Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine whether the implementation of STAD cooperative learning model is effective in improving students’ reading comprehension. This research uses a quasi-experimental design. The population and sample in this research is the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Tegineneng Pesa­waran with VIIA as experimental class, while VIIB as control class. The data collecting technique in this research is done by using test consisting of pre-test and post-test. Moreover, the data analysis technique used is t-test technique. The result of this research shows that the study of reading comprehension by using STAD cooperative learning model is effective in improving students’ reading comprehension of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Tegineneng Pesa­waran. Based on t-test result of pre-test and post-test in experimental class shows that the price of tcount is higher than ttable (13,174 2,034) which  means that there is significant difference between before and after treatment.Kata kunci: keefektifan model kooperatif tipe STAD, membaca pemahaman, siswa kelas VII.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the social, cultural, and religious values in the story of Radin Djambat and their implications. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. The source of data in this study is Radin Djambat story book. The results showed that the story of Radin Djambat contains social , cultural, and religious values. Social values in the story Radin Djambat include devotion among human, unity in life, mutual cooperation, deliberative process, and justice for others. Cultural values in the story of Radin Djambat include theoretical , economics, art, power, and solidarity values. Religious value include implementation of the pillars of Islam and worship. Implications based on research results is literature learning with Radin Djambat story in basic 2.2 Appreciating Indonesian literatures to find the values of life and apply them to refine the manners.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai sosial, budaya, dan agama dalam cerita Radin Djambat serta implikasinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah buku cerita Radin Djambat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cerita Radin Djambat mengandung nilai sosial, budaya, dan agama. Nilai sosial dalam cerita Radin Djambat meliputi kebaktian antarmanusia, kebersatuan hidup, kegotongroyongan, kemusyawarahan, dan keadilan terhadap sesama. Nilai budaya dalam cerita Radin Djambat meliputi nilai teori, ekonomi, seni, kuasa, dan solidaritas. Nilai agama meliputi pelaksanaan rukun Islam dan ibadah. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini berupa pembelajaran sastra menggunakan cerita Radin Djambat dalam kompetensi dasar 2.2 Mengapresiasi sastra Indonesia untuk menemukan nilai-nilai kehidupan dan menerapkannya untuk memperhalus budi pekerti.Kata kunci: nilai agama, nilai budaya, nilai sosial.

Abstract

The research is aimed at describing teachers’ comprehension ability towards KTSP and its implementation in Indonesian language and literature learning. It used a descriptive method with primary and secondary data. The source of the data was Indonesian language and literature teachers at SMPN 2 Tegineneng. The data collecting technique was triangulation through questionnaires and observation sheets. The data analysis technique was descriptive quantitative. The research findings are: 1) the comprehension towards KTSP was categorized high; 2) based on the class observations, the preparation and implementation stages were categorized good; 3) the KTSP document was categorized ‘enough’ which means it could be used as a reference for Teaching and Learning Activities in Academic Year 2012/2013.Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemahaman terhadap KTSP dan implementasi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa dan sastra Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan data primer dan sekunder. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah guru Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia SMPN 2 Tegineneng. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik triangulasi menggunakan instrumen angket dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian (1) pemahaman terhadap KTSP berkategori tinggi. (2) berdasarkan observasi kelas, tahap persiapan dan pelaksanaan berkategori baik, (3) Dokumen KTSP berkategori cukup, artinya dapat dijadikan acuan dalam pelaksanaan KBM tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.Kata kunci: guru, implementasi, ktsp 2006.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the moral values in the novel Sang Pencerah and their implication for literature learning in high school. The method used in this research was a qualitative descriptive method using inter-textual approach. The results showed that the novel Sang Pencerah contains moral values, namely 1) moral values of the Almighty God, 2) moral values of oneself, 3) moral values of fellow human beings, 4) moral values to the environment, and 5) moral values to the nation. The moral values are related to the texts of the Qur'an and Hadith. The implication of this research is in the form of literature learning in high school by reviewing the KTSP (School-based Curriculum) syllabus especially Indonesian Language subject to the eleventh graders in high school.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai moral dalam novel Sang Pencerah serta implikasinya pada pembelajaran Sastra di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan intertekstual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel Sang Pencerah mengandung nilai moral, yaitu 1) nilai moral terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, 2) nilai moral terhadap diri sendiri, 3) nilai moral terhadap sesama manusia, 4) nilai moral terhadap lingkungan, dan 5) nilai moral terhadap bangsa. Nilai-nilai moral tersebut terkait dengan teks Alquran dan Hadis Nabi. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini berupa pembelajaran sastra Indonesia di SMA dengan meninjau silabus KTSP mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia pada jenjang SMA kelas XI.Kata kunci: intertekstual, nilai moral, novel.

Abstract

This research is intended to describe quetion discourse in discussion on Indonesian MPK at Mathematics Department of FMIPA of Lampung University Academic Year 2012 / 2013. The method that is used in this research is descriptive qualitative.  Question discourse as directive speech act was found. Based on its  communicative function, question discourse was found in form of question speech act, anger, ensuring, limiting, commanding, reason, permit, explanation, comment, allowing, questioning, adding, recalling, explaining, blaming, intimidating, hesitating, revising, despising, and convincing. Based on its conversation principles, question discourse was found in form of ; those that fulfill the collaboration principle and the politeness principle; those that fulfill the  collaboration principle but don't fulfill the politeness principle; those that don’t fulfill the  collaboration principle but fulfill the politeness principle; and those that don't fulfill both  the  collaboration principle and  politeness principle.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan tuturan bertanya dalam diskusi pada MPK Bahasa Indonesia di Jurusan Matematika FMIPA Unila Tahun Akademik 2012/2013.Metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif. Setelah dianalisis ditemukan tuturan bertanya berupa tindak tutur direktif. Berdasarkan fungsi komunikatifnya, ditemukan tuturan bertanya berupa tindak tutur bertanya, marah, memastikan, membatasi, memerintah, meminta, meminta alasan, meminta izin, meminta penjelasan, meminta tanggapan, mempersilakan, mempertanyakan, menambahkan, mengingatkan kembali, menjelaskan, menyalahkan, menyudutkan, meragukan, meralat, meremehkan, dan meyakinkan. Berdasarkan kelangsungan tuturannya, ditemukan tuturan bertanya berupa tindak tutur langsung (direct speech acts) pada sasaran dan dengan argumentasi, dan tidak langsung (indirect speech acts). Berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip percakapan, ditemukan tuturan bertanya yang mematuhi prinsip kerja sama dan mematuhi prinsip sopan santun; mematuhi prinsip kerja sama, tetapi tidak mematuhi prinsip sopan santun; tidak mematuhi prinsip kerja sama, tetapi mematuhi prinsip sopan santun; dan tidak mematuhi prinsip kerja sama dan tidak mematuhi prinsip sopan santun.Kata kunci: bahasa Indonesia, diskusi, MPK, tuturan bertanya.

Abstract

The objective of this research were to describe the structure, function, grouping, culture’s value which is included in pepaccur and its properness as literature learning material at SMP. The research use descriptive qualitative method. The data of this research is pepaccur at Lampung. The data collecting technique of this research are observation, recording, field trip, interview. The data analysis done by etnografi and content analysis. The result of research showed that the pepaccur of structure are rima, rhythm, tone, frame work, temple, and language style; the function is used as tool to told the mean and introduce the Lampung’s culture; the variety are really variated based on the content or advice which is contained in it; the value which is contained in pepaccur are religion, politeness, simplicity, and social value; the properness of pepaccur can be used as the material of learning literature at SMP.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur, fungsi, penjenisan, nilai-nilai budaya dalam pepaccur dan kelayakannya sebagai materi pembelajaran sastra di SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini adalah pepaccur pada masyarakat Lampung pepadun. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan pengamatan, rekaman, catatan lapangan, wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis etnografi dan isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pepaccur memiliki struktur yaitu rima, nada, kerangka pepaccur, diksi, bait, dan gaya bahasa; fungsinya sebagai sarana untuk menyampaikan maksud dan memperkenalkan budaya Lampung; jenisnya sesuai dengan isi yang terkandung di dalamnya; nilai-nilai kebudayaan berupa nilai keagamaan, kesopanan, kesederhanaan dan sosial; pepaccur dapat dijadikan sebagai materi pembelajaran sastra di SMP.Kata kunci: lampung, pembelajaran sastra, pepaccur.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and explain the function forms of assertive , directive, expressive, commissive, and declarative charactered kindergarten teacher in the learning activities. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The research data in the form of speech functions assertive, directive, expressive, commissive, and declarative characterised kindergarten teacher. The data collecting technique used was observation, recording, and field note. Data analysis was performed with the heuristic analysis. The result of the researh shows that the functions of kindergarten speech potentially forming the student characters is the assertive speech act of stating, reporting, proposing and complaining. Secondly, The directive speech act are asking, ordering, and advising. Thirdly, The expressive speech act are gratitude, apology, gratitude, and critisizing. Fourthly, The commisive speech act are promising, offering and threatening. Finally, declarative speech act are deciding, forbiding, permitting, punishing and apology.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan bentuk-bentuk fungsi tindak tutur asertif, direktif, ekspresif, komisif, deklaratif guru TK yang berkarakter dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian berupa fungsi tindak tutur asertif, direktif, ekspresif, komisif, deklaratif guru TK yang berkarakter. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, rekaman, dan catatan lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis heuristik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan fugsi tindak tutur guru TK yang berpotensi membentuk karakter siswa adalah tindak tutur asertif menyatakan, melaporkan, mengusulkan, dan mengeluh. Tindak tutur direktif meminta, memerintah, dan menasehati. Tindak tutur ekspresif mengucapkan terimakasih, mengucapkan maaf, memuji, dan mengkritik. Tindak tutur komisif menjanjikan, menawarkan, dan mengancam. Tindak tutur deklaratif memutuskan, melarang, mengabulkan, menghukum, dan memaafkan.Kata kunci: kegiatan pembelajarah di TK, tindak tutur, tindak tutur guru yang berkarakter.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to describe the difference between students’ writing poetry ability by using cooperative learning model of jigsaw II and conventional model. It’s also describing the effectiveness of those models to increase the students’ writing poetry ability.This true experiment is treated to the students of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu with 240 populations. The data of research is collected by doing the writing test of poetry. The technique is to analyse t-test data.The result shows that there is a significant difference between the students’ writing poetry ability by using learning model of jigsaw II with conventional learning model that is (t-arithmetic 35.310 t-table 1.688) and the use of jigsaw II model is more effective than by using conventional learning model with the rank of effectiveness is 14.70 % versus 9%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan kemampuan menulis puisi pada siswa yang menggunakan perlakuan model pembelajaran tipe jigsaw II dan model konvensional dan mendeskripsikan keefektifan model tersebut dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimen murni yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Pringsewu dengan populasi 240 responden. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes menulis puisi dengan teknik analisis uji t-test data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis puisi pada siswa yang menggunakan perlakuan model pembelajaran jigsaw II dan model pembelajaran konvensional (t-hitung 35,310 ttabel 1,688) dengan penggunaan model jigsaw II lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional dengan tingkat keefektifan 14,70% berbanding 9%.Kata kunci: jigsaw II, kemampuan menulis, siswa.

Abstract

Image and objective correlative in poetry are important and need to be deeply analyzed. It becomes important in relation with language learning in school and also becomes issues in a qualitative research using descriptive method. This research is aimed to describe the meaning of the poem in a way to identify and describe the types of images, image source, objective correlative, and also implicate them in high school language learning. The Source of the research data is a book poems of Don Quixote written by Goenawan Mohamad. The result of the research has shown that auditory image and visual were the most two types of images that widely used and also the formula of the objective correlative had also been applied to deliver the emotional ideas in this book of poems. The implications in language learning were aimed to analyze the physical and mental elements of poems in High school.Imaji dan korelasi objektif yang terdapat dalam puisi merupakan hal yang penting dan perlu untuk dianalisis secara mendalam. Hal ini menjadi penting kaitannya dalam pembelajaran bahasa di sekolah sekaligus menjadi permasalahan dalam penelitian yang bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif ini. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan makna puisi dengan cara mengindentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis imaji, sumber imaji, korelasi objektif, serta mengimplikasikannya pada pembelajaran bahasa SMA. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah kumpulan puisi Don Quixote karya Goenawan Mohamad. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan imaji auditoris dan visual adalah dua jenis imaji yang paling banyak digunakan serta formula korelasi objektif diterapkan secara maksimal untuk menyampaikan ide-ide yang bersifat emosional dalam kumpulan sajak ini. Pengimplikasian dalam pembelajaran bahasa ditujukan untuk menganalisis unsur fisik dan batin puisi di Sekolah Menengah Atas.Kata kunci: imaji, korelasi objektif, puisi.

Abstract

This research prupose to deskribe the first character behavior who “Hasanah” who follow from the fisrt Character of “Verses of Love” novel by Habiburrahman El Shirazy relevance with the education Character in Senior High School by Learning Literature. The method used in this research is deskriptive qualitative method. The source data in this research is the “Verses of Love” novel. One result of this research showed that the first character behavior who “Hasanah” reflection to behavior in iman and taqwa such as Honesty, Istiqamah, Amanah, Qanaah, (Prized), Tawakal, Tabligh, Patient, Loyal, and Solidarity. The relevance with the character education in senior High School by Learning Literature reflection to honesty valve, religious, dicipline, tolerance, responsible, sosial care who can be follow for all student and apply in the every day life.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan perilaku tokoh utama yang ‘Hasanah’ yang dapat diteladani dari tokoh utama dalam novel “Ayat-Ayat Cinta” karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy relevansinya dengan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran sastra di SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah buku novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perilaku tokoh utama yang “Hasanah” cerminan perilaku iman dan taqwa meliputi sifat kejujuran, istiqamah, amanah, qanaah (syukur), tawakal, tabligh, sabar, taat, dan setia kawan. relevansi dengan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran sastra di SMA tercermin pada nilai kejujuran, religius, displin, toleransi, tanggung jawab, peduli sosial yang dapat dijadikan teladan untuk para siswa dan diamalkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Kata kunci: nilai kejujuran, perilaku hasanah, religious.
