Abstract

The shift towards renewable alternative energy has become a critical agenda for countries worldwide, including Indonesia. The Indonesian government has set a goal to reduce CO₂ emissions by 358 million tons, or 12.5% of the national emission reduction target by 2030. This study aims to design an efficient system for measuring the performance of the biodiesel supply chain in mining companies. The research methods used are the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model. The SCOR model is used to create a process-based supply chain performance evaluation system, enabling companies to evaluate their supply chain activities comprehensively for monitoring, control, and communication of business goals to related functions and the supply chain. The SCOR model focuses on five dimensions: reliability, responsiveness, agility, cost, and asset management. As a structured process hierarchy, this model facilitates supply chain management and provides metrics to assess specific performance aspects in these SCOR dimensions. Initially, relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were validated using the SCOR framework, and the weighting of selected KPIs was carried out using the AHP method. Of the 42 initial indicators, 23 were selected. The results of the performance measurement for the biodiesel supply chain in mining companies showed that the highest SCOR values were for responsiveness and cost (1.00), followed by reliability (0.95), agility (0.88), and asset management (0.82).

Abstract

Currently, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) players are competing to attract consumers to buy their products, one of which is by using attractive packaging. Siomay Gondrong is one of the MSMEs players whose packaging is not attractive, does not have a strong identity, and uses packaging that is less safe in terms of function. Based on these problems, it is necessary to develop the product packaging of Siomay Gondrong. This research aims to determine the concept and design in developing Siomay Gondrong packaging that is in accordance with consumer preferences. Kansei Engineering is used as a method to translate consumers' emotions, feelings, and desires into product design, and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is also used as a supporting method. The total number of samples and kansei words selected as consumer references were 44 samples and 35 kansei words. After filtering with the PCA method, two packaging concept models for siomay gondrong products were identified. The two models were “Not Aesthetic - Aesthetic” and “Not Informative - Innovative”. These two concepts are retained because the values obtained in the Kaiser, Standard Deviation, and Cumulative Proportion methods are more than one (1) and have a proportion of more than 80%. Further research is needed to determine the design elements that match consumer needs using the QTT1 (quantification theory type-1) method.

Abstract

This study examines the causes of delays in providing medication to Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) patients in hospitals within the Jakarta region and develops strategies to address this issue. The research findings, based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method reveal that empty stock at the distributors have the most significant impact on medication distribution delays, followed by wrong branch selection. The SWOT analysis results show that the Empty Stock at the Distributor is in quadrant III position which requires minimizing weaknesses to seize opportunities. Meanwhile, the alternative of wrong branch selection is in quadrant I which requires utilizing strengths to seize opportunities. It can be concluded that this indicates the company must utilize strengths to reduce weaknesses and seize opportunities. Strategies to enhance the efficiency of pharmaceutical distribution is using an integrated stock monitoring system and use of real-time stock monitoring system and strategically collaborating with distributors. The system helps companies manage stock more effectively, efficiently, and organized, while increasing competitiveness in the market.Collaboration with distributors become a key step to speed up the distribution process, reduce the risk of shortages or overstocks, and improve customer satisfaction through more timely and efficient deliverie. This research contributes theoretically to the integration AHP-SWOT approach focused on optimizing supply chain management can suggest strategy improving hospital procurement processes, and reducing ISPA medication distribution delays to enhance service level agreement which is necessary to enhance the quality of medical services in Jakarta.

Abstract

The first thermoelectric effect was discovered in 1821 by T.J. Seebeck. He showed that an electromotive force could be produced by heating a junction between two dissimilar electrical conductors. The Seebeck effect can be demonstrated by making connections between different metal wires (e.g. copper and iron). The thermoelectric module will generate a voltage if the two sides of the surface have different temperatures, namely the hot side and the cold side, otherwise a temperature difference will be generated if the thermoelectric module is voltage supply. Cold load is the amount of heat transferred by the air conditioning system per unit time. The refrigerant load includes the temperature of the incoming and outgoing air, the humidity of the incoming and outgoing air, the mass flow rate of the outgoing air, and the temperature in the cooler. The cold load will directly affect the cooling performance of the machine. A thermoelectric cooler is a cooler that uses the Peltier effect in its system as a heat exchanger. This Peltier element is environmentally friendly because it does not use freon gas for the cooling process, so it is not harmful to the environment. Using a thermoelectric cooler could maintain the product, but in this study ketapang leaf elements were added. This ketapang leaf is an insulator with antibacterial properties. The method used involves collecting temperature and humidity data from the peltier in the cooler. Calculate the mass flow rate of air leaving the peltier and the cooling load on the cooler. Temperature measurements and data collection were carried out over 10 days and divided into three periods, namely morning with an average temperature of 25°C, daytime with an average temperature of 32°C and at night with an average temperature of 25°C. is 28°C. The cooler temperature measurement was performed using the TEC 12706 and TEC 12710 thermoelectric modules. The TEC 12706 type thermoelectric module obtained a final cooler temperature of 22.6°C with test time is 240 minutes. However, the TEC 12710 type thermoelectric module achieved a final cooling temperature of 23.9°C after 240 minutes of testing. These two tests are done at the same time, i.e. at night. The average cooling load on the thermoelectric cooler is 25.16 kJ/s.

Abstract

The selection of paper as the main material for making composites in this study is driven by several considerations. HVS paper is produced by factories with the main raw material being wood. Besides, the use of HVS paper as a fiber for composites offers the potential to reduce industrial waste and reduce dependence on conventional raw materials. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of variations in the volume fraction of HVS pulp fiber on the mechanical properties of the specimen surface and hardness test to determine the use of HVS pulp composites as raw material for making motorcycle fenders. The benefits of this research provide information for the manufacturing industry in developing innovative composite materials, offering sustainable alternatives that are environmentally friendly, increasing the use value of HVS paper processing, which has only been used as waste. From the results of the research conducted, the results obtained with the value: the hardness of the specimen with a volume fraction variation of 70% fiber has the highest average hardness value of 11.5 kg/mm2, and the variation of the volume fraction of 50% fiber has the lowest average hardness value of 8.6 kg/mm2, which has a difference of 2.9 kg/mm2 with a volume fraction variation of 70% fiber. The highest impact price value is obtained at a 70% pulp volume fraction with an average impact price of 0.0402 J/mm², while the lowest pulp composite impact price is at the volume fraction of 70% fiber. 50% pulp with an impact price of 0.0263 J/mm². The increase in hardness and impact resistance with increasing pulp volume explains that this composite can be an alternative material for application on motorcycle fenders.

Abstract

The prevalence of depressive symptoms among university students continues to rise, driven by academic pressure, social isolation, and limited access to psychological support. Early detection and intervention remain critical challenges in mental health services. This study presents the design and implementation of an intelligent chatbot that integrates the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21 (DASS-21) with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to enable non-clinical mental health screening. The chatbot processes user input through intent classification and text preprocessing pipelines to dynamically assess indicators of depression, anxiety, and stress. Utilizing a hybrid rule-based and machine learning architecture, the system provides a self-assessment interface that delivers personalized feedback based on the DASS-21 scoring rubric. Two models were evaluated: a TF-IDF-based Neural Network and a fine-tuned BERT model. The TF-IDF model achieved an accuracy of ninety-one percent with a weighted F1-score of 0.91, while the BERT model outperformed it with an accuracy of ninety-four percent and a weighted F1-score of 0.94. Notably, the BERT model demonstrated a recall of ninety-eight percent in identifying moderate depression cases. However, both models showed limitations in detecting mild depression due to data imbalance. The approach prioritizes usability, anonymity, and accessibility, key factors in promoting help-seeking behavior among young adults. The results demonstrate the potential of NLP-powered conversational agents as scalable, low-cost tools for early detection of mental health risks in academic environments.
