Abstract

Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, manusia selalu berinteraksi untuk mempertahankan hidup. Dalam interaksi tersebut terkadang muncul upaya untuk saling menguasai sehingga perlu adanya pola hubungan sosial untuk menciptakan keteraturan sosial (social regulation). Keteraturan sosial (social regulation) sangat dipengaruhi oleh interaksi sosial yang harmonis. Abstract

Persebaran pemukiman Suku Sakai di Kecamatan Bathin Solapan Kabupaten Bengkalis yaitu di Desa Kesumbo Ampai; Desa Petani (dusun Belading + 112 KK) dan Desa Bumbung (dusun V Talang Jenang atau Talang Nagoi + 60 KK). Mayoritas orang sakai bermukim di Desa Kesumbo Ampai + 173 KK yang terdiri dari tiga Dusun yaitu dusun Sebangar Asal; Dusun Patang Butam; dan dusun Tanah Pujung. Suku Sakai mayoritas menempati wilayah Dusun Sebanga Asal di mana di dusun ini pula berdiri rumah adat; di kelilingi hutan adat seluas +260 Ha. Program pemberdayaan bagi suku sakai telah dilakukan oleh pihak pemerintah maupun swasta meliputi beberapa hal yaitu pemberian beasiswa; bidang peternakan; pertanian dan perkebunan; program Alokasi Dana Desa dan program UED-SP. Bila dikelompokkan program itu ada dikategorikan sifatnya produktif dan non produktif. Bantuan sifatnya non-produktif tidak banyak mengalami kendala seperti bantuan langsung dalam bentuk beasiswa; bantuan rumah RLH; bantuan uang untuk karang taruna; posyandu; PKK; surau dan masjid. Problem program pemberdayaan produktif mengalami beberapa kendala karena kurangnya pendampingan dan pelatihan yang sustainable (berkelanjutan). Tulisan ini mencoba mengurai berbagai persoalan kendala dari program pemberdayaan bagi suku Sakai.

Abstract

This article tries to study about how Muslim minority of Singapore have reconciled Islamic teachings with the unique challenges of their days. As we know, they live in a plural society, secular state, and globalised modern world. There are many challenges. Nevertheless, their experiences show how they practise Islam with relative ease; how they seek to harmonise religious teachings with their unique circumtances succesfully; and how they take care of the Islamic civilization well. Indeed, the external factors, such as the geopolitical situation and practice Islam. However, It shows that Islam remains compatible with any condition, including with the process of modernisation as long as the practice of the religion remains guided by its fundamental principles. Even, in the context of modernisation, Islam plays it’s role as spiritual bodyguard toward the bitterness of development. Further, Muslim Minority of Singapore’s experiences strengthen Gellner’s statement that “Islam is the great exception to secularization”.

Abstract

Media massa pengaruhnya sangat besar bagi perkembangan pemikiran manusia. Menjamurnya media sosial (medsos), membuat manusia lebih sering berinteraksi dengan medsos daripada bertatap muka dengan sesama.Media cetak yang sekarang ini juga terbit dalam bentuk online dan disebarkan melalui media sosial tentunya beperan dalam membentuk sikap toleransi antarumat bersagama. Kajian media ini dikhususkan pada rubrik opini Riau Pos. Melihat nilai-nilai toleransi yang ada di rubrik opini Riau Pos. Abstract

This article tries to discuss the vision of Allah {Ru’ya Allah)from the perspertive of Ali's thought. ‘Ali bin Abi Talib is chosen because he is among the best Muslim thinkers after the demise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.'a.w). The topic is quite relevant with our current Islamic Thought. Many relevant books used in this article in order to get a clear picture on ‘Ali's viewpoints, and the best to be referred to is Kitab Nahj al-Balaghah. It conprises the sayings of ‘Ali bin Abi Talib, as collected by al-Sharif al-Radi. Although there will be different views and opinions among Muslim thinkers from various sects on the topic, but generally they agreed that ‘Ali is the best scholar to refer to. Abstract

Development paradigm shift toward people-centered development (people centered development) who appreciate and consider initiatives and local differences. Therefore, local communities should be able to explore and develop the potential socio-economic as well as manage the diverse socio-economic potential in order to develop independently and sustainable community development through community based. The results of field studies show that global flows and empowerment programs that have been implemented are not able to assist fishing communities to increase their incomes so that the empowerment program that existed for only a program that spends money without a clear purpose. Fishing effort in Bengkalis has huge potential if it is able to manage the opportunities and strengths and to minimize weaknesses and threats coming from inside and outside the business. During this time, due to lack of knowledge about good management, the management of fishing activities of daily routine that must be converted into how to develop it into a bigger business because its potential is still quite large and underutilized.

Abstract

Konflik atas nama agama seringkali muncul dalam realitas sosial. Kondisi ini terjadi justru diawali oleh fanatisme yang berlebihan, yang kemudian merembet pada fundamentalisme. Konflik tersebut menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai agama belum diamalkan dan diterapkan dalam kehidupan masyarakat, sehingga diperlukan adanya revitalisasi nilai-nilai agama.
