Abstract

Abstract: Research on the Quality of Electronic - Student Worksheets (E-LKPD) based on android aims to determine the quality of products in the form of Electronic - Student Worksheets which are used as media for teaching materials that can assist students in developing short stories texts. That way, students tend to have no difficulty in the learning process of short story writing skills. This android-based E-LKPD can also help teachers to measure the ability of students in writing short stories with interesting and latest learning media. This research is research and development (R&D). The data analysis technique used is quantitative description. The results showed that the Electronic-Student Worksheet writing android-based short stories was appropriate to be used as a companion to teaching materials. The validation results from media experts stated that E-LKPD writing short stories based on android was feasible to use with a percentage of 88.3%, while from linguists it reached a feasibility with a percentage of 88.6%. The feasibility test of field experts got a percentage of 93.3% and the trial on class XI students of SMAN 1 Bangkinang was obtained with a percentage of 88.5%.Key Word: Quality,E-LKPD,Writing Short Stories

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by phenomena that arise based on observations on learning period using online and offline systems which is social media is used as learning medium. This regarding because many students are access social media in the school environment. So that the time that should be used for learning is only used to play social media, imitating bad morals, delaying study time, lazy to do activities, this causes learning outcomes being decrease. Based on pre-research results, the research shows that students play social media for about ± 20 hours even up to 24 hours / day because social media has become a necessity in everyday life. This study aims to determine The influence of Social Media on the Learning Outcomes of Seventh Grade Students at MTS Negeri 1 Kuantan Singingi. With a sample of 40 students. This research method uses quantitative descriptive analysis, the data is analyzed using simple linear regression. Based on the results of research on The influence of Social Media on the Learning Outcomes of Seventh Grade Students at MTS Negeri 1 Kuantan Singingi, it can be concluded that: There is a significant influence between social media and learning outcomes. So the hypothesis in this study is accepted, based on the coefficient of determination test (R square) of 0.374, which implies that the influence of the independent variable (social media) on the dependent variable (learning outcomes) is 61.2%.Key Words: Influence, Social Media, Students, And Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the difficulties of students in understanding basic level dokkai texts. The purpose of this study was to determine the difficulties experienced by students in understanding basic level dokkai texts. The method used in this research is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 28 students of the 2020 class of Japanese language education FKIP Riau University. The results of this study indicate that students have difficulty in understanding basic level dokkai texts. In general, students experience difficulties in all indicators, namely grammatical competence, sociolinguistic competence, discourse competence and strategic competence. In particular, students have difficulty in grammatical and discourse competence. Grammatical and discourse competencies have an important role in understanding dokkai texts. In grammatical competence there are letters, vocabulary and sentence patterns that must be mastered, while discourse competence is the relationship between one sentence and another.Key Words: Difficulty, basic level dokkai text, Japanese language education.

Abstract

Abstract: Google Form is a system in the form of form templates that can be used for the purpose of obtaining user information. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of effectiveness of using Google Forms in Japanese online exams during the Covid-19 pandemic. Online exams are one of the alternatives used during the pandemic to avoid transmission of the corona virus. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method to describe the level of effectiveness of the use of the Google Form application in the implementation of the Online exam at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. Sources of research data or respondents were 31 students of class 12 social studies 1 SMAN 9 Pekanbaru who took Japanese lessons and 3 teachers of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru who taught Japanese. From the results of the research analysis of the effectiveness of Google Forms in the Japanese online exam at SMAN 9 Pekanbaru, the average value of all aspects is 80% with the effective category.Key Words: Google Form, Online Exam,Covid-19

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is that there are obstacles in the availability of public schools that are not evenly distributed, but the zoning rules require students to register at the school closest to their homes. The unequal number of state schools is exacerbated by the unbalanced ratio of the capacity of secondary schools to graduates from primary schools. Implementation of the New Student Admission system at the high school level in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. In the 2020/2021 Academic Year, registration has been implemented through 4 main channels, namely zoning, affirmation, transfer of parents/guardians and achievement, which slightly differed in New Student Admissions in previous years. As for the formulation of the problem in this study How is the Implementation of the Registration Path Permendikbud No. 44 of 2019 concerning Admission of New Students to Senior High Schools in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Registration Path for the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 44 of 2019 concerning PPDB at the High School Level in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study amounted to 975 people, using a purposive sampling technique totaling 181 people. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Implementation of the Registration Track for the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 44 of 2019 concerning Admission of New Students at the High School Level in the Tampan District of Pekanbaru City can be said to have been "well implemented”Key Words: New Student Admission

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to determine the effect of E-learning on the learning motivation of economic education students at the University of Riau. The population of this study were all active students of economic education at the University of Riau with a total population of 338 students. The sampling technique used was stratified random sampling, which resulted in a sample of 78 students. This research is a quantitative research with a quantitative descriptive approach. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed that there was a significant and positive effect between E-learning on the learning motivation of students of economic education at the University of Riau, as evidenced by the probability value <0.05 (0.000<0.05), then Ha was accepted. The results showed that E-learning had an effect of 45% on the learning motivation of students of economic education at the University of Riau.Keywords : E-learning, covid-19, Motivation to Learn.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes for Physical Education, Sports and Health, for class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample in this study was 34 students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. The results of the study of the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes of physical education, sports and health of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu during the Covid-19 pandemic together there was a significant relationship. This can be seen with a significant value of 0.683 > 0.339 at the significant level (5%). This shows that the value of the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes for physical education, sports and health of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu during the Covid-19 pandemic is at the level of a "strong" relationship. Thus it can be concluded that students who have high learning motivation have a greater chance of obtaining better learning achievement than students who have low learning motivation.Key Words: Learning Motivation, Learning Outcomes, Covid 19 Pandemic

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of using digital learning media based on google classroom in increasing student interest in learning economics at SMA Negeri 1 Hulu Kuantan. The population in this study were all students of class XI at Sma Negeri 1 Hulu Kuantan, as many as 60 people. The sampling technique is by random sampling. This research uses quantitative methods with experimental research models. Researchers use this method in order to know the level of effectiveness of the google classroom learning media in increasing student interest in learning. The design used in this study was the pretest posttest control group design or the pretest posttest control group design, namely in this design there were two groups, each of which was chosen randomly. The results showed that there were differences in the average learning outcomes of the Experiment class and the Control class. This proves that the use of google classroom digital learning media is effective in increasing students' interest in learning economics at SMAN 1 Hulu Kuantan.Keywords: Digital Learning Media, Google Classroom, Learning Interest.

Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research is the comparison of learning outcomes between male and female students in the fifth grade of elementary school mathematics. The purpose of this study was to determine how the mathematics learning outcomes between male and female students and to find out whether there was a significant difference in mathematics learning outcomes between male and female students in fifth grade elementary school. This research is a comparative study with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SD Negeri 35 Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used a saturated sample for men with a total of 20 people for women 20 people with a total sample of 40 students. The data collection used is in the form of tests that have been done by students. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with statistical techniques t (t test). The results of the descriptive research show that the average score of male students is 77.50 while the average score of female students is 82.75. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test obtained the value of Sig(2-tailed) > or ( 0.316 > 005 ). This shows that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, so there is no significant difference in mathematics learning outcomes between male and female students in fifth grade at SD Negeri 35 Pekanbaru.Key Words: Learning Outcomes, Mathematich, Gender

Abstract

Abstract: Learning a foreign language is not an easy task to do including Japanese language. Kanji as one of the letters in Japanese find difficult to learn by the Japanese language learners. The difficulties include the memorizing, writing, and so forth. To facilitate the learning process, a learning media is needed in supporting the better understanding of the learners. This study explores a media called Quizlet and its purpose is exploring students’ responses toward Quizlet as a media to learn Kanji. This study use descriptive quantitative method with 32 students batch 2019 from Japanese Language Education Department in Universitas Riau as the respondents and the data is collected through a close-ended questionnaire. The result found that 48% students agree and 38% students strongly agree which show that the students approve the use of Quizlet as a media to learn Kanji. Therefore, Quizlet can be used as the learning media for Kanji in the future since it facilitates the students in their learning process of KanjiKey Words: Response, Quizlet, Kanji, Learning media
