Abstract

Tourism villages have emerged as a viable option for local economic development and community welfare. As a result, the development of tourist villages has become a national initiative. The purpose of this research is to examine the accomplishments of a tourist village's management using the triple bottom line concept. Nonongan Selatan Tourism Village in North Toraja Regency and Kolesawangan Tourism Village in Tana Toraja Regency were chosen as research sites. The data for this study was gathered using a qualitative method, including interviews, observation, and document analysis. The findings of this study show that the Tourism Village Concept, as applied to Lembang Nonongan Selatan Village, which emphasizes people's daily lives, and Lembang Kole Sawangan Village, which emphasizes historical tourist destinations, has reflected the Triple Bottom Line Concept, which is measured in three areas: profit, people, and planet. This demonstrates that the concept of a tourist village is consistent with the government's goals, which are to improve the quality of life and welfare of the community while maintaining environmental quality. Keywords: Tourism village, sustainable economy, triple bottom line

Abstract

Determination of hotel tax policy as an instrument of tax collection on tourist village homestays is important in developing the tourism sector in Indonesia, but in its implementation the determination of hotel tax as an instrument of tax collection on tourist village homestays does not fulfill the principle of equality in the context of equality. This study aims to analyze the principle of justice (equality) for the regulation of hotel tax as an instrument for collecting tourism village homestay taxes by using the concept of equity (equality). This research was conducted using a qualitative approach and data was collected by reviewing the literature from various related sources. The results of the study show that based on 2 (two) measurements drawn from the concept of justice (equality), the first is based on the similarity of circumstances, does not yet reflect justice where the criteria for a tourist village homestay are different from other types of lodging, so there is a need for adjustments to the definition of a tourist village homestay. Furthermore, based on non-discrimination, the government still thinks that a tourism village homestay provider is someone who is qualified in their field, so a rate adjustment is needed so that fairness in hotel tax collection for tourism village homestays can be achieved.

Abstract

This research analyzes the synergy between the agrarian reform program and a conducive investment climate in Indonesia, focusing on implementing agrarian reform in South Sulawesi Province. Agrarian reform is essential in reducing inequality in land tenure, resolving agrarian conflicts, and improving community welfare through fair land redistribution. Apart from that, legal certainty over land through the legalization of assets is considered capable of increasing the interest of domestic and foreign investors. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods: in-depth interviews, direct observation, and study of documents related to agrarian reform. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and narratively to understand the relationship between agrarian reform and the investment climate. The research results show that agrarian reform is essential in creating social justice through land redistribution and improving the investment climate by providing legal certainty. However, synergy between the Government, society, and the private sector is necessary to implement agrarian reform effectively. Sound Governance principles, such as transparency and accountability, are essential for preventing agrarian conflicts and building investor confidence. In conclusion, the synergy between agrarian reform and investment policy can catalyze inclusive and sustainable economic growth. Collaboration between parties is the key to creating social stability and investment in Indonesia.
