Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jus mentimun dan minuman isotonik terhadap tingkat dehidrasi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan eksperimen dengan desain penelitian cross over design. 8 orang mahasiswa keperawatan UPI 2018 berpartisipasi sebagai sampel dalam penelitian ini. Dehydrating exercise test yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Zumba fitness selama 60 menit. Instrumen pengambilan data menggunakan Urine Refractometer Spesific Gravity dan 5 visual analog scale. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test pada jus mentimun dan minuman isotonik terhadap tingkat dehidrasi sebesar p(0.83) dan p(1.52). Pada penilaian subjektif tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada penilaian subjektif antara jus mentimun dan minuman isotonik dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar Thirst p(0.398), Bloatedness p(0.609), Refreshed p(0.758), Stomach upset p(0.486) dan Tiredness (0.683). Demikian pula tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara jus mentimun dan minuman isotonik terhadap tingkat dehidrasi dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar p(0.696). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa jus mentimun dapat mengurangi potensi terjadinya dehidrasi sama baiknya dengan minuman isotonik. Ini membuktikan bahwa jus mentimun dapat menggantikan minuman isotonik sebagai minuman olahraga. The effect of giving cucumber juice and isotonic drink of dehydration level on Zumba fitness exercise AbstractThis research is intended to know comparison the effect of giving cucumber juice and isotonic drink on level of dehydration. Method which is used is experiment with cross over design. 8 UPI 2018 nursing students participated as samples in this research. Dehydrating exercise test that used in this research is Zumba fitness for 60 minute. Instrument data retrieval uses Urine Refractometer Spesific Gravity dan 5 visual analog scale. The result of this research indicated that there’s no difference significantly between the results of pre-test and post-test on cucumber juice and isotonic drink to the level of dehydration p(0.83) and p(1.52). In subjective assessment there is no significant difference in the subjective assessment between cucumber juice and isotonic drink with a significance in the amount of Thirst p(0.398), Bloatedness p(0.609), Refreshed p(0.758), Stomach upset p(0.486) dan Tiredness p(0.683). As well as there is no significant difference between cucumber juice and isotonic drink to the level of dehydration with a significance level of p(0.696). This shows that cucumber juice can reduce the potential of dehydration as good as isotonic water. It proved that cucumber juice can replaced isotonic water as sport drink.

Abstract

Player-based psychological skills are an important factor that any coach should understand. Unfortunately, up to date there has not been any study that deals with the disclosure of player-based psychological skills especially for basketball athletes. Therefore, through the conduct of the study the researchers would like to identify the psychological skills of basketball athletes based on the playing position namely forward, guard and centre. The nature of the study is a quantitative-descriptive research with the retrospective causal-comparative design or ex-post factor design. Then, during the conduct of the study the researchers selected 24 basketball athletes who consisted of 11 forwards, 9 guards and 4 centres as the sample. In gathering the data, the instrument that had been implemented was the Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports (PSIS R-5). After the data had been gathered, the data were analysed by means of one way-ANOVA with the support from SPSS for the calculation. The results of the study show that there are significant differences on the psychological skills of the basketball athletes based on the playing position. Furthermore, it is also found that the basketball players who occupy the forward position has higher score of psychological skills in comparison to the basketball athletes who occupy the guard position and the centre position.

Abstract

Relevansi penelitian pendidikan dengan praktik pendidikan masih sering dipandang secara skeptis. Padahal ada jenis penelitian yang dinilai berpotensi menjembatani jurang tersebut, yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan pendidikan. Tampilan kata kunci yang paling banyak digunakan di Jurnal Keolahragaan menunjukkan jenis penelitian ini banyak dipublikasikan. Namun demikian, tinjauan pada artikel yang melaporkan hasil penelitian ini belum dilakukan. Oleh karena itu, studi ini menganalisis artikel-artikel penelitian dan pengembangan di Jurnal Keolahragaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi dokumen. Data dikumpulkan melalui penelusuran arsip di situs web Jurnal Keolahragaan. Hasilnya, metode penelitian dan pengembangan memang banyak digunakan dan dilaporkan di jurnal tersebut. Analisis dokumen berupa sampel artikel terpilih menghasilkan temuan berupa: penggunaan istilah ‘model’ yang dapat diperdebatkan, kekurangakuratan dalam penyajian referensi prosedur pengembangan dan prosedur evaluasi yang cenderung pada data-data kuantitatif. A review of the educational research and development articles in Jurnal Keolahragaan AbstractSkeptical feelings about the value of educational research remained. Educational research and development (RD) as applied research has the potential to bridges the gap between educational research and practice. The keywords tag cloud in the Jurnal Keolahragaan revealed that this type of research is widely conducted. Unfortunately, a review of the R D articles in this journal had not been carried out. Therefore, this study aims to review R D articles in Jurnal Keolahragaan. The method used in this research is a document study. Data collected from the journal archive. The result of this study confirmed that RD was indeed widely used and reported in the journal. The findings from analytical reviews were as follow: the debatable use of the term 'model' which is frequently used, the inaccuracy of the reference used in developmental procedures, and the evaluation procedures dominated by quantitative data.

Abstract

Management of learning devices is an important factor supporting the success of physical education teachers in teaching, many previous studies have revealed this but there are still many limitations, especially in the discussion of teacher motivation and performance has an influence on the management of learning tools. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of performance and motivation of physical education teachers on the management of learning devices. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research, using survey methods. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires. The population in this study were sports and health physical education teachers at State and Private Vocational Schools in Sleman Regency. The study sample was 66 teachers. The research data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis with percentages. The results showed that F shows F count of 40.307 greater than F table at a significance level of 5% of 3.1428 (40.3073.1428), this indicates that teacher performance (X1) and teacher motivation (X2) are jointly the same contributes significantly to the learning device management variable (Y).

Abstract

Pitching was the fastest motion in baseball. Upper extremity has important roles especially in shoulder, elbow, wrist, and fingers. The purpose of this study was to integrate the information in a resume of biomechanical pitching and baseball pitcher’s injuries. The data base used refers to PubMed, SAGE, and Elsevier and several relevance journals related to baseball and injuries. Source refers to the data since December 2017 to the oldest 2000 to get data source in baseball pitcher injuries. Upper arm has the prominent role when pitching to get maximum motion and joints stabilize. Rotator cuff muscle generate rotation in the shoulder while pitching and control shoulder joints in the lower arm’s muscles and joints. Baseball pitcher has a special skill in the strength, speed, and endurance. They had to keep their performance to avoid from injury especially shoulder and elbow injuries. Biomechanical analysis can help to evaluated performance in monitoring dan give recommendation to elevate skills and prevent injury. Knowledge and understanding about basic of pitching have to mastering before elevate to the next level. Further study can focus on the time for the pitcher to improve the skills and maximizing the pitch type to avoid from injuries.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan tes kemampuan fisik bolabasket yang valid dan reliabel yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kemampuan fisik pemain bolabasket siswa SMA di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY). Subjek penelitian adalah 156 siswa SMA putra di DIY. Produk yang dikembangkan adalah tes kemampuan fisik bolabasket siswa SMA. Langkah pertama sampai keenam merupakan tahap pengembangan standar indikator keterampilan fisik bermain bolabasket siswa SMA. Langkah ketujuh sampai kesepuluh merupakan tahap pengembangan instrumen. Hasil uji skala kecil digunakan sebagai uji coba pengembangan produk dilakukan untuk keperluan pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen tes. Uji lanjut pada skala besar difokuskan untuk menyusun norma dan standar penilaian atas instrumen tes keterampilan fisik bolabasket. Hasil pengembangan tes keterampilan fisik bermain bolabasket meliputi (1) tes kecepatan 3/4 basketball court sprint, (2) tes daya tahan aerobik bleep test, (3)) tes kelincahan lane agility test, (5) tes daya tahan otot core strange and stability test, (6) tes power tungkai vertical jump, (7) tes power lengan push-up, dan (8) tes fleksibilitas sit and reach. Dapat disimpulkan instrumen tes dapat digunakan sebagai metode evaluasi untuk mengukur kemampuan fisik bolabasket pada anak SMA.Kata Kunci: tes kemampuan fisik, bolabasket, siswa SMA putra Developing a test of the physical capability for basketball for male students in the Province Of Yogyakarta Special Territory AbstractThis study aims to develop a valid and reliable test of the physical capability for basketball to measure the level of the physical capability for basketball player among senior high school (SHS) students in Yogyakarta Special Territory (YST). The research subjects were 156 male SHS students in the Province of YST. The developed product was a test of the physical capability for basketball for male SHS students. The first to sixth steps belonged to the stage of developing standards for the indicators of the physical skills for playing basketball for SHS students. The seventh to tenth steps belonged to the stage of developing instrumens. The result of the small-scale testing was used as a product development tryout, conducted to test the validity and reliability of the test instrumens. A further test in the large-scale testing was focused on the construction of assessment norms and standards for the test instrumens for the physical skills for basketball. The results of the development of the test of the physical capability for playing basket include (1) a speed test of 3/4 basketball court sprint, (2) an aerobic endurance test of bleep test for basketball, (3) an agility test of lane agility test, (5) a muscle endurance test of core strange and stability test, (6) a heel power test of vertical jump, (7) an arm power test of push-up, and (8) a flexibility test of sit and reach all of these can used as an evaluation method to measure the physical capability for basketball among SHS students.Keywords: test of the physical capability, basketball, male SHS students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model pembelajaran pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja untuk siswa sekolah dasar kelas atas. Model yang dikembangkan adalah teknik forehand dan backhand yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik siswa SD kelas atas. Model pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja bertujuan agar digunakan guru dalam penyelenggaraan kegiatan belajar mengajar tenis meja untuk siswa SD kelas atas. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua tahapan yaitu tahap penelitian pendahuluan dan tahap pengembangan. Hasil penelitian berupa pengembangan model pembelajaran pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja terdiri atas: (1) teknik dasar peganggan, (2) kontrol bola dan (3) teknik dasar memantulkan bola. Model disusun dalam buku panduan berjudul ”pengembangan model pembelajaran pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja siswa SD kelas atas”. Berdasarkan penilaian para ahli materi dan guru disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan model pembelajaran pengenalan teknik dasar tenis meja untuk siswa SD kelas atas layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran tenis meja untuk siswa SD kelas atas.Kata Kunci: model, pengenalan, tenis meja, SD kelas atas Developing a Learning Model of Introduction to Table Tennis Basic Techniques for Elementary School Upper Class Students AbstractThis research aims to produce a model of the introduction to the basic techniques of learning table tennis for elementary school upper class students. The model are developed covering forehand and backhand table tennis, that adapted characteristics of elementary school upper class students. Introduction to the basic model of table tennis techniques was used by the teacher in teaching and learning activities of upper grade students. The development of research carried out by adapting the steps of research development consisting of two stages: preliminary research stage and development stage. The results of the research are a development learning model of the introduction to basic techniques of table tennis consisting of: (1) grip basic technique, (2) Ball control basic technique, and (3) Hit ball basic technique. Models arranged in a handbook entitled "Introduction to basic engineering models of table tennis". Based on the assessment of matter experts and teachers, it can be concluded that the model of learning the basic techniques of table tennis for upper classes is with the curriculum. The model of introduction to basic techniques can develop in learning table tennis for upper grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model pembelajaran integratif untuk siswa sekolah menengah pertama yang layak digunakan. Model pembelajaran integratif diharapkan untuk digunakan guru penjasorkes dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan mengadaptasi langkah penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) pengumpulan data (2) analisis informasi yang dikumpulkan (3) pengembangan draft produk awal (4) validasi ahli dan revisi (5) uji coba skala kecil dan revisi, (6) uji coba lapangan skala besar dan revisi, (7) pembuatan produk final. Uji coba dengan skala kecil dilakukan terhadap 25 siswa SMP BOKPRI 1 Yogyakarta. Uji coba dengan skala besar dilakukan terhadap 31 siswa SMP Negeri 12 Yogyakarta, SMP Negeri 4 Yogyakarta, dan SMP PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. Instrumen pengumpulan data adalah pedoman wawancara, catatan lapangan, skala nilai validasi, guru partisipasi, respon siswa, tes unjuk kerja dan tes pengetahuan. Analisis data mengguna-kan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini berupa buku panduan yang berisikan syntax (langkah-langkah), bentuk penilaian, 6 permainan integratif, dan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang layak dan efektif.Kata kunci: model integratif penjasorkes, SMP Integrated learning model of physicl education on athletics with Biology for junior high school students AbstractThis study aimed to produce an integrated learning model for physical education and biology education. The integrated learning model was expected to be used by physical education teachers in teaching and learning activities. This research and development was conducted by adapting the steps of research development including: (1) preliminary study, (2) analysis of the gathered information, (3) developing the initial product, (4) expert’s validation and revision, (5) small scale trials and revision, (6) large-scale field trial and revision, and (7) dissemination of the product. Small-scale test was conducted on 25 junior high school students of BOKPRI 1 Yogyakarta. The large-scale trials were conducted on 31 students of Junior High School 12 Yogyakarta, Junior High School 4 Yogyakarta, and Junior High School PIRI 1 Yogyakarta. The instruments used for collecting data were interview guideline, field notes, questionnaires of scale validation value, questionnaire of teachers’ participa-tion and students’ response, performance and effectiveness test. The data analysis used descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The result of this research is a guide book that contains syntax (steps), forms of assessment, six integrated games, and lesson plan of learning which is proper and effective.Keywords: the teaching models, integrative physical education, Junior High School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran teknik dasar bulu tangkis berbasis multimedia. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) tahap studi pendahuluan, (2) validasi ahli, (3) uji coba lapangan, dan (4) pembuatan produk akhir. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen: (1) validasi produk awal, (2) angket observasi untuk pelatih dan ahli materi, dan (3) lembar observasi respons atlet. Penelitian ini menghasilkan media untuk pembelajaran teknik dasar bulu tangkis berbasis multimedia yang dikemas dalam CD dan disertakan buku petunjuk penggunaan. Teknik dasar bulu tangkis tersebut, yaitu: (1) bentuk-bentuk pegangan raket, (2) macam-macam servis, (3) macam-macam pukulan dari atas, dan (4) macam-macam pukulan dari bawah.Kata Kunci: pengembangan, teknik dasar bulu tangkis, multimedia, atlet usia 11 dan 12 tahun DEVELOPMENT FOR LEARNING THE BASIC TECHNIQUES OF BADMINTON BASED ON MULTIMEDIA TO ATHLETES AGED OF 11 AND 12 AbstractThis research aimed to produce a media for learning the basic techniques of badminton based multimedia. The research and development was conducted by the following steps: (1) the introduction study phase, (2) validation of experts, (3) testing product, and, (4) creating the final product. Instruments for collecting the data were: (1) the first product validation, (2) the questionnaire observation for coach and expert, and (3) observation sheet response for athletes. This research produced a media for learning the basic technique of badminton based on multimedia that was packaged in a CD and user’s guide included. The basic techniques are: (1) the forms of racket grip, (2) services, (3) a variety of overhead stroke, and (4) a variety of underhand stroke.Keywords: development, the basic techniques of badminton, multimedia, athletes at the age of 11 and 12 years old.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model permainan sepak takraw sebagai pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani bagi anak sekolah dasar kelas atas. Model permainan sepak takraw yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat digunakan oleh guru penjasorkes sekolah dasar sebagai bentuk pembelajaran permainan bola kecil khususnya sepak takraw secara baik dan efektif pada anak kelas atas. Penelitian ini melalui 9 tahapan dengan mengadaptasi penelitian dan pengembangan pendidikan model Gall, Gall, dan Borg. Hasil penelitian berupa pengembangan model permainan sepak takraw terdiri atas 20 jenis permainan yang dikelompokkan menjadi lima kategori berdasarkan teknik dasar bermain yaitu sepakan, bertahan, servis, smash, dan game. Model permainan tersebut: (1) berdasarkan teknik sepakan: permainan bola apung, permainan bola jinak, permainan bola bumerang, permainan bolalik, dan permainan bolan; (2) berdasarkan teknik bertahan: permainan ombak bola, permainan bolarus, permainan bosi, permainan bolabola, dan permainan bona; (3) berdasarkan teknik servis: permainan bontung, permainan bolatong, permainan perang bola, permainan bolvis, dan permainan bovispo; (4) berdasarkan teknik smash: permainan bomes; dan (5) berdasarkan game: permainan mangdul, permainan bolnet, permainan bolnetri, dan permainan bola vokra. Model disusun dalam buku panduan berjudul “Panduan Bermain Sepak takraw: Pembelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani bagi Anak Sekolah Dasar Kelas Atas” dan DVD pengembangan model permainan sepak takraw.Kata Kunci: model, permainan sepak takraw, pendidikan jasmani, sekolah dasar Developing Sepak Takraw Game Models as a Physical Education Learning for the Upper Class Students of Elementary School  AbstractThe research aims at developing models of sepak takraw game in physical education teaching for upper class students of elementary school. The model of sepak takraw game which is developed can be used by the elementary teacher in teaching small ball game especially sepak takraw for upper class students effectively. This study was a research and development conducted in 9 steps by adapting educational research and development according to Gall, Gall, & Borg’s model. The result of the research is sepak takraw game models consists of 20 types of games that are grouped into five categories based on the basic playing techniques namely: kicking, defense, service, smash, and games.
