This research comprehensively describes implementing the "Whoop it Up" strategy in Arabic language learning integrated with the AIR model (Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition) Learning Model in Arabic Language Learning at MTs Bilingual NU Pucang. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through detailed observation and analysis, enhancing active student engagement, peer interaction, and reflection on the learning material. Within the AIR model, Arabic language learning goes beyond a passive process, involving students actively in language use, encouraging peer interaction, and fostering reflection on their understanding of the material. The combination of these two approaches offers diverse advantages. It can create a more engaging and interactive learning experience. At the same time, the AIR model provides additional structure and resources to support student understanding to create a dynamic learning environment, motivating students to participate actively and providing a holistic learning experience in comprehending and using the Arabic language. This research contributes valuable insights to develop innovative and effective teaching methods in the context of Arabic language learning.

The role of secondary education in the 21st century is increasingly vital for preparing students who will enter higher education and responding to the learning transition due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This form of response is by reviewing the orientation of the Arabic language curriculum in secondary education in South Sumatera. So, this research aims to analyze the reorientation of the Arabic language curriculum in secondary education in South Sumatera. The research method used by researchers is a case study method with a multisite design. Researchers collected qualitative data by interviews, observation and documentation in each place, then proceed with generalizations from the data collection results, and then conclusions are drawn as research data findings. The results of this research show that both schools had efforts to direct students to be active in learning Arabic, namely by changing books and adding books that support ongoing Arabic language learning activities, the schools also provide a conducive environment for the learning process. To convey this material, the teacher also chooses a student-centered method, hoping that students will always be active and that Arabic will not only end up as a language of study. As a measure of achievement, teachers have maximized the provision of media-based assignments and exam questions, even though the measurement techniques carried out by teachers have only focused on cognitive measurements, and have not yet entered into the affective and psychomotor domains.

The narrative style of the Quran is less systematic and intact except the narration of the Prophet Yusuf (Surah Yusuf [12]: 1-111). This paper narrates the verses of the Quran about Prophet Isa's life since his birth, prophetness, until death. The aim is to reconstruct narrative discourse of Prophet Isa's life as a systematical text. The method used is content analysis through verses related analysis in order to classify the meaning and connect the verses with other verses into a systematize form, a unified narrative and chronological discourse. The primary goal of language teaching is to enable students to understand the proper and clear language expression that he listens, or reads, or writes; in order to achieve a very lofty goal namely communication between human beings. It is recommended that we start teaching Arabic language to children since their early age. It is that a child spends hundreds and perhaps thousands of hours listening to his mother tongue, to recognize their voices, and to distinguish between them and finally to produce words and sentences. This is what we understand about early stages of Arabic language learning. DOI: 10.15408/a.v1i2.1144

This research is aimed at revealing the existence of new alternatives in translation teaching media. Translation teaching media is still strongly suspected to be dominated by the use of dictionaries, both in print such as Munawir, Munjid, Mahmud Yunus, and digital dictionaries like al-Maany, Google Translate, and other applications. The alternative media offered is social media such as Twitter (X). Social media usually used in public communication can be utilized as an alternative for translation learning. How to utilize social media such as Twitter in translation learning? How accurate is social media in teaching Arabic-Indonesian or Indonesian-Arabic translation? This research falls under the category of qualitative research when viewed from the source of text data used. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative method. The researcher will systematically present examples of using social media (Twitter) in translation learning. The data source in this study is tweets in Arabic language on Twitter. The results of this study indicate that Twitter can be an alternative translation teaching media. The auto-translate system available on Twitter provides several advantages in translation teaching, such as access to authentic and contemporary materials, development of translation speed and accuracy, exercise in finding equivalent words that are currently trending in the Arab world. However, the translations displayed by the auto-translate system on Twitter still need to be considered because there are various contexts that machine translators cannot read.
