Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of CSR Disclosure on financial performance and the comparison between Indonesia and Taiwan Textile Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and Taiwan Stock Exchange. The sample selection in this study used five textile companies in Taiwan and five textile companies in Indonesia in 2015-2017. The results of this study indicated that there was no effect of CSR disclosure on Assets Turnover (ATO) ratio and Return on Assets (ROA) ratio.Keywords  : CSR Disclosure, Financial Performance, Assets Turnover, Return on Assets

Abstract

The growth of information and communication technology has increased significantly from year to year. The issue that is developing now is the number of documents that are copied and paste. The amount of text data is constantly increasing in cyberspace so that everyone can easily find the documents they need. Because of these problems, measuring the similarity of the two documents is necessary and is fundamental to detecting plagiarism from many different documents. In this work, we would like to compare the effectiveness of the algorithm used to measure the similarity between two documents. Winnowing and SVM algorithms are widely used to compare documents because the plot is easy to understand and easy to use. The Experiment Result, we can find that the performance of fingerprints and winnowing is better than VSM. Moreover, the winnowing algorithm is more stable than others.Keywords: Vector Space Model, Winnowing, Similarity of Documents

Abstract

Prayer is an obligation that must be carried out by every Muslim, at least five times a day a night is obliged to pray. The time was determined according to the Qur'an and the hadith of the Prophet. Every Muslim must know the prayer times precisely and specifically for the muezzin to proclaim the call to prayer. Determining prayer times is largely dependent on the position of the sun on the earth. This certainly makes it difficult to determine the exact prayer time, therefore it is necessary to build a system that is able to determine and display prayer times precisely based on raspbarry pi3. Determination of prayer times is based on the position of longitude and latitude of the earth according to real time and altitude. Built using lazarus programming language with free pascal compiler. Abstract

Lampung province also one of provinces that put the tourism sector as a development priority. It can be seen from the development priorities of Lampung Province in 2015-2020, one of them is "Developing the tourism industry and creative economy and also to improve the competitiveness of cooperatives and SMEs". The result is the trend number of tourists visiting and spending for the area of Lampung Province has increased from year to year. The Condition of the number of tourists rising to Lampung Province is due to several factors besides influenced by national stability, it is also influenced by expanded marketing and focused initiative programs with the right approach mechanism. These proves that Lampung tourism stakeholders should not be solely dependent on the availability of tourism object, holistic tourism marketing needed to be able to develop "the prestige and the value " a tourism destinations. Characteristics and visiting motives analysis of domestic tourists to tourism destinations is the basis for the development of marketing strategy. If Lampung tourism stakeholders can continuously perform these activities, it will certainly have an impact on the crafting of marketing strategies that can fullfil the needs and desires of tourists who has become customers so that not only increase the number of tourist, but also can improve the satisfaction of tourists who visit and will become loyal.Key Words : tourist characteristics, tourism visiting motives, Lampung Tourism Destinations

Abstract

Face recognition has gained popularity in pattern recognition for the future applications in the fields of commercial and law enforcement. It has significant attention due to availability of feasible technologies, including in mobile solutions. Research in automatic face recognition has been conducted since the 1960s, but the problem is still largely unsolved. Last decade has provided significant progress in this area owing to advances in face modelling and analysis techniques. Although systems have been developed for face detection and tracking, reliable face recognition still offers a great challenge to computer vision and pattern recognition researchers. There are several reasons for recent increased interest in face recognition, including rising public concern for security, the need for identity verification in the digital world, face analysis and modelling techniques in multimedia data management and computer entertainment. In this chapter, we have discussed face recognition processing, including major components such as face detection, tracking, alignment and feature extraction, and it points out the technical challenges of building a face recognition system. We focus on the importance of the most successful solutions available so far. Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the percentage of how well known fintech is among students, especially students of the Darmajaya Institute of Informatics and Business. The importance of the knowledge and ability of the younger generation towards fintech technology is a benchmark for the development of civilization. The presence of technology in the financial sector provides benefits to all users, especially students. However, it cannot be denied that the very rapid development of fintech makes fintech players also compete in getting customers. This study uses a descriptive quantitative method whose results are processed directly based on the results of the answers from the respondents. Respondents in this study were undergraduate and postgraduate students at the Bandar Lampung Institute of Information and Business. The results show that the percentage of students' knowledge of fintech is quite high, and the most popular fintech application in the payment sector among students is ShopeePay. The limitations of this study are not discussing the reasons for using fintech among students, so that the results of this study can be developed to provide benefits for human civilization, especially the scientific field of Financial Technology (fintech).                           Keywords: Fintech, Knowledge Aspect, Usage Aspect

Abstract

Mobile device users are estimated to reach 4 billion in 2018 and 6 billions users in 2023. These mobile devices have changed how individuals and organizations carry out their activities. Increasing smartphone efficiency is changing how companies collaborate with their suppliers and distributors. Blockchain technology, which was first created for Bitcoin, is generating disruption in other industries. Even if the long-term forecasts for Bitcoin and the economy remain uncertain, it is increasingly evident that Blockchain technology can cause enormous disruption. However, because it poses a threat to the existing order of the modern world's prominent organizations, institutions, and power structures, its potential may never be fully realized. This article will introduce you to Blockchain technology and its potential use in the logistics and supply chain. If maintained on the Blockchain, data about supply chains and logistics can be sent across the network in a reliable, secure, and auditable manner. Abstract

Currently, futsal, mini soccer and football are becoming more popular in Indonesia. Many field owners rent out their fields to players at a fairly affordable price. Besides, there are several football courses in various cities. However, there are still many problems for players and field managers, as well as for football course/school/academy managers. For players who want to rent the field, they need to access the information of the location, facilities, available time slots and their rates. For the field owners, sometimes they have problems with the unrecorded payment in cash. For football school managers, the system for managing the instructors, students and course publicity is also needed. This paper shows the process of building a solution to address those problems in three phases namely customer discovery, agile product development, and operational preparation strengthening startup solidity. The authors propose this Agile-Simplified-Lean-Design-Thinking approach for solving customers' problems, developing the web apps, as well as mapping the business model. During this process, three customer segment representatives were involved to validate the problem's solution. This developed platform and startup team, called TEPANG - Ketemu di Lapang, are important as the bases for its future company building.  Keywords— startup, lean, design, thinking, agile

Abstract

In online shop marketing, there are several online media that are often used, such as tiktok live shopping. The buying decision process includes several stages of information seeking, comparing alternatives, decision making, and post-purchase behavior. This study aims to determine whether consumer satisfaction and product quality have a significant influence on purchasing decisions on live shopping tiktok. The type of research used in this research is causal associative research. Data was collected using a questionnaire with a total of 30 respondents. In the research results, there are measurements that can be distributed to determine whether there is an influence of Consumer Satisfaction (X1) and Product Quality (X2) on Purchase Decisions (Y) on Tiktok Live Shopping, by processing the data obtained through questionnaires that have been filled out by respondents to find out the results of testing the hypothesis.Keywords: Consumer Satisfation, Product Quality, and Purchase Decision
