Abstract

The problem discussed in this research was influence of skill representation using contextual teaching and learning toward junior high school students’ science literacy. The purpose of this research was to determine the influence skill representation toward science literacy and increase of science literacy using contextual teaching and learning. This research was done at SMP Negeri 29 Bandarlampung using a class by the number of 38 students and using the design minimal control (One-Group Pretest-Posttest). To test the influence was done correlation and simple linear regression between the data representation and data skills posttest scientific literacy, whereas to determine the increase of science literacy was done calculation of the percentage increase in score N-gain and test of paired samples t test from data pretest and posttest of students’ science literacy. The result of this research showed that (1) there was strong and significant positive linear influence between the influence skill representation toward students’ science literacy with contribution score of 41,86% and regression equation is Y = 6,156+1,065X, and (2) there was significant increase from scientific literacy using skill representation with the increase score of 38% and the average N-gain value of 0,49 which is categorized as medium category.Kata kunci: literasi sains, pembelajaran kontekstual, skill representasi,

Abstract

Remedial learning will be more effective if the process is done through media or other models which are different from the previous one. It is assumed that the use of media and methods will help the students to pass the score which has been determined. The purpose of this research is describing the result of the remedial learning, science process skills, character, activity, and attitude of the students. This research is done in junior high school 8 Bandar Lampung. The design of this research is one shot case study. N-gain score is used to analyze the data while paired sample t-test is implemented to examine the hypothesis. Based on the score gathered, it can be seen that the mean score of the students is middle score. The result of this research indicates that the learning process through ICT tutorial media can be used as an effort to improve the result of learning process in remedial learning.Pembelajaran remedial berjalan efektif jika pembelajaran remedial dilakukan dengan media atau model yang berbeda dari pembelajaran sebelumnya, sehingga membantu siswa memenuhi ketuntasan KKM. Penelitian bertujuan Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar remedial, KPS, karakter, aktifitas, dan sikap. Penelitian dilakukan di SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung. Desain penelitian One shot case study. Teknik analisis data hasil belajar menggunakan skor N-gain dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-Test. Berdasarkan skor rata-rata N-gain diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar dengan kategori sedang. Hasil tersebut mengindikasi-kan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK tutorial dapat digunakan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran remedial.Kata kunci: aktifitas, hasil belajar, keterampilan proses sains, media TIK tutorial, remedial.

Abstract

This research aims to know about student’s perceptions affect about scientists toward physics understanding, student’s scientific attitude toward physics understanding and student’s perception about scientists and scientific attitude toward physics understanding. Design of this research by one shot case study. The result of study shows that: there is any student’s perception affect about scientists toward physics understanding, there are any student’s scientific attitude toward physics understanding and there are any student’s perception about scientist and scientific attitude toward physics understanding.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang saintis terhadap hasil belajar fisika, pengaruh sikap ilmiah siswa terhadap hasil belajar fisika dan pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang saintis dan sikap ilmiah terhadap hasil belajar fisika. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan one shot case study. Hasil penelitian yaitu: terdapat pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang saintis terhadap hasil belajar fisika , terdapat pengaruh sikap ilmiah siswa terhadap hasil belajar fisika dan terdapat pengaruh persepsi siswa tentang saintis dan sikap ilmiah terhadap hasil belajar fisika.Kata kunci: persepsi siswa, sikap ilmiah, hasil belajar, model learning cycle 5E.

Abstract

The goals of this research were to determine the differences in cognitive learning outcomes, describe the Science Process Skills (SPS), the character, the activities and students’ attitudes toward the use of media ICT tutorial as a supplement experiment in the learning measuring instruments. The research design used One-Shot Case Study. The sample of this research was class VIID of SMPN 2 Way Tenong randomly. The data was analyzed by using pair sample t-test. The researcher concludes by the use of media ICT tutorial as supplement experiment that the differences in cognitive learning outcomes can bring up SPS, to build character, to increase the activity of students and to foster positive attitudes of students toward the use of ICT media tutorial as a supplement experiment in the learning measuring instruments.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hasil belajar ranah kognitif, mendeskripsikan Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS), karakter, aktivitas dan sikap siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK tutorial sebagai suplemen eksperimen terhadap peningkatan. Desain penelitian menggunakan One-Shot Case Study. Sampel penelitian ini kelas VIID SMPN 2 Way Tenong menggunakan teknik random. Kesimpulan penelitian setelah pemanfaatan media TIK tutorial sebagai suplemen eksperimen terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif, memunculkan KPS, membentuk karakter, meningkatkan aktivitas siswa serta menumbuhkan sikap positif siswa terhadap pemanfaatan media TIK tutorial sebagai suplemen eksperimen dalam pembelajaran alat ukur.Kata kunci: media TIK tutorial, suplemen eksperimen, keterampilan proses sains, karakter siswa, aktivitas siswa.

Abstract

Perception student is the perspective student to an object. on this research it is learning media. While the learning media is an important tool in learning a lesson. Current media usage has grown with the Technology Information and Communi-cation who gave birth media based computer, so it is necessary to develop media animation simulation. This research is done at SMA Persada Bandar Lampung, using a class that X.1 class with a sample population of 35 students from the class X. This research to determine the effect of perceptions student about media animation physics simulation to result learning. This research data perception students regarding media animation simulation physics used questionnaires completed by the students and the students have calculated the value of the end. As for the data result learning obtained from the test in the form of multiple choice questions that have been recapitulated in value. Then to examine the effect of the normality test, linearity, correlation and simple linear regression. Results of research based on the analysis of hypothesis testing are a very strong effect perception student about media animation simulation physics to result learning with the value of r is 0.996 with a positive direction and the regression equation is Y = 7.858 + 0.939 X on the material in class X.1 at SMA Persada Bandar Lampung. Abstract

The objective of this product development was to develop an instrument for product assessment students’ of physics’ grade XI of science 1, where the product was experiment guide instruments referring to experiment result reports to measure students’ learning results. Thus, it was required develop an experiment guide instrument that was able to improve students’ skills in expressing opinions and learning autonomously. Results of material test by experts and developed contents, a good score category and proper to use for learning product was 3.00. Instrument test results by experts obtained score 3.62. This score was categorized as a good score. The one on one test results showed that developed product quality was very interesting, easy to use, and useful. This was categorized as good because it belonged to range of average values of 3.56.Tujuan dari pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengembangkan instrumen penilaian produk fisika siswa SMA kelas XI IPA 1, dimana produk yang dimaksud merupakan perangkat panduan praktikum yang mengacu pada laporan hasil praktikum untuk mengukur hasil belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu perlu dikembangkan perangkat panduan praktikum yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengemukakan pendapat dan belajar secara mandiri. Berdasarkan hasil uji ahli materi dan isi yang dikembangkan diperoleh skor yang dikatagorikan baik dan layak digunakan sebagai produk pembelajaran yaitu sebesar 3,00. Pada uji ahli instrumen penilaian diperoleh skor hasil uji sebesar 3,62. Skor tersebut dikatagorikan sangat baik. Sedangkan hasil uji satu lawan satu memperlihatkan bahwa kualitas produk yang dikembangkan sangat menarik, mudah digunakan dan bermanfaat. Hal tersebut dikatagorikan sangat baik karena masuk dalam rentang nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,56.Kata kunci: hasil belajar siswa, instrumen penilaian produk, pengembangan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine: (1) The average difference between the use of student motivation guided inquiry method with modified free inquiry method, (2) the average difference in student learning outcomes between the use of guided inquiry with the inquiry method freely modified. Population were all eighth grade students in the second semester in the SMP Negeri 1 Candipuro, while samples taken VIIId the class as a class using guided inquiry and VIIIe class as a class that uses a modified method of free inquiry. Sampling technique using cluster random sampling. The results from this research is: (1) There is a difference in mean average student motivation between the use of guided inquiry method with the modified method of free inquiry, (2) There is a difference in average student learning outcomes between the use of guided inquiry with modified method of free inquiry. The average value of learning outcomes in the classroom guided inquiry is 70.87 while in the class of non-modified inquiry is 66.21 and the average value of motivation in classroom guided inquiry is 69.57. while in the class of non-modified inquiry is 65.90. Abstract

Based on the survey results of 25 physics teachers in Bandar Lampung related to the needed of authentic rubrics assessment of affective domains showed that 62.4% of teachers answered necessary, 32.8% of them answered very necessary, 4.8% of them answered less necessary and the rest of 0% answered unnecessary and very unnecessary, so the researcher need development research aiming to develop the authentic assessment rubrics of affective domains in high school physics learning at character education and implemented the result of this development products in school as a reference on learning system of monitoring and evaluating. These development included needs analysis, initial product of development, expert validation, product revision, and trials by using the fasibility and effectiveness instruments of rubric. The final products were used for assessment by teacher. The results of the trials stated that 100% of students are able to bring all indicators of affective aspects and to reach the effectiveness point of rubricsat 3.57 with very good category.Berdasarkan hasil survei 25 guru fisika di Bandar Lampung terkait perlunya rubrik asesmen otentik aspek afektif yang menunjukkan bahwa 62,4% guru menjawab perlu, 32,8% guru sangat perlu, 4,8% guru kurang perlu dan 0% menjawab tidak perlu dan sangat tidak perlu, maka peneliti perlu melakukan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan rubrik asesmen otentik aspek afektif pada pembelajaran fisika SMA bermuatan pendidikan karakter dan menerapkan produk hasil pengembangan tersebut di sekolah-sekolah sebagai acuan dalam sistem penilaian dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Pengembangan tersebut meliputi analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan produk awal, validasi ahli, revisi produk, dan uji lapangan menggunakan instrumen kelayakan dan keefektifan rubrik. Produk akhir digunakan untuk melakukan penilaian oleh guru. Hasil uji lapangan menyatakan bahwa 100% siswa yang dapat memunculkan semua indikator aspek afektif dan mencapai keefektifan rubrik sebesar 3,57 dengan kategori sangat baik.Kata kunci: aspek afektif, pendidikan karakter, pengembangan produk, rubrik asesmen otentik.

Abstract

Most students assume that physics is the one of difficult subject because it uses many formulas, as a result, many of them just represent It mathematically. Therefore, this research was done to find out the influence of multiple representations skill to the result of physics learning through EXCLUSIVE learning model in temperature and heat topic. This research was done in the Second Semester in 2013-2014 at SMA Negeri 1 Pringsewu. The sample of this research was the students from 2A MIA class, the number of the students was 33. The data were collected through essay test. The results showed that there was a positive, linear and significant influence between multiple representations skill to physics learning result, with contribution of 39% as the value of determination coefficient (R Square).Banyak siswa menganggap fisika merupakan pelajaran yang sulit dan rumit karena terlalu banyak menggunakan rumus-rumus sehingga siswa lebih banyak merepresentasikan fisika hanya secara matematik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh skill multirepresentasi siswa terhadap hasil belajar fisika pada model pembelajaran EXCLUSIVE dengan materi pokok suhu dan kalor. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Semester Genap Tahun Ajaran 2013-2014 di SMA Negeri 1 Pringsewu. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas 2A MIA dengan jumlah 33 siswa. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes menggunakan soal uraian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh linear yang positif dan signifikan antara skill multirepresentasi siswa terhadap hasil belajar fisika, dengan kontribusi sebesar 39% yang merupakan nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square).Kata kunci: hasil belajar, model pembelajaran EXCLUSIVE, skill multirepresentasi.

Abstract

The research aim to determine the effect of: 1) interest in learning outcomes through interactive learning conceptual instruction; 2) learning way in learning outcomes through interactive learning conceptual instruction. The research was conducted at SMPN 2 Bukit Kemuning used the experimental class (class VIII C) with sample are 32 students. The process of learning used interactive conceptual instruction learning. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 17.0. The test results showed that: 1) there is an effect of interest in learning outcomes with interactive learning conceptual instruction as much 22%; 2) there is an effect of learning way in learning outcomes through interactive conceptual instruction as much 12%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh: 1) minat terhadap hasil belajar melalui pembelajaran interactive conceptual instruction; 2) cara belajar terhadap hasil belajar melalui pembelajaran interactive conceptual instruction. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 2 Bukit Kemuning menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen (kelas VIII C) dengan jumlah sampel 32 siswa. Proses pembelajaran menggunakan pembelajaran interactive conceptual instruction. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS 17.0. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa: 1) ada pengaruh minat terhadap hasil belajar dengan pembelajaran interactive conceptual instruction sebesar 22%; 2) ada pengaruh cara belajar terhadap hasil belajar melalui pembelajaran interactive conceptual instruction sebesar 12%.Kata kunci: minat, cara belajar, hasil belajar
