Abstract

This study aims to uncover the history of the subject matter contained in the curriculum social studies textbooks in 2013, the dominant type of media that the material on the history of class VII social studies textbook curriculum 2013 and the suitability of the material history of instructional media are implemented in social studies textbook curriculum 2013. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis of exactly which studies document. The results of this study indicate historical material Class VII social studies curriculum in 2013 that is dispersed in the Subject “Social Life in the Future Praaksara Indonesian Society, Hindu-Buddhist and Isla”, “The Factors that Influence Social and Cultural Diversity” , and “contacts with the state another”. In Class VII social studies book historical material, the dominance of media images are quite striking, reaching 90 % , the rest is history map media. Textbook curriculum developed in 2013, when viewed from a number of emerging media support has been quite a lot of text. This is certainly related to the philosophy of the curriculum in 2013 where learning begins from the concrete toward abstract, so that the role of the media in the learning process and the learning support facilities such as text books is very important to realize. Despite of media analysis in textbooks, media availability is quite good, but the creativity of the teacher in a more varied use of media is necessary. Abstract

This research aims at: (1) exploring classroom management strategies used by English teachers in inclusive elementary school in Banyumas regency, (2) exploring English teachers’ reasons in using the strategies in their inclusive classes, (3) exploring how English teachers accommodate various needs of students with special needs in the classroom. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The primary data was gathered through classroom observation while secondary data was collected through interviews. This research was done in two inclusive elementary schools in Banyumas regency. This study shows that English teachers in the school have good understanding on classroom management. However, the practice in the classroom indicates that there are still rooms for improvement.

Abstract

Museum having the role and function of to use in the life of. Function museum unable to give spirit to develop the idea. Besides its function gather, identify, recording and next exhibiting. These functions explain a museum is not just exhibition dead , but also invited the historian , experts history, the community, teachers and students to have knowledge and get information value relics left by the history. This study was conducted in museum BRI and museum Jenderal Sudirman and including research qualitative. Technique data collection using interviews, observation and study documents. Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research that aims to improve students' learninginterest in science learning biology materials. Indicators of student interest aspectsobserved include diligent follow the learning process, active tasks, attention to followthe learning process and completeness of tools or learning resources. The resultsshowed an increase in the interest aspect. The percentage of increased interest inlearning in the first cycle of 39.5%, on the second cycle of 72.67% and in the thirdcycle of 80.92%. Increased interest in student learning has a positive impact onimproving learning outcomes. Percentage of learning success or class completeness inthe first cycle of 39%, on the second cycle of 82%, and in the third cycle of 93%. Theresult of this research can be concluded that learning CTL (Contextual Teaching andLearning) can improve students' learning interest in science learning biology materialin VIII F SMP Negeri Purwokerto.Keywords: improvement, interest in learning, contextual learning, mastery learning

Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out 1) the apprenticeship procedure in the Bank of Indonesia and 2) the students’ activity during the apprenticeship. The object of the research was the activity during the apprenticeship as done by the students of the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature of General Soedirman University Purwokerto. There were six student as the subject of research. The result showed there were eight stages in the whole activity of apprenticeship. They were assigned to work in the library, Archiving, and Human Resource Unit. Key words: archiving unit, apprenticeship, library unit, human resource unit

Abstract

ABSTRACTSlang is commonly heard in high school or college age children, at least in middle schoolage. But in this article the researchers examined the slang language that exists inelementary school age children. The researcher used the observation method for 2months in class 6 Primary School. He was positioned as a teacher in class 6 PrimarySchool in MI Al-Jam’iyah Karangtejo, Kedu District, Temanggung Regency, as well asordinary days. Class 6 Primary Schools range in Age from 11 to 13 years. This age canrecord 50,000 words. Data is obtained from student conversations everyday, both inlearning activities in class or when students play in the school environment. Thelanguage of everyday conversation is the typical Javanese language Temanggung(Temanggungan language). From the observations made, the researcher gets a numberof words or slang spoken by Class 6 students. Words or languages that appear reallyare the languages commonly pronounced like teenagers in general, and still in asentence with the typical language of Temanggungan. The choice of words andconditions is indeed the meaning meant in the language. If studied and can find out theorigin of the word, it might say a little misunderstanding, such as the use of the word"bro" for all circles both men and women. However, it is different for students of thesame age. Primary school use of the word is commonly used because it does not knowthe origin of the word.Keywords: slang, elementary school age children, children's language development.

Abstract

Multicultural education may be one strategy to introduce the local culture to the learner so that an understanding of cultural diversity to be more thorough and complete. West Kalimantan is an area that is very sensitive to the ethnic conflict, the issue of cultural differences generated by different ethnic interests was used as a tool to exacerbate that conflict often occurs in West Kalimantan. Looking at the situation that the approach by leveraging cultural diversity can inclusivity views of learners and learning with the modernization of systems and contextual environment. So that conflicts can be mitigated through education, of course, the role of teachers and lecturers are also key to the success.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to analyze undergraduate student’s stress level due to onlinelearning of statistics for business course at vocational education during the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). This research was a qualitative descriptive study. Thepopulation in this study was all of the students of the Applied Undergraduate ProgramDepartment of International Business Administration of Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis.The samples were taken by using purposive sampling techniques that only focused onstudents who where taking statistics for business course since enacted online learningdue to the COVID-19 pandemic. The data was collected by using onlinequestionnaires and in -depth interviews with the students to get more detailedinformation. The data analysis technique used in this study was a a qualitativeanalysis consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, andconclusion. The result showed that online learning of statistics for business coursecaused 3% of the student having stress level in extremely severe categories, 13% insevere categories, 8% in moderate categories, 24% in mild categories, and 52% innormal categories. The stress level experienced by student were influenced by thegender, while the age of the students under range of 17 -20 years old did not affectstress levels.Keywords: undergraduate student’s stress level, online learning, vocational education.

motivation in learning history through Cooperative models of type Picture and Picture in class XI SMA N 1 Kelam Permai Sintang District?” This study used action research (action research) conducted through two cycles with each cycle stages are planning, action, observation, and reflection. And forms of research that action research (classroom action research). Subjects in this study were students of class XI IPS 3 Kelam Permai Sintang District academic year 2014/2015, amounting to 27 people and 1 subject teachers of history. Data were obtained through classroom observation and documentation of the results of the actions taken and the data about the image, with this action research will note an increase or decrease after the class actions do persiklus. Research result are (1) Students motivation before using the model type Cooperativ Picture and Picture in class XI sejarahdi learning SMA N 1 Kelam Permai Sintang District the percentage of student motivation 57.0% categorized enough this can be seen from the results of pre-action that researchers do. Student motivation before using the model Cooperative Picture and Picture type varies greatly, since most of the students' motivation is still arguably less, because students are more likely to still passive, busy with their own activities and are less motivated to learn, (2) Application of Cooperative models of type Picture and Picture in pemebalajaran history in class XI IPS 3 SMAN 1 Kelam Permai Sintang District has implemented optimally and effectively. It can be seen from the students' motivation where students are more active, the students were interested and enthusiastic to follow the teaching of history. Because learning Cooperative models of type Picture and Picture is a learning model that uses paired images or sorted into order logis, (3)There is an increase in students' motivation in learning history in class XI SMA N 1 Kelam Permai Sintang. This is evident from the average value of student learning ratamotivasi before using the model Cooperative Picture and Picture mode is 57.0% with less category, and after using the model Cooperative type Picture and Picture in the first cycle was 72.4% in the category quite well and then in the second cycle can be obtained average value of students' motivation is at 85.7% categorized either. Means of pre-action to cycle 1 rose to 15.4% and in the second cycle, up 13.3%. It shows that the motivation of students of class XI IPS 3 SMAN 1 Kelam Permai Sintang District after using the model type Picture and Picture Cooperative has increased, as well as student motivation categorized either. Abstract

AbstractWith effective communication, the managerial functions that originated from thefunctions, implementation and monitoring can be achieved. This study used anexperimental method. Subjects were students of the seventh semester of IndustrialEngineering as many as 25. There is a significant influence effective communication toincrease student learning outcomes. The data was processed with SPSS 22. The resultsshowed, normality test, homogeneity and T Samples Paired with a significant level of α= 5%, the normality test results obtained prior to the effective communicationKolmogorof-Smirnov value Sig. 0190, and Shapiro-Wilk 0215 so that at α = 5% = 0:05<Sig. = 0, the sample data came from a normal distribution. While the test results ofnormality after the effective communication of values obtained Kolmogorof-SmirnovSig. 0134, and Shapiro-Wilk 0346 so that at α = 5% = 0:05 <Sig. = 0, the sample datacame from a normal distribution. At Variance Homogeneity Test Levene Value Sig.0096, at a significance level of α = 5% = 0:05 <Sig.0.096 so that it can be said of datasamples derived from the variances are homogenous, it can be concluded on aconfidence level of 95%, on average after the effective communication to improvestudent results mean for entrepreneurship courses 80.9600) compared to before usingeffective communication (mean of 64.7200), rose by 16:24. In other words, the use ofeffective communication wear a significant effect on improving learning outcomes95%. This study gives suggestions to overcome the problems found in the study.Keywords: effective communication, learning outcomes
