Abstract

The objective of this research was to create early childhood sex education materials for Early Childhood Education Teachers. The research was initiated by conducting need assessment in the form of identification of the needs of sex education materials that appropriate for early childhood and the role of teachers and parents in the sex education. The subjects were chosen by using the purposive technique. The subjects of this study were 28 Early Childhood Education teachers in Sleman Regency. The data collection in this research was using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique was using quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of the research provided a description that the materials about the skills to protect themselves from sexual violence is the most needed matter of Early Childhood Education teachers. Further, respectively according to the level of need, the material that needs to be included in a Early Childhood Sex Education is the introduction of the gender, the introduction of self-identity, the relationship of men and women and ways to maintain the health,  and the introduction of reproductive organs and functions. Materials product is expected to be a guideline and reference in providing early sex education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi: (1) context, (2) input, (3) process dan (4) product program pelatihan keterampilan mengolah limbah kertas semen yang diselenggarakan Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Cahaya. Penelitian evaluasi ini menggunakan model CIPP yang dikembangkan oleh Stufflebeam (1986) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian dalam evaluasi ini yaitu 21 orang peserta pelatihan keterampilan, lima orang fasilitator pelatihan, dan satu orang penyelenggara program. Instrumen pengumpul data penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuisioner dengan menggunakan skala Likert, Acuan penilaian kriteria yang dipakai adalah penilaian acuan patokan (PAP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) aspek context program pelatihan keterampilan mengolah limbah kertas semen berada dalam kategori baik dengan  rerata skor sebesar 3,00 dari total skor yang telah ditetapkan; (2) aspek input program pelatihan keterampilan mengolah limbah kertas semen  berada dalam kategori baik dengan rerata skor sebesar 2,59 dari total skor yang telah ditetapkan; (3) aspek process program pelatihan keterampilan mengolah limbah kertas semen berada dalam kategori baik dengan rerata skor sebesar 2,53 dari total skor yang telah ditetapkan; dan (4) aspek product program pelatihan keterampilan mengolah limbah kertas semen berada dalam kategori tidak baik dengan rerata skor sebesar 2,06 dari total skor yang telah ditetapkan. An evaluation of the skills training program on processing cement waste paper at the community learning center Cahaya in Binjai AbstractThis study aims to evaluate: (1) the context, (2) input, (3) process, and (4) product of the life skills training program on processing cement waste paper organized CLC Cahaya. This evaluation study used the CIPP model developed by Stufflebeam (1986) with the quantitative descriptive approach. The research sample included 21 participants of life skills training, five training facilitators, and one program provider. The research data collection instrument was a questionnaire using Likert scale, and observation sheets. The reference to the assessment criteria used was the standard benchmark assessment. The results show that (1) the context aspect of the skill training program on processing cement waste paper is in the good category with the average score of 3,00 of the total score that has been set; (2) the input aspect of the skill training program on processing cement waste paper is in the good category with the average score of 2,59 of the total score that has been set; (3) the process aspect of the skill training program on processing cement waste paper is in the good category with the average score of 2,53 of the total score that has been set; and (4) the product aspect of the skill training program on processing cement waste paper is in the poor category with the average score of 2,06 of the total score that has been set.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penanaman sikap beragama dan moral anak usia dini di TKIT Salman Al Farisi 2, meliputi: perencanaan pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran, pembiasaan di luar kelas, pihak yang berperan, dan aktivitas pendukung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif studi kasus. Informan kunci guru dan orang tua. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan kajian dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) perencanaan pembelajaran berupa program semester, rencana pembelajaran program mingguan, dan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran harian; (2) langkah-langkah pembelajaran adalah  pijakan sebelum main, inti, dan penutup; (3) pembiasaan di luar kelas, seperti: mengucapkan salam, berjabat tangan, meminta maaf, membuang sampah pada tempatnya, saling menolong dan bersedekah; (4) pihak yang berperan adalah sekolah, orang tua, dan masyarakat sekitar (secara tidak langsung); (5) Aktivitas pendukung anak adalah kegiatan bakti sosial, manasik haji, kunjungan edukatif, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan undang tokoh. Aktivitas pendukung guru adalah pembinaan akidah. Aktivitas pendukung orang tua adalah parenting dan sekolah orang tua salman. Inculcation religious and moral attitudes of early childhood in TKIT Salman Al Farisi 2 AbstractThis study was aimed to describe the inculcation of religious and moral attitudes of early childhood in TKIT Salman Al Farisi 2, including: the lesson plan, the learning process, the habituation outside the classroom, the participants, and the supporting activities. This study is a qualitative research using case study design. The key informants are teachers, and parents. The data were obtained observation, in depth interview, and document review. The results show that: 1) there are lesson plan in the form of semester learning plan, weekly learning plan, and daily learning plan; (2) the learning steps are done on a opening before play, core, and closing; (3) habituation outside the classroom are such as: greeting, shaking hands, apologizing, disposing of garbage in its place, helping each other and alms; (4) the participants are school, parents, and the surrounding community (indirectly); (5) there are supporting activities for children, such as social activities, rituals of hajj, educational visits, extracurricular activities, and invite characters. Supporting activities for teachers is namely the formation of teacher aqidah. Support activities for parents are namely parenting and salman parents school.

Abstract

Perikanan bagan merupakan salah satu pekerjaan yang umum dilakukan masyarakat Desa Saramaake, Halmahera Timur. Kegiatan edukasi pelestarian sumberdaya dan lingkungan pantai ini dilaksanakan pada Juni, Agustus, September dan Desember 2018, bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi pemahaman tentang pelestarian sumberdaya dan lingkungan pantai di desa tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan, diskusi dan monitoring dan evaluasi. Sasaran kegiatan merupakan nelayan dan istri nelayan yang merupakan anggota Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUB) atau Koperasi.  Beberapa kegiatan yang telah dilakukan antara lain penyuluhan tentang perikanan bagan (Agustus), penyuluhan tentang konservasi lingkungan dan sumberdaya (Juni), dan kegiatan monitoring dan evaluasi (September, Desember 2018). Dari hasil kegiatan dapat diketahui bahwa secara umum masyarakat nelayan telah mengetahui dan mengimplementasikan kegiatan perikanan yang baik, dan menjaga kondisi lingkungannya dengan lebih baik, dengan tidak membuang sampah di laut, tidak melakukan penebangan hutan pantai, tidak mengubur ikan by catch di pantai, dan mengingatkan pada sesama nelayan, keluarga dan aparat pemerintah untuk tetap menjaga lingkungan laut. Education on the environmental and resource conservations of the lift-net fishermen  AbstractLift-net fisheries is a commonly job of the coastal community at Saramaake Village, East Halmahera. This education activity on environmental and resource conservations was done on June, August, September and December 2018, aimed to educate resource and environment conservation in the village.  Methods used in this activity were survey in the fied, discussion and filling in the questionnaire form. Objects of the activity were fisherman and their wives who were member of the Common Business Group (KUB-Indonesian) and Cooperative (Koperasi-Indonesian).  A number of activities were carried out to educate the fisherman community such as extension on the lift net fisheries, extension on the resource and environmental conservation, and monitoring and evaluation.  The community commonly knew and implemented a good fishing activity and  environmental and resource care better such as no drop garbage to the sea, no using the sea for toilet, no cutting mangrove tree, no burying by catch in coastal area, encouraging to families, fishermen and village officials to keep the sea better.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk  meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pengelolaan abon ikan lele dan menciptakan peluang usaha secara nyata di masa mendatang. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dimulai dengan pengadaan alat. Metode yang digunakan adalah training of trainer (TOT), yaitu pemberian materi melalui ceramah, praktek langsung, dan pendampingan. Pemberdayaan ini telah mampu menghasilkan 3 varian rasa abon ikan lele (manis, asin dan pedas). Hasil organoleptik menunjukkan bahwa abon lele dengan rasa manis adalah yang terbaik. Abon lele terpilih memiliki kadar air 7,71%, abu 4,59%, protein 26,50%, lemak 24,12%, dan negatif dari mikroba Salmonella. Produk abon lele telah memperoleh lisensi P-IRT, berlabel dan berstandar halal. Kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu, sehingga perlu dilakukan inovasi lebih lanjut dalam pengolahan abon lele agar produk yang dihasilkan dapat memiliki kualitas yang lebih baik. Empowerment of farmers through the production of shredded catfish AbstractThis activity aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of mothers through training and mentoring in the management of shredded catfish and create real business opportunities in the future. The activity starts with the procurement of tools. The method used was trained of trainers (TOT), namely the provision of materials through discourse, direct practice, and mentoring. This empowerment had to produce 3 flavors of shredded catfish (sweet, salty and spicy). The organoleptic results showed  that shredded catfish with sweet flavors was best. The shredded catfish selected had 7.71% moisture content, 4.59% ash, 26.50% protein, 24.12% fat, and negative from Salmonella microbes. The shredded catfish products have obtained P-IRT license, has labeled and halal standards. This activity is very useful in increasing the knowledge and skills of mothers, so that further innovation needs to be carried out in the processing of shredded catfish so that the products produced can be of better quality.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) Perencanaan pembelajaran tematik  (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik, dan (3) Evaluasi pembelajaran tematik di PAUD Kabupaten Melawi. Teknik pegumpulan data  digunakan dengan berbagai setting alamiah yaitu di lembaga dengan pengelola, pendidik, dan peserta didik PAUD di Melawi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian meliputi; observasi, wawancara, dan triangulasi. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian melalui keabsahan data dan pemeriksaan, pemeriksaan data dalam penelitian mengikuti kriteria yang sudah ditetapkan yaitu; Kepercayaan (credibility), Keteralihan (transferability), Kebergantungan (depandability), dan Kepastian (confirmability). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa PAUD di Kabupaten Melawi mengimplemntasikan pembelajaran tematik  sudah cukup baik.Hal ini dapat dilihat dalam penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran (Porta, Porsem, RPPM dan RPPH), selain itu penerapan pembelajaran tematik sudah sesusi dengan rinsip-prinsip tematik. Implementation thematic learning early childhood education  AbstractThe purpose of this research is (1) planning thematic learning (2) implementation of thematic learning, and (3) evaluation of thematic learning in Early Age Education Center Melawi. Data collection techniques are used with a variety of natural settings i.e. in institutions with managers, educators, and learners of Early Age Education Center in Melawi. Data collection techniques in the research include; observation, interview, and triangulation. Analysis techniques in the research through the validity of data and examination, the examination of the data in the study follow the criteria already set namely; Trust (credibility), transfer (transferability), Reliance (dependability), and Assurance (conformability). The result of this research is theEarly Age Education Center and implementing thematic Study is already good enough.This can be seen in the preparation of learning devices (Porta, Porsem, RPPM and RPPH), besides that, the application of thematic learning has been consistent with thematic principles.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis data tentang kondisi empiris, proses, dan dampak pembelajaran partisipatif model keterampilan fungsional berwirausaha untuk pemberdayaan ekonomi warga belajar Kejar Paket C. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam (indepth interview), dan analisis dokumen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui koleksi data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan serta verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi pembelajaran partisipatif model keterampilan fungsional berwirausaha Kejar Paket C yang diikuti 20 orang warga belajar berjalan dengan baik. Proses pembelajaran partisipatif keterampilan berwirausaha melibatkan warga belajar dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap kewirausahaan. Pembelajaran partisipatif keterampilan berwirausaha Kejar Paket C telah memberikan dampak terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan berwirausaha warga belajar untuk meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi keluarganya.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Partisipatif, Keterampilan Fungsional Berwirausaha, Pemberdayaan Ekonomi. Participatory Learning with Enterpreneurial Skills for the Economic Empowerment of Kejar Paket C LearnersAbstractThis study is aimed at analyzing the data of empirical conditions, process, and the impact of participatory learning with enterpreneurial functional skills model for economical empowerment of  Kejar Paket C learners. The study was conducted qualitatively with a case study method. The data collection techniques involved observation, interview and document analysis. The data were obtained through data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification.  The results of this study showed that the condition of participatory learning with enterpreneurial functional skills model followed by twenty learners of Kejar Paket C run properly. The participatory learning process of entrepreneurial skills engaged the learners in the planning, implementation, and assessment to improve their entrepreneurial knowledge, skills and attitudes. Participatory learning of entrepreneurial skills at Kejar Packet C has an impact on enhancing the learners’ enterpreneurial knowledge, attitudes and skills to increase their economic independence.Keywords: Partisipatiory Learning, Enterpernerial Skills, Economic Empowerment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak melalui bermain playdough di TK Tunas Gading Yogyakarta. Keterampilan motorik halus anak terlihat dalam keterampilan jari-jemari membuat bentuk dari playdough, kemiripan bentuk playdough dengan obyek aslinya, dan ketepatan waktu dalam penyelesaian bentuk yang dibuat dari playdough. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan bermain playdough dapat meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus pada anak usia dini 4-5 tahun di TK Tunas Gading. Proses peningkatan keterampilan motorik halus melalui Kegiatan bermain playdough dilakukan selama tiga siklus. Perubahan atau modifikasi bermain playdough yaitu menyusun aktivitas bermain playdough sesuai dengan tema yang sedang berlangsung di TK Tunas Gading, variasi bentuk dan warna bahan dari playdough, dan pembelajaran secara kelompok. Peserta didik lebih aktif dan antusias selama mengikuti proses pembelajaran, mandiri dalam menyelesaikan tugas, dan pelaksanakan pembelajaran lebih menarik. Bermain playdough sebagai ide kreatif yang tepat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan motorik halus anak, dan peningkatan keterampilan diri dalam mengelola kelas dengan membuat anak-anak lebih fokus dan aktif melakukan latihan-latihan koordinasi antara mata dan tangan ketika membuat berbagai bentuk dari bahan playdough.Kata Kunci: peningkatan keterampilan, motorik halus, bermain playdough                                                       The Improvement of Fine Motor Skills Group A through Playing Playdough in Tunas Gading Kindergarten AbstractThis research aims to improve fine motor skills through playing playdough in Tunas Gading kindergarten Yogyakarta. The skills will be seen in the fingers skills in shaping the playdough.The similarity of the object with the genuine object,and the timing when they shape the playdough. This research is a collaborative classroom action research by using Kemmis and Mc Taggart models. This research consisted of  3 cycles each of, which cycle of 3 meetings. The results showed that the activity of playdough playing can improve fine motor skills in early childhood 4-5 years in Tunas Gading kindergarten. The process of improving fine motor skills through play playdough activities conducted during three cycles. Changes or modifications to play playdough which is preparing to play playdough activity in accordance with the ongoing theme in Tunas Gading kindergarten, variations in shape and color of the material from playdough, and learning in groups. Learners are more active and enthusiastic during the learning process, independent in completing tasks, and implement learning more interesting. Playing playdough as appropriate creative ideas used to improve fine motor skills, and increasing skills in managing the classroom by making children more focused and active exercises coordination between eye and hand when making shapes out of playdough materials.Keywords: improving skills, fine motor skills, playing playdough

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui deskripsi cerita dalam novel dan film “Madre” dan “Filosofi Kopi”, (2) unsur kewirausahaan, (3) perbedaan unsur kewirausahaan antara novel dan film “Madre” dan “Filosofi Kopi”, (4) pengembangan program pendidikan luar sekolah tentang kewirausahaan yang terkait dengan cerita “Madre” dan “Filosofi Kopi”. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian analisis isi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) “Madre” menceritakan tentang seorang pemuda yang mengelola kembali toko roti milik kakeknya yang telah bangkrut, sedangkan “Filosofi Kopi” menceritakan tentang dua sahabat yang merintis usaha kedai kopi dengan berbagai inovasi baru (2) unsur kewirausahaan yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini adalah kegiatan kewirausahaan, sikap, karakteristik, dan perilaku wirausaha, kreasi dan inovasi serta kepemimpinan. (3) perbedaan unsur kewirausahaan dalam novel dan film “Madre” dalam hal kepemimpinan, sedang dalam novel dan film “Filosofi Kopi” dalam hal kreasi dan inovasi, (4) pengembangan program kewirausahaan berupa pelatihan memasak roti serta pengolahan biji kopi.Kata Kunci: kewirausahaan, perbandingan, novel dan film Comparative Analysis of Entrepreneurship in the Novel and Film “Madre” and “Filosofi Kopi” AbstractThis research aims to determine: (1) Madre’s and Filosofi Kopi’s description, (2) entrepreneurial elements, (3) the different entrepreneurial elements between novel and film”Madre” and “Filosofi Kopi”, (4) the developing of non formal education’s program related to entrepreneurship mentioned in the story of “Madre” and “Filosofi Kopi”. The approach used in this study was qualitative content analysis. The research findings reveals that (1) Madre is stroty about a young man who reopen his grandfather’s bakery, besides Filosofi Kopi is stroty about two bestfriends are starting up their new bussiness of coffee shop (2) entrepreneurial elements in novel and film “Madre” and “Filosofi Kopi” were entrepreneurial activity, the attitude, characteristics, and behaviors of entrepreneur, creativity and innovation, also leadership, (3) the different entrepreneurial elements between novel and film “Madre” wass the leadership, while between novel and film “Filosofi Kopi” was the creativity and innovation, (4) the developed entrepreneurship program related to story of “Madre” and “Filosofi Kopi” were training of making bread and processing coffee bean seeds.Keywords: entreprenurship, comparison, novel and film
