Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to describe the effect of using poster media on students’ learning motivation and to find out the differences in learning motivation between experimental class students and contol class students. The methode used in this research is quasi-experiment by using Nonquivalent Control Group Design. The subject in this research were seventh grade students of SMPN 4 Tambang which consisted of 60 students and were divided into two classes, they were experimental class and control class. The research instrument used was the ARCS motivation questionnaire. This research was implemented on odd semester 2021/2022. The data in this research are scores of learning motivation before and after applying poster learning media which was analyzed descriptively and inferentially. Descriptively, the data was analyzed by normalizing gain (N-gain) to see the increasing of learning motivation of students. Inferentially, the data was analyzed by using independent sample t-test to see the difference of student’s learning motivation. The result of this research showed that the increasing of students learning motivation at experimental class is in the middle category with N-gain 0,43. While the control class is in the low category with N-gain 0,27. Inferentially showed that there was a difference It can be concluded that there is a differences of a learning motivation between group using a poster learning media and the group without poster medi. So it can be conclude that the poster media is worth to be used in order to increas student’s learning motivation in class VII SMPN 4 Tamabang on temperature and heat material.Key Words: Poster Media, Learning Motivation, Temperature and Heat

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to produce an electronic Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on Science Literacy in High Quality Class X High School Ecosystem Materials. The research was carried out at the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP UNRI, a zoom meeting platform and at school for SMA Negeri 2 Pekanbaru students from July to November 2021. The subject of this research was KD 3.9 ecosystem material for class X SMA. The type of research used is the ADDIE Research and Development model. The instrument used is a validation sheet. The validation sheet consists of 3 aspects, namely the design aspect, the pedagogic aspect and the content feasibility aspect. The results of the validation of the electronic LKPD based on Science Literacy on Ecosystem Materials for Class X SMA shows that the electronic LKPD that has been developed is in the very valid category with an overall average score of 3.40. The three aspects include design aspects with an average of 3.55, pedagogic aspects with an average of 3.26, aspects of content feasibility with an average of 3.39. The aspect that gets the highest score is the design aspect with an average score of 3.55 which is in the very valid category. The results of the trial phase I obtained an average score of 3.64 and the results of the trial phase II obtained an average score of 3.82 with a very good category. The results showed that the electronic LKPD that was developed was good and suitable to be used as a learning reference in schools as well as a source of independent learning to increase students' knowledge and understanding of ecosystem materials in facilitating students to build their own knowledge.Key Words: Electronic Student Worksheet, Science Literacy, Ecosystem.

Abstract

Abstract:This research is motivated by the lack of student’s interest in participating in student organizations, through research conducted on students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), most students think that organizing will only add to the routine that makes students less than optimal in carrying out the obligations of the learning process in the classroom, even though departing from this, student organizations are a forum that is able to grow a credible character through positive activities carried out by student organizations so as to form a bright, competent generation, to build the nation in the future. Formulation of the problem in this research is about the factors that influence student interest in joining the student executive board organization at FKIP Universitas Riau. The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that influence student interest in joining the student executive board organization at FKIP Universitas Riau. The sample in this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The data collection instrument used in this study is a questionnaire consisting of 2 indicators with 14 questions, which will then be analyzed using the percentage analysis technique method. . From the results of the study, it can be seen that external and internal factors that influence FKIP students in joining the Student Executive Board organization at FKIP Universitas Riau,It can be concluded that the answer strongly agrees with the percentage of 39.4% plus the answer agrees with an average percentage of 52.65% totaling 92.05%, according to the benchmark it is in the range of 75.01% - 100%. So the factors that influence the interest of FKIP students in participating in the Student Executive Board organization at FKIP Universitas Riau can be said to be "Very High"Key Words: Interests, Students, Student Organizations.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discussed error analysis on the comprehension of „kamoshirenai‟ and „darou‟ in Japanese Literature Study student batch 2018 in Riau University. The objective of this study is to examine the understanding of „kamoshirenai‟ and „darou‟ among students, as well as to detect the causal factor of its error in the comprehension of „kamoshirenai‟ and „darou‟. This research uses descriptive-quantitative as the basis for its method. Data collection was obtained by giving online questionnaires and quiz tests. The result indicates there are some errors in the etymology and context of „kamoshirenai‟ and „darou‟. Etymology error include the error in the adjective of „na-keiyoushi‟, „i-keiyoushi‟, verb, and noun. Meanwhile, error in the context includes sentences, adverbial, figurative impression and appropriation, possibility, and confirmation context. The causal factor on this comprehension of „kamoshirenai‟ and „darou‟ are specified into internal and external factors.Key Words: Error Analysis, „Kamoshirenai‟, „Darou‟, Japanese Modalities.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was motivated by the role of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Kuantan Singingi Regency in promoting voter education during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Regional Head Election 2020. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the voter education method was carried out by the KPU in the 2020 Pilkada during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kuantan Singingi Regency, as well as what obstacles were experienced by the general election commission in disseminating voter education during the COVID-19 pandemic in the district of Kuantan Singingi. The purpose of this study was to find out what methods were used by the KPU in disseminating voter education in the 2020 elections during the COVID-19 pandemic in Kuantan Singingi Regency and to find out what the obstacles were for the KPU in Kuantan Singingi Regency in disseminating voter education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, documentation, and literature. The informants in this study consisted of six people, namely KPU officers from Kuantan Singingi Regency, three (3) people, and the community of three (3) people. The technique of data analysis in this study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The findings in this study explained several methods that were considered effective, such as utilizing social networks, using banners or billboards, and mobile cars. The obstacles experienced by the KPU in socializing voter education, which are considered quite serious, are geographical factors, the COVID-19 pandemic factor, the change in schedule factor, the budget factor. Abstract

Abstract: This research is a qualitative research method regarding theassessment of Bokutachi Chikyuujin as an opening song of Doraemon animation. Thepurpose of the study is to explain and find out how to objectively assess the translationof Bokutachi Chikyuujin song from Doraemon animation and find out how well thetranslations of the song is based on Newmark's assessment. According to Newmark, theassessment of translation is divided into four categories, including: 1) translation as ascience; 2) translation as a craft; 3) translation as art; and translation as taste. It wasfound that the translation category for the song Bokutachi Chikyuujin’s translation’sscore is 66.5, which went to the translation category B ( good).Key Words: song, translation, assessment.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses about the song lyrics that containt conceptual metaphore from soundtrack of animation called “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood”. Every singer has a variety of language style of their song lyrics to make it more interesting to hear, like metaphore. In this study, we will discuss about the song lyrics that containt conceptual metaphore from soundtrack of animation called “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood”. The data from this study is the song lyrics from anime soundtrack “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood” that has conceptual metaphore. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The source of data from this research is 10 types of songs from soundtrack of animation called “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood”. There is 4 types of conceptual metaphore found in anime soundtrack of “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood”, its structural metaphore, orientasional metaphore, ontological metahpore and personification ontologikal metaphore. Every conceptual metaphor also have their source domain which is the metaphore it self, and target domain as a meaning of the source domain. The results of the analysis of conceptual metahpore that reveal a few types of meaning, like leksical meaning, and conceptual meaning. There also reveal a few types image schemas from the mentioned conceptual metaphor, like force schemas, identity schemas, existence schemas, containtment schemas, and space schemas. Every conceptual meaning has a connection to their image schemas, for example space image schemas have a conceptual meaning like, „emptiness‟, „increasing‟, and „closeness‟.Key Words: Conceptual metaphore, Song lyric, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is the poor physical condition of struggling athletes due to the low training volume, so that they always experience a decrease in physical and technical conditions in competition. The aim of this research was to determine the level of physical fitness of the PPLP Dispora Riau wrestling athletes. The subjects of this research were 6 PPLP Dispora Riau wrestling athletes. This research method uses a research method that must come from field observations through tests. The instruments used are multi-stage fitness test, sit and reach, run 30 meters, run back and forth, hind leg dynamometer. The results of the research (1) Endurance athletes average 72.54 ml/kg/min. (2) arm and shoulder muscle strength averaged 107.08 kg/second. (3) The average amplification rate is 5.386/sec. (4) Flexibility gets 20.85 cm. (5) Agility gets an average of 10.51 seconds. From the recap results of the calculation of the five components of the physical condition of struggling athletes, it was found that 5 athletes consisting of 4 males and 1 female or 83.33% received good categories. Thus, the results of this survey show that the physical condition of the PPLP Dispora Riau wrestling athletes is all in a very good condition.Key Words: Physical fitness, Wrestling

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the spread of covid-19 which has an impact on various aspects of life including the field of education. Online learning has both positive and negative impacts in the learning process. Ineffective online learning will cause students to tend to be lazy and forget about their learning responsibilities. In the context of education, learning responsibilities have a very important role in efforts to improve the effectiveness of online learning. In this study researchers examined the comparison of the character of student responsibility in online learning of PKn subjects between male and female students at Al Huda Pekanbaru High School. The method used in this study was a comparative and quantitative method. The population in this study was all students of class XII majoring in IPA and IPS at Al Huda Pekanbaru High School as many as 81 students, consisting of 29 male students and 52 female students. Sampling methods use sampling quota techniques. The sample taken in this study was 58 students. It consists of 29 men students and 29 female students. The data collection technique used in this study is to use observations and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this study is to use statistical tests. The statistical test result was to compare two data groups namely male and female students with a result of 0.017 and a score of 0.017 < 0.05 (2-tailed < 0.05), then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It can be concluded that there is a difference in the character of responsibility in online learning of PKn subjects between male and female students at Al Huda Pekanbaru High School.Key Words: Comparison, Responsibility Character, Online Learning, Students.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the teacher's perception of PJOK in learning PJOK online at SMA Negeri Mandau Duri District. Based on the results of the research, it shows that (1) PJOK teacher perceptions in online PJOK learning on student motivation in implementing physical education learning at SMA Negeri Mandau Duri District, that there are 13 (81%) students who are in good criteria. (2) Teacher's Perception of PJOK In online PJOK learning on the ability of teachers in implementing physical education learning at SMA Negeri Mandau Duri District, that there are 10 (63%) students who are in the Enough criteria. (3) Teacher's Perception of PJOK In online learning of PJOK at SMA Negeri Mandau Duri District on the completeness of facilities and infrastructure there are 9 (56%) students who are in good criteria. Thus the perception of PJOK teachers in online PJOK learning at SMA Negeri Mandau Duri District is seen from the overall data of sub-variables consisting of, a). Motivation, b). Orchestra Physical Education teacher, c). Facilities and infrastructure can be said to be quite good, with a percentage (81%) and (56%) these results mean that the perception of PJOK teachers in online PJOK learning at SMA Negeri Mandau Duri District has been able to run well.Key Words: Teacher Perception, PJOK Online Learning
