Abstract

Real Estate company X has the IT division that provides support and services to another divisions which became a customer for the IT division. IT division provides services such as procurement of software, hardware assembly, and service divisions helpdesc for the needy. The problems that have occurred on the company network is lost, which caused the saturation point in the cable resulting data is entered into a computer can not be transferred to the server, the server is full, because any existing data within the company will be put into memory on the server, and often memory capacity in the server is no longer enough to accommodate the existing data, and the damage - hardware damage caused by the negligence of the user. That requires a risk analysis of quality management and risk management to cope with risks that exist.In this thesis, risk assessments of the quality management and risk management in IT services was carried out. The author uses several sources to help understand and assess the factors - existing risk factors, namely COBIT 4.1, ISO 31000, and Risk Rating Metodhology by OWASP. Based on research and interviews conducted, it was found several risk factors such as lack of Quality Management System that is used to guide the IT division, the absence of a structured risk management at the company, and the absence of criteria for determining the likelihood and impact for risks that were found.Responses should be done by the company is making a Quality Management System that can be used to provide guidance and guidance for IT divisions to carry out the duties and obligations, and implement a risk management used to identify, analyze, and identify ways how to prevent and avoid risks occurs.

Abstract

Tutor assistant is a term for students who serve new students in small groups, in a coaching program for new students known as Ethics Enrichment. Currently, every support tools that have been used by tutor assistants were printed. In comparison with the number of tutor assistants, the printing of support tools is a waste and not really practical, especially when compared to the advancement of technologies which actually can ease the service of tutor assistants.Web application was made with the purpose of helping tutor assistant service by providing a system that can be accessed across devices and can fulfill the needs of tutor assistants while doing their services. Some features in web application include material access, grade assignment, online attendance form and interactions with new students via sharing or meeting agreement form. Web application also use JSON Web Token to provide login service and email notifications if any content addition occur in web application.After doing some testing, it can be concluded that web application can be accessed nicely across devices. Survey also shows that web application answers the needs in providing a system that support the service of tutor assistants in Petra Christian University, with 59% of respondents agree that the web application is useful and 53% of respondents agree that web application as a whole has been good.

Abstract

CV. Squad is a company that work on specialist termite and pest control. This company wish to replacing the old system with computerization, because they had a difficulty in dealing with administrative issues because its operation is still manual, e.g. the sales and work schedule. Thus allow for errors in the financial calculation. From the background of these problems, we designed a application that support performance and set project management on CV. Squad. This system is built using PHP as programmer language and MySQL for the database.The results obtained from this application can take notes of purchasing transactions and sales can be done according to the structure and computerize and also complemented with stock card using First In First Out (FIFO) method. Each project also became more structured with monitoring feature on project management. Otherwise, with this application, owner can know some reports like stock report, debt, account receivable report and income statement.

Abstract

UD. New 234 motor is businesses engaged in the sale of spare parts and a variety of motorcycles in the village of Tinga - Tinga. Sales process still using manual system where the customer can only come directly to find out the latest stuff. In order to use the payment system still uses manual that customers make payments directly come to UD. New 234 Motor. With the e-commerce website is expected to provide a change of the system offline sales to online sales systems are computerized over issues such as the promotion of new goods and the payment process will be easier. Application of e-commerce is expected to make the sales process for the better and of course also expected to increase sales and provide many benefits for UD New 234 Motor.System design’s scheme use Data Flow Diagram and Entity Relationship Diagram. Database made by using PHPMyadmin. Program which has been made cover database master for members, books, book category, publisher, selling process transaction, and time-based report.Designing the system using the Data Flow Diagram and Entity Relationship Diagram. Database created using phpmyadmin. Program that includes creating a master database created for members, goods, sales, returns.From the test results, a program created to process sales data relating to the transaction at UD New 234 Motor.

Abstract

HIMA or Himpunan Mahasiswa is a student union on the department’s level in a university. HIMAINFRA is the Student Union of the Department of Informatics and Business Information System of Petra Christian University. HIMAINFRA aims to address the needs of all students of the Department of Informatics and Business Information System of Petra Christian University in academic and non academic matters. One of the services of HIMAINFRA is to distribute announcements and upcoming events to the students.Nowadays, HIMAINFRA uses posters and social media, such as LINE and Instagram, to distribute the announcements and information to the students. However, due to some limitations on the social media, not all announcements and information from HIMAINFRA can be received by the students. Besides that, to register as an event participant or an event committee, the student still need to do it manually (i.e., paper-based).This Android-based HIMAINFRA application was developed to help HIMAINFRA distribute the announcements and information. This application also helps HIMAINFRA’s members on running a committee and enables the students of the Department of Informatics and Business Information System to register online as event participants or committees. This application leverages on Firebase Realtime Database and Firebase Cloud Messaging.

Abstract

Toko Victor Motor mengalami kesulitan dalam menangani masalah administrasinya karena pengoperasiannya yang masih manual, yaitu pada transaksi penjualan dan pembelian, pembuatan laporan dan masalah pengeluaran lainnya. Sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya kesalahan dalam melakukan perhitungan penjualan dan pembelian dan hal ini dapat merepotkan jika dilakukan setiap hari.Untuk mengatasi masalah yang ada maka didesain dan di implementasikan sistem baru. Sistem baru tersebut didesain menggunakan Data Flow Diagram (DFD) dan Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) dengan menggunakan Microsoft Visio dan Power Designer, dan diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 2. Sistem yang dibuat meliputi proses transaksi pembelian, proses transaksi penjualan, proses penggajian mekanik, proses pembuatan laporan laba rugi, membuat kartu stok.Sistem yang dibuat dapat mempermudah Toko Victor Motor untuk mengatasi masalah yang ada dan dapat membantu proses administrasi dari Toko Victor Motor.

Abstract

UD. S is a business engaged in the sales of a wide range of household cleaning equipment, such as brooms, mops, duster, cloth, mat, hanger, and so on. UD. S makes purchases from suppliers and then resells them with a profit for the company, so that in this case the UD. S does not have its own production of goods. In the sales process, UD. S serves retail and wholesale. During this time, UD. S still perform the process manually allowing the occurrence of errors in entering data or errors in calculation and also more time consuming.This administration system application can help support and improve company performance. Administration system application built using the MySQL database and PHP programming language, HTML, and JavaScript.

Abstract

Data has become a very valuable asset in the company, but the more powerful than the data is information that we can though from the data. The information we get from the data has many benefits. In business decision making the data has a big role to determine whether the business action taken can lead to a good foot in the company. Companies that underlie data-driven decision making (Data-Driven Decision Making) are referred to as Data-Driven Company this in general has a division that is engaged in Business Intelligence.Business Intelligence is an integrated system that provides facts / information from data that has been processed for the benefit of decision making. This system is in charge of providing decision support for the specific purpose of a business process. The foundation of Business Intelligence is data that has been processed into useful information for the decision support process. Business Intelligence uses a multitude of methods to extract information from existing data. Business Intelligence provides information at the right time, to the right person in easy-to-understand form.

Abstract

The popularity of Android based device could lead into an abundant amount of device choices from many vendors. There’s a lot factors that one needed to consider before they can decide one device on the market that fully coping their needs. Some of whice are device’s performance, size, and price. The benchmark application will put the device into trial which consists of CPU computation, JavaScript performance, Graphics, and Storage capability. Application aside, there will be a web service intended to provide service for masses in an easier and a simpler way.Based on the test results, the application can run well and can perform all of its functions. Score output are relevant and can give the user general view about the performance from the device on the market. On several later iteration of android version, usage permission for external storage are very limited. Hence, DriveSpeed2 can’t be run because the application couldn’t write on external storage freely.

Abstract

Along with the development of Petra Christian University, the number of courses and students also grow significantly. Almost every program of study at Petra Christian University requires an invigilator. The way to spreading information and registration invigilator at Petra Christian University is still done manually. Each departement have difficulty in finding an invigilator, and students also have difficulty in finding information and vacancies about invigilator. Therefore, the need for a system such as a website that can be a liaison between students with department that require an invigilator.Based on the background of existing problems, the authors designed a web-based information systems that are in social media facebook using facebook API implementation and an email service for notifications. The information system is equipped with a feature list of the invigilator, feature to approve the invigilator, content overseen schedule, approve the schedule in case, invite the invigilator, notifications, import data from Excel files, and manage admin. The information system is made using CodeIgniter framework, PHP and HTML programming languge and MySQL database.Once the testing is done, a web-based information systems can run in facebook after login on facebook. Invigilator information system may be the link between courses that require an invigilator with students seeking jobs invigilator. Invigilator information systems can also provide email notification on facebook and students. This information system is getting the satisfaction score of 91.4% of respondents.
