Abstract

This article aimed to describe citizen jurnalism has been used in the fight for civil and political rights. Then, describe the fulfillment civil and political rights of shemale in Yogyakarta. The results that citizen jurnalism can used as a tool in fight for civil and political rights. And the fulfillment civil rights of shemale is unfulfilled overall.

Abstract

Parenting style is one of the significant factor that helped to profile the children. This is based on assumption that education in the family is the first and primary education obtained by children, which is cannot be replaced by any other institution. For instance children superkids models they were displaced from their childhood, and as adults they will be adults but still childish. So parenting parents largely determines the attitude and the nature of his future. To that end we strive to provide training to parents in the district Cabbenge Soppeng to be "Creative Parenting Today". Through this training at least appear to be able to change the consciousness of parenting that has been less appropriate. The goals of the training are parents in kindergarten Al - Khair Cabenge, with the hope they become parents who are able to parenting a next brilliant generation. The method used in this training is observation, preparation, training, evaluation, and preparation of reports. The results achieved for the distributed questionnaire was 80 percent. The results of questionnaires filled out by 20 participants, suggests that this training event was success.

Abstract

Levels of health and poor oral hygiene is a problem that often occurs to blind children. Lack of knowledge and awareness of blind children and the parent’s role in maintaining oral health is one of the reasons. Quality self care and home care with dental care approach applicable to blind children to change their behavior in maintaining oral health. Measurement of the success rate of this program is to compare the results of the examination OHI-S (Oral Hygiene Index-Simplified) beginning, follow-up, and ending. There is a higher improvement of students with OHIS in good categories 13% at the beginning examination, 50% at follow-up examination, and 75% at the end of the examination.

Abstract

The school as one of the targets for PHBS institutions that need to get attention given school age (ages 6-10) is vulnerable to the emergence of a variety of ailments. According to the WHO (2007) States that every child is 100,000 years Indonesia died due to diarrhea, kecacingan incident Number 40-60% (Ministry of health, 2005) and 23.2% of school children anemia (YKB, 2007). The goal of this program is to increase the degree of health and knowledge of PHBS, availability of support facilities and the implementation of indicators 8 PHBS behavior at school. Implementation of the PHBS preparation methods, learning, application and final event. The result of the program, the target public is able to develop the PHBS in school with the establishment and inauguration of the Health Ambassadors OS3 9.

Abstract

The destruction of mangrove Forest at the north coast of Java has been caused by land conversion. In Situbondo regency, the problem started from activities of the shrimp cultivation in the 1980 – 1990’s. There are three (3) major issues in Indonesian mangrove management, namely ecological, socioeconomic, and institutional. In the last two years, the beach abbration has reached 5 – 10 meters from shoreline. It used the serious management from Situbondo Government Regency, the society and stakeholder through the 1000 mangrove planting in the beach. The mangrove planting activities were started by the socialization of planning, planting, and handling mangrove trees. Three months after implementation of mangrove planting, the mangrove growth well along the beach. It caused by the coastal society supports.

Abstract

Indonesian Cancer Foundation (YKI) is a nonprofit organization that has the sole purpose of social and humanitarian field, especially in the fight against cancer that already have networks across the province in Indonesia. Halfway house is a place reserved for cancer patients who are undergoing outpatient care to facilitate the patient to reach the hospital patients who were referred for treatment. With the alternative activities that are beneficial to patients and their families, we propose a program " Improving the Quality of Life Patient Assistance Family Shelter Home through the Indonesian Cancer Foundation Patient In East Java branch ", with several objectives, namely to make cancer patients and families are always optimistic so motivated to improve their health status. Making cancer patients and families to be more productive despite the limitations physical condition. To change the behavior of the cancer patient and family so that they can always make up a healthy lifestyle. Also in this program is done by means of the method of implementation approaches, make a visit to the Indonesian Cancer Foundation to determine the condition and patient activity. Cooperation with related parties. Implementation of the program in accordance with the plans and design of program activities improved quality of life of cancer patients. Evaluation of the program and the possibility of improving the quality of the program ( program sustainability ).

Abstract

Indonesia was claimed as first ranked country trafficking victims contributor. Surabaya’s one of the cities in Indonesia with pretty high trafficking practices. There has been no senior high school (SMA/SMK) students act in preventing of trafficking, so as participatory approach is needed to encourage SMA/SMK students contributed actively to prevent him and others about trafficking menace. J-Track’s using guide training system method. This system aims to create an independent, softskilled, prepared, and responsive student. The increased shown in their changed attitude indicate this program output achievement’s success and expected this J-Track program will continue to grow for the sake of usefulness

Abstract

Genetic disorders are the most common coordination in the world is Fridreich s ataxia (FA). In Indonesia FA obtained Boyolali Ampel area. FA is progressive and has not found specific drugs for FA. Symptoms and accompanying complications can be treated with physical exercise. Physical exercise can reduce the progression of symptoms and helps maintain body functions as long as possible. The level of knowledge of patient and public awareness about the FA in Boyolali Ampel sub-district is still lacking. Improving the quality of life and slow the worsening condition of the patient FA. Divided into three phases, namely the preparation, implementation, and follow-up. In the implementation phase given counseling or education, provide motivation and physical exercise through video playback, provide physical exercise posters, and pocket books to be handgrip patients, provision of aids to patients, perform a physical examination, and renovate one of the stalls where people work. In the follow-up stage of the final observation assessment to measure the success of this program and reinforce the benefits of patients. Improved quality of life is evident from the scores of healthy physical (exercise 58.33% to 93.33%, the cleanliness of 66.7% to 85%, and the nutritional 71.67% to 78.33%), healthy social (65% to 75%), a healthy spiritual (85% to 91, 67%), support family members as the cadre (71.67% to 93.33%), the increase in scores independence and decrease depression scores. Worsening condition of the patient can be slowed as evidenced by an increase in the percentage of physical exercise. Physical exercise and family support is very influential in improving the quality of life of patients.

Abstract

The blind students at three schools for the special needs that we observed had difficulty imagining objects described in the braille science books. Our idea was to facilitate learning using a set of science comics. The aim was to help the students imagine, improve their knowledge on science subject, and help the teachers and parents teach the blind students. We conducted an assessment (pre-test and post-test), used the science comics in the class, and held a seminar on our program. The result shows there was an increase of 94.44% on the learning achievement.

Abstract

Desa Guntarano merupakan salah satu daerah sentra produksi ‘Bawang Goreng Lokal Palu’ di Kabupaten Donggala. Desa tersebut berpenduduk sebanyak 6.781  jiwa,  dengan pekerjaan utama umumnya sebagai petani. Pengembangan ‘Bawang Goreng Palu’ di dataran Guntarano sangat potensial karena didukung oleh faktor iklim yang sesuai untuk pertumbuhan tanaman, yaitu iklim panas dengan sedikit hari hujan dan berada pada ketinggian tempat antara 280–500 m dpl.  Produksi ‘bawang goreng Palu’ yang dicapai saat ini masih tergolong rendah yakni 5,9 ton/ha sedangkan  potensi hasil dapat mencapai 12 ton/ha. (BPS Kab. Donggala, 2010). Dalam pengusahaan bawang goreng  Palu oleh petani umumnya dilakukan secara konvensional sehingga kurang memperoleh keuntungan karena biaya usaha tani seringkali lebih besar daripada hasil yang diperoleh. Untuk membantu petani dalam penanganan masalah OPT serta untuk meningkatkan produktivitas bawang goreng program PKMM ini melaksanakan teknologi pengendalian hama ulat bawang yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi budidaya bawang yang berpotensi untuk meningkatkan dan memantapkan produksi bawang merah antara lain dengan pemberian biokultur. Tujuan program PKMM ini adalah melakukan pembinaan dan pemberdayaan kepada masyarakat dalam mengembangkan bioinsektisida dan biokultur. Metode yang diterapkan dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah: pelatihan, demonstrasi teknologi, demplot, pendampingan dan pembinaan yang dilakukan secara partisipatif. Program PKMM ini berlangsungselama 4 bulan yang dimulaipada bulan April 2014 sampai dengan bulan Juli 2014Hasil yang diperolehdari program PKMM ini menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat sasaran telah dapat mengembangkan bioinsektisida dan biokultur sehingga kedua saprodi tersebut sealu tersedia bagi petani dalam menjamin usahataninya sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraannya. Kata Kunci : Produktivitas Bawang Merah, Biokultur, Bioinsektisida “Beauveria  bassiana”
