objectives: (1) To determine the educational condition of the fishing community after the formation of the Pelalawan Regency government. (2) This is to determine the health condition of the fishermen community after the formation of the Pelalawan Regency government. (3) This is to determine the working conditions of the fishing community after the formation of the Pelalawan Regency government. (4) This is to determine the condition of the income of the fishermen family of the fishermen community after the formation of the Pelalawan Regency government. The method used in this research is qualitative research methods. The results of the research: Traditional Fishermen in Kuala Terusan Village are classified as below, this is due to the lack of supporting factors such as the lack of education, health and access facilities in Kuala Terusan Village. So that it hinders the economic changes of the fishing community, the socio-economic changes after the formation of the Pelalawan Regency government, namely the opening of access to the village make it easier for the fishing community to expand the place to sell their catch and the community can also access education and health facilities that do not exist in the village.
