Abstract

Registration the Quran Reading Development Program for Darmajaya Institute of Informatics and Business Students is currently still using the google form where the link is shared manually using social media such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook or orally directly through lecturers teaching Islamic subjects. The Quran Reading Development Program Team opened registration for approximately 2 weeks to ensure that information on this activity had been conveyed to all students who had taken religious courses. Furthermore, the team took 1 week to validate the registration and payment data, then the Quran reading team publish information for students who succeeded or failed in registering. This causes the activity to experience problems where the implementation of the Bina Baca Quran program can run 3 to 4 weeks after the implementation of the learning lecture takes place. With the development of the use of electronic systems in community services, the Bina Baca Quran registration application is an Android-based mobile registration information system application that serves to facilitate students and teams in carrying out Quran reading development activities, especially during registration. The method in designing the Quran reading application for Darmajaya Institute of Informatics and Business students used is the SDLC method, namely the waterfall model. After testing and based on the results that have been done using blackbox testing, the Quran reading application can run smoothly as expected and there are no bugs and in the testing process. The registration application for the Quran reading development program is more efficient and can make it easier to carry out registration activities in the Quran reading development program for IIB Darmajaya students. Keywords— Registration, Quran Reading, Waterfall, Blackbox Testing, Android Mobile

Abstract

Skin cancer is a disease caused by mutations in the skin of cells. Melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers are the two basic classifications for skin cancer. In addition, it is estimated that 5.9-7.8% of all cancer cases each year involve skin cancer. In Indonesia, 65.5% of skin cancers are basal cell carcinomas, followed by 23.0% squamous cell carcinomas and 7.9% malignant melanomas. When not discovered early, melanoma skin cancer can result in a high fatality rate. Basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma are two examples of nonmelanoma skin cancers (NMSCs), which are far more frequent but far less likely to spread and cause mortality. Diagnosis made by an expert or doctor takes a long time and is often inconsistent because the environment and personal conditions influence the expert's condition. To minimize this problem, this research aims to introduce image processing methods for early skin cancer detection, the Region growing method, and artificial neural networks RNN for classification. It is hoped that this method of early cancer detection can be done quickly and does not require much money. This study will use two methods to detect skin cancer: the Region growing method and RNN-LSTM. This research aims to introduce the Region of interest (ROI) method and artificial neural networks to detect skin cancer. Keywords—Cancer skin, Region of Interest, Region Growing, Recurrent Neural Network, LSTM

Abstract

Several problems related to the DPT (Permanent Voter List) including the KPU (General Election Commission) it is difficult to get the NIK (Population Identification Number) of people who are in correctional institutions or prisoners, beginner voters who do not have an ID card (Kartu Tanda Sipil) who are currently in prison. study in student dormitories, Islamic boarding schools, and others who are outside the city, the number of which is 3-5% of invalid NIK, voters who do not have a resident identity, voters with KTP (Kartu Identity Card)/old Family Card and NIK (Population Identification Number) ) invalid around 7-19% and voters are difficult to find around 5-8% so that the KPU must-visit houses as regulated in the legislation. This could allow not all DPT (Permanent Voters List) to be registered.Naïve Bayes Classifier is one of the classification methods used in Data Mining which is based on the Bayes theorem. Bayes is a simple probability-based prediction technique based on the application of Bayes' theorem (or Bayes' rule) with strong (naive) independent (independence) assumptions. Naive Bayes is only a method for analyzing, it takes other media to display information that is easy to understand the results of the Naïve Bayes Classifier calculations. Pentaho data integration is a tool that integrates large amounts of data, calls from Excel, MySQL, and provides instructions for existing data. Tableau is an application that will improve, tableau can call data that has been integrated and display the data in the form of diagrams, text, spatial data, and points from locations. Keywords: Naïve Bayes Classifier, Algorithm, Election Commission

Abstract

Corn is a top commodity after rice at supporting food self-sufficiency in Indonesia. However, because of corn leaf spot disease caused by plant pests the quality and quantity of corn is greatly decreasing. The problem with detecting spot-on corn leaf is required high accuracy and the plantation is huge. Therefore, this research study to determine corn leaf spot disease using Fuzzy C-Means and RNN methods. The research process in this study is first preprocessing to CIE-L*A*B* color space, next step is doing corn plant leaf disease detection with Fuzzy C-Means and RNN methods, the third step is to reconstruct the image from Fuzzy C-Means and RNN method result in grayscale level, and the last step is to evaluate the Fuzzy C-Means and RNN algorithm. In this paper only Fuzzy C-Means segmentation and training the RNN model are implemented. The result of the experiment is first from training RNN model with 80% training data and 20% testing data. The data trained for 20 epochs with 38 minutes and 1.8 seconds in total execution time and resulting with 0.9403 for accuracy and 0.9572 for validation accuracy. Next is the Fuzzy C-Means segmentation result, the Fuzzy C-Means execution time is 94 minutes and 16 seconds. For future research the RNN can be trained with much higher epoch and for Fuzzy C-Means can be combined with classification algorithm.
