Abstract

Abstract: The thesis is a very important aspect. This work is not only a marker ofsomeone's eligibility to obtain a bachelor's degree. To complete a thesis, students must go through a long process that galvanizes them in various aspects, both intellectual, mental, social and spiritual. During this process, many things will shape and perfect the students' personal qualities, so that they deserve to be called graduates. In reality, many students experience difficulties in completing their theses, which often results in completing their studies beyond the normal time limit for obtaining a bachelor's degree, which is more than four years. This research problem was caused by several factors, one of which was feeling lazy about doing the final assignment, lack of communication with the relevant lecturer, and fear of meeting the relevant lecturer about completing the final assignment. This type of research is included in research with a qualitative approach, because the form of data is in the form of verbal and descriptive information about an object being studied. Presentation of qualitative data is usually conveyed in the form of descriptions, explanations and interpretations of a phenomenon that is the object of research. This research is also descriptive research carried out to describe or describe the research object in its actual situation without any intention of drawing conclusions. The results of the research revealed that the constraint indicator for final year students had an achievement indicator of 66.14% in the good category, while the development indicator for final year students had an achievement indicator of 68.74% in the good category. The average achievement of each indicator is 67.44%, which explains that the difficulties of students in the Physical Education study program at the University of Riau Class of 2017 in completing their thesis are in the good category.Key Words: Student, Physical Education, Final Project, University of Riau.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine the perceptions of schoolprincipals regarding PJOK learning at the MTS/SMP level in Kampar District. Thisresearch is quantitative descriptive research which provides an overview of the objectbeing studied. This research was conducted by researchers at MTS/SMP in KamparDistrict, 27 May - 31 May 2024. The researcher used two questionnaire tables, namelythe table with the Facilities and Infrastructure indicator containing 12 statements thatthe researcher had made and the table with the PJOK learning process indicator whichcontained 21 statements that have been made by researchers. Based on the researchresults, the conclusion obtained in this research is: School Principals' Perceptions ofPJOK Learning at the MTS/SMP Level in Kampar District are included in the valuerange of 81%-100% or in the very strong category with a percentage of 82%.Key Words: Principal's Perception, PJOK Learning, Middle School Leve

Abstract

Abstract. In Indonesia, physics abilities nationally and internationally are decreasing every year, resulting in students' critical thinking abilities also decreasing. One of the supporting factors that can be done by physical teachers is the use of learning tools/media such as Optical KITs in the learning process, especially Physics. This research aims to describe students' critical thinking abilities with the effectiveness of the Optical KIT in optics material. The Quasi-Experimental Method utilizes the Pst-test only non-equivalent control group design used in this research. The sample for this research was 56 students in class XI Science at SMAN 1 Kubu Babussalam. Data was obtained through a post-test, a total of 20 objective questions which were analyzed descriptively and inferentially to find out how students' critical thinking abilities use the SPSS version 25 application. implementation of Optical KIT. The results of inferential analysis on the t-test using SPSS version 25 with significant results of 0.014 <0.05, meaning that Ho is not rejected and Ha is rejected. So in conclusion, critical thinking skills experience significant differences between classes that apply KIT Optical learning media and classes that do not apply KIT Optical learning media. This means that the Optical KIT learning media on geometric optics material is effectively used so that the critical thinking skills of students at SMAN 1 Kubu Babussalam increase.Keywords: Optical KIT, Critical Thinking Ability, Geometry Optik

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive surveymethod. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Tebing Tinggi which is locatedat Jalan Tutwuri, Selat Panjang Tim., Kec. Tebing Tinggi, Meranti Islands Regency,Riau. This research was conducted from February 2023 to March 2024. The populationin this research was 22 students from SMA Negeri 2 Tebing Tinggi, using a samplingtechnique, namely saturated sampling or total sampling. This research instrument usesa questionnaire or questionnaire with data analysis in the form of percentages. Basedon the results of the research and data processing carried out, it can be concluded asfollows: Based on the graph above, it shows that the development of basketballachievements at SMA N 2 Tebing Tinggi based on external factors is in the "stronglydisagree" category at 6.25%, the "disagree" category. 25%, the "fair" category is31.25%, the "agree" category is 31.25%, the strongly agree category is 0%, based onthe average value, namely 170.5625 coaching achievements in basketball at SMA N 2Tebing Tinggi Based on external factors, there are categories with the same value,namely the "sufficient" and "agree" categories with a percentage of 31.25%.Keywords: Achievement Development, Basketbal

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this research is that these athletes have low motivation, show little interest, lack attention during training, do not focus physically and psychologically, often feel bored and give up, often give up, lack encouragement and unclear direction which makes them less enthusiastic while practicing. The aim of this researcher is to determine the effect of goal-setting on increasing motivation in the men's basketball team at SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi. This research method is a pre-experimental design research, the research design used is pretest-posttest one group design. The population in this study was 11 students of SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi. The instrument used in this research was a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use normality tests and t tests, to determine the effect before and after the treatment or treatment given. Based on the results of the hypothesis test analysis, the value obtained is tcount (19.818) > ttable (1.796) at a significance level of α = 0.05 for a sample size of 11. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of goal-setting on increasing motivation in the men's basketball team at SMA Negeri 1 Tebing Tinggi.Key Words: Effect of goal-setting, motivation, basketball.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to find out the types of Directive Speech Acts bythe main characters “Puss in "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish" movie and analyze thetypes of directive speech act that most dominant used in the movie. The research utilized a qualitative descriptive research approach to qualitatively collect and interpret data for analyzing speech acts, employing the documentation technique for data collection and thematic analysis for data analysis. The object of this research is Puss in Boots: The Last Wish directed by Joel Crawford. From the result of this research, theresearcher finds that there are 55 utterances of directive speech act used by Puss. Theresult show that, first, the types of directives speech act were Command, Order,Request, and Suggestion. Second, the types of directive speech act that most dominantused were command type. In term of types, command is the most dominant used (25utterances) and order (6 utterances) is the rarely used type. Through examining specificscenes, the research reveals how Puss employs these speech acts to influence others and advance the plot. This research also highlights the strategic use of different directivetypes to achieve specific communicative goals, showcasing the nuanced role oflanguage in animated storytelling.Key Words: Speech act, Directive Speech Act, A movie

Abstract

Abstract: The problem in this study is that there are shortcomings and weaknesses of the basic technical factors in MAN 4 Muara Fajar football players, namely sloppy dribbling during matches, so that it is not clear in which direction the ball should dribble. The aim of this study was to prove the relationship between dexterity of eye and foot coordination and dribbling ability. The population in this study was the MAN 4 Muara Fajar football team using a total sampling technique with a total of 16 students. This type of research uses an instrumented correlation approach, namely the Dribbling test, data analysis techniques for the Varian's test and the Linearity test. Based on the results of the study described by the authors in the previous chapter, the following conclusions can be drawn: There is a joint relationship between agility and ankle coordination on dribbling ability in the MAN 4 Muara Fajar Sepak bola team, where rtab has a significant level α (0 .05) = 0.514, meaning Rcount (0.901) > rtab (0.514). Abstract

bstract: Anthropometric measurement is performed on the KONI tlet Prov.Riau to find out the ideal of the mass index of the bodies that the athlete has. Thepurpose of this research is to find out the body composition of the Riau Province. Thepopulation and samples in this study were using a total sampling technique of 327athletes. The instrument in this study uses anthropometric instruments (BB/TB) that canbe used to determine IMT, Based on the results of the research and the purpose of thisstudy, then it can be concluded that the measurement category of the body mass index of the average athlete KONI Riau belongs to the ideal weight category, or normal weight.Or of the 77 athletes, 63.64% had an ideal IMT.Key Words: Index Body Mass, Athlete

Abstract

Abstract: This research problem lacks good self-confidence because thelearning results have less satisfactory values. This research aims to find out therelationship of self-efficiency to the learning results of physical education at State HighSchool 2 Rambah Hilir district of Rokan Hulu. The research method used is thecorrelational method. The population used as many as 60 students with total samplingtechniques. The tool uses data capture through a questionnaire and is analysed usingmoment product correlation. Test data analysis requirements using KolmogorovSmirnov's test that asymp sig. self-efficacy 0.331 and asympt sig. 0.257 when comparedwith sig. The results of the study show that there is a significant relationship betweenself-efficiency and the learning outcome of physical education (r count = 0,566, r table< 0,237). This study concluded that students with high levels of efficiency tend to havebetter learning outcomes compared to students with low levels of effectiveness.Keywords: Self-efficacy, PJOK Learning Results, Jasmani Learning

Abstract

Abstrak: Difficulty learning the meaning of kanji is a difficulty for students in learning the meaning of kanji. This study aims to determine the factors of student difficulties in learning the meaning of kanji. This study uses quantitative descriptive methods. This study uses a questionnaire to collect data sources. The respondents in this study were 36 students from the class of 2022 Japanese Language Education FKIP Universias Riau. The results of this study found that there are three factors that have quite an influence on the difficulty of learning the meaning of kanji in students, namely learning strategy factors, curriculum factors and environmental factors.Keywords: Kanji, Meaning, Difficulty.
