Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to determine and analyze the content of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum contained in the Al Azhar Merdeka Curriculum package book, especially in class 2 and Learning Achievements. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide an analysis of the curriculum at Al Azhar 2 Islamic Elementary School Pasar Minggu and to find out the supporting programs for the implementation of the PAI curriculum at Al Azhar 2 Islamic Elementary School. The results of this research are that the curriculum that applies to PAI at Al Azhar 2 Pasar Minggu Islamic Elementary School is an independent curriculum that is also adapted to the curriculum at Al Azhar, so that the school makes its own textbook when the applicable curriculum changes. Then the PAI curriculum at Al Azhar 2 Islamic Elementary School also ran smoothly. This is characterized by the existence of various habituation programs that support Islamic Religious Education learning (various competitions and interesting events are available at each special moment on the Islamic calendar). can choose activities that suit their interests and talents, and school facilities that support all these activities.Keywords: Curriculum, Islamic Religious Education, Al Azhar 2 Islamic Elementary School. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis isi kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang terdapat di dalam buku paket Kurikulum Merdeka Al Azhar khususnya di kelas 2 dan Capaian Pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan akan memberikan analisis mengenai kurikulum di SD Islam Al Azhar 2 Pasar Minggu dan untuk mengetahui program-program pendukung dari terlaksananya kurikulum PAI di SD Islam Al Azhar 2.Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa kurikulum yang berlaku PAI di SD Islam Al Azhar 2 Pasar Minggu adalah kurikulum merdeka yang disesuaikan juga dengan kurikulum di Al Azhar, sehingga sekoah membuat buku paket sendiri ketika kurikulum yang berlaku itu berganti. Kemudian kurikulum PAI di SD Islam Al Azhar 2 juga berjalan dengan lancar. Hal ini ditandai dengan adanya berbagai program pembiasaan yang mendukung pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (tersedia berbagai perlombaan dan acara yang menarik di setiap momen khusus pada kalender Islam) hal ini membuat siswa lebih mendalami makna dari setiap momen tersebut, disertai adanya berbagai ketersediaan ekstrakurikuler Islami dimana siswa bisa memilih kegiatan yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakatnya, dan fasilitas sekolah yang mendukung berjalannya semua kegiatan tersebut. Kata Kunci: Kurikulum, Pendidikan Agama Islam, SD Islam Al Azhar 2.

Abstract

Mosques are places of worship for Muslims. However, the function of mosques is not limited to just being a place of worship, but also as a center of learning, especially in religious education. During the time of Rasulullah SAW, mosques had various functions such as places of worship (prayers), centers for education, teaching, justice, economic empowerment of the people, information centers, military training and government. This research aims to: Describe the role of the Istiqlal Mosque as the main center in the development of Islamic education. Analyzing the Istiqlal Madrasah education program which integrates the values of Islamic education and science and technology. The research results show that Madrasah Istiqlal Jakarta functions as a mosque-based madrasah that supports global civilization. This madrasah is not only a religious educational institution, but also a center for character and intellectual development for the young generation of Muslims who are ready to contribute to the development of a just and prosperous global civilization. Istiqlal Madrasah has several unique characteristics that differentiate it from traditional madrasas, namely: Integrated Curriculum, Innovative Learning Approach, Islamic Character Development, and Openness to the World.

Abstract

The concept of monotheism is the fundamental and most important element in Islam. This research aims to investigate the influence of multimedia learning modules on students' learning outcomes in enhancing their understanding of Tawheed by assessing the effectiveness of multimedia learning modules in improving students' understanding of monotheism. The research method employed was an experimental study involving three groups: one experimental group and two control groups. The population for this study consisted of all civil engineering and geology students, with 25 participants in each group, both in the experimental and control classes within the D-III Civil Engineering program. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The research design utilized a Pretest-Posttest Mixed Design. Data analysis was conducted using the ANOVA Mixed Design in the General Linear Model (GLM) with the assistance of SPSS. The research findings indicate that the pretest-posttest score change in the experimental group is significant, with a Mean Difference (MD) of -27.850, as well as in the control group with a Mean Difference (MD) of -19.850. These score changes indicate that the Multimedia Learning Module can enhance students' understanding of Tawheed. The effectiveness of the Multimedia Learning Module in improving students' understanding of Tawheed is 0.839.

Abstract

This research focuses on the implementation of ISMUBA (Islam, Muhammadiyah, and Arabic) learning at Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Gombara Islamic Boarding School, Makassar, and its impact on improving the practice of progressive Islamic treatises. ISMUBA is a typical Muhammadiyah curriculum that integrates progressive Islamic values with mastery of Arabic, aiming to produce a young generation of faith, piety, and noble character. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with phenomenological, theological, and pedagogical approaches. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of ISMUBA in the classroom involves structured learning and the use of diverse teaching methods, such as demonstrations of worship practices, role-play in Arabic, and Qur'an interpretation sessions. Learning outside the classroom includes visits to places of worship, Islamic social studies, and daily Arabic language practice. This study found that the implementation of ISMUBA at Darul Arqam Muhammadiyah Gombara Islamic Boarding School is effective in improving the practice of progressive Islamic treatises among students. This is shown through increased worship discipline, a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings, and better Arabic language skills. Challenges faced include limited resources and coordination, but can be overcome by increasing the number of qualified teachers and providing adequate learning facilities. The results of this study are expected to make a positive contribution to the development of learning models that are more effective and relevant to the needs of santri in this modern era.

Abstract

Pursuing higher education is a multifaceted decision influenced by financial, social, and psychological factors. This study examines the interest of students at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Ar-Raniry State Islamic University, in pursuing postgraduate education amid an economic recession. It focuses on a sample of 70 fourth-year undergraduate students. Using a quantitative descriptive research design, the data were collected through a structured questionnaire consisting of 10 yes/no questions and 10 Likert scale questions, which were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results show that 77.1% of the respondents acknowledged that the economic recession influenced their educational choices, while 87.1% believed that obtaining a higher degree would improve their career prospects. Financial constraints were a major concern, with 55.7% reporting a decrease in their family's ability to pay for education, yet 82.9% reported relying on scholarships or financial aid as a critical factor in their decision-making process. Despite the economic challenges, 90% of students remained optimistic about overcoming financial barriers, driven by both intrinsic (51.4% motivated by personal and professional growth) and extrinsic (94% recognizing career benefits) motivations. Social and academic support also played a critical role, with 92.9% influenced by mentorship and 97.1% by encouragement from family and friends. Concerns about educational quality persisted, however, as 87.1% of students perceived the recession as hurting higher education institutions. These findings underscore the need for higher education institutions and policymakers to expand financial aid programs, improve academic mentoring, and align educational curricula with the demands of the broader labor market to ensure equitable access to higher education during times of economic instability.

Abstract

Quality education is highly dependent on the teaching strategies used by teachers to improve student learning outcomes. Role-playing is one approach to increase student engagement in learning. The purpose of this study was to see how the role-playing method affects student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Tapaktuan, South Aceh. This study used quantitative techniques using a pre-test, post-test, control experimental design. This study involved two groups: the experimental group used the role-playing method, and the control group used the usual method. To assess student understanding, the research instrument was a written test with multiple choices and fill-in-the-blank questions. Data collection strategies included giving pre-tests and post-tests to both groups before and after the learning process. The data obtained were analyzed using a t-test for two independent samples. The results showed a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. The average post-test score of the experimental group was 80.30, while the control group was 72.3, with a t value (2.59) greater than the t table (2.02), indicating that the role-playing approach was more effective in improving student learning outcomes compared to the lecture method. Thus, this study reveals that the use of role-playing strategies can improve students' learning outcomes, especially in terms of social skills and problem solving.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pembinaan ubudiyah dalam pembentukan religiusitas santri di Dayah Modern Darul Ulum Banda Aceh. Pokok permasalahan yang diangkat adalah bagaimana proses pembinaan ubudiyah dilakukan di dayah tersebut, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat terhadap pembinaan ubudiyah dalam pembentukan religiusitas santri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan metode pembinaan ubudiyah yang diterapkan di Dayah Modern Darul Ulum dan menemukan faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam pembentukan karakter religius para santri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskripsi, dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terkait kegiatan pembinaan di dayah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan ubudiyah yang dilakukan di Dayah Modern Darul Ulum meliputi kegiatan ritual seperti shalat berjamaah, Membaca AL-Qur’an, Wirid zikir dan do’a, program renungan malam atau muhasabah serta pembelajaran akhlak. Pembinaan tersebut memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam membentuk religiusitas santri, yang tercermin dari peningkatan kesadaran ibadah, pengetahuan agama, dan perilaku sehari-hari yang lebih islami. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pembinaan ubudiyah di Dayah Modern Darul Ulum Banda Aceh menunjukkan hasil yang positif dalam pembentukan religiusitas santri. Namun, untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih optimal, diperlukan upaya untuk mengatasi faktor penghambat, seperti membangun kesadaran santri terhadap ibadah, adanya komunikasi dengan wali santri, dan memberikan perhatian lebih pada dampak teknologi dan lingkungan sosial di luar dayah. Dengan demikian, pembinaan ubudiyah dapat berjalan lebih efektif dan menghasilkan santri yang tidak hanya cakap dalam beribadah, tetapi juga memiliki karakter Islami yang kuat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di Pesantren Asy-Syuhada Cirebon. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini termasuk dalam pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan juga studi dokumentasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan melelui beberapa tahapan. Tahapan pertama adalah pengumpulan data kemudian dilanjutkan dengan tahap kedua berupa reduksi data. Setelah itu dilanjutkan kepada penyajian data dan tahapan terakhir adalah penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini maka ditemukan beberapa hasil penelitian. Pesantren Asy-Syuhada adalah lembaga pendidikan Islam yang berada dibawah naungan KEMENAG. Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam telah diterapkan pada lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Santri di Pesantren Asy-Syuhada Cirebon adalah anak yang sedang dalam usia pelajar SMP. Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam pada Pesantren Asy-Syuhada dilakukan melalui pengajaran terjadwal dengan pembahasan kitab kuning yang dilaksanakan di luar jam pelajaran sekolah. Pembelajaran masih banyak menekankan pada aspek pengetahuan atau kognitif, sedangkan aspek afektif dan psikomotorik masih belum terlalu nampak. Penilaian maupun evaluasi pembelajaran pada aspek afektif dan psikomotor masih perlu untuk ditingkatkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang distorsi gerakan radikalisme yang menyasar pesantren. Pesantren sering kali diberi kesan sebagai lembaga yang mencetak kader-kader radikal. Hal tersebut merupakan konsekuensi dari peristiwa pengeboman yang terjadi di WTC Amerika Serikat dan Bom Bali. Pesantren di Indonesia dalam memberikan pengajaran kepada santri sangat bertolak belakang dengan nilai-nilai radikalisme yang diasumsikan oleh orang Barat terhadap dunia Islam. Berangkat dari permasalahan di atas, penulis tertarik untuk melakukan kajian mendalam tentang anatomi gerakan radikalisme Islam di pesantren. Untuk mengupas hal tersebut, penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan library research untuk mengumpulkan data yang selaras dengan tema yang sedang penulis kaji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman pesantren sebagai sarang radikalisme merupakan sebuah distorsi. Dalam perdebatannya, pesantren mengajarkan nilai-nilai Rohmatan lil alamin yang dalam hal ini sangat bertolak belakang dengan ajaran radikalisme.

Abstract

This research examines Rohis' extracurricular activities and learning motivation as support in the learning process which influences PAI learning outcomes. The sample in this study was 301 students at SMPN Sungai Banyak. The method used is quantitative and data collection techniques use questionnaires. This research reveals how much influence Rohis extracurriculars and learning motivation have on PAI learning outcomes by analyzing the results of student questionnaires. The results of this research show that Rohis' extracurricular contribution influences learning outcomes by 13.4%, and learning motivation influences learning outcomes by 39.8%, and Rohis extracurriculars and learning motivation influence learning outcomes together by 41.4%.
