Abstract

The objectives of this research are to analyze the influence of firm financial performance on dividend policy and its effect to the firm value of manufacturer companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) for the periof of 2010-2012 and give recommendations as the completion upon this research. By applying  Generalized  Structured  Component  Analysis  (GSCA)  of  19  sample  used,  the  analysis attempts to examining the influence among variables. This research uses current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), return on common equity (ROE), earning per share (EPS), and price to book value (PBV) as the variables of firm financial performance, dividend payout ratio (DPR) as the variable of dividend policy, and closing stock price as the variable of firm value. Result of the research reveal that CR has no significant influence on DPR, however CR has a positive and signifant influence on stock price. DER has no significant influence to the DPR and also to the stock price. ROE, EPS, and PBV has a positive and significant influence to the DPR and also to the stock price. Furthermore, DPR has a positive and significant influence on stock price. The present research confirms that firm financial performance, dividend policy, and firm value is the essential and important aspect for the investors in determining the profitable stocks. Therefore, it is very useful for investors to considerate these variable of research in order to make the right investment decisions and do stock trading confidently.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan: (1) pengaruh profitabilitas (profitability) terhadap struktur modal perusahaan, (2) pengaruh tingkat pertumbuhan (growth) terhadap struktur modal perusahaan, (3) pengaruh profitabilitas (profitability) terhadap nilai perusahaan, (4) pengaruh tingkat pertumbuhan (growth) terhadap nilai perusahaan, (5) pengaruh struktur modal terhadap nilai perusahaan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah perusahaan real estate and property yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode tahun 2007 sampai dengan tahun 2011 dengan total sampel sebanyak 25 perusahaan. Teknis analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis PLS (Partial Least Square). Hasil analisis data membuktikan bahwa: (1) variabel profitabilitas (profitability) berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap variabel struktur modal, (2) variabel tingkat pertumbuhan (growth) berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap variabel struktur modal, (3) variabel profitabilitas (profitability) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel nilai perusahaan, (4) variabel tingkat pertumbuhan (growth) berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap variabel nilai perusahaan, (5) variabel struktur modal berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap variabel nilai perusahaan.   Kata kunci: profitabilitas (profitability), tingkat pertumbuhan (growth), struktur modal, dan nilai perusahaan.   The objectives of this research are to analyze and explain: (1) the effect of profitability on company’s capital structure, (2) the effect of growth on company’s capital structure, (3) the effect of profitability on company’s value, (4) the effect of growth on company’s value, (5) the effect of capital structure on company’s value. The population of this research are real estate and property companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in period 2007-2011 with total sample of 25 companies. The data are analyzed by using PLS (Partial Least Square) method. Analysis result explain that: (1) profitability has no significant affect on capital structure, (2) growth has no significant affect on capital structure, (3) profitability has significant affect on company’s value, (4) growth has no significant affect on company’s value, (5) capital structure has no significant affect on company’s value. Service are  different from goods in both their nature and delivery system. They rely more heavily than goods on customer, client perceptions, and expections. Characteristics of services revolve around four main qualities, their intangibility, inseparability and perish ability. Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji hubungan kausal antara Struktur Modal dan Good Corporate Governance pada Kebijakan Dividen dan Nilai Perusahaan di bank yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) untuk periode 2008-2012 menggunakan PLS (Jalur Least Square) analisis. Data dikumpulkan dari laporan keuangan 7 perbankan tahunan yang go public di Bursa Efek Indonesia 2008-2012 yang terpilih sebagai sampel dalam periode pengamatan 5 tahun dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Ditemukan bahwa Struktur Modal memiliki Kebijakan berpengaruh signifikan Dividen positif, Good Corporate Governance berpengaruh tidak signifikan negatif pada Kebijakan Dividen, Kebijakan Dividen memiliki efek non-signifikan positif terhadap Nilai Perusahaan, Struktur Modal berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap Nilai Perusahaan, dan juga Good Corporate Governance berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap Nilai Perusahaan. Hasil ini akan memberikan saran yang baik untuk perusahaan untuk setiap keputusan manajemen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi untuk penelitian manajemen keuangan pembangunan khususnya terkait topik akuntansi keuangan dan keputusan manajemen.

Abstract

Mobile phones usually used for personal purposes will certainly bring a certain reaction from their owners if some unauthorized users make use of this medium for commercial purposes. This study was performed to determine factors influencing consumer acceptance and use of mobile marketing by using factors of utility, contextual information, control, sacrifice, and trust. This research also included factors of attitude toward mobile marketing and behavioral intention to use mobile marketing adopted from the theory of TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and tested their effects on actual use of mobile marketing. An explanatory research applying a quantitative approach was used. Methods of data collection used a questionnaire with a sample of 145 respondents from the students of Brawijaya University that use Telkomsel as their mobile phone provider. Analysis with Structural Equation Model shows that perceived utility, contextual information, perceived control, perceived sacrifice, and perceived beliefs significantly influence the attitude toward mobile marketing. Perception utility does not have significant effect on the behavioral intention to use mobile marketing but has significant effect on actual use of mobile marketing. Attitude toward mobile marketing significantly influence the behavioral intention to use mobile marketing and behavioral intention to use mobile marketing affects the actual use of mobile marketing.

Abstract

This paper tries ti describe and to analize a correlation of brand equity to customer loyality. Brand equity has five dimensions that can not be resparated one another. There are brand awareness, brand loyalty, perceived quality, brand association and anotherbrand asset. Basically, brand has several goals, i.e as company identity, promotion tools, brandimage and market control. In order to get a high customer loyality, produsen must create a product having hard brand equity. In general, a customer who has been trusting with some products, will not change theri buy ability directly although there are many alternative brands giving better quality. For saving that condition, an enterpreneur must increase their product quality and socialize their brand equity product continually

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) development more and more fast especially in streamlining public service and must reach village level. Beside increasing sercive, ICT has benefit in data processing that is able to be used in development planning, supporting in decision making and others. The goal of this study is to identify the readyness of ICT implementation of human resource, facilities and infrastructure, institutional and budgetting aspects and IT service in village level. Descriptive methode is used and location take place in four villages in Lamongan Regency. Finding is showed the limit number of human resurce who has ICT capability, undistributed of internet network, fulfilled of institutional needs and budgetting support from authorized institution. Finally, information system does not have all service program to serve public and still does not implement in all village government in servicing public.

Abstract

Leadership is the ability to influence others in this case the subordinates so that someone else was willing to do the will of the leader personally though it may not be favored. Organizational culture is a social force that is not visible, which can move people within an organization to perform work activities. Are not aware of each person in an organization to learn the prevailing culture within the organization. Strong culture and positive influence on the behavior and effectiveness of the organization's performance. Terms of the employees, high employee commitment will result in improved performance of the employees themselves. Keywords: Leadership Style, Organizational Culture, organizational commitment and employee performance.   Kepemimpinan adalah kemampuan seseorang untuk mempengaruhi orang lain dalam hal ini para bawahannya sedemikian rupa sehingga orang lain itu mau melakukan kehendak pemimpin meskipun secara pribadi hal itu mungkin tidak disenangi. Budaya organisasi merupakan kekuatan sosial yang tidak tampak, yang dapat menggerakkan orang-orang dalam suatu organisasi untuk melakukan aktivitas kerja. Secara tidak sadar tiap-tiap orang didalam suatu organisasi mempelajari budaya yang berlaku didalam organisasinya. Budaya yang kuat dan positif sangat berpengaruh terhadap perilaku dan efektifitas kinerja organisasi. Abstract

Creative accounting practices are shortcuts for every entity in order to achieves some special purposes. This study aimed to uncover the motives of creative accounting practices in MFIs (Self-Supporting Community Organization) Karapan Sapi. This study uses interpretive paradigm with a case study approach in order to know well the creative accounting practices that have taken place and ongoing. Based on the results of field research found that MFI Karapan Sapi do the creative accounting at UPK (Financial Management Unit). UPK is one of three units in the body of the MFI Karapan Sapi that focus in saving and loans. UPK do the creative accounting by rescheduling excessively the loan of KSM (group of creditor) in order to lower the cost of loss reserve account in income statement. Based on the field information, the motive of  creative accounting practices by UPK MFI Karapan Sapi, it showed that the UPK would like to save the allocation of loan that exist in government funding under the PNPM program and there is an indication that UPK want to pull up the image of MFI management.

Abstract

This research is performed in order to test the relationship between internal and external factor on capital structure and financial performance in property and real estate sector listed in IDX. Unit of analysis consists of 26 companies. Analysis shows that Internal Factor has negative significant influence on Capital Structure and External factor has negative influence on negative effect of capital structure. Besides, better internal factor (Liquidity and firm size) did not make the financial performance of property and real estate companies listed on the IDX become good. This study precisely shows that the test result is insignificant between the internal factor and financial performance which was measured by ROE. The test results, as well as the relationship between external factor and financial performance, have insignificant influence and the last hypothesis testing shows that Capital structure has positive significant influence on financial performance of property and real estate companies listed on the IDX.   Key words: internal factor, external factor, capital structure, financial performance.
