Abstract

This research aims to determine student readiness Strata-1 Universitas Riau in response toPermendikbud No. 49 year 2014 on National Standards Higher Education by collecting informationthrough questionnaires distributed to 300 students from three faculties: FKIP, Faculty of Fisheries, andthe Faculty of Economics.The results showed that the majority (59%) already know the information about Permendikbud No. 49year 2014 but 60% of students who already know the rules, there is only 30% understood what thePermendikbud enactment. 44% of participants stated that the current curriculum support for thecompletion of the study within five years. Related facilities support the learning process, studentsadmitted only 27% of participants who claim to support. For policies issued by each faculty has beengood according to participants. 48% of participants stated that the already available standard operatingprocedures (SOP) that support the completion of the study within five years, while only 23% ofparticipants stating have been implemented. Supporting of information systems that available is stillconsidered to be less while the facultys commitment to help students rated by the participants arerelatively well linked to the lecture, score, and preceptor. Similiarly with associated with non-academicservice by employees still need to be improved.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine and analyze the influence of leadership andwork ability on performance with commitment as intervening variable. The studywas conducted in LPP RRI Padang.The data used consist of primary and secondary data. Data were collected byusing questionnaires that given to 108 employees of LPP RRI Padang that usedCensus Sample. Descriptive analysis method is used to describe thecharacteristics of respondents and the research hyphotheses by using relevantstatistical tests. Variables used are leadership and work ability as independentvariable, performance as dependent variable and commitment to intervening ormediation variable. Analyzer used is path analysis by using program of SPSS 21for windows.The results of this study conclude that leadership has a direct influencesignificantly on performance, the work ability directly influence significantly toperformance and commitment have a significant effect on performance. Indirectly,commitment has positive mediation role on the influence of leadership onperformance and commitment has a positive mediation role on the influence ofwork ability on performance. The improvement of leadership effectiveness) andwork ability are recommended in order to optimize employee performance andcommitment.

Abstract

The Purpose of this study was to examine the influence clarity budgetarytargets, reporting systems, competency to performance accountability of governmentinstitution through organizational commitment as an intervening variable, specificallyinstitution of Kampar district. Respondents in this study are the civil servants whoserved as head of finance, program and evaluation, staff in 20 OPD of Kampar district.The amount of samples in this research was 80 respondents. The sample collectionmethod using proportional stratified sampling, while the method of processing datausing Partial Least Square. Result of this study indicates that clarity budgetary targets,competency, organizational commitment have significant effects on performanceaccountability of government institution, in otherhand, reporting systems doesn’t havesignificant effect. Clarity budgetary targets and competency to the performanceaccountability of the government institution through organizational commitment as anintervening variable have significant effects.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II inPekanbaru. This research aimed to observe the effect of knowledge management andorganizational learning on career development and employees’ performance.This researchused 138 respondents as sample and used purposive sampling as sampling method. Pathanalysis used to determine the effect of career development as mediating variable in therelationship between knowledge management and organizational learning to employeesperformance.The result showed that knowledge management and organizational learninghad significant effect on career development, then knowledge management and careerdevelopment were also having significant effect on employees’ performance. Besidethat, career development mediated the relationship between knowledge management andorganizational learning on employees’ performance.

Abstract

Human resource is an important topic that should be discussed and alsomanaged by a company. Human resource in the application is often not align with thevision of the company. Indeed, a suistanable management resource is an importantfactor for the success of a company. Therefore, there are variety of ways to improveemployee’s loyalty and performance results through rewarding employees andassessing competence in order to produce professional and high integrity employees.This study aims to observe the effect of reward and competence to performance throughemployee loyalty in Five Star Hotels, Pekanbaru. The study population initially were144 employees. The sample population was selected using the Slovin formula, whichonly a total of 106 employees’ data are collected. Questionnaire were used for datacollectection, and the methods of data analysis using path analysis. The results shownthe reward and competence individualy have significant and positive impact onemployee loyalty and performance Five Star Hotel in Pekanbaru. In contrary, loyaltydoes not mediate the effect of reward and competence on employee’s performance.

Abstract

The research seeks to analyze the effect of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty Supplier of Fresh Fruit Bunches and Customer Satisfaction on Loyalty Supplier of Fresh Fruit Bunches in PTPN V-Pekanbaru.The numbers of respondents involved were 127 respondents supplier of fresh fruit bunches in PTPN V used probability sampling with sample types using stratified random sampling. The data collection including interview, observation and questioner analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis.Based on statistics analysis results there were several conclusion as follows: The first customer relationship management is significant and positive effect on satisfaction supplier fresh fruit bunches (FFB), Second service quality is significant and positive effect on satisfaction supplier of fresh fruit bunches (FFB), third customer relationship management is not significant and positive effect on loyalty supplier of fresh fruit bunches (FFB), fourth the service quality is significant and positive effect on loyalty of suppliers of fresh fruit bunches (FFB), Fifth the satisfaction is not significant and positive effect on loyalty of suppliers of fresh fruit bunches (FFB), sixth generally loyalty and satisfaction of suppliers is already in the good category.Based on research result of the study, suggested the following matters: first the increase of customer relationship management is more focused on continuity marketing and one-to-one marketing. second the increase of quality of service more focused on reliability, empathy, and responsiveness, third enhancement supplier loyalty must be directed so that suppliers increasingly recommending to suppliers other fresh fruit bunches to supply fresh fruit bunches of oil mill PTPN V.

Abstract

This study to aims to determine the effect of managerial ownership, institutional ownership, foreign ownership, individual ownership, debt policy and dividend policy of the previous year the dividend on the company’s food and beverage manufacturers do sectors listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010 to 2015. To achieve the goal the research conducted by taking a sample of 14 companies manufacturers do food and beverage sector listed in In donesia Stock Exchange in 2010 to 2015. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression model. The results showed that managerial ownership, institutional ownership, foreign ownership, individual ownership, debt policy and dividend policy of the previous year jointly significant effect on dividend policy. Partially managerial ownership and debt policy does not have a negative significant effect on dividend policy, foreign ownership does not have a positive significant effect on dividend policy, individual ownership and the previous year’s dividend partially positive significant effect on dividend policy.

Abstract

Analysis Comparative of Customer’s Expectation, Store Image And Customer SatisfactionAt Special Store In Pekanbaru. Leadered by Sri Indarti and Lilis Sulistyowati ,This research waspurposed to know store image at Ace hardware, Global bangunan and Batam elektronik to lookdifference and comparison of customer’s expectation, store image and customer’s satisfaction atspecial store : Ace Hardware, Global Bangunan and Batam Elektronik.The collection of dataquestioner, divided into 150 respondents with every store was 50 respondent that took with methodepurposive sampling. Data analysis used factor analysis and analysis variance Anova by SPSS 17.Theresult of the research indicate that formed six dimensions store image in every special store byanalysing factor. Based on analyzsis Anova and Poshoc test, Variable of cutomer’s expctation didnotexist difference of perception respondent, whlie variable of store image and customer’s satisfactionexisedt difference significantly at perception respondent between three special store.The comparisonof every atribute at there special store has quality at items that different such as Ace hardware hasneccessity, Global bangunan has seller attitude and Batam elektronik has strategic location. Whilemost quality were compared two spesial store is Global bangunan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence transformational leadership andcompetence toward motivation and work performance of government internalsupervisor (GIS – APIP) of Inspektorat Provinsi Riau. The background of the study isthat the work performance of government internal supervisor is (so far) very low. Thismatter needs a solution in order to increase the work performance quality to the level ofgood or effective in commencing his/her functions.The data of the study consist ofprimary and secondary data from 111 civil servants as the population and sample aswell (total sample). The needed data were collected through questionnaire andinterview. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis andquantitative analysis to test the hypothesis by applying PLS (Partial Least SquareVersion 3). The findings of the research are as the following: (1) there is a significantinfluence between transformational leadership and work performance of governmentinternal supervisor (GIS – APIP), (2) there is a significant influence betweencompetence and work performance of government internal supervisor (GIS – APIP), (3)there is positive influence but not significant between transformational leadershiptoward motivation (as an interviewing variable), (4) there is a positive influence but notsignificant between competence and work performance through motivation, (5) there isa positive influence but not significant between motivation and work performance ofgovernment internal supervisor (GIS – APIP)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not the amount of number of member, internal capital, external capital, bussiness volume, total asset in partially would affect the financial performances in Rokan Hilir Regency. The sample of the stuydy are Cooperatives annual meeting in the year of 2015 That is as much as 119 cooperative. By using a model multiple regression analysis. Conclusions based on the results of studies suggest that external capital, bussiness volume, and Total Asset affect the financial performance (SHU) in Rokan Hilir, while the Number of Member, Internal Capital has no effect on the financial performance (SHU) Cooperative in Rokan Hilir.
