Abstract

Nowadays, the students' book only emphasize its mathematical representation without being inserted appropiate approach in learning process whereas physics needs science essence in its learning process which is not only focus on math solving but also focus on concept comprehension. The purpose of this research was to produce the students' book with scientific approach and base of multirepresentation in impulse and momentum for senior high school which has been developed to be interested, easy, useful and effective to be used as learning resources. The method of this research used research and development method. The research had been done for the students grade X of SMA Paramarta had showed that the product was interested, easy, useful and effective as learning resources.Selama ini buku siswa fisika yang ada cenderung hanya menekankan representasi matematis saja tanpa disisipkan pendekatan yang sesuai dengan proses pembelajaran, padahal fisika merupakan cabang ilmu yang menuntut proses pembelajaranya sesuai dengan hakikat IPA yang tidak hanya berpusat pada penyelesaian masalah matematis tetapi juga pemahaman konsep yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa buku siswa dengan pendekatan scientific berbasis multirepresentasi materi impuls dan momentum untuk siswa SMA yang dikembangkan secara menarik, mudah, bermanfaat dan efektif sebagai sumber belajar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Hasil uji coba produk yang ditujukan kepada siswa kelas X SMA Paramarta menunjukkan bahwa produk menarik, mudah digunakan, bermanfaat, dan dinyatakan efektif sebagai sumber pembelajaranKata kunci: buku siswa, multirepresentasi, pendekatan scientific.

Abstract

The result of interview and questioner showed that SMA Al-Kautsar needed interesting students book for reading, making engage students more actively, and improving their quality of memorize. Therefore, development research has been done in SMA Al-Kautsar. The purpose of this research is to develop students book supplement based on scientific approach using mind mapping. The research and development modify instructional media development procedures of Sadiman, et al consist of design expert test and material expert test; interesting test, easier test, usefulness test; and effectiveness test. The final product is the students book supplement using mind mapping scientific approach based on Newtons law of second. The conclusion is the students book supplement based on scientific approach and Newtons law of the second using mind mapping with the interesting, easier, useful, and effective in learning.Hasil wawancara dan angket menunjukkan bahwa SMA Al-Kautsar membutuhkan buku siswa yang menarik untuk dibaca, melibatkan siswa aktif, dan meningkatkan daya ingat. Oleh sebab itu penelitian pengembangan telah dilakukan di SMA Al-Kautsar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengembangkan suplemen buku siswa yang menggunakan mind mapping berbasis scientific approach. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini memodifikasi prosedur pengembangan sadiman, dkk terdiri atas tahap uji ahli desain dan uji ahli materi; uji kemenarikan, kemudahan, kemanfaatan; serta uji keefektifan. Produk akhir berupa suplemen buku siswa menggunakan mind mapping berbasis scientific approach materi Hukum II Newton. Kesimpulan penelitian ini dihasilkan suplemen buku siswa menggunakan mind mapping berbasis scientific approach materi Hukum II Newton dengan kualitas menarik, memudahkan, sangat bermanfaat dan efektif dalam pembelajaran.Kata kunci: hukum II Newton, mind mapping, scientific approach, suplemen buku siswa.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop students book supplement using mind mapping model. This development research adopted procedures of Sugiyono. This product has been experimented at X IPA3 grade in MAN 1 Metro, and the results are score of attractiveness is 3,35 with category very attractive, and then the score of easiness is 3,19 with category easy, and score of expedience is 3,15 with category expedience. From the experiment, of effectiveness test showed that the sore of completeness is 76.67% with the average score is 79.83. In conclution, the product of this development research is a book supplement for student that have been validated and suitable.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan suplemen buku siswa yang menggunakan model mind mapping. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini mengadopsi prosedur pengembangan Sugiyono. Uji eksternal dilakukan di kelas X IPA3 dan diperoleh skor kemenarikan, kemudahan, dan kemanfaatan produk suplemen buku siswa secara berurutan memiliki skor 3,35 kategori Sangat Menarik, skor 3,19 kategori Mudah, dan skor 3,15 kategori Bermanfaat. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 76,67 % dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 79,83. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menghasilkan produk suplemen buku siswa materi Gerak Melingkar menggunakan model mind mapping yang telah tervalidasi dan layak digunakan. Abstract

This developmental research was intended to make an interactive instructional media of magnetism based on information and communication technology (ICT) that has an interesting quality, easy to use, very useful and effective. Media contains learning materials, animation, simulation, sound, video, exercises and competency tests. Development procedures are used to modify the design of instructional media development by Sadiman, et al. With the stages of work procedure that comprise needs analysis, setting objectives, subject materials, making a synopsis, script initial, prototype production, evaluation by material expert test dan the design expert test, revision, final script, product trials, and the final program. The result of one on one test and field test have proved media has an very interesting quality, very easy to use, and very useful for students. Field test data shows the students achievement of minimum completeness criteria for post-test results as much as 91.30% of the total students so that the product is effective to be used as an instructional media. Keywords: research and development, interactive instructional media, magnetism

Abstract

The aim of this research was to develop the product of bulletin in the term of comic based on scientific approach in learning science in the topic of refraction which is interesting, easy, useful, and effective as a learning media. This developmental research modified the design of developmental research by Sadiman et. al. While testing of product was done by expert test, one on one test, and field try test. The results of conducted bulletin comic obtained interesting score of 3.32withvery interesting category, ease score of 3.14with easy category, benefit score 3.41 with useful categoryandthe effectiveness withthe percentage of 81.48% of studentswas completed the KKM. Based ontheseresultsit can be concluded that thebulletin comic which has been produced was very interesting, easy to use,very useful,and effectiveas a learning media.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan produk berupa buletin berbentuk komik berbasis scientific approach pada pembelajaran IPA terpadu topik pembiasan cahaya yang menarik, mudah, bermanfaat, dan efektif sebagai media pembelajaran. Desain penelitian ini memodifikasi penelitian pengembangan Sadiman, dkk. Sedangkan pengujian produk dilakukan melalui uji ahli, uji satu lawan satu dan uji coba lapangan. Hasil penggunaan buletin komik diperoleh skor kemenarikan 3,32 dengan kategori sangat menarik, skor kemudahan 3,14 dengan kategori mudah, skor kemanfaatan 3,41 dengan kategori sangat bermanfaat dan keefektifan dengan persentase 81,48% siswa tuntas KKM. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa buletin komik yang dihasilkan sangat menarik, mudah digunakan, sangat bermanfaat, dan efektif sebagai media pembelajaran.Kata kunci: buletin komik, media pembelajaran, scientific approach

Abstract

This research aims to know average mastery students in Learning Skills through sika Internet process of Science (KPS) and the concept of Learning approach (PK). Experimental design on this research uses Kuasi Experimental Design with Posttest-Only type Control Design. Data analysis techniques mastery PK using an average score of an average mastery of concepts and hypothesis testing using the test for Independent Samples T Test, While the concept of mastery KPS data analysis using data based on the learning process of observation and hypothesis testing using the test for Independent Samples T Test.Based on concept mastery test obtained average mastery students in experimental class 1 (KPS approach) se be sar 90 (due diligence). On the experimental class 2 (PK approach) gained an average mastery students exactly sar 80 (completely). Based on the results of calculations known drift score concept mastery students in classes of KPS 79,32% (completely), while the average grade PK, known to score students ' mastery of 65,60% (completely).These results indicate that KPS approach more effectively used as an effort to promote mastery of the concepts students in learning.Keywords: Science Process Skills Approach (KPS), Concept Learning Approach (PK), mastery of the concepts students.

Abstract

The purpose of this developmental research was to elaborate a thermal energy into electrical energy converter device with the user manual for physics learning of electrical energy resources. The method of this research was research and development (R D) based on Suyanto, the steps that conducted comprise of need analysis, identification of sources power, identification of product specifications, product development, product testing, and the final production. Based on the test result, it was known that product has specifications: the correlatoin sensitivity of raising the temperature to the voltage is 0.702 mV/C; to the electrical current is 0.035 mA/C; and to the electrical power is 10.927 mW/C. The results of the feasibility test of thermal energy into electrical energy converter device with the user manual showed that the product is proper to use by the score of 3.692 on the physical eligibility test and 2.667 on the test design experts.Tujuan penelitian pengembangan ini adalah mengembangkan alat konversi energi panas menjadi energi listrik beserta petunjuk penggunaannya untuk pembelajaran fisika materi sumber energi listrik. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan menurut Suyanto, tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, identifikasi sumber daya, identifikasi spesifikasi produk, pengembangan produk, uji produk, dan produksi akhir. Berdasarkan hasil uji yang telah dilakukan, diketahui spesifikasi produk yaitu: sensitivitas hubungan antara peningkatan suhu terhadap tegangan sebesar 0,702 mV/C; terhadap arus listrik sebesar 0,035 mA/C; dan terhadap daya listrik sebesar 10,927 mW/C. Hasil Uji kelayakan alat konversi energi panas menjadi energi listrik dan user manual menyatakan bahwa produk layak untuk digunakan dengan skor 3,692 pada uji kelayakan fisik dan skor 2,667 pada uji ahli desain.Kata kunci: energi listrik, energi panas, konversi energi, pengembangan.

Abstract

The aim of this study were to (1) grow students' critical thinking ability by implementing problem based learning model, and (2) describe the application of problem based learning model in an experiment class. The design of this research used non-equivalent control group design. The results showed that (1) problem based learning model had grown students' critical thinking ability, which was proven by the experiment and control class obtained N-gain 0.71 (high category) and 0.55 (medium category), and (2) problem based learning model has been applied in average score 3.82 (good category).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, dan (2) mendeskripsikan keterlaksanaan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada kelas eksperimen. Desain penelitian menggunakan non-equivalent control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) model pembelajaran berbasis masalah mampu menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terbukti pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh skor N-gain 0.71 dengan kategori tinggi sementara pada kelas kontrol skor N-gain 0.55 dengan kategori sedang, dan (2) model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terlaksana dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 3.82 (terlaksana dengan kategori baik).Kata kunci: model pembelajaran, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, berpikir kritis.

Abstract

This study aims to know: (1) difference KPS assessed by student through peer assessment and teacher on guided inquiry learning; (2) difference KPS assessed by student through peer assessment and teacher on direct instruction; (3) interaction between assessor of KPS with learning model. Based on the study, data gathered in KPS assessed by student of peer assessment and teacher. The analysis results showed that the data distributed normally and homogeneously. The results of the study showed that: (1) there was difference KPS assessed by student through peer assessment and teacher on guided inquiry learning; (2) there was difference KPS assessed by student through peer assessment and teacher on direct instruction; (3) there was no interaction between assessor of KPS with learning model.Kata kunci: KPS, pembelajaran langsung, penilaian sejawat

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a supplement book on reflection and refraction optical material using the interactive whiteboard which is attractive, easy, useful, and effective to be used as a teaching guide for junior high school teacher in VIII grade. The development procedures used is according to Suyanto (2009) which consists of: need analysis, resource identification, identification of product specifications, product development, internal test / feasibility of the product, the external test products, and production. The external test results showed that the attractiveness of the books students in a good level with a score 3.20, the level of ease with a score 3.00, the level of usefulness with a score 3.00, and its effective to be used as a teacher's guide because its indicated by the results of normalized gained 0.8. It showed that the student book had been tested and was able to be used as a learning medium.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan buku suplemen materi optik pemantulan dan pembiasan dengan menggunakan interactive whiteboard yang menarik, mudah, bermanfaat, dan efektif digunakan sebagai panduan pembelajaran untuk guru SMP kelas VIII. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan menurut Suyanto (2009) terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu: analisis kebutuhan, identifikasi sumber daya, identifikasi spesifikasi produk, pengembangan produk, uji internal/kelayakan produk, uji eksternal produk, produksi. Hasil uji eksternal menunjukkan buku siswa memiliki tingkat kemenarikan baik dengan skor 3,20, tingkat kemudahan baik dengan skor 3,00, tingkat kebermanfaatan baik dengan skor 3,00, dan sangat efektif digunakan sebagai panduan guru ditunjukkan dengan hasil normalisasi gain berniliai 0,8. Ini menunjukan bahwa buku siswa telah teruji dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.Kata kunci: buku suplemen, interactive whiteboard, pemantulan dan pembiasan.
