Abstract

In this paper we will explain about vacant parking space detection system through image processing. This program was made with Visual Studio using C++ programming language and OpenCV library. Image processing itself has a vast research area and some of its methods will be used to create a parking space detection system. In this program, the input consists of the video feed of the parking lot, the said video is processed and analyzed with thresholding classification and SVM classification, resulting in an indicator to show if certain parking slot is vacant or not.

Abstract

Procurement Department in PT. X is a department from a manufacturing company based in Surabaya, it provides needs of all departments in PT. X. Information Technology in Procurement is completely utilized to support the company's business activities and processes. However, this company has not done any risk assessment, that might causing the company does not know what impact that might occur that can choke Procurement’s performance. Therefore, a risk assessment is required to analyze the risk factors that could interfere Procurement’s business processes and provide a response to the most critical risks.This research is about to assess risks that might have happened in Information Technology and Procurement’s business processes. The steps in this risk assessment are using COBIT 4.1 standard to define the processes in the analysis, ISO 31000 as a framework in risk assessment steps, and Risk Rating Methodology OWASP as a reference for valuation and risk calculations. Based on the interview that has done, 14 risk factors have been found in PT. X Procurement. Some of them are data contracts is not stored in a database system, no written agreement regarding to devoted vendor PIC to handle related project, company does not have any contingency plan if there is a problem in the manufacture of goods/services by the vendor, Procurement has not performed IT risk assessment yet, so there is no analysis of the events might occur, no special documentation such as risk recording of each vendor, no uniformity of vendors progress report format so their points of information might not delivered completely, and no requirement for vendors to provide vendor reporting progress.The proposed response to the company are company should copy the contract and scan then store it into the system, identify and document the individuals involved in the project, providing a contingency plan in case either party to cancel the contract before the end of the contract period, make IT risk assessment, taking notes or special documentation related risk will each vendor, make format report for vendor reporting progress, and regularly schedule communication between Procurement and vendors to discuss the vendor progress.

Abstract

Datas which are stored in Indonesia National ID Card are common usually used in several administration process. In order to be able to extract the data a program which can segment the ID card area out of an image is needed.The first step of this method is to extract only the area of National ID Card. The area of National ID Card is determined using blueness level of every pixel. Then Canny Edge Detection is used to mark the edges of National ID Card, which later processed by using dilation to thicken the edges. The next step involves converting the image into binary image. By dividing each edge into twelve partitions and using lines to mark each edge. That way the area of National ID Card is extracted from the image by using certain fixed ratio.The application which is used in this paper can determine the area of National ID Card successfully regardless of skew and rotation, yet the application fails to determine the area of National ID Card when there exist an object with similar color to the National ID Card.

Abstract

PT. Visa Bintang Semesta adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang percetakan. Proses penjualan masih dilakukan secara manual dan offline, sehingga customer diharuskan untuk datang ke kantor jika ingin bertransaksi. Masalah yang terjadi adalah ketika seorang customer berjauhan lokasi dengan PT. Visa Bintang Semesta.Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, dibuatlah aplikasi e-commerce yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut. Proses pembuatannya menggunakan PhpMyAdmin sebagai program pembuatannya dan MySQL sebagai database-nya. Hasil yang diperoleh dari aplikasi yang telah dibuat antara lain, adanya katalog barang yang dapat diakses secara online, dapat menjual barang secara online, dan sebagainya yang berhubungan dengan proses penjualan. Selain itu aplikasi yang telah dibuat juga menyediakan laporan-laporan yang terkait dengan penjualan.Laporan tersebut dapat membantu pemilik untuk mengontrol penjualan yang dilakukan.

Abstract

Internet is one of the fastest growing Information Technology. There is a lot of information which can easily be obtained through the Internet. Computer network system is needed for a person to use or access it. Along with the increasing number of Internet users, Petra Christian University has been doing various ways in using the internet well, such as increasing bandwidth and also replacing the Internet cable lines with fiber cable. However, there are still some problems like delayed access, etc.Therefore, this manuscript describes the development of bandwidth usage visualization to help Petra Christian University, particularly its network division, to obtain information about Internet bandwidth usage. The application which is used for generating the bandwidth usage visualization is TSTAT. TSAT is a tool for analyzing the traffic passing through the network layer and it can only be used in a UNIX-based operating system such as LINUX, OS X, and other variants. Collected traffic data will be analyzed using TSTAT and the results (in RRD format) are stored in mysql database. Storing to database is necessary since the RRD storage capacity is so limited (fixed) that, when the capacity is full, the earliest data will be overwritten. Afterward, data from database will be visualized by using RDDtools, and the display result in the form of graph will be presented on the website by using PHP language. Based on 15-minute traffic data capture, 95,8% of the traffic is TCP protocol, while 4,2% is UDP.

Abstract

King’s Good is business unit engaged in the sale of material japan foodstuff are located in the city of East Java, Sidoarjo. In daily activities King’s Good is still applying the manual system and not at all contained there in accounting processes. This causes the transaction process is slow and less accurate when compared to using a computerized system. Therefore King’s Good requires a computerized accounting information systems, hoping to overcome the problems encountered. Accounting information system is expected to help shop owners in the records of all transactions carried out and process them into useful reports for the owner for future store development.The design of the system design using Data Flow Diagram and Entity Relationship Diagram. Program using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as database, and using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 .NET as programming language. The scope of the program that created the master database to include master supplier, customer, item, price, and units. The transaction includes the purchase and sale transactions, as well as journaling is automatically.From the results of the questionnaire, overall applications have been made in accordance with company requirements. Produced accurate reports in accordance with the manual calculation. In addition the program design and ease of use between the menu is well regarded by most users.

Abstract

Electronic Company in Surabaya is a company whichengaged in the electronic sales with branches scattered insome big cities in Java Island. The labor needs are increasedand employement activities need to be integrated acrossbranches require coordination by human resourcesinformation system (HRIS). In order to know HRISmanagement process’ level with current needs, it is requiredto conduct process capability level measurement. COBIT 5 isa framework used to measure HRIS process capability leveland has been combined with ITIL V3 2011 to help audit’s datacollection.The following steps in this research start from literature studyto review business documents and literature study ofresearch’s material, then to conduct interview, observationand questionnaire on data collection and data management.The result of data management was used to assess capabilitylevel and gap analysis, before finally it was verified andpassed improvement strategies and process recommendations.As the result of process capability level measurement, serviceagreements management process at Electronic Company inSurabaya is on level 1 (performed process) and level 2(managed process).

Abstract

Applications commonly used to solve the equations of dynamic analysis produce output that is less accurate because the use of mass implementation is less precise. Most of the applications are commercial and require the installation process before they can be used. The authors developed an application that uses website as the user interface, so that it can be accessed easily and does not require any installation process. The Website was created by using a more precise mass implementation so that the output becomes more accurate with simulated deformation and structure deflection.The Authors designed the website so that a user can have an account to make a project that is public or private, and an admin can manage the member data. Input process data are entered into tables with tabs such as node, properties, elements, joint mass, joint loads, ground acceleration, process so that the user can perform data input easily. Dynamic analysis calculation is performed by processing the input data using the Newmark method involving the creation of stiffness, mass, damping matrices the initialization of displacement, velocity, and acceleration the calculation of integration constants, the creation of element stiffness matrix, the calculation of displacement with time dependent, the calculation of displacement, velocity and acceleration.This dynamic analysis website generates outputs like all mentioned matrices in each element,  structure stiffness matrix, structure mass matrix, and displacement vector that conform with the exact solution. Results of displacement vector are  used to display the simulation of deformation and structure deflection at each time interval so the the structurak changes are observable from the beginning to the end.

Abstract

Gadget is important now, children of all ages already understand how to use gadgets. This resulted in more children often spend time playing the current gadget. By providing entertainment through games application, so users can be entertained. The application consists of 5 menu that map, shop, inventory, character, and tournaments. On the menu map players can carry out the mission and receive a gift. In the shop menu, players can view and purchase goods. On the inventory menu, players can see the items that are owned and can sell it. On the menu character, players can replace equip and improve skills. On the menu tournament, players can challenge other players to be matched with a character of its own. Overall, the application is able to create and display the mission, as well as be able to give levels to players with a rating. Players can also increase the ability of the characters to wear equip and improve skills.

Abstract

These days, the organizational activities in the Indonesian Rally and Rallysprint Championship – including timing process are still done manually, and that means the organizers have to work harder to process all these data. One of the consequences is people are having difficulities on following the event wherever they are because lack of concrete source to give all the updates. Because of that, web-based information system have to be made.Basically the system are divided into two – admin and guest website. Administrative rally organizer, media officer and timekeeper have their respective admin site. Second are the website, which show all these data for the public. This system use PHP, MySQL and Laravel to do all these data operation process.Data are organized with controller as access road between program and database, and also used to save all the function, to make sure that aren’t fill the web script. The timing system are done manually, where a timekeeper would stand by on the end of each SS to input all timing data.Overall, this system are running smoothly, although there are many room for improvements, while the data are could be seen on the admin site and the website. In other side, the survey respondent are satisfied with this system.
