Abstract

 Abstract:The aim of this study is to investigate the manifestations of resistance displayed by the main female character in the television series "Scarlet Heart 步步惊心" (Bu Bu Jing Xin), particularly Ruoxi/Zhang Xiao, using the feminist approach to power proposed by Naomi Wolf (1993). The method employed in this study was qualitative descriptive, with data sources consisting of words, phrases, sentences, and discourses encompassing elements of female resistance. The findings indicate that the main female character in this drama, Ruoxi/Zhang Xiao, exhibits resistance in alignment with the feminist perspective on power articulated by Naomi Wolf (1993), namely: 1) Affirming that men and women have equal worth in life. 2) Women have the right to take control of decisions that affect their lives. 3) Women's experiences deserve to be valued. 4) Women have the freedom to express themselves without hindrance, and 5) Women have the right to pursue and advocate for their needs as desired.Keywords: Resistance; Women; Drama; Feminism.

Abstract

Sexuality education for children school base is foundation important in to form attitudes, behaviors, and skills taking healthy decision related relationships and boundaries personal. Individual capable make right decision, develop draft positive self and relationships and prevent impact negative to health sexual. The purpose of study this is for to explore room scope material that needs to be strengthened in give understanding sexuality education and determining factors the success of the sexuality education program for child age Elementary School. Review literature systematic used in study this, is done use framework PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) work, explores practice based on evidence, effectiveness, and challenges in implementation of educational programs sexuality for child Age 6–12 years. Procedure this PRISMA research done through four steps namely identification, screening, eligibility and inclusion. At this stage identification done search text through three databases namely Science Direct, Taylor and Francis and Eric.ed.gov. and obtained results 8 matching articles with criteria. The result study this that room scope in carry out sexuality education for children need notice environment inclusive and participatory active. Effective sexuality education must create a stigma - free and inviting environment participation active from students, need designed with to discuss Topic sensitive in a way open and safe, at the same time overcoming the shame and stigma that often accompanies stick to the topic sexual. Education based on family need done with collaborative between schools and parents, emphasizing importance communication between parents and children related protection self and personal boundaries. The factors that influence the success of sexuality education is teacher perception, age, gender, and culture as well as the necessary delivery strategies customized with development child age school base.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how  the forms of gender-based child violence occur in Bengkalis Regency and what are the triggering factors for gender-based child violence in Bengkalis Regency. The method in this study is qualitative descriptive, data collection is carried out through direct interviews with counselors and heads of fields and heads of UPT as well as counselors and psychologists at related institutions, and documentation, namely taking and requesting data on cases of violence that have been handled by UP2 and LK3 in Bengkalis Regency. After data collection and interviews and analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) Forms of gender-based child violence in Bengkalis Regency include sexual intercourse with children, molestation of children, sexual abuse of children, rape of children, domestic violence against children, fights between children, abuse of children, beating of children, neglect or disposal of babies, abuse of children, exploitation of children,  morality, bullying against children, children's rights, threats against children, trafficking against children, sodomy against children, illegal logging against children. 2) Factors that trigger gender-based violence against children in Bengkalis Regency include there are still some people who weaken other genders, parenting and family factors, environmental factors, peers, social media or gadgets.

Abstract

Long Distance Marriage (LDM) is increasingly common in the era of globalization but poses complex challenges for couples. This study explores women’s adaptive strategies, focusing on communication and parenting dynamics in the context of LDM families. Using a qualitative case study approach with seven families in Gunung Pelindung District, East Lampung, this study uncovers collaborative strategies for maintaining family harmony. The research findings show that women develop innovative approaches to maintaining emotional bonds with their spouse and children, including regular communication scheduling, flexible role allocation, self-care, community support, creatively educating children, and using technology to stay connected. It can be concluded that the success of long-distance marriages relies on effective communication, mutual support, and a shared adaptive strategy. Implications of the study include a deeper understanding of contemporary family dynamics in the context of global mobility.

Abstract

Progresses in innovation have made it less demanding for individuals to carry out buying and offering exercises. Since with web innovation, individuals can make buying and offering exchanges without assembly in individual. Abstract

This article describes the results of research on the depiction of female slaves in Indonesian novels published in 2023 and the assumptions on the basis of the existence of slavery in Indonesian novels in the 2023 era. Through novels, slavery can be remembered again and provide a lot of information. Books that tell stories about colonial events are not only books published several years after colonial events. The Indonesian novel published in 2023 also tells the story of slavery, and even clearly describes how and what female slaves experienced during the colonial period. The research was completed using library study methods and note-reading techniques. The results of data acquisition are described qualitatively. The results of the research found several depictions of female slaves during the colonial period in Indonesian novels published in 2023. Slavery and women is a record of historical events that depict the journey of an important period in Indonesia that should always be read throughout time, including until 2023.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of Rasimah Ismail in resisting Dutch colonialism in West Sumatra between 1912 and 1933. Its background includes the historical context of Dutch colonialism in Indonesia and the political and social situation in West Sumatra during that period. The aim of this research was to understand the role and contribution of Rasimah Ismail in the resistance against Dutch colonization. The research method used included historical analysis based on primary and secondary sources consisting of several stages: heuristic, criticism, interpretation, historiography. Sources sought included archives, photographs, as well as Dutch and Indonesian newspapers conducted online and offline. The findings highlighted Rasimah Ismail's important role in organizing Minangkabau women to resist Dutch colonialism through various social and political activities and actively demanding Indonesian independence. Rasimah Ismail was also known for her bravery and firmness in expressing opinions against colonial government policies, leading to her exile and imprisonment in Semarang. The conclusion of this article emphasized the importance of women's roles in anti-colonial resistance movements and paid tribute to Rasimah Ismail as one of the active figures in that struggle.
