Abstract

[Bahasa]: Rendahnya tingkat literasi finansial di Indonesia, khususnya di kalangan pelajar dan pendidik, menjadi tantangan serius dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang cerdas secara finansial. Berdasarkan survei OJK tahun 2022, indeks literasi keuangan nasional baru mencapai 49,68%, jauh di bawah target 75%. Guru sebagai agen pendidikan, serta siswa sebagai generasi penerus, perlu mendapatkan pemahaman yang kuat mengenai pengelolaan keuangan dan investasi sejak dini. Menjawab tantangan tersebut, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan pemahaman strategi investasi bagi guru dan siswa SMA/SMK Muhammadiyah Sukabumi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan bekal pengetahuan yang aplikatif dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomi modern, termasuk risiko investasi ilegal, pinjaman online, dan judi online. Metode yang digunakan adalah service learning, dengan melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa, guru, dan siswa dalam dua sesi edukasi. Sesi pertama membahas literasi keuangan dasar, seperti pengelolaan pemasukan dan pengeluaran, perbedaan kebutuhan dan keinginan, tabungan, serta pengelolaan anggaran. Sesi kedua membahas strategi menentukan investasi, termasuk pemahaman jenis-jenis investasi, profil risiko, teknik memilih investasi, serta pentingnya legalitas dan diversifikasi. Hasil evaluasi yang diukur melalui pretest dan posttest menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan. Rata-rata skor literasi keuangan meningkat dari 48,57% menjadi 81,29%, sedangkan pemahaman tentang strategi investasi meningkat dari 37,81% menjadi 80,31%. Hasil ini membuktikan efektivitas program dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran peserta terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan keuangan yang cerdas dan aman. Program ini direkomendasikan sebagai model edukasi berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan indeks literasi keuangan nasional, khususnya di lingkungan pendidikan menengah. Kata Kunci: edukasi, literasi financial, service learning, strategi investasi, SMK/SMA Muhammadiyah Sukabumi [English]: The inadequate financial literacy in Indonesia, particularly among students and educators, poses a significant obstacle to the development of a financially astute society. According to the 2022 OJK poll, the national financial literacy score is at merely 49.68%, much below the aim of 75%. Educators and pupils, as the forthcoming generation, must acquire a robust comprehension of financial and investment management from an early age. In response to these problems, this community service initiative was conducted to enhance financial literacy and comprehension of investment techniques for the educators and students of Muhammadiyah Sukabumi High School/Vocational School. This activity aims to impart knowledge relevant to addressing contemporary economic difficulties, such as the risks associated with illicit investments, online loans, and internet gambling. The employed methodology is service learning, engaging lecturers, students, instructors, and pupils in two educational sessions. The initial session addressed fundamental financial literacy, including income and expenditure management, distinctions between needs and wants, saves, and budgetary oversight. The second session addressed ways for evaluating investments, encompassing the comprehension of investment categories, risk profiles, selection methodologies, and the significance of legality and diversification. The evaluation results, assessed by the pretest and posttest, indicated a substantial enhancement in comprehension. The mean financial literacy score rose from 48.57% to 81.29%, and comprehension of investment techniques improved from 37.81% to 80.31%. These results demonstrate the program's efficacy in enhancing participants' knowledge and awareness of the significance of prudent and secure financial management. This program is endorsed as a paradigm of ongoing instruction for enhancing the national financial literacy index, particularly within the secondary education context. Abstract

[Bahasa]: Pengelolaan simpan pinjam yang efisien dan transparan menjadi tantangan utama kelompok PKK, terutama yang masih menggunakan metode manual, menyebabkan kesalahan perhitungan, keterlambatan laporan, dan kurangnya kepercayaan anggota. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, dilakukan pelatihan software keuangan digital berbasis Android melalui pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), melibatkan peserta dalam identifikasi masalah hingga evaluasi. Hasilnya, pelatihan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta sebesar 77%, dengan 88% mampu mengoperasikan software secara mandiri dan akurasi pencatatan mencapai 91%. Efektivitas software PKK Fintech terhadap kinerja laporan keuangan terbukti signifikan: (1) akurasi perhitungan meningkat 83% (kesalahan turun dari 30% menjadi 5%), (2) ketepatan waktu pelaporan naik 183% (dari 30% menjadi 85%), dan (3) kepercayaan anggota meningkat 38% (dari 65% menjadi 90%) dengan rata-rata efektivitas 101.3%. Tingkat kepuasan peserta mencapai 80%, menunjukkan penerimaan yang positif. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan simpan pinjam tetapi juga memperkuat partisipasi komunitas. Kendala utama adalah keterbatasan akses teknologi dan waktu pendampingan. Untuk keberlanjutan, direkomendasikan pengembangan modul digital, pelatihan berkala, dan perluasan implementasi ke kelompok PKK lainnya. Software PKK Fintech telah terbukti sebagai solusi modern yang akuntabel dan berkelanjutan untuk transformasi digital keuangan kelompok PKK. Kata Kunci: simpan pinjam, PKK Fintech, pengelolaan PKK, pelatihan, literasi digital [English]: Efficient and transparent management of savings and loans is a significant challenge for PKK groups, especially those still using manual methods, leading to miscalculations, late reporting, and a lack of member trust. To address this, training was conducted on Android-based digital financial software through the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, involving participants in problem-solving and evaluation. As a result, the training increased participant understanding by 77%, with 88% being able to operate the software independently, and recording accuracy reaching 91%. The results demonstrated the significant effectiveness of the PKK Fintech software on financial reporting performance, as reflected in: (1) calculation accuracy increased by 83% (errors decreased from 30% to 5%), (2) reporting timeliness increased by 183% (from 30% to 85%), and (3) member trust increased by 38% (from 65% to 90%) with an average effectiveness of 101.3%. The participant satisfaction level reached 80%, indicating positive acceptance. This activity increased the efficiency of savings and loan management and strengthened community participation. The main obstacles were limited access to technology and time for mentoring. For this purpose, developing digital modules, conducting regular training, and expanding the implementation of other PKK groups is recommended. PKK Fintech software has proven to be a modern, accountable, and sustainable solution for PKK groups' digital financial transformation. Abstract

[Bahasa]: PNUP-Care merupakan gagasan program kepada masyarakat (PKM) yang diinisiasi melayani kebutuhan implementasi teknologi informasi (TI) bagi masyarakat pada era digitalasisi saat ini. GMA-community merupakan mitra PNUP-Care sebagai pilot-project pengembangan IT Rumah Ibadah pertama di wilayah kota Makassar. Rumah ibadah sebagai pusat ritual keagamaan, namun manakala dilengkapi sarana dan prasarana TI secara maksimal maka institusi ini akan menjadi lembaga referensi pendidikan karakter sekaligus pusat pengembangan kegiatan sosial kemasyarakatan baik pada aspek intelektual dan spiritual secara seimbang. Terdapat tiga aktivitas pilot-project PNUP-Care sebagai bagian dari permasalahan mitra yakni sarana dan prasarana, mutu pelayanan, dan sumber daya pengelola IT. Dengan metode observasi, teknologi transfer, penyuluhan/pelatihan, dan praktek/dem diperoleh hasil kegiatan diantranya (1) pengembangan website masjid berbasis mobile-web (2) instalasi GMA-Net berbasis fiber-optik, bebas akses dan unlimited bandwidth dan instalasi CCTV (TV monitor) multi-user yang dapat diakses oleh orangtua santri dan pengurus jamaah, (3) pelatihan berbasis learning-by-project dan coaching dengan pengenalan aplikasi web/mobile Pro dalam design grafis untuk membuat konten dakwah Islam yang menarik. Sistem digitalisasi rumah ibadah, khususnya masjid, dapat meningkatkan akses informasi global ke seluruh elemen jamaah (orangtua, remaja dan anak-anak) dalam menambah wawasan keislaman sekaligus media dakwah Islam di kekinian. Hal ini sekaligus juga sebagai langkah strategis dalam memakmurkan masjid, mendukung Gerakan Ayo Ke Masjid dan Masjid Ramah Anak (RMA). Kata Kunci: PNUP-Care, Teknologi Informasi, Masjid, Rumah Ibadah, Masjid Ramah Anak [English]: PNUP-Care is a community service initiative (PKM) designed to address the implementation needs of information technology (IT) for communities in today’s digital era. GMA-community serves as the partner for PNUP-Care and acts as the pilot project for the first IT-based House of Worship development in the city of Makassar. Houses of worship are traditionally centers for religious rituals; however, when equipped with optimal IT facilities and infrastructure, they can also serve as institutions for character education and as hubs for intellectual and spiritual community development. The PNUP-Care pilot project focuses on addressing three core issues faced by the partner institution: infrastructure, service quality, and IT management human resources. Using methods such as observation, technology transfer, counseling/training, and practical demonstrations, the project achieved several outcomes, including (1) the development of a mosque website based on mobile-web technology, (2) the installation of GMA-Net, a fiber-optic-based network providing free access and unlimited bandwidth, along with the installation of multi-user CCTV (TV monitors) accessible by both the parents of students and the mosque management, and (3) project-based learning and coaching sessions introducing professional-grade web/mobile design applications for creating engaging Islamic preaching content. The digitalization of houses of worship—particularly mosques—can significantly improve access to global information for all congregational segments (parents, youth, and children), enrich Islamic understanding, and provide a modern platform for Islamic outreach. This initiative also represents a strategic step in revitalizing mosque functions, supporting the "Let's Go to the Mosque" movement and promoting Child-Friendly Mosques (RMA). Abstract

[Bahasa]: Adiksi narkoba merupakan permasalahan serius yang berdampak luas terhadap kesehatan mental dan kesejahteraan psikososial remaja di Indonesia. Provinsi Jawa Barat tercatat sebagai wilayah dengan tingkat kerugian sosial ekonomi tertinggi akibat penyalahgunaan narkotika, sehingga diperlukan upaya pencegahan yang bersifat promotif dan preventif serta berorientasi pada penguatan kapasitas psikologis remaja. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman remaja mengenai penyalahgunaan narkoba serta mendukung perbaikan kondisi kesehatan mental melalui layanan konseling dan edukasi berbasis kebutuhan psikososial. PkM dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang dalam praktiknya menunjukkan kesesuaian dengan prinsip Participatory Action Research (PAR), melalui pelibatan aktif peserta dalam proses identifikasi kebutuhan, pelaksanaan intervensi, serta refleksi kegiatan. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan psikososial remaja melalui asesmen awal dan dialog terbuka, pelaksanaan intervensi berupa telekonseling dan edukasi kesehatan mental, serta evaluasi reflektif untuk menilai manfaat dan kebermaknaan kegiatan bagi peserta. Pendekatan ini menempatkan remaja sebagai subjek aktif, dengan memperhatikan pengalaman subjektif, konteks sosial, dan kondisi psikologis yang melingkupi mereka. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman remaja terkait jenis-jenis narkoba, faktor penyebab, dan dampak penyalahgunaan narkoba. Selain itu, remaja yang mengikuti konseling melaporkan merasa lebih terbantu dalam mengenali dan mengelola permasalahan kesehatan mental yang dialami. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa telekonseling dan edukasi kesehatan mental berbasis pendekatan psikohumaniora dapat menjadi strategi PkM yang bermakna dalam mendukung pencegahan penyalahgunaan narkoba. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada penguatan kesehatan mental remaja dan pengembangan model PkM yang kontekstual dan berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: kesehatan mental remaja, pencegahan narkoba, telekonseling, pendekatan partisipatif [English]: Drug addiction remains a serious public health issue with far-reaching consequences for the mental health and psychosocial well-being of adolescents in Indonesia. West Java Province has been identified as the region experiencing the highest socioeconomic losses due to narcotics abuse, highlighting the urgent need for promotive and preventive interventions that strengthen adolescents’ psychological resilience. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance adolescents’ understanding of drug abuse and to support improvements in mental health through psychosocially oriented counseling and educational services. The program was implemented using a participatory approach grounded in the principles of Participatory Action Research (PAR), emphasizing active involvement of participants in identifying needs, participating in interventions, and reflecting on program outcomes. The program stages consist of identifying adolescents’ psychosocial needs through initial assessments and open dialogue; delivering interventions through telecounseling services and mental health education; and conducting reflective evaluations to assess perceived benefits and the program’s meaningfulness to participants. This approach positions adolescents as active subjects, taking into account their subjective experiences, social context, and the psychological conditions in which they live. The findings indicated an increased understanding among adolescents regarding types of drugs, contributing factors, and impacts of drug abuse. Moreover, participants who received telecounseling reported feeling more supported in recognizing and managing their mental health challenges. These results suggest that telecounseling combined with mental health education, grounded in a psychohumanistic approach, represents a meaningful community service strategy for supporting drug abuse prevention. This program is expected to strengthen adolescent mental health and support the development of contextual, sustainable community service models. Abstract

[Bahasa]: Keterbatasan siswa SMKS Indonesia Membangun 1, khususnya program keahlian Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ), dalam mengonversi pengetahuan pemrograman dasar menjadi artefak digital yang aplikatif menjadi latar belakang kegiatan ini. Pembelajaran yang berfokus pada sistem jaringan menyebabkan penerapan konsep pemrograman belum terintegrasi dengan kebutuhan pengembangan digital. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menjembatani kesenjangan tersebut melalui pelatihan pengembangan antarmuka web berbasis HTML dan CSS. Program dirancang dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pelatihan tatap muka, dan evaluasi. Sebanyak 55 siswa berpartisipasi dalam program. Evaluasi kuantitatif dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test menggunakan 10 soal objektif pada platform Kahoot!, dengan analisis data secara deskriptif berdasarkan skor total dan jumlah jawaban yang benar. Skor Kahoot! merepresentasikan akurasi dan kecepatan jawaban. Capaian praktik dievaluasi melalui produk antarmuka web sederhana yang dikembangkan oleh siswa dalam siklus PAR. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi yang signifikan. Rerata skor peserta meningkat dari 2.041,91 menjadi 4.828,78, dan rerata jawaban benar meningkat dari 2,91 menjadi 5,98 dari 10 soal. Meski efektif, evaluasi berbasis daring menghadapi kendala teknis seperti ketergantungan pada koneksi internet. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar kegiatan serupa di masa depan mengembangkan instrumen penilaian yang kompatibel dengan pembelajaran luring serta mempertimbangkan pendekatan low-code/no-code sebagai strategi pedagogis inklusif untuk memfasilitasi beragam tingkat kesiapan siswa dalam menghasilkan artefak digital. Kata Kunci: desain web, keterampilan digital, kurikulum independen, teknologi [English]: The limitations of SMKS Indonesia Membangun 1 students, particularly those in the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) program, in converting basic programming knowledge into applicable digital artifacts served as the background for this activity. Learning focused on network systems has resulted in the application of programming concepts not being integrated with digital development needs. This community service activity aims to bridge this gap by providing training in developing HTML- and CSS-based web interfaces. The program was designed using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach that included needs analysis, learning design, face-to-face training implementation, and evaluation. A total of 55 students participated in the program. Quantitative evaluation was conducted through pre-tests and post-tests using 10 objective questions on the Kahoot! platform, with descriptive data analysis based on the total score and the number of correct answers. The Kahoot! score represents the accuracy and speed of answers. Practical achievements were evaluated through a simple web interface product developed by students in the PAR cycle. The results showed a significant increase in competency. The average score of participants increased from 2,041.91 to 4,828.78, and the average correct answer rate increased from 2.91 to 5.98 out of 10 questions. Although effective, online-based evaluations face technical challenges such as dependence on an internet connection. Therefore, it is recommended that similar activities in the future develop assessment instruments that are compatible with offline learning and consider low-code/no-code approaches as inclusive pedagogical strategies to facilitate diverse levels of student readiness in producing digital artifacts. Abstract

[Bahasa]: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan pendidikan abad ke-21 yang ditandai oleh perubahan cepat, ketidakpastian, dan kompleksitas yang menuntut guru mampu merancang pembelajaran yang bermakna dan berorientasi pada pemahaman mendalam siswa. Observasi awal di MI Lombok Islamic School dan MI NW Lingsar menunjukkan bahwa guru masih cenderung menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada penyampaian materi dan belum optimal dalam menyusun perangkat ajar yang berbasis pembelajaran mendalam sesuai Kurikulum Merdeka. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam memahami, merancang, dan menerapkan pembelajaran mendalam yang inovatif, kontekstual, dan berpusat pada perkembangan berpikir siswa. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan metode kolaboratif-partisipatif. Metode ini melibatkan guru secara aktif sebagai mitra setara dalam seluruh tahapan kegiatan melalui asesmen kebutuhan, lokakarya intensif, pendampingan penyusunan perangkat ajar, praktik mengajar terbimbing, serta diskusi keilmuan berbasis komunitas belajar, sehingga terjadi proses pemberdayaan sekaligus transfer keahlian yang relevan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap konsep dan strategi pembelajaran mendalam, perbaikan signifikan dalam kualitas perangkat ajar, serta meningkatnya kepercayaan diri guru dalam menerapkan asesmen autentik dan aktivitas belajar yang mendorong berpikir tingkat tinggi. Kegiatan ini memiliki kontribusi terhadap penguatan kapasitas pedagogik guru di MI Lombok Islamic School dan MI NW Lingsar dan menjadi fondasi penting bagi keberlanjutan transformasi pembelajaran berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka di Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Kata Kunci: penguatan kapasitas, guru sekolah dasar, pembelajaran mendalam [English]: This Community Service initiative is motivated by the challenges of 21st-century education, characterized by rapid change, uncertainty, and complexity, which require teachers to design meaningful learning experiences that foster students' deep understanding. Initial observations at MI Lombok Islamic School and MI NW Lingsar indicate that teachers still tend to use a delivery-oriented learning approach and are not yet optimal in developing in-depth learning-based teaching materials in accordance with the Independent Curriculum. This activity aims to improve teacher competency in understanding, designing, and implementing innovative, contextual, and in-depth learning that focuses on students' thinking development. This community service initiative is implemented through a collaborative, participatory approach. This method actively involves teachers as equal partners at all stages of the activity through needs assessments, intensive workshops, mentoring in developing teaching materials, guided teaching practices, and community-based scientific discussions, resulting in empowerment and the transfer of relevant skills. Evaluation results indicate increased teacher understanding of in-depth learning concepts and strategies, significant improvements in the quality of teaching materials, and increased teacher confidence in implementing authentic assessments and learning activities that encourage higher-order thinking. This activity contributes to strengthening the pedagogical capacity of teachers at MI Lombok Islamic School and MI NW Lingsar, becoming an essential foundation for the sustainability of the Independent Curriculum-based learning transformation in West Lombok Regency. [Bahasa]: Untuk mendukung tata kelola digital di wilayah perdesaan, Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (Diskominfo) Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat telah mengimplementasikan sistem informasi desa berbasis open source, OpenSID, di 65 desa dan kelurahan pada delapan kecamatan. Penulis terlibat langsung dalam proses implementasi, mencakup instalasi sistem, pelatihan operator, serta pendampingan teknis sebagai bagian dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat adopsi awal dan pemanfaatan sistem tersebut, khususnya pada aspek pengisian data kependudukan selama enam bulan pertama pasca-implementasi. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan mengamati data statistik yang tersedia secara publik melalui situs resmi desa. Analisis dilakukan dengan membandingkan jumlah entri penduduk dalam sistem dengan estimasi jumlah penduduk tiap desa untuk mengukur progres pengisian data. Hasil menunjukkan adanya variasi signifikan antarwilayah, yang mencerminkan ketimpangan dalam pemanfaatan sistem. Ketimpangan ini berpotensi memengaruhi akses layanan publik digital dan efisiensi administrasi kependudukan di tingkat lokal. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya dukungan teknis berkelanjutan, pelatihan lanjutan, dan monitoring berkala guna memastikan keberhasilan dan keberlanjutan digitalisasi desa. Kata Kunci: OpenSID, sistem informasi desa, evaluasi pemanfaatan, data kependudukan, desa digital [English]: To support digital governance in rural areas, the Department of Communication and Information Technology (Diskominfo) of West Sumbawa Regency has implemented an open-source Village Information System, OpenSID, across 65 villages and sub-districts in eight districts. This study presents the implementation process and an initial evaluation of system utilization, focusing on population data entry during the first six months post-deployment. The author played an active role in the implementation, including system deployment, technical training, and mentoring of village operators as part of a structured community service program. A quantitative approach was used by observing publicly available statistical data from official village websites. The analysis measured data entry progress by comparing recorded population entries in the system with estimated village population figures. Findings reveal significant disparities among regions, indicating uneven system utilization that could lead to imbalances in access to digital public services and administrative efficiency. This study highlights the importance of technical support, continuous training, and regular monitoring to ensure the success and sustainability of rural digital transformation. The results offer practical insights for future policy development and replication in other rural regions. Abstract

[Bahasa]: Rendahnya pemahaman orang tua siswa Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) Dahlia mengenai pola asuh positif berbasis nilai-nilai Islam berimplikasi pada kurang optimalnya perkembangan emosional dan sosial anak usia dini. Fokus pengabdian adalah pemberdayaan keluarga melalui sosialisasi parenting Islami untuk membentuk pola asuh yang mendukung perkembangan holistik anak. Tujuan pengabdian adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan 22 orang tua wali siswa dalam menerapkan pola asuh positif yang mengedepankan kasih sayang, keteladanan, dan komunikasi efektif berbasis ajaran Islam. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan metode interaktif, meliputi presentasi, simulasi praktik parenting, dan diskusi kelompok. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam satu sesi berdurasi 2 jam di ruang serbaguna PAUD Dahlia, dengan melibatkan kolaborasi pengelola PAUD dan perwakilan orang tua dalam perencanaan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pasca kegiatan dan laporan partisipan, terjadi penurunan persepsi penggunaan hukuman fisik dari 60% menjadi 15%, peningkatan partisipasi orang tua dalam kegiatan sekolah dari 30% menjadi 75%, serta peningkatan pemahaman mengenai komunikasi efektif dengan anak hingga 80%. Selain itu, sebanyak 90% orang tua melaporkan meningkatnya kesadaran terhadap peran keteladanan, dan 85% menyatakan lebih percaya diri dalam menerapkan pola asuh positif berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Pengabdian ini berhasil menciptakan perubahan sosial awal melalui pendekatan berbasis nilai Islami dan kolaborasi komunitas, dengan potensi pengembangan melalui sesi lanjutan untuk memperkuat dampak jangka panjang. Kata Kunci: pola asuh, karakter, pendidikan anak usia dini, Participatory Action Research [English]: Limited understanding among parents of students at PAUD Dahlia regarding positive parenting grounded in Islamic values has been associated with suboptimal emotional and social development in early childhood. This community service program aims to empower families through Islamic parenting socialization and promote parenting practices that support children’s holistic development. The program sought to enhance the knowledge and skills of 22 parents and guardians in implementing positive parenting practices that emphasize affection, role modeling, and effective communication within an Islamic framework. A Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach was employed, utilizing interactive methods such as presentations, parenting practice simulations, and group discussions. The activity was conducted in a single two-hour session at the multipurpose hall of PAUD Dahlia, with the collaborative involvement of PAUD administrators and parent representatives during the planning stage. Findings from post-activity evaluations and participant self-reports indicate a perceived reduction in the use of physical punishment from 60% to 15%, an increase in parental participation in school activities from 30% to 75%, and an improvement in understanding of effective parent–child communication to 80%. Furthermore, 90% of parents reported heightened awareness of their role as role models, and 85% expressed increased confidence in applying positive parenting practices grounded in Islamic values. Overall, this initiative contributed to initial social change through a value-based and community-oriented approach, with opportunities for further development through follow-up sessions to strengthen its long-term impact.
