Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan dan hasil dari penyelenggaraan program paket C dalam upaya memberdayakan masyarakat kawasan industri pertambangan batubara di Kampung Tumbit Dayak. Jenis Penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh dari, wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen. Tehnik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Tehnik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) pelaksanaan: Diselenggarakan sesuai syarat proses pembelajaran paket C yang disusun oleh pemerintah berdasarkan Undang-Undang No 3 Tahun 2008, RPP di Implementasikan sesuai rancangan awal, kurikulum bersifat situasional (masih menggunakan KTSP) karena belum ada sosialisasi terkait kurikulum baru, terjadi interaksi yang baik antara tutor dan peserta didik (terjadi komunikasi dua arah antara tutor dan peserta didik, peserta didik aktif untuk bertanya), sarana dan prasarana sesuai kebutuhan dan mendukung proses pembelajaran, (2). Hasil program; Terjadi perubahan pada sikap peserta didik (disiplin dan percaya diri), Peserta didik yang mengikuti peraturan dan prosedur PKBM dapat lulus dan memperoleh ijazah lalu bekerja di perusahaan (PT.PAMA), peserta didik mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pokok untuk diri sendiri dan juga memenuhi kebutuhan pokok keluarga. Community empowerment of mining industry areas through certification of package C programs AbstractThe research objective was to determine the implementation and results of the implementation of the package C program in an effort to empower the community of the coal mining industry in Tumbit Dayak Village. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data sources were obtained from, interviews, observation and document analysis. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data display and data verification. Technique of data validity using source triangulation. The results showed that: (1) implementation: Organized according to the implementation requirements of package C compiled by the government based on Law No. 3 of 2008, the RPP was implemented according to the initial design, the curriculum was situational (still using KTSP) because there was no socialization regarding the latest curriculum , there is good interaction between tutors and students (there are two-way communication between tutors and students, active students to ask questions), facilities and infrastructure as needed and support the learning process, (2). Program results; There is a change in the attitude of students (discipline and self-confidence), Students who follow the rules and procedures of PKBM have passed and obtained a diploma and work in a company (PT. PAMA), students are able to meet basic needs for themselves and also fulfill basic needs family.

Abstract

Cepokojajar Piyungan memiliki banyak potensi sumber daya manusia dengan usia produktif. Di sana juga terdapat banyak lahan yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan potensi lokal seperti pertanian. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan pemuda dengan kegiatan positif dan meningkatkan ketahanan pangan di daerah tersebut sehingga menjadi remaja yang mandiri, bermanfaat dan peduli terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Metode kegiatan ini praktik berkelompok, diskusi dan tanya jawab yaitu meliputi (1) praktek pembenihan tanaman pangan; (2) praktek membuat nutrisi tanaman dan pupuk cair dari bahan-bahan yang mudah didapatkan seperti air kelapa, susu fermentasi, telur, cangkang telur, dan kulit pisang; (3) teknik perawatan tanaman; dan (4) pemanfaatan barang bekas sebagai media tanam. Kegiatan ini bekerjasama dengan WALHI Yogyakarta dan karang taruna Cepokojajar Piyungan Bantul. Pengabdian masyarakat ini mendampingi remaja untuk praktik langsung dalam mengelola lingkungan yang efektif dan efisien sehingga dapat menumbuhkan karakter peduli lingkungan sejak dini bagi remaja. Peserta sangat antusias dan aktif selama kegiatan, mereka mendapatkan pengalaman dan pengetahuan aplikatif di bidang pertanian dan kesadaran untuk peduli terhadap lingkungannya semakin besar. Peserta termotivasi untuk praktik langsung di lingkungan masing-masing serta bertekad untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan yang mereka peroleh di rumah masing-masing dengan bertanam, merawat dan memanfaatkan produk pangan, sehingga remaja aktif merintis ketahanan pangan di daerah Piyungan. Pioneering food security and shaping the character of environmental care for adolescents in Piyungan AbstractCepokojajar Piyungan has a lot of potential human resources with productive age. There is also a lot of lands that are used to develop local potential such as agriculture. This activity aims to empower youth with positive activities and improve food security in the area so that they become adolescents who are independent, useful and care for the surrounding environment. The method of this activity is group practice, discussion and question and answer which includes (1) the practice of hatching food crops; (2) the practice of making plant nutrients and liquid fertilizer from easily available materials such as coconut water, fermented milk, eggs, eggshells, and banana peels; (3) plant care techniques; and (4) utilization of used goods as planting media. This activity is in collaboration with WALHI Yogyakarta and Cepokojajar Piyungan Bantul youth. This community service assists youths to practice directly in managing the environment effectively and efficiently to foster the character of caring for the environment early on for adolescents. Participants were very enthusiastic and active during the activity, they gained experience and applicative knowledge in agriculture and greater awareness to care for their environment. Participants are motivated to practice directly in their respective environments and are determined to develop the knowledge they obtain in their respective homes by planting, caring for and utilizing food products, so that young people actively pioneering food security in the Piyungan area.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities to know how to strengthen the character education model for elementary school students of Muhammadiyah 11 Tanjung Lengkong Jakarta and its application. Research and Development (R &D) used for the research method, there are consist of four step: (1) the preliminary step is the firs activity and collecting student information; (2) The planning stage of character education model for students as the development of initial product form; (3) Trial, evaluation and revision phases, and (4) Implementation step of character education. To measure the successful implementation of character education using the Delphi technique. Based on expert judgment, the strengthening of character education model of SD Muhammadiyah 11 Tanjung Lengkong Jakarta can be measured using the Social Problem Solving model. The result of the strengthening of character education model was found on the social skills enhancement of elementary school students of Muhammadiyah 11 Tanjung Lengkong with an average score of 3.75. Therefore the use of Model Social Problem Solving is worth using.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a mentoring training model to improve the competence of the assistant in the convection group in the city of Gorontalo. The approach used in this research is qualitative. The methods used are research and development (R & D) which include the following activities: (1) Preliminary review of the initial condition of competence of convection assistants, (2) Development model Mentoring, (3) expert validation and revision, (4) implementation of the model , (5) test the effectiveness of the model, and (6) model recommendation. The results of Development Studies show: (1) initial condition of convection competence of the general do not follow the standards of convection assistant, because the convection assistant has not received training, (2) The development of training model mentoring to Increase the competence of convection assistants conducted through several steps; Conducting analysis of development needs, determining the elements to be developed, developing a mentoring model to improve quality and productivity, validating model development with non-formal education experts, educational practitioners Non-formal and peer, and compile the final model, (3) Implication model assistance is conducted thorough testing and testing model assistance. All these activities are done through stages; Planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and delivering results. (4) The development of a training model affects the effectiveness and efficiency of training implementation. Effectiveness tests are conducted through post-test. Research findings suggest that the training model of mentoring to improve the competencies developed by the convection Assistant is recommended for the interested parties.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat pada layanan lembaga Pos PAUD. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan selama 2 hari dengan 30 peserta dari Pos PAUD di Kecamatan Sukun Kota Malang. Pelatihan diselenggarakan dengan metode two in one training, yang memadukan teori dan praktek penyusunan SOP (Standart Operational Procedure), Brand-ing Sekolah, dan identifikasi pelibatan potensi masyarakat. Melalui pelatihan ini pemahaman guru terhadap PPK Berbasis Masyarakat dan PPK Berbasis Budaya Sekolah meningkat, terbukti dari skor pretest 52,4 menjadi 86,2 pada saat post test. Output yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini adalah tersusunnya rancangan program PPK berbasis masyarakat dan teridentifikasi lembaga mitra. Setiap lembaga Pos PAUD juga mampu menyusun branding sekolah. Penyelenggaraan pelatihan secara umum dinilai sangat baik oleh peserta dengan skor rata-rata 90,2. Hal ini bermakna bahwa peserta senang mengikuti pelatihan, materi sesuai dengan kebutuhan, metode pelatihan menyenangkan, media yang digunakan sesuai dengan materi, ruangan nyaman dan peserta dilibatkan secara aktif dalam proses. Improving the quality of pos PAUD services through the development of community-based character education program strengthening AbstractThe purpose of this activity is to increase community participation in the services of Pos PAUD institutions. This training activity was held for 2 days with 30 participants from Pos PAUD in Sukun District, Malang City. The training was conducted using the two in one training method, which combines the theory and practice of preparing SOP (Standard Operational Procedure), School Branding, and identification of potential community involvement. Through this training the teacher's understanding of Community Based PPK and School Culture-Based PPK increased, as evidenced by the pretest score of 52.4 to 86.2 at the time of the post-test. The output obtained from this activity is the preparation of community-based PPK program designs and identified partner institutions. Every Pos PAUD institution is also able to compile school branding. The organization of training was generally rated very well by participants with an average score of 90.2. This means that the participants like to attend the training, the material is in accordance with their needs, the training methods are fun, the media is used according to the material, the room is comfortable and participants are actively involved in the process

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of classical Islamic education at Kuttab Al Fatih Semarang. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection with observation methods, documentation studies and interviews. The validity of data with extended entry techniques, observational diligence techniques, and triangulation techniques. The results showed the management of classical Islamic education in Kuttab Al Fatih Semarang ranging from planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation done in accordance with the concept of Islam in the heyday of Islam that aspires to build Quality generation. The management of the classical Islamic education in Kuttab Al Fatih is very effective to create students who want to have a character of faith, to be the memorization of the Qur'an, deepen the miracle of the Qur'an, mastering the language of civilization and have the skills of life.

Abstract

The circulation of contents depends on the marked separation of social domains and sub-domains: they are transformed from one domain to another (from the scientific milieu to the media or the school environment, for example). A competition of domains is thus developed, which aims to enhance the radiance of contents reflecting knowledge some of which dominate, others not, others are ignored or unrecognised and still others disappear. Finally, the description of Indonesian high schools presents modes of transmission that do not overvalue the learning content to the detriment of relationship established between the different members of some of these high schools. The two first high schools I have described (SMA3 and de Britto), present in their internal operating mode of transmission the same configuration as the nyantri system found in traditional kanuragan insofar as it shows how it is very difficult, if not impossible, to separate a so-called learning content from a learning community and a social environment. From these two examples we can understand that socialising ability is all the same educable and transmissible in a high formal context, and that the positive integration of the relation to time, space and others clearly adds that of the relation to knowledge.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemberdayaan masyarakat, inovasi dalam membuat kerajinan tenun, dan faktor-faktor pendukung serta penghambat keberhasilan pemberdayaan masyarakat sentra kerajinan tenun di Desa Wisata Gamplong. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif metode studi kasus. Sumber data yang diteliti adalah ketua paguyuban “TEGAR”, pengelola rumah kerajinan, dan pengrajin tenun. Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara, pedoman observasi, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi data, sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pemberdayaan pengrajin tenun di Sentra Kerajinan desa wisata Gamplong yaitu melakukan pelatihan, melakukan pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Inovasi yang dilakukan yaitu inovasi produk yang menghasilkan design unik dan baru untuk diaplikasikan pada kerajinan tenun. Faktor pendukungnya ialah adanya event-event, potensi alam, kerajinan tenun, dan ATBM. Sedangkan faktor penghambat yaitu minimnya dukungan dari masyarakat, generasi penerus dan persaingan harga Empowerment of weaving craftsmen AbstractThis study aims to describe the process of community empowerment, innovation in making woven crafts, and supporting factors and obstacles to the success of community empowerment of weaving craft centers in Gamplong Tourism Village. This type of research is a qualitative research case study method. The data sources studied were "TEGAR" community leaders, managers of craft houses, and weaving craftsmen. Data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis with data collected, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The instruments used are interview guides, observation guidelines, and documentation. The validity of the data is done with triangulation of data, sources and techniques. The results of the study show that the process of empowering weaving craftsmen in the Gamplong tourism village Craft Center is conducting training, providing assistance, and evaluating. The innovation that is done is product innovation that produces a unique and new design to be applied to weaving crafts. The supporting factors are the existence of events, natural potential, weaving crafts, and ATBM. While the inhibiting factors are the lack of support from the community, future generations and price competition.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the implementation of the community development programs and the benefits originated from the prospective women migrant workers’ responses after taking the training. The problems are "What are community development programs for prospective women migrant workers during pre-departure preparation? and, “What are the benefits originated from participants' responses on implemented programs?  The present study applies descriptive qualitative method, where data collection techniques utilized needs analysis and surveys. Data analysis comprises data collection, data presentation, data interpretation and conclusions. Total participants are 41 prospective maids. The results reveal that the implementation of community development programs has significant implications for prospective women migrant workers’ pre-departure preparation before leaving for the receiving countries. Having participated in the programs, the participants disclose the benefits they gain from each acting program. First, Basic English teaching benefited them to use English according to work needs. Second, the character-building program has nurtured them with life skills and self-understanding of the importance of being whole persons to provide good services. Last, they do not simply experience training but also complete concrete tasks through work skills training. Overall, the implementation of the community development programs in this study promotes significant impact to prospective Indonesian women migrant maids’ pre-departure preparation.
