Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationships customers’ perceived green practices, perceived the green image of a canteen, and attitudes toward a canteen, Keluwih customers and identifies the key green practices that influence customers’ perceptions of a canteen’s green image. The model used for this study adopted from Jeong et al. (2014). The respondents came from the employee, lecturer, and students of University of Surabaya with total 200. Data were analyzed using SEM with AMOS 18. First, the results suggest the perception of green practices affects customers’ perceived green image of a canteen which in turn influences customers’ attitudes toward a canteen. Second, the moderation of PCEG group in the research model between the group of Less Green and Green is not supported.In Less Green group, there is an indirect influence ofenvironmentally friendlypractices on the behavior through the mediation of the image of Keluwih canteen with environmentally friendly. In Green group, there is a direct influence of environmentally friendly practices on the consumers’ attitude of Keluwih canteen. Finally, the paper includes a theoretical model that helps explain customers’ formation of a green image and attitudes toward a canteen Keluwih and offers practical guidelines for effective green marketing management in canteen Keluwih management.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the direct influence brand awareness and brand associations to brand loyality and brand equity, and also theinfluence by brand awareness and brand associations of brand loyality whichis moderated to perceived quality.Direct influence of brand Ioyality brandequity, as well as explaining the influence of brand awareness and brand equ ty of the brand to the associations in mediation by brand loyality. The respo dents of this study amounts to 100 consumers in the Hypermarket Matahari Dept. Store in the Malang. Research Data collected by used questionnaire. S atistical analysis using method of analysis of the MRA and path analysis. The results showed that brand awareness and brand association had influence direct or indirect effects which has moderated by the perceived quality of brand loyalty. Brand Awareness and brand loyalty has a direct influence on brand equity, but does not indicate the existence of research results directly influence brand association of brand equity. The results also indicated that brand loyality affected the influence toward brand awareness and brand association against brand equity

Abstract

Data of Envelopment Analysis (DEA) represent a[n important appliance able to be used to evaluate and improve; repair efficiency a[n effort service or manufacturing by measuring efficiency from a group of Decision Making Unit ( DMU) which of a kind. Target of this research to know service efficiency storey; level and factor - factor having an effect on to service efficiency in Post Of Fice Branch PT. Regional Post Indonesia [of] Surabaya South by using Data method of Envelopment Analysis (DEA), this Variable Research for example -Variable Input : Amount of Employees, Operating Expenses -Variable of Output : Earnings Of Stamp, Earnings Of Special Flash, Earnings Of Special Pareel Post Flash, Earnings Of Toll Money Order Post, Earnings Of Post of Express, Amount of Package and Amount Customer. Result of this research can be concluded can be concluded that efficient Post Of Fice Branch that is KPC Wonocolo, KPC Rungkut, KPC Ketintang and of KPC Hamlet Mussel, while KPC Compose Pilang and of KPC Wonokromo represent Post Of Fice Branch which is inefisien or is inefficient

Abstract

This study aims to examine and explain the effect of Market to Book Value of Equity, Ratio of Depreciation to Firm Value, and Ratio of capital expenditure to book value of assets simultaneously to company performance are proxied by return on investment (ROI). In addition, this study also aims to determine the most dominant influence. The sample used in this study are 8 companies of Textile and Garment Sub-sector which go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange and got a total of 40 pooling data for period 2010-2014. This study uses the method of financial ratio analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, and inferential statistical analysis. The result of the study shows that the contribution of Market to Book Value of Equity, Ratio of Depreciation to Firm Value, and Ratio of capital expenditure to book value of assets simultaneously to company performance are proxied by return on investment (ROI) equal to 42.2%. Estimation results can be seen that the variable that has the largest standardization coefficient is the variable Market to Book Value of Equity. Thus, Market to Book Value of Equity has the most dominant influence on return on investment (ROI).

Abstract

This study aimed to identify theperception of farmers to the compensation system, workplace culture, work engagement, and competencies;to identify the compensation system is based on a points system; and to determine the effect of compensation, workplace culture, work engagement, and competence on the competitiveness of the SMEs sectorof Dairy Cattle.This study was conducted at seven locations,namely, Bandung, Bogor, Malang, Yogyakarta, and Boyolali in early March until the end of July 2016. This study was conducted by quantitative and qualitative descriptive approach. The method of this study was the compensation analysis based on a points systemand PLS SEM. Sample selection has been done by purposive sampling method with a total 202 farmers. The results showed thatfactors affecting the improvement of the competitiveness of the SMEs sector is thedairy cow compensation and work engagement. To improve the compensation system has been applied to the SMEs sector of Dairy Farmers then in decision making in the conduct of salary to workers cattle can be based on nine factors worthy of compensation, such as work experience, skills, visual skills, social skills, responsibility for the equipment, responsibilities another initiative, physical condition and physical effort. Compensation system could be improved to better leads to the competitiveness of the SMEs sector of Dairy Farmers. Then for the work factor can be enhanced by engagement of internal livestock workers through full engagement in work, so that workers can feel more committed in doing their jobs as farmers,so that creates a sense of dedication to the job. That will affect the resulting performance and may affect to the competitiveness of the SMEssector of Dairy Cattle.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze that the office channeling policy that based on Bank Indonesia's rule no. 8/3/PBI/2006 had an on the profitability of Islamic banking industry in Indonesia. This research used ordinary least square regression to analyze the impact that office channeling as a dummy variable in this model. The result showed that office channeling didn't have a bearing on the profit rate of Islamic banking industry that measured. According to from this result, either regulator, parent's bank, and Islamic business unit had the obligation increase the socialization, education, and services to the customers

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the system of rewards is a solution in improving the effectiveness of organizations in Kalawat District, North Minahasa - North Sulawesi. Given the changing global environment marked by changes in all areas, it is a challenge for an organization to be able to properly utilize the change into an opportunity.Because if it is too late to prepare and develop its potential, then the opportunity will soon be taken more competitor more prepared.The competitive advantage of an organization is determined by external and internal factors. But the internal factor of an organization’s competitive advantage is considered an important factor for success. This research uses the qualitative descriptive approach with literature study method, interview, document and observation at Kalawat District government. The results of this study indicate that rewards are a solution in improving the effectiveness of the organization in the District Government Minahasa North-North Sulawesi.

Abstract

Regional retribution, as well as regional taxes is one of the regional revenue is expected to be one source of financing governance and regional development, to improve and equalize the welfare of the society. So,this study was conducted to determine the effectiveness and contribution of charges for services to regional revenue Bandung District in 2010-2013. The results showed that many types of the retribution of charges for services that are less effective and did not contribute to PAD Bandung District. Including retribution of flats, rental of regional government'sland use, recreation areas, sport areas, and the sale of the production business. While the types of the retribution of charges for services which contribute only rental of heavy equipment from the department of Bina Marga and station services.

Abstract

This research is conducted to evaluate and examine the corporate diversification strategy, capttal structure and company value based on balance approach Trade­Off Theory and Pecking Order Theory. The diversification index (related and unrelated) was determined based on Hierschman­Herfindahl index. The capital structure variable consists of assets utilisation, bankruptcy cost, company s growth and dividend policy. The research also examines company rationalities in doing corporate diversification strategy, capital structure and their influence toward company value. The population of the research consists of the companies registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The samples were taken using purpose sampling technique. Based on the determined criteria, 43 sample fulfilling the criteria were obtained with six year observation period (in 2002­2007) and 253 observations. The research findings showed that the related and unrelated diversification strategy influenced the capital structure and company value. The attitude of the companies registered in Indonesia supported the Pecking Order Theory in related diversification and unrelated diversification companies. These are the efforts of companies to prioritize internal fund resources coming from free cash stream in order to reduce business risk. The capital structure policy in effort to increase company value the companies need to consider corporate diversification strategies, both related and unrelated.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is one solution that encouraged the government to promote the nation's economy. The study says that at least 2% of entrepreneurs in a country are required to make the country progress. With the growing number of entrepreneurs, the number of jobs created will also increase, so that the community will grow independently in economic terms. The growth of entrepreneurial figures is done in various aspects; one of them is through education. This study aims to see how to grow entrepreneurial behavior through the phase of intention in the educational environment. This research uses a qualitative method with focus group discussion method, documentation, and observation. The result is a design on how to grow entrepreneurship behavior through the phase of intention in creating entrepreneurship in education.
