Abstract

Abstract: Physical education, sports and health (Penjasorkes) have clear and directed pedagogic targets because movement as a physical activity is a natural basis for humans to learn to know the world and themselves which develops in accordance with the progress of the times and the prevailing educational orientation. In this way, it is clear that physical education has an important meaning in improving life skills in the maturation of students. Aims to develop aspects of physical fitness, movement skills, critical thinking skills, social skills, reasoning, emotional stability, moral actions, aspects of a healthy lifestyle, and introduction to a clean living environment. All of this is planned systematically in order to achieve national education goals. Dysmenorrhea is pain that occurs during menstruation. The pain that occurs is caused by several factors, from lack of physical movement and can also be triggered by stressed thoughts. This pain often appears before and during menstruation. In this situation, a person often feels uncomfortable and even unable to carry out activities because of the pain experienced during menstruation, so that this interferes with a person's activities and a person's motivation to do something. Many female students think that menstruation is an obstacle to sports activities. Because during menstruation it often causes pain, pain in the stomach, weakness, dizziness and discomfort. In this way, female students will indirectly experience limitations in movement. So that students' movement activities in playing sports are not free, which can cause a decrease in students' motivation and interest in participating in sports. Menstruation is an event experienced by women as a sign that someone is experiencing puberty. Menstruation is bleeding that occurs in women once every month during the fertile period except during pregnancy (Wianti & Pratiwi, 2018). Generally the menstrual cycle is 28 days with a duration of 4-7 days.Key Words: Education, Menstruation

Abstract

Abstract: This study is a quantitative research analyzed using statistical anddescriptive methods. The aim of this research is to describe the perceptions of studentsin the Japanese Language Education program at Riau University towards the SakuraTips Podcast as a medium for basic listening learning. The data collection techniqueused in this research is a questionnaire. The sample consists of 16 students from the2021 cohort. Data analysis techniques include statistical and descriptive analysis of thequestionnaire results. The validity analysis of the questionnaire shows that out of 17questions, 13 are valid. The reliability test of the instrument also shows good results,with a reliability coefficient of 0.991, indicating high reliability. Overall, the results ofthis study indicate that the Sakura Tips Podcast has a positive impact on basic listeninglearning in the classroom.Key Words: Media, Podcast, Listening Learning

Abstract

Abstract: Narrative text is one of the types of text learned in school. Therefore, it is necessary to know the students’ ability in comprehending narrative text. The aim of this study is to find out the ability in comprehending narrative text of the third year of Junior High School 1 Sungai Apit which consists of 82 students in total. The writer used cluster random sampling technique to determine the sample. The samples were 30 students. The instrument was a test which consisted of 40 items. The frame of the test covers 8 components: main idea, reference, detailed information, vocabulary, inference, social functions, generic structures, and language features. The findings show that the ability in comprehending narrative text of third year of Junior High School 1 Sungai Apit was high level with mean score 83.The highest mean score (80) was in language features and the lowest mean score (51.3) was in determining main idea. However, the students are suggested to expand their ability of the eight components in comprehending narrative text for the better results. Furthermore, the teachers are expected to be able to provide better teaching and learning to improve students’ reading comprehension abilities.Key Words: Ability, Reading comprehension, Narrative text

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to find out how much influence Zig-Zag training with a ball has on Dribbling Skills at the SSB Pancasona Abadi TualangU-17 Club. Research location in the SSB Pancasona Abadi Tualang Perawang field.From 7 January to 24 February 2024, the data source is SSB Pancasona Abadi TualangU-17 student players who are registered and actively participating in training. Tocollect the data needed for this research, the Dribbling Zig-Zag instrument was used.Based on the results of the research discussion above, it can be concluded that there isan influence of Zig-zag Dribbling training (X) on the endurance ability (Y) ofPancasona Abadi Tualang U-17 players. The obstacles that researchers face in the fieldafter conducting research are unpredictable weather, sometimes hot and rainy.However, researchers still continue research according to conditions in the field. Thismeans that when it rains the researcher stops the testee and continues if the field theresearcher is using is not hampered. If there are problems in the field, the researcherstops the research and continues the next day, perhaps that is the only problem in thefield that the researcher faces during the exercise.Keywords: Influence, Zig-Zag Practice, Dribbling Skills

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine the difficulties,implementation of learning, and evaluation of physical education learning for childrenwith special needs for mental retardation in special schools throughout Pekanbaru.This research is classified as descriptive research. This research was carried out at aspecial school in the city of Pekanbaru from the end of June 2023 to December 2023.Based on the results of the research and discussion, physical education learning formentally retarded classes throughout Pekanbaru City took place according to theexisting learning schedule and hours. Teachers teach according to the competenciesthat students must achieve. However, in implementing learning, teachers do not alwaysfind conditions that are conducive to teaching existing basic competencies. The resultsof this research can be concluded as an average of 82.14% with five factors which addup to the very good category. The meaning of very good here is that when comparedwith the interview results, SLB teachers really have difficulty teaching PhysicalEducation, but because they are based on sincere intentions, they are able to teach eventhough it is not according to the learning plan.Key Words: Physical Education Learning Difficulties, Children with Special Needs                 and Mentally Impaired

Abstract

bstract: Code-switching is a term in linguistics referring to using more than onelanguage or variety in conversation. Code-switching occurs when a speaker alternates between two or more language (bilingualism/multilingualism) or language varieties. The phenomenon of code-switching in Indonesia nowadays is quite easy to find and use by many people, especially in the South Jakarta, as they called the people who use code switching as “Anak Jaksel”. This study analyzes the types and reason of code switching that occurs in a YouTube Podcast of Deddy Corbuzier entitled The Art of Being Poor episode. The research is using a qualitative method, the researcher collecting the data through the utterances of host and source person in the video. The total of 94 data from the whole 69 minutes duration of the video is showing Intra-sentential type is the most showing type, representing 55 times (59%) of the total number of code switching occurences. While the most showing type is Talking about particular topic, representing 42 times (45%) of the total number of code switching occurences. These finding is imperative for educators to comprehend the functions and motivations behind code switching. When being use appropriately, code switching can serve as a valuable tool to enhance student learning and facilitate more effective teaching practices. By broadening their understanding of code switching, students can enrich their knowledge of English and enhance their communication skills.Key Words: Analysis, Code-switching, YouTube Podcast.

Abstract: This research was conducted to understand how persuasive speechacts are used in daily life. The type of research uused in qualitative descriptive. Thedata source fot this research is the character Arataka Reigen in the anime ‘MobPsychoo 100’ in convicing his costumers. The analysis in this research uses Robert B.Cialdini’s theory on persuasive principles, namelyReciprocity, Commitmen andConsistency, Sosial Proof, Authority, Liking, and Scarity. The data collection methodsuuesd are observation, listeing, and note-taking. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between concentration level and futsal playing skills of the SMA IT Fadhilah Pekanbaru futsal team. Meanwhile, the benefits of this research are as a source of information, knowledge, reference for future research and as reading material for coaches and athletes in overcoming anxiety or mental toughness, especially in karate and other sports. Every research certainly has aims and objectives, based on the existing problem formulation, the aim to be achieved in this research is to find out the relationship between concentration levels and futsal playing skills. The results of data analysis carried out using the Pearson product moment correlation test show a positive relationship with a significant value of 0.028 and a calculated r of 0.629. So that 0.629 is found in the pearson correlation value degree guideline between 0.61 to 0.80, thus it can be interpreted that the relationship between concentration level and futsal playing skills has a strong correlation.Key Words: relationship between concentration, skill, futsal.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to determine whether there is any significantcorrelation between watching English-subtitled movies and the vocabulary mastery ofsecond-semester students of English Study Program FKIP Universitas Riau. Thisresearch used a correlational research design. The number of samples were 38 studentsof the second-semester English Study Program. This study used a probability samplingmethod. In conducting this research, the researcher used questionnaire to obtaininformation on the students’ activity of watching English-subtitled and vocabulary test(VLT) to find out students’ vocabulary mastery. The data were analyzed by using SPSS21 Version. The findings and results of the research showed that the correlation betweenwatching English-subtitled movies and their vocabulary mastery is very strong.Key Words: Correlation, Watching English-Subtitled Movies, Vocabulary Mastery

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine whether the Smart Japanese application has an effect on increasing the Japanese language vocabulary of class XII students at SMK Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan. The sample used was 40 students. The research that will be carried out in this research is quantitative research. This research will be carried out with a Pre Test and Post Test Control Group design. The class will be divided into an experimental class and a control class. The experimental class will be given treatment using the Smart Japan application, while the control class will only study as usual. The data used for this study were taken from the scores of the experimental class and the control class. After the data is obtained, the data will be processed using SPSS Version 20 IBM For Windows. For the scores of the experimental class and the control class, a p-value of 0.000 was obtained, which means that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, or it can be concluded that there was a significant difference in the average score between the experimental class and the control class. From the explanation above, it can be concluded that the learning media for the Smart Japanese application vocabulary has an effect on the mastery of Japanese vocabulary for class XII students at SMK Negeri 1 Teluk Kuantan.Key Words: Influence, Vocabulary, Smart Japanese
