Abstract

Problem Solving ability was very crucial to support the students in learning activities. Those who were able to solve learning problems would get satisfactory achievement and vise versa. Problem solving ability of the students was affected by their learning motivation and creativity. This research was intended to reveal the students’ learning motivation, creativity and problem solving ability in learning. In addition this research also sought to reveal the contribution of learning motivation and creativity toward the students’ Problem Solving ability in learning. This research applied correlational approach which was aimed at revealing the extent to which a variable contributed to the other variable in a research. The population of the research was 283 students in class VII of SMP Negeri 29 Padang. By using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling technique, 166 students were chosen as the sample. The instrument of the research was Likert scale model. The data gotten were analyzed by using descriptive technique. The hypothesis was tested by using multiple regression technique. The research findings indicated that: (1) the students’ learning motivation in general was in low category, (2) the students’ creativity in general was in average category, (3) problem solving ability of the students was in average category, (4) learning motivation had contribution toward the students’ problem solving ability in learning (5) creativity had contribution toward the students’ problem solving ability in learning,(6) learning motivation, creativity had contribution toward the students’ problem solving ability in learning.

Abstract

In the management of teachers Counseling Counseling and Guidance Counseling coordinator already made plans to be implemented, evaluated, analyzed and acted upon the planned start of basic care guidance consists of understanding ourselves and the environment; develop the skills to identify the responsibilities; capable addresses the needs and problems, able to develop themselves in achieving the goal of life, responsive services consist of: individual counseling; crisis counseling; consulting parents, teachers and hand over individual planning cases consist of: orientation activities; information activities; individual counseling; advocacy and support system / development of networking as consultation with the teacher; program of cooperation with parents and teachers; participate in planning school activities; do penilitian about the problems associated with Counseling cooperation and collaboration with other experts associated with servicing Counseling. Teachers Counseling in collaboration with subject teachers and homeroom implement its program through a schedule or timetable Counseling general subjects, or calling all students to be interviewed, or come to their own children Counseling space. In the implementation of guidance and counseling can not be separated from the Education Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP), which optimizes the development of self-learners.

Abstract

It can be said if the adult has the perfect physical growth and reached the psychological maturity to be able to live and contribute together other adults. In American culture, a child is considered not achieve adult status if he has not reached the age of 21 years. Meanwhile in Indonesian culture, a person is considered officially reached adult status if already married, even though he has not yet reached 21 years. psychologists set around the age of 20 years as early adulthood and lasts until around the age of 40-45 years. Adulthood can be said to be the longest period in the life span. During this long period, physical and psychological changes occur at times that can be foreseen that pose adjustment problems, pressures, and expectations. In the teachings of Islam, that the need for religion because man as a creature of God is equipped with a variety of potential (nature) inborn. One such character is the tendency toward religion. One of this nature, that humans accept God as God, in other words, human beings have a tendency is on the origin of religion, because religion is part of his nature. Religious for adults is already a way of living and not just bandwagon. Stability in view of religious life and religious behavior a person, not no longer on the static stability, dynamic stability but, where at one point he knows well the changes. The change occurred because the process of consideration of the mind, knowledge, and perhaps because of the existing conditions.

Abstract

Academic procrastination understood as maladaptive behavior that can hinder academic success. Guidance and counseling implementation is can contribute to reduce the students academic procrastination. The service is can be optimally, the team assisted individualization of learning models combined in class format. This research uses quantitative methods. This type of study design is a Quasi Experiment with the design of the non-equivalent control group. The population are students MTS Negeri Koto Tangah Padang selected by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used to collect data using a scale, then analyzed using Wilcoxson Signed Ranks Test and Kolmogorov-Smirnov 2 Independent the samples. The findings of this research are, differences significant on academic procrastination the experiment group before and after the learning model technique team assisted individualization, There are differences in the control group on academic procrastination before and after the conventional learning model, and there are differences in the experiment group which given learning model technique team assisted individualization and the control group which given information service, learning model team assisted individualization technique can significantly reduce the students academic procrastination, it was can be used for a variety of problems related with learning activities.

Abstract

School an society are two environmenst that can`t be separated. School is the place for learning an society is the place where the out-put of learning can be implemented. The society is expected to support and participate in developing the educational proses at schools. In this case, it needs strategy or management to involve the society in educational activities at schools. The attempt to make it real is by building up good relationship between school manager and the society so that both boards cloud cooperate simultaneously and comprehensively.

Abstract

The author examines the positive and negative effects of social media on the moral education of children in school SMPN 2 class VIII Banda Aceh, it is very interesting because of the many children who abuse social media. This work analyzes about the use of social media that have an impact on the moral education of children. The data collected in this study through the work of other literature, researchers also interviewed principals and students as many as 16 students as well as the observation at the school. Based on the analysis that has been done it can be seen the positive and negative impacts of the use of social media to the moral education of children. The positive impact on the social development of the media on moral education of children among children can adapt, socialize with the public and manage a network of friends, and make children easier to accomplish these tasks, while the negative impact of the development of social media to the moral education of children very much of them can make the omission in children so that children are less disciplined and be lazy, makes children easy to cheat the works of others, disrespectful both in dress and speech, often quarrel due to scenes that are as dangerous as scenes of pornography, violence, wars and so forth , as well as making children miss school because they feel more comfortable in the cafe of the study at the school, not only that social media also makes children spend pocket money a child so that the child took the money her parents secretly to access the internet cafe. Therefore, social media can lead education of children.

Abstract

This study examines the teaching of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for Young Children at Pocut Baren Kindergarten Padang Tiji in the District of Pidie by analyzing learning activities, from the perspectives of curriculum and teaching materials as well as planning and the evaluation system. We utilize a descriptive-analytic approach to field research and look at a variety of literature relevant to teaching religion to young children as a theoretical foundation for our research.The review of school document, field observations, and interviews with the head of the kindergarten and teachers are an integral part of our analytical approach. Our study finds that the teachers of this kindergarten understand the curriculum and have proficiently designed the study plans even though their implementation are at times isolated from the already-designed daily and weekly sketches (SKH and SKM).Furthermore, the evaluation of Islamic religious education in this school is conducted daily and semi-annually (every semester) and the results of both tests indicate the overall progress and achievement of pupils. All of this illustrates that the implementation of Islamic religious education at Pocut Baren Kindergarten Padang Tiji has proceeded adequately for the purpose of achieving educational objectives stated in the curriculum. Yet, it still needs the principal’s and teachers’ further innovation and creativity, so that the teaching and learning processes become richer and are in accordance with the development of scientific progress and the dynamics of the new era.

Abstract

Islam believes in the existence of soul and its influence in human learning. Islam believes that human being consists of both body and soul, Islamic perspective on how a person learns from insani experience also differs compared to contemporary Western psychological perspective. This paper aims to provide a view Islam on the psychology of learning in terms of the two sides of the Ilahiyyah (Islam) and Insaniyyah (Psychology). This discussion will provide an overview of the concept of learning that Islam is divided into two sources: directly from Allah (Ilahiyyah) and through human experience (insaniyyah). Source God can be in the form of revelation, inspiration (inspiration), and a true dream (ru'ya sadiqah). Human experience can be in the form of conditioning, observation, and cognition. Moreover, this discussion would like to see contemporary learning theory from the Islamic perspectives. The Islamic perspectives will include Qur’anic verses, Prophetic Hadiths, stories of the Prophets and Companions, and the work of early Muslim scholars such as Ibn Sina and al-Ghazali using terms familiar to contemporary psychology.

Abstract

Lazy and helpless, indifferent and standing against teachers is part of the learning problems of students. The problem tendency not all students can complete in itself. Teachers contribute to help solve the problems faced by students, the teacher's role is needed by learners, the diagnosis aims to determine where lies the learning difficulties faced by the students as well as to find solutions. If the students' learning difficulties is allowed, then the learning objectives will not be achieved well. To overcome these difficulties, the students need help, both in digesting the teaching materials as well as in overcoming other barriers. Students' learning difficulties should be identified and can be addressed as early as possible, so that the instructional goals can be achieved with good. It is necessary to diagnosis of the implementation of this diagnosis helps students to acquire maximum learning results. To conduct the diagnosis of learning difficulties must be taken several phases of activities such as 1) Identify students who are expected to have learning difficulties; 2) localizes learning difficulties; 3) Determine the factors that cause learning difficulties; 4) Estimate of alternative aid; 5) Establish the possibility of how to overcome them; and 6) Follow-up. The diagnosis of learning difficulties do with the testing techniques and nontes. The technique can be used by teachers to diagnose learning difficulties, among others: the test requirements (prerequisite knowledge, skill prerequisites), diagnostic tests, interviews and observations.

Abstract

Educators, in the whole education processes, are one of the essential factors in directing pedagogical and characteristic activities to achieve educational goals. To this end, their professionalism are supposed to accommodate students’ necessities in various aspects, such as spiritual, intellectual, morality, ethics as well as their basic needs. Educators are also called for to understand professional ethics in performing their duties. Furthermore, professional educators, in person, must have possessed quality and character integrity with which they will gain potential and ability to illuminate and demonstrate authority and honesty. Focusing on professional educators’ integrity, this journal highlights all issues regarding the professionalism degradation. From the results of observation and community perceptions, it was indicated that educators’ professionalism has brought about some problems, either in input aspect, distribution, academic quality, scientific activities or their feasibility. The emergence of this problem indicates that educators, in performing their duties, were not able to show a reserved integrity. For this reason, in this journal, the writer analyses professional educators integrity from Quranic perspective as an attempt to solve the preceding problems and as comprehensive scientific development of Quranic terminologies about educators’ professionalism integrities
