Abstract

AbstrakPendidikan dalam pengertian usaha yang dilakukan oleh pendidik, mungkin dapat dikatakan berakhir saat anak didik mencapai masa dewasa dan mampu bertanggung jawab terhadap segala akibat dari perbuatannya. Sedangkan Pendidikan Islam adalah tidak terbatas pada pencapaian nilai-nilai keduniaan semata, tetapi terus berlanjut sampai pada keselamatan kehidupan di akhirat kelak. Pendidikan Islam pada hakekatnya mempunyai jangkauan makna yang sangat luas serta dalam rangka mencapai kesempurnaannya memerlukan waktu dan tenaga yang tidak kecil, karena itulah kemudian dikenal ungkapan pendidikan seumur hidup (long life education), sebagaimana dikenal pernyataan ilmuan kepada peserta didik “Berilah aku seluruh yang engkau miliki, maka akan kuberikan kepadamu sebagian yang aku miliki”.Sejarah Pendidikan Islam menginformasikan bahwa berbagai institusi yang mempunyai bidang garapan untuk kelompok awam ini muncul dalam bentuk lembaga al-Kawanik, al-Zawiyah, dan al-Ribat. Kata kunci: education,al-Ilmu, formal education, potential intellect, intellect in habitus, intellect in actus, acquired intellect.

Abstract

A management system has to be developed to suit the current situation in Indonesia, which would efficiently and effectively promote and educate Arabic Language and Islamic Studies for students. Improvement of management system of the Ma'had (Islamic boarding school) is a must, and following it is a necessity. The Government has Islamic Universities for Indonesian Muslims, same as it has for other religions. However, the Islamic Universities are very weak, even people who are graduating from Arabic Language faculty with a high grade do not know how to speak fluently in Arabic.  Therefore, it is necessary to study how to develop a unified college management system to be implemented in each college. Qualitative research approach was applied to answer the research question. This study was conducted in Ma’had Al-Birr–Muhammadiyah University of Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Observation and depth interview were applied to collect data. Some document analysis was employed to clarify the interview and observation data. This article is to describe education management system has been developed to achieve excellence in teaching Arabic Language and proper Islamic studies as per Quran and Hadith in the Ma’had Al-Birr Unismuh Makassar under the control and supervision of AMCF (Asia Muslim Charity Foundation). Some learning design have been taken are unified syllabus to be taught in all the college; an equally qualified staff to be employed; easy centralized supervision and control over all the college; unified academic calendar to be formulated for every academic year and formulating a single board for preparing the unified tests for all the college. This is one of the primary steps AMCF is taking now, with the vision of having a network of college, providing best possible learning opportunities and facilities in general, and scholars in particular, to learn Arabic Language and Islamic Studies. The AMCF future vision is to increase the number of qualified Scholars and Teachers in Indonesia, so that in turn, those scholars and teachers could contribute to solve the social problems in Indonesia by providing proper guidance to the public.

Abstract

Manajemen pembelajaran al-Qur’an melalui program I‘dãd Lugawy di Ma‘had al-Birr berjalan sesuai dengan tujuan dan harapan Ma’had. Penerapan fungsi manajemen berupa perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi telah terlaksana dengan baik. Perencanaan pembelajaran berjalan sesuai dengan silabus dan RPS, pengorganisasian dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di ruang kelas dilakukan oleh dosen dengan membagi mahasiswa dalam beberapa kelompok dan memuraja’ah hafalan sebelum disetorkan ke dosen, dan di akhir pembelajaran dilakukan evaluasi perpekan, saat UTS dan UAS. Faktor kendala penerapan manajemen pembelajaran alQur’an di Ma’had al-Birr terdiri dari 2 faktor yaitu : pertama; input mahasiswa yang tidak diseleksi, semua yang mendaftar diterima baik mampu membaca alQur’an maupun tidak mampu, kedua; faktor lingkungan mahasiswa yang tinggal di luar asrama, pengajar tidak dapat mengontrol hafalan mereka sebagaimana mahasiswa berasrama. Faktor pendukung penerapan manajemen pembelajaran al-Qur’an terdiri dari dosen yang ahli dalam bidangnya, kurikulumnya berbahasa arab, sarana dan prasarana yang dimiliki cukup lengkap, dana atau anggaran yang mencukupi kebutuhan operasional, dan manajemen kepemimpinan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana pembinaan mahasiswi di Asrama Ma’had Al-Birr dan bagaimana Karakter mahasiswi Ma’had Al-Birr serta peranan pengelola asrama dalam pembinaan karakter mahasiswi Ma’had Al-Birr Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriktif kualitatif yang dimaksudkan untuk mengungkap sebuah fakta empiris secara objektif ilmiah dengan berlandaskan pada logika keilmuan, prosedur dan didukung oleh metodologi dan teoritis yang kuat sesuai disiplin keilmuan yang ditekuni. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, Pertama, Pembinaan Mahasiswi Asrama Ma’had Al-Birr menggunakan tiga model pembinaan, yaitu klasikal, mentoring dan pembiasaan. Dalam membina mahasiswi pengelola asrama menggunakan beberapa prinsip yaitu  keteladanan, latihan dan pembiasaan, pembinaan melalui nasehat, pembinaan melalui kedisiplinan, kemandirian, persatuan dan persaudaraan. Kedua, Mahasiswi Ma’had Al-Birr adalah mahasisiwi yang berkarakter islami, religius, sopan dan beradab, rajin, disiplin dan bertanggung jawab serta mempunyai karakter kepemimpinan yang meneladani Rasulullah saw. Ketiga, Peran Pengelola dalam pembinaan karakter Mahasiswi Ma’had Al-Birr Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar yaitu sebagai orang tua yang menyayangi, mengawasi dan membimbing mahasiswi, sebagai guru yang mengajari dan memberi nasehat kepada mahasiswi dan sebagai teladan yang memberi contoh yang baik yang bisa ditiru dan diikuti oleh mahasiswi.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: 1) the role of the education system at Ummul Mukminin 'Aisyiyah Islamic Boarding School; 2) efforts to realize the vision and mission of Ummul Mukminin 'Aisyiyah Islamic Boarding School; and supporting and inhibiting factors in the role of the Ummul Mukminin 'Aisyiyah Islamic Boarding School education system. This research is located at the Ummul Mukminin 'Aisyiyah Islamic Boarding School, South Sulawesi, using a qualitative descriptive method along with SWOT analysis. The collected data were selected and analyzed semantically and inductively, supported by the results of direct observation. The research results show: 1) The role of the education system must follow developments in the National Education System which includes aspects of institutional and curriculum management; 2) Efforts to realize the vision and mission of Islamic boarding schools through success alumni, outstanding leaders at the local and national levels, nurturing cadres of scholars through the Tahfidz Al-Quran and Kemuhammadiyahan programs; 3) The supporting factors for achieving the vision and mission of the pesantren are adequate facilities and infrastructure, professional human resources, good leadership, effective communication and cooperation. Inhibiting factors, including; the absence of Information Technology-based blueprints, competition between Islamic boarding schools, the lack of budget support from the government.

Abstract

Abstract

This research is about the principal’s management in improving teacher competence regarding student moral development at SDIT Al-Fadiyah. This study aims to: 1) Develop managerial abilities of school principals in increasing teacher competence at SDIT Al-Fadiyah, 2) Developing forms of moral development at SDIT Al-Fadiyah in Gowa, 3) Understanding the principal's strategy for increasing teacher competence in developing participant morals studied at SDIT Al-Fadiyah. This study uses a qualitative research approach, researchers use data collection analysis by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources for this study were school principals, deputy principals, teachers, student representatives and other information deemed necessary in this study. The data were analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis relating to the Management of Principals in Improving Teacher Competence Against the Moral Development of Students at SDIT Al Fadiyah Gowa. The results of the study are as follows: First: the managerial ability of the principal in improving teacher competence includes: planning, organizing, implementing, supervising. Second: The form of moral development of students at SDIT Al-Fadiyah Gowa has been going well starting with the formulation of moral development goals, compiling moral development programs, using lecture methods, direct practice, discussions, exemplary and giving awards. Third: The principal's strategy in improving teacher competency in moral development includes: carrying out functional education and training, empowering KKG and carrying out teacher supervision.

Abstract

This research examines curriculum development management in improving the quality of Islamic religious education. This research was conducted at Muhammadiyah 3 Bontoala Middle School. This research examines curriculum development in improving the quality of Islamic education at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bontoala. The type of research is field research, taking data sources in the field through interviews as the main source, and school data, supporting data related to curriculum development—second source. The researcher then explained several research findings regarding curriculum development in improving the quality of Islamic religious education. The results of this thesis research show that the offer for curriculum development in improving the quality of Islamic religious education at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bontoala is the implementation of learning through several basic learning approaches based on social juridical and pedagogical principles. The relevance of developing an Islamic education curriculum to improve the quality of Islamic education at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bontoala is the self-development program, counseling, and extracurricular Tadarus activities.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation of madrasah digital report applications in development education management information systems at MTs. Hidayatullah Lopi. This study is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection instruments include observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study are vice principals of the madrasah, RDM operators, class guardians, and subject teachers. The research findings reveal that the madrasah digital report is a policy of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia as a form of digitization development in Madrasah. This RDM application is a transformation from manual reports, consisting of planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. Its advantages include enhancing the effectiveness of student report processing, but its weakness lies in the inability to be accessed remotely from the server.

Abstract

This study discusses the Development of Discipline Culture of each Student in an effort to improve discipline. Likewise, what happened at Islam Junior High School (MTs Negeri) Takalar. Where the Implementation of Vision and Mission Becomes a benchmark for achieving disciplined Students. This study is a descriptive Qualitative study, Data collection instruments are observation, interviews and documentation, Informants in this study were the head of the madrasah, deputy head of the madrasah, homeroom teachers, and subject teachers, Students. The results of the study showed that the Culture of Discipline at Islam Junior High School (MTs Negeri) Takalar is a school culture based on Islamic culture, which prioritizes emotional spiritual development and strict discipline without neglecting intellectual development. The level of discipline of students at Islam Junior High School (MTs Negeri) Takalar is quite good, several discipline factors, based on observations and data obtained, students show a fairly good level of discipline in terms of time discipline, dress discipline, discipline in class, and discipline in school activities. The impact of implementing the school's vision and mission in developing a culture of discipline at Islam Junior High School (MTs Negeri) Takalar is that the school applies a disciplined attitude to students, both directly and indirectly and consciously, where the school culture that is applied is in accordance with the vision and mission that have been prepared by the school.
