Abstract

This research is intended to produce physics learning students’ book using multirepresentation approach for the work and energy subject which is developed in an attractive, easy, useful and effective way as a learning resource. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Banyak, Lampung Tengah. This research used research and development method. The trial subjects of the research development product consists of expert designers, the expert of content/learning materials, one for one test and a small group test. The conclusion of this study is that had been produced a product in the form of students’ book for physics learning using multirepresentation approach for the work and energy subject that is attractive, easy, and useful. The students’ book is effective to be used as a learning media based on the acquisition of learning outcomes of students which achieved percentage 77.4 % for the students who completed the minimal passing grade criterion.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku siswa dengan pendekatan multirepresentasi pada materi Usaha dan Energi yang dikembangkan secara menarik, mudah, bermanfaat, dan efektif sebagai sumber belajar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Banyak, Lampung Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development atau penelitian pengembangan. Subjek uji coba produk penelitian pengembangan ini terdiri atas ahli desain, ahli isi/materi pembelajaran, uji satu lawan satu (one for one) dan uji kelompok kecil. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dihasilkan produk berupa buku siswa pembelajaran fisika dengan pendekatan multirepresentasi pada materi usaha dan energi yang menarik, mudah, dan bermanfaat. Buku siswa dinyatakan efektif digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berdasarkan perolehan hasil belajar siswa yang mencapai persentase 77,4 % siswa tuntas KKM.Kata kunci: buku siswa, pendekatan multirepresentasi, pengembangan

Abstract

The learning result is influenced by student critical student’s thinking ability, and can be improved by using test form. This research aims to knowing: (1) the different of learning result by using of essay test form and reasoning plural option; (2) the different learning result seen from critical thinking ability in high and low category; (3) the interaction between test form with critical thinking ability in improving learning result. The research has been held in SMP N 19 Bandar Lampung of student from class VIIIB and VIIIC. Sample technique that is used by purposive sampling. The desain of is factorial 2x2. Data to analized and tested by using Two Way ANOVA. Based on the result: (1) there is the different of learning result between using of essay test form and reasoning plural option; (2) there is the different learning result seen from critical thinking ability; (3) ) the interaction between test form with critical thinking ability in improving learning result.Hasil belajar dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan dapat ditingkatkan menggunakan bentuk tes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan bentuk tes uraian dan pilihan jamak beralasan; (2) perbedaan hasil belajar dilihat dari kemampuan berpikir kritis kategori tinggi dan rendah; (3) interaksi antara bentuk tes dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam peningkatan hasil belajar. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 19 Bandar Lampung kelas VIIIB dan VIIIC. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cara purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah Factorial 2x2. Data dianalisis dan diuji menggunakan analisis varian dua jalur (Two Way ANOVA). Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara menggunakan bentuk tes uraian dan pilihan jamak beralasan; (2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dilihat dari kemampuan berpikir kritis; (3) terdapat interaksi antara bentuk tes dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam peningkatan hasil belajar.Kata kunci: Bentuk tes, kemampuan berpikir kritis, hasil belajar

Abstract

The purpose this reaserach is: to determine the increase in cognitive learning outcomes of students, to grow the students Science Process Skills, to form the character of students, to improve activities of the students, grow the attitudes of students who the use of simulation ICT media as supplement to demonstrate on measuring instruments. Research has been done in the first semester of 2013/2014 in SMP Negeri 1 Belalau, West Lampung. The population is every students of class VII while the samples were class VII A of 24 students. The research design used is a One-Shot Case Study.The results is use the simulation ICT media as supplement to demonstrate on measuring instruments are increase in cognitive learning outcomes of students, to grow the science process skills of the students, form the character of the students, to improve the activities of the students, and grow a positive attitudes of students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, menumbuhkan KPS, membentuk karakter, mengembangkan aktivitas, menumbuhkan sikap siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK simulasi sebagai suplemen demonstrasi pada pembelajaran alat ukur. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2013/2014 di SMP Negeri 1 Belalau, Lampung Barat. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII sedangkan sampel yaitu kelas VII A dengan jumlah 24 siswa. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan memilih 1 kelas secara random dari 6 kelas yang ada. Hasil penelitian menggunakan media TIK simulasi sebagai suplemen demonstrasi pada pembelajaran alat ukur terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa, dapat menumbuhkan KPS siswa, dapat membentuk karakter siswa, dapat mengembangkan aktivitas siswa, dan dapat menumbuhkan sikap positif siswa.Kata kunci: aktivitas, karakter, keterampilan proses sains, media TIK simulasi, suplemen demonstrasi

Abstract

Assessment plays a very important role in improving student’s physics learning result. However, the less variety of assessment used by the teacher causes the low score of student’s physics learning result. One type of assessment used in the research that can increase student’s physics learning result is Ongoing Assessment IF-AT (Immediate Feedback Assessment Technique). This kind of as-sessment is not only applied when the learning is over, but also done continuously when the learning process happens, that are: at the beginning of learning, whilst learning, and at the end of the learning process. This research also supported by Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. Objective of this research are to know the influence score of Ongoing Assessment IF-AT technique toward score of student’s physics learning result through PBL model. The data score of Ongoing Assessment IF-AT technique is obtained from the average score of multiple-choice test of IF-AT technique conducted from 3 meetings, while the data score of learning result is obtained from cross-technique multiple-choice test conducted in the last meet-ing. Research results show that there is a positive linear influence score of Ongo-ing Assessment IF-AT technique toward score of student’s physics learning result through PBL model.Keywords : Score of learning result, score of ongoing assessment IF-AT technique,Problem Based Learning (PBL) model.

Abstract

The aims of the research are to: (1) identify the improvement of students learning outcomes by using mind map and; (2) the creativity influence of mind map to the students learning outcomes at the subject of optical instruments. The research was conducted in the class of X.3 at SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo east Lampung, amount of the student have 31 person in the second semester 2012/2013 with optical instrument subject. This research design has use Pre-Experimental Design, and type of that design has One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, and than the data were analyzed by Paired Sample T Test to determine the improvement of students learning outcomes and than Simple Linear Regression to determine creativity influence of mind map to the students learning outcomes with use SPSS 17.0. The results of the research showed that :(1) There was an significantly average improvement of students learning outcomes by using mind map; (2) there was a positively and linearly significant creativity influence of mind map to the students learning outcomes at the subject of optical instruments.Kata kunci: hasil belajar siswa, kreativitas, peta pikiran

Abstract

Based on the result of observation and interview with the physics teacher of grade nine in SMPN 27 Bandar Lampung, it is known that geology which related to tsunami phenomenon is not thought and considered as additional material. The aim of this study is to compare the result of student’s cognitive, affective, and psychometric achievement using learning cycle 5E in indoor, outdoor, and combination of both learning strategies. From the result of the study, it shows that there is difference of cognitive achievement in learning tsunami mitigation using indoor and outdoor cycle learning model. There is no difference between students affective achievement in tsunami mitigation learning using learning cycle model indoor and outdoor. There is difference in students psychometric achievement in tsunami mitigation learning using learning cycle model indoor and outdoor.Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan guru mata pelajaran fisika kelas IX SMP Negeri 27 Bandar Lampung, diketahui bahwa materi kebumian yang menyangkut fenomena tsunami cenderung tidak diajarkan dan dianggap sebagai materi pengayaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran learning cycle 5E pada perlakuan cara belajar indoor, outdoor, dan kombinasi keduanya. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran mitigasi tsunami dengan model learning cycle indoor dan outdoor. Tidak ada perbedaan hasil belajar afektif siswa pada pembelajaran mitigasi tsunami dengan model learning cycle indoor dan outdoor. Ada perbedaan hasil belajar psikomotorik siswa pada pembelajaran mitigasi tsunami dengan model learning cycle indoor dan outdoor.Kata kunci: learning cycle 5E, mitigasi, tsunami.

Abstract

Learning conventional always centered around teacher, impressed harm to the students especially of students which is more capable low visible tend more passive in learning, so necessary kind of classroom that can make students incentivized and the results of learning increase, that is learning cycle 5 phase.The study is done to know the effectivity of model learning lc5e consisting of 5 phase against the study result of the students. The purpose of this research was to determine the efficiency of LC5E learning model consisting of 5 phases of acquisition of student learning outcomes: ( 1 ) the difference average study result of the students who learning use the model of learning lc5e with conventional ( in ) ( 2 ) a model of learning more effective in increasing study result of the students in learning physics. The design of this research was using design one shot case study. Study result of the measured from value the evaluation posttest. Abstract

Through this classroom action research it is expected to be an alternative to increase the cognitive skill and the result of student’s physics learning. Before holding the research, an interview was done to student’s then the researcher used instruments which were already valid and reliable to know the metacognitive skill of student’s. After the research process, it was revealed that there was an increasing of the student’s metacognitive skill. They were in circle 1, 2 and 3 which categorized as “good”. In the cognitive aspect there was a significant increase and they are categorized “complete” in the psychomotor aspect, there was also an increase of the student’s learning achievement but it was not so significant. In the other hand, the affective aspect of student’s learning activity, there was also an increase.Melalui penelitian tindakan kelas ini, diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan metakognisi dan hasil belajar fisika siswa. Sebelum penelitian, dilakukan wawancara terhadap siswa, kemudian ditinjaklanjuti dengan menggunakan instrumen yang telah valid dan reliabel untuk mengetahui keterampilan metakognisi siswa. Setelah proses penelitian diperoleh data peningkatan keterampilan metakognisi dan hasil belajar siswa setiap siklusnya, yaitu pada siklus I, II dan III dengan kategori “baik”. Pada aspek kognitif terjadi peningkatan yang sangat baik setiap siklusnya dengan kategori “tuntas”. Pada aspek psikomotor hasil belajar siswa juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan meskipun tidak signifikan. Sedangkan pada hasil belajar aspek afektif juga terjadi peningkatan.Kata kunci: metacognitive skill, ongoing assessment, penelitian tindakan kelas.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to know: the correlation of creative thinking ability with learning results; correlation of motivation with learning result;correlation of creative thinking ability and motivation with learning results. This research used one-shot case study design. In the process of learning it uses students’ working sheets (LKK) based on PBL.The creative thinking ability can be measured by giving written test questions after the learning process has been done, learning motivation is acquired by motivation questionnaire, and learning results data can be measured by the posttest.The data analysis used the normality test, homogeneity, linearity, correlation and hypothesis test. Based on this research, it can be concluded that: there are positive and significant correlation between creative thinking abilities with learning results of 0.541; there are positive and significant correlation between motivation and learning results of 0.670; there are positive and significant correlation between creative thinking ability and motivation with learning results of 0.616.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: Hubungan kemampuan berfikir kreatif dengan hasil belajar; Hubungan motivasi dengan hasil belajar; Hubungan kemampuan berfikir kreatif dan motivasi dengan hasil belajar.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one-shot case study. Pada proses pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar yaitu LKK berbasis PBL. Kemampuan berfikir kreatif diukur dengan memberikan soal tes tertulis setelah melakukan proses pembelajaran, motivasi belajar diperoleh dengan angket motivasi, dan data hasil belajar diukur dengan posttest. Analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, linearitas, uji korelasi dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa: ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antarakemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan hasil belajar sebesar 0,541; ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antaramotivasi dengan hasil belajar sebesar 0,670; ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuanberpikir kreatif dan motivasidengan hasil belajar sebesar 0,616.Kata kunci: berfikir kreatif, hasil belajar, motivasi.

Abstract

The effevtiveness of using assessment rubrics IF-AT (Immediate Feedback Assessment Technique) for the learning outcomes. Teachers in assessing students usually use the conventional way, by using the conventional multiple choice. Assessment in the conventional way deemed less effective, to overcome these problems it is necessary to be given a new assessment techniques, one of which is the assessment rubric IF-AT. The effectiveness of the application of assessment rubrics IF-AT in improving student learning outcomes should be determined by comparing it with the conventional multiple choice (non IF-AT), the research conducted by implementing the use of assessment rubric IF-AT on Archimedes’s law materilas. The results of this research show that there was a significant differences between the classes that use the rubric asesemen IF-AT and Non IF-AT, where the application of the assessment rubric IF-AT is more effective in improving student learning outcomes assessment techniques compared to conventional multiple choice (non-IF-AT).Keywords: effectiveness, assessment, IF-AT (Immediate Feedback Assessment Technique), learning outcomes.
