The scope of the study includes the Economic and Social science in the field of fisheries and marine fisheries in the form of marketing, fisheries international trading, fisheries agribusiness, fisheries sociology, the fishing industry, fisheries economics, fisheries resources economics, fisheries resources management, fisheries management plan, fisheries institutional and cooperatives as well as organizational behavior and human resource management.

Abstract

Mangrove ecosystem is a very important resource for the continuity of community life in coastal areas. Mangrove ecosystem in the coastal area of downstream Rokan district has decreased mangrove area because it is used as a pond area to reduce the production of mangrove litter as an ecological function that can be a carrying capacity of coastal capture fisheries. However, the use of coastal areas as pond areas provides economic benefits for aquaculture. This study aims to calculate the economic value of the Rokan Hilir Coastal mangrove ecosystem. This research was conducted in March-April 2019 in the survey method. Analysis to calculate the total economic value of the mangrove ecosystem is NET=ML+MTL+MP. The results showed the total economic benefit value of Rokan Hilir mangrove forest reached IDR 98.697.950.594 / year was a direct benefit value of IDR 701,425,106 / year, indirect benefits were obtained at IDR 94,606,056,000 / year, and the optional benefits reached IDR 3,512,126,520 / year. Mangrove ecosystems are ecosystems that provide many benefits to the Rokan Hilir Coastal community, so this ecosystem is highly expected to be sustainable.

Abstract

The growth of existing tourist in this time create emulation of tight business. To win an emulation, a company of including tourist have can give satisfaction to consumer, one of  its way is optimal of variables had by company that is marketing mix. This  research is executed at “ Wisata Bahari Lamongan” Lamongan, East Java. The purpose of this research are to analysis : (1) the influence of marketing mix by together to level satisfacation of tourism; (2) the influence of marketing mix by parsial to level satisfacation of tourism; (3) marketing mix variable most dominant  to level satisfacation of tourism. The methods of this reseach is survai. Random sampling is technique to take the sampel. To determine the amount of sampel to be taken by Maxsimum Likelihood Estimation (MLE). Result of research indicate that F calculate (16.262) > F tables (2.09), this means satisfacation of tourism influenced by various factor by together that is: product which is offer have taste beauty and typically; reached price; strategic location; in accordance with reality of promotion; accuracy and comunicative employees; clean phisycal evidance and the axistence of adequate facility. Although separately, the variable give influence to satisfacation of tourism, can be seen that t calculate > t tables. From seven variable, there is one valuable variable of negative, that is price. Its meaning, if to be increasingly of price hence satisfacation of tourism will be decrease. Location variable is dominant variable of invluence satisfacation of tourism, becouse is have value of t calculate highestly. Keyword : marketing mix, ancient and tourism satisfacation

Abstract

Rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) is sea crab which found on Indonesia waters. Rajungan also kind of fisheries comodity which have important economic value and high enough in Indonesia. This research doing for knowing supply chain of Rajungan from upstream to downstream at Pangkah Wetan Village’s Ujungpangkah District, Gresik. Method of research used descriptive with qualitative approach. Number of sample used amount 50 respondents therefore can be said sampling is full. Method of collected data using interview, observe, documentation, and literature review. Method of data analysis used describtive qualitative and enhanced with triangulasi. Result of analysis supply chain research rajungan comodities produced by researchers are there supplu chain’s flow where the difference is when fishermans borrow to their boss and fisherman who determining to own money. The member who run activitiy is fisherman, the large scale traders, the large scale traders large and companies. Market share of rajungan is great demand in international market likes United State of America, Singapore, China, Japan, and others. The trust among partners and making fisherman-company’s contract  deals is urgenly needed for advantages to both sides.

Abstract

The research was conducted in the coastal community environment of Panyuran Village, Tuban District, East Java Province in May 2018. The purpose of this research is to analyze the transformation of livelihood become breeder shrimp vannamei of coastal communities at Panyuran Village Tuban District. Research methodology used in this study; the research is descriptive with an approach to the phenomenon, Type of data used qualitative, the data sources are primary data and secondary data with the sampling technique used purposive sampling and snowball sampling technique, data validation used source triangulation, data analysis used interactive analysis Miles and Huberman’s model. The results showed that the phenomenon of livelihood transformation becomes seeding shrimp vannamei influenced by internal factors and external factors. The driving factors and inhibiting factors affect the acceleration or obstruction of the transformation process. This shows that the existence of a shrimp venture can help people to survive and increase living standards.

Abstract

Regulation of the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries No. 2 / 2015 about the prohibition of the use of cantrang in the State Fishery Management Area of the Republic of Indonesia is an effort of the Government to anticipate the destructive fishing, namely environmental damage and decrease of fish resources. The purpose of this research is to know repulsion and acceptability of cantrang fisherman to that Regulation. This descriptive research uses data collection techniques through surveys, interviews and documentation, and using questionnaires. This regulation has an impact on the cantrang fishing vessel should not operate, this causes unemployment for the crew, if the government implements that regulations then every ship does not require many crew. The existence of the prohibition of the use of cantrang nets cause increasing of the unemployment rate, when someone does not work it means that income begins to be hampered. On the other hand, the Regulation has a positive impact for the future in the form of sustainable of marine ecosystem. Keywords: perception, fishermen, fisheries and marine minister regulation no 2/2015, cantrang

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the competitiveness of Indonesian eel in the international market both comparative and competitive advantage. This type of research data is secondary data sourced from the United Nations Nation Database. The data analysis method uses Revealed Symmetric Comparative Advantage (RSCA), Export Product Dynamics (EPD) and Hirschman Herfindahl Index (HHI). Eel is a fishery commodity that has a potential export market. China is the main exporter of eel in the world with a share of 64%. Some EU member countries are still carrying out international trade in eel although CITES has included it in Appendix II as a protected species. The export of Indonesian eel consists of life, fresh and frozen. The comparative competitiveness of live and frozen eel is quite good while fresh eel is still low. The competitive advantage of Indonesian eel in the international market is still in the falling star quadrant. The concentration of the global eel market is based on the Herfindahl index that frozen eel is unconcentrated, it is mean that frozen eel is the most potential to be developed as an export commodity.

Abstract

Penelitian strategi pemasaran dalam meningkatkan volume penjualann pada PT.HATNI (Hasil Alam Tani Nelayan Indonesia) ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui dan mempelajari : Bagaimana profil keadaan umum PT. HATNI, Mengidentifikasi dan Menganalisis faktor internal dan eksternal perusahaan, Mengetahui dan Strategi pemasaran yang digunakan oleh PT. HATNI, Menyusun strategi pemasaran alternative untuk digunakan oleh PT.HATNI. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Focused Group Discussion (FGD), Alanisis IFAS (Internal Strategic Factors Summary) dan EFAS (External Strategic Factors Analysis Summary), Analisis SWOT dan diagram SWOT. Dari penelitian ini dapat di ketahui bahwa PT. PT. HATNI merupakan   perusahaan  pembekuan ikan yang berskala internasional Produk ungulan PT. HATNI adalah ikan kuniran. Faktor internal yang menjadi kekuatan yaitu produk bervariasi, lokasi strategis, hubungan baik dengan pemasok bahan baku, harga kompetitif. Yang menjadi kelemahan yaitu tingkat pendidikan karyawan, kurangnya promosi peralatan mesin masih sederhana, kualitas produk dan belum memiliki perencanaan pemasaran secara tertulis. Faktor eksternal yang menjadi peluang yaitu permintaan pasar, potensi sumberdaya alam, dukungan pemerintah, perkembangan teknologi informasi dan perubahan pola konsumen. yang menjadi ancaman adalah persaingan usaha sejenis, perubahan musim, dapat beralihnya konsumen, kondisi harga BBM dan informasi teknologi terbatas. Strategi pemasaran yang dijalankan oleh PT. HATNI menggunakan sistem kontrak. perhitungan matrik EFAS sebesar 0,50 dan matrik IFAS sebesar 1,45 yang kemudian digambarkan dalam analisis SWOT, maka dapat diketahui posisi PT. HATNI berada pada kuadran I. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa perusahaan mengunakan kekuatan untuk memanfaan peluang yang ada untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis matriks SWOT, maka alternatif strategi yang dapat diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: Strategi Perluasan Pasar, Strategi Diferensiasi Produk , Strategi Pemanfaatan suberdaya perusahaan yang ada, Strategi peningkatan Promosi, Strategi Peningkatan Kerjasama,  Strategi perbaikan  aliran  kerja perusahaan. Abstract

This study objectives to analyze the estimated development of the production of the fish catches, analyze the factors which affect on the production amount, and to analyze the base or non bases are on Malang Regency. The method used is quantitative and the type of secondary data from BPS and DKP with documentation collecting technique. Quantitative data analysis of this research are quadratic trend, multiple linear regression and LQ. The calculation shows that marine fisheries catches production has increased an average of 6.5%. Factors that affecting of the production increase are the number of fishing vessel and fishermen amount. While the average value of LQ during the last 5 years shows that Sumbermanjing Subdistrict is a base region so it has the opportunity to develop. Keywords: production, sea fish, estimation, influence, base

Abstract

The role of marketing institutions is important for conducting marketing activities, so that research has a purpose for: 1) knowing the market structure of gurame fish, 2) describing the behavior of gurame fish marketing institutions, 3) knowing the performance of marketing institutions for gurame fish in Kediri Regency. Type of research is descriptive using analysis of structure, conduct, and performance. Sampling techniques using purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques, data collection techniques by observation, direct interviews and documentation. The results of the study are based on market structure that is influenced by the number of sellers and buyers, barriers to entry and exit markets, and market information indicating that the formed market structure is oligopoly; There are still many marketing agency behaviors that harm several parties in marketing such as accounts payable, and other fraudulent practices; The marketing of gurame fish in Kediri Regecy cannot be said to be efficient because of the uneven distribution of marketing margins, costs, and profits of each institution, as well as the high margin value, costs, and profits from one of the marketing institutions, large-scale collectors.
