The Holy Quran contains the faith, worship, Islamic morals, history, promises and threats, and information about Hereafter (eschatology). The narrative style of the Quran is less systematic and intact except the narration of the Prophet Yusuf (Surah Yusuf [12]: 1-111). This paper narrates the verses of the Quran about Prophet Isa's life since his birth, prophetness, until death. The aim is to reconstruct narrative discourse of Prophet Isa's life as a systematical text. The method used is content analysis through verses related analysis in order to classify the meaning and connect the verses with other verses into a systematize form, a unified narrative and chronological discourse. AbstractThe aim of this study was to develop the design of the e-learning concept through web-enhanced model for students at the Department of Arabic Education at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Research and Development (R&D) by using a 4-D model. The 4-D development model consists of four main stages, namely: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Data were collected through interview and distribution of questionnaire. After that, data analysis process was conducted in the form of both qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study showed that the development of e-Learning in Arabic learning gave students a new experience / nuance in learning Arabic for 63.5%. In terms of human resources, there is still an assumption that the conventional learning model through face-to-face is still an easy means and at the same time pays attention to the emotional bond between educators and students. This study concludes that the use of e-Learning media is still new to learning Arabic, and therefore, literacy in digital media needs to be developed to make them more accustomed to using it. Moreover, there are still many shortcomings and complaints by students in using e-Learning media in Arabic learning, and therefore, it required lecturers to be more intensive in guiding them.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan desain konsep e-learning dengan Model Web Enhanced pembelajaran bahasa Arab pada generasi Z yaitu Mahasiswa pada Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab di UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan mengacu pada research and development (R&D) by using a 4-D model. Model pengembangan 4D terdiri atas 4 tahap utama yaitu: Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Dan teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan dengan wawancara dan kuesioner. Adapuun Analisis data yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data kualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang didapat bahwa pengembangan e-learning dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab memberikan mahasiswa pengalaman/nuansa baru dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab yakni sebesar 63.5%. Dari sisi sumber daya manusianya sendiri masih ada anggapan bahwa model pembelajaran konvensional melalui tatap muka masih menjadi sarana yang mudah dan sekaligus memperhatikan ikatan emosional antara pendidik dengan peserta didik. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media e-learning ini masih baru pada pembelajaran Bahasa Arab, tentunya literasi pada media digital perlu dikembangkan sehingga mahasiswa lebih terbiasa dalam menggunakannya. Masih banyak kekurangan dan keluhan oleh mahasiswa dalam menggunakan media e-learning dalam pembelajaran, sehingga mengharuskan dosen harus lebih intens lagi dalam membimbing mereka.

This study aims to find out in-depth about the application of foreignization strategies in translating the Quran into Indonesian. The application of foreignization strategies in terms of meaning accuracy in the source language (SL) and target language (TL) as well as its suitability with the cultural context. The research method used is content analysis adapted from Krippendorff (1980). Based on an analysis of the foreignization strategy implemented by the Quran Translation Team of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) of the Republic of Indonesia, it was found that 94 words and phrases were foreignized in the translation of Surah Al-Baqarah. Judging from the aspect of the accuracy of meaning, equivalence, and its use in Indonesian, the vocabulary is still accurate in meaning, as intended by the SL text and its users. However, some absorption vocabularies experience a shift in meaning, broad, narrow, general, and specific, as well as those containing good and bad values. Two factors influence the translator in implementing the foreignization strategy in the translation of the Quran, namely (a) the condition of the Quranic text, which is difficult to translate into Indonesian, and (b) the translator’s belief that foreign vocabulary retention (foreignization) can give the nuances of the authenticity of Arabic culture (Quran).

Gerakan modernisme dalam Islam, khususnya pendidikan, tidak terlepas dari dua faktor eksternal dan internal. Faktor eksternalnya adalah ekspedisi Napoleon Bonaparte dari Prancis ke Mesir yang kemudian menggugah kesadaran bangsa Mesir untuk bangkit dari keterpurukan dan keterbelakangan dari Barat. Faktor internalnya berupa ayat-ayat Al-Quran dan hadis Nabi Saw. yang menyeru umat Islam untuk menggunakan akal dan pikiran demi mencapai kemajuan peradaban melalui pembaruan pemikiran, khususnya bidang pendidikan dan ekonomi. Dalam aktualisasi modernisme, para pemikir Islam menggunakan tiga metode. Pertama, metode komparatif, yaitu membandingkan antara keadaan masyarakat umat Islam dengan masyarakat yang lebih maju. Kedua, metode analitis-kritis, yaitu menganalisis dan mendiagnosis faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan keterbelakangan itu. Ketiga, metode rekonstruksi, yaitu mengajukan pemikiran, ide, dan gagasan untuk mencari solusi atas keterbelakangan Islam dan bagaimana strategi untuk memajukan umat Islam.Kata Kunci : modernisme, intelektualisme, pembaruan, gerakan Islam.

The purpose of this study was to reduce errors and provide insight related to the idhaf tarkib contained in Surah Muhammad. The research design used in this study is library research, so this research data is obtained from written literature. The existing data was then analyzed using a descriptive analysis method of Tarkīb Iḍāfī by analyzing the meaning contained in the idhafah. Idhafah is two isim connected by the implied harf jar, the harf jar, which is estimated between the two isim, namely lam, fii, and min. From this study, researchers found 30 Tarkīb Iḍāfī in surah Muhammad verses 1-15. From Tarkīb Iḍāfī it has the meaning of lamiyah 24, the meaning of min / albayaniyah 2, and the meaning of fii / az-zharfiyah 4.

The purpose of this study is to understand and explain the translation method used in the process of translating Arabic cartoon movies from Arabic into Indonesian. The theory of translation method used is Peter Newmark's theory of translation method. The researcher used the descriptive method of qualitative research. The listening method and note-taking technique were used for data collection. The data source of this research is taken from the subtitles of Arabic animated cartoon film: Ibn Sina on Sukardi Hasanudin's youtube channel episode 1 (one). The data obtained in the form of 89 data were researched and analyzed. The result of the analysis found 7 translation methods applied by the translator in the Arabic cartoon film: Ibnu Sina, namely word-for-word translation of 32 data (36%), literal translation of 4 data (4%), faithful translation of 10 data (10%), semantic translation of 5 data (5%), free translation of 23 data (26%), idiomatic translation of 1 data (1%), communicative translation of 14 data (16%). The dominant translation methods used are word-for-word translation and free translation.

AbstractThis research aims to examine the effect of using animated videos on students' speaking skills and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in teaching speaking skills through animated videos. The study employed a mixed-method approach that combines quantitative and qualitative research. The population in this study consisted of all seventh-grade students, with a research sample of 71 students divided into experimental and control groups. Data collection methods for the quantitative research included pre-tests and post-tests, while qualitative data were gathered through interviews and observations. Data analysis for the quantitative research employed t-tests. The results showed that the average post-test score for the experimental group was 81.6, compared to 72.4 for the control group. Data analysis using the Independent Sample T-test revealed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, with a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that the alternative hypothesis was accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected. This demonstrates that the use of animated videos has a significant effect on speaking skills. Supporting factors in the learning process included increased student interest, support from the school environment, and ease of access to educational media. Inhibiting factors included differences in students' educational backgrounds and the need for additional time. This study explores the use of animated videos as a novel tool to improve intermediate-level Arabic speaking skills. It examines both the impact of these videos and the factors influencing the learning process. However, limitations include a small sample size limited to seventh-grade students and a short study duration, making it challenging to assess long-term effects.Keywords: Speaking Skills, Learning Media, Animated Videos. مستخلص البحثيهدف هذا البحث إلى أثر استخدام الفيديو المتحرك على كفاءة الطلاب في مهارة الكلام ٢) العوامل الداعمة والعائقة في تعليم مهارة الكلام باستخدام الفيديو المتحرك. استخدم البحث المختلط بين طريقة تجمع البحث الكمي والنوعي. كان عدد السكان في هذا البحث جميع طلاب في الصف السابع مع عينة البحث التي تتكون من ٧١ طالبا وتنقسم إلى المجموعة التجريبية والضابطة. طريقة جمع البيانات للبحث الكمي هي الاختبار القبلي والبعدي، بينما تتم مقابلة البحث النوعي والمراقبة. طريقة تحليل البيانات في البحث الكمي هي الاختبارت. أظهرت النتائج أن متوسط درجة الاختبار البعدي للمجموعة التجريبية كان 81،6 بينما كان متوسط المجموعة الضابطة 72،4. وأظهر تحليل البيانات باستخدام اختبار العينة ت المستقل فرقا كبيرا بين المجموعات التجريبية والسيطرة بقيمة 0،000 (< 0،05)، مما يعني أن الفرضية البديلة مقبولة وأن الفرضية الصفرية مرفوضة. هذا يوضح أن استخدام مقاطع الفيديو المتحرك لها تأثير على مهارة الكلام. وتشمل العوامل الداعمة للتعلبم زيادة اهتمام الطلاب، والدعم من البيئة المدرسية، وسهولة الوصول إلى الوسائل التعليمية. العوامل العائقة هي الاختلافات في الخلفيات التعليمية للطلاب وتتطلب المزيد من الوقت. يبحث هذا البحث في استخدام مقاطع الفيديو المتحركة كأداة جديدة لتحسين مهارات التحدث باللغة العربية على المستوى المتوسط. كما يستكشف تأثير هذه المقاطع والعوامل المؤثرة في عملية التعلم. ومع ذلك، يقتصر البحث على عينة صغيرة من طلاب الصف السابع وفترة قصيرة، مما يصعب تقييم التأثيرات طويلة المدى.الكلمات المفتاحية: مهارة الكلام، الوسيلة التعليمية، الفيديو المتحرك.

This research is aimed at revealing the use of animation as an innovative learning medium to teach listening skills to grade X students of Madrasah Aliyah Al-Syuko. This study aims to measure the extent of the effectiveness of this media in improving listening skills and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its use. The research method used is a mixed method that combines quantitative and qualitative approaches. This study involved two groups, namely the experimental and control groups, consisting of 35 students of class X. Quantitative data analysis was carried out through pretest and posttest tests, while qualitative data analysis used the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models. The results showed that the use of animation significantly improved students' listening skills, with the average pretest score increasing from 53.88 to 76.94 in the posttest. The N-Gain test result of 0.5291 showed a moderate level of effectiveness. Statistical analysis also showed a statistically significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05).
