Abstract

Capital market in Indonesia in its development has shown its place as part of the economic instruments , which is used as a reference by researchers and practitioners in seeing the picture of the Indonesian economy . Empirical data show that from 2008 to the end of 2012 fluctuations in the Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG), which tends to increase. It proves that economic indicators several years after the global crisis indicate the symptoms restoration of confidence is increasing. In general, experts agree that the international stock exchanges interlinked with each other . In this case , usually the larger exchanges will affect the smaller exchanges. Since the growth of the Indonesian capital market quite rapidly, it appears that the capital market in Indonesia is also indicated relatively vulnerable to macroeconomic conditions of the world in general. It is necessary to study factors that influences Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG). The global stock indices that used in this study are: the Dow Jones index, Nikkei 225 index, Shanghai Composite Index (SSE), UK : FT100, KLCI, STI index, which taken monthly from January 2005 until December 2014. The macroeconomic indicators that used in this study include oil prices, gold prices, and the exchange rate USD / IDR that taken monthly from January 2005 until December 2014. To determine whether a stock index and global economic indicators have a positive or negative effect on IHSG, a tool already used in this study, which is using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the Dow Jones index, Shanghai index, UK : FT100 index, KLCI index, and STI Index significantly give the positive effect to IHSG, while the Nikkei 225 index variable, world oil prices, gold prices, and the exchange rate USD/IDR giving negative effect to IHSG. Future studies wishing to examine the influence of multiple indices and global economic indicators of the condition of the Indonesian capital market can add a variable index of Asia Pacific countries such as: Hang Seng Index (Hong Kong), Kospi Index (South Korea), BSE index (India) and macroeconomic variables such as: inflation, BI rate, GDP (Gross Domestic Product).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, organizationalcommitment on job satisfaction and performance of employees of PT. PLN (Persero)Rayon Area Dumai Rayon Duri Bengkalis Regency. Responden are employees of PT.PLN (Persero) Area Dumai Rayon Duri Bengkalis Regency is 104 people.Theindependent variables consist of leadership, organizational commitment, and jobsatisfaction as an intervening variable. While the dependent variable is the performanceof employees, hypothesis testing was done using a model path anlysis.The results showthat there is a positive and significant influence directly the leadership andorganizational commitment to job satisfaction. Furthermore, there are also positive andsignificant influence directly the leadership and organizational commitment to employeeperformance, whereas no significant effect on job satisfaction. Then the influence ofleadership and organizational commitment indirectly to employee performance throughjob satisfaction has positive influence that job satisfaction as an intervening variable canimprove employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the effect of executive and legislativerelations, public transparency, public participation, and educational background onbudget process and budget quality of budget process as an intervening variable.Thepopulation in this study was the Riau provincial government as the executive, RiauProvincial Assembly Members as the legislatives and the Non GovernmentalOrganization (NGO) as the representative of the community. The number of samples inthis study were 145 samples with purposive sampling method. There were 125respondents who had returned the questionnaire. The analysis tool used was pathanalysis.Results of the analysis showed that executive and legislative, publictransparency, and educational background direct affects the budget quality.Furthermore, there were no significant effect of community participation. While thisstudy showed that the budget process is able to mediate effect of executive andlegislative relations, public transparency, and educational background on the budgetquality, but the budget process is unable to mediate public participation on the budgetquality.

Abstract

A very tight competition among hospitals, the practices of midwives, physician practices,and other healthcare services, demanding RS Syafira Pekanbaru to improve the quality ofservice that can meet patient’s expectations or desire. To create a quality of service that canachieve patient satisfaction, could not be separated from the role of human resources whohave the attitude, behavior, knowledge, and ability to support the effectiveness of therealization of quality service.This study aimed to analyze the influence of the quality ofservice that consists of the quality of interaction, the quality of the physical environment,and the quality of the results of the patient satisfaction and loyalty. The sample of this studywas 75 patients from RS Syafira Pekanbaru who were hospitalized were selected accordingto the criteria in research.Data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS). The first toseventh hypotesis was tested using path coefficient, T static, and original sample. The resultfrom this study shows that the quality of service which is the quality of interaction, has anegative effect on patient satisfaction, but the quality of interaction also have a positiveimpact on patient loyalty. The quality of the physical environment and the quality of theresults has a positive impact on patient satisfaction and loyalty. The satisfaction of patientalso has positive impact into the loyalty of patient.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the determinants of ecological purchasing decisions. An understanding of these factors is important to know the purchasing decisions of people who can contribute to save the environment. Based on the scale developed from many previous studies, this study Analyzing ecological product purchasing decisions through Perception, Attention On Environment, Consumer Effectiveness, Collectivism, Willingness to Pay More Expensive, interests and actions and their impact on the environment in the City Pekanbaru.Data collected using a questionnaire, then analyzed using SPSS statistical. Research shows Perception, Attention On Environment, Consumer Effectiveness,, Interests and Actions positive effect. Furthermore, environmental concerns affecting the willingness to pay a higher price. Other funding is environmental issues and the effectiveness of the receiving ecological influence purchasing behavior, however, in this study the effects of collectivism and willingness to pay more toward ecological decisions purchese insignificant. Based on these results. Companies can design products and marketing communications program appropriate and in accordance with customer expectations, while for the government, the results of this study can be used as input to determine the policies that can save the environment.

Abstract

Bank performance appraisal is based on bank financial report itself. The financial report can be form balance report which give information about the financial position to the outside of bank that can be used of eksternal to assess the level of risk exist in a bank. Based on ownership consist of national bank, mixture bank and foreign bank. These banks has tight compete to show a good performance to the public in order to face ASEAN Economic Community.This research aimed to analyze the financial performance difference of national bank, mixture bank and foreign bank in order to face ASEAN Economic Community at the period of 2010 to 2014 with the financial ratio consist of : Banking Ratio, Primary Ratio, Return On Assets, Economic Value Added and Market Value Added. The population in this research consist of national bank, mixture bank, and foreign bank listed on Bank of Indonesia at the period of 2010 to 2014 which amount 120 banks. Based on purposive sampling techniques, the number of samples that meet the criteria are as many as 30 banks (15 national banks, 6 mixture banks, and 9 foreign banks). Analysis technique that use in this research is t-test. The result of this research base on hypothesis test show that foreign bank financial performance is better than national bank and mixture bank financial performance based of Banking Ratio, Primary Ratio and Market Value Added. Then national bank financial performance is better than mixture bank and foreign bank financial performance based of Return On Assets and Economic Value Added.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of compensation and communicationon job satisfaction and performance of employees of the plant.The analytical toolis a two-stage regression with SPSS 17 for windows. The research method is descriptivequantitative. Samples are employees of the plant amounts to 126 people. Data collectiontechniques are questionnaires and interviews.Results from this research indicate that: (1)Compensation and communication together affect the job satisfaction of employees ofthe plant. (2) Compensation effect on job satisfaction of employees of the plant (3) Communicationaffect the job satisfaction of employees of the plant. (4) Job satisfaction affectthe performance of employees of the plant.Results of the research have implicationsfor compensation and communication of employees that needs to be improved in order toincrease job satisfaction and if employees satisfaction in the plant increases, the performanceof employees of the plant will also increase.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Service Quality and BrandEquity on customer satisfaction. To analyze the effect of Service Quality andBrand Equity on Consumer loyalty To analyze the influence of customersatisfaction on consumer loyalty PT. Global Core Agro in Pekanbaru City.The research population is farmers as much as 670 people and retailers405 people, so in 2016 as many as 1,075 consumers at PT. Global Inti Agro inPekanbaru City. The sample size that will be used is 136 people. Data analysisusing WarpPLS approach. WarpPLS is one of the variance-based SEM statisticalmethods designed to solve multiple regressions when specific data problemsoccur, such as very small sample size, missing values and multicollinearity.WarpPLS is an alternative approach that shifts from a Covarian-based SEMapproach to a variance-based.The results of this study indicate that the better the quality of service, itcan provide satisfaction to consumers and ultimately can increase the number ofconsumers. The better the brand equity can provide satisfaction to customersatisfaction and ultimately the number of consumers will increase. The better thequality of services provided will certainly make consumers become loyal, with thebetter the service provided will certainly increase customer satisfaction andimpact on customer loyalty to the company. The better the brand equity accordingto the given consumer will certainly make the consumer become very confidenttowards the company, with the advent of trust in the company will certainlyincrease customer loyalty to the company. The higher satisfaction obtained byconsumers to make consumers more satisfied, so with the satisfaction ofconsumers will increase customer loyalty to the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine differences in the performance of banks in Indonesia, especially BUMN’s Banking and Banking implementing Merger and Acquisition Cross Country, using the study period of 2 years before and 2 years after the transfer of regulatory and supervisory functions Perbankan dari Bank Indonesia to the Financial Services Authority.The population in this study are all BUMN’s Banking and Banking conducting mergers and acquisitions by foreign parties from 2012 to 2015. The sample used in this study was 14 Bank which consists of 4 BUMN’s Banking and 10 Banking conducting Transnational Merger and Acquisition . Methods of data analysis research using purposive sampling method by using paired sample t-test analysis and independent sample t-test.The result of research shows that BUMN’s Banking only BOPO and LDR variables are significant, while CAR, NPL and ROA variables are not significantly different. In Banking that perform merger and Acquisition of Cross Country only variable of NPL, ROA and BOPO there are significant difference whereas CAR and LDR variable there is no significant difference. In the BUMN’s Banking and Banking implementing Merger and Acquisition Cross Country After Transfer of functions Regulation and Supervision of Banking of Bank Indonesia to the Financial Services Authority, only ROA and BOPO that there are significant differences, while variable CAR, NPL and LDR is not a significantdifference .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style, work stressand compensation on morale and performance of employees of Bank Rakyat IndonesiaBranch Office Sudirman Pekanbaru. The analytical method used in this research is descriptivestatistical analysis and inferential statistics through Multiple RegressionAnalysis.This research method used survey method, with a total population of 132 respondentswere entirely permanent employees of Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch OfficeSudirman Pekanbaru. Before testing the hypothesis, test the validity and reliability of theprimary data questionnaire using SPSS version 17.0. The regression equation was thentested with an analysis of the classical assumption of normality test, multiolinieritas,heterocedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. Analysis of the influence depeden andindependent variables was analyzed with t-test, F, determinant coefficient (R ²) and correlationcoefficient (R)Results of research addressing partially and simultaneously factorleadership style, job stress and compensation has a positive and significant impact onmorale and performance of employees of Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Office SudirmanPekanbaru.
