Abstract

Dynamic pricing is an important strategy in the highly competitive e-commerce industry, including on global platforms like Shopee. This strategy enables real-time adjustment of product prices based on changes in market demand, competition, operational costs, and customer preferences. This research aims to explore the implementation of dynamic pricing strategy on Shopee in the context of global e-commerce. The theoretical framework used includes the concepts of pricing and consumer behavior as a basis for analysis. The results show that Shopee utilizes dynamic pricing to enhance competitiveness through strategic promotions such as flash sales, thereby expanding market share and increasing cross-border transaction volume. However, the implementation of this strategy also poses ethical challenges as well as significantly affects consumer behavior. Therefore, the management of dynamic pricing should be done judiciously by considering transparency and customer trust in order to maintain loyalty while optimizing company profits.

Abstract

This research paper provides a comparative analysis of the legal frameworks governing the delisting of issuer shares in Indonesia, the United States, and Singapore. Using a normative legal research approach, supplemented by interviews with members of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and a Member of the House of Representatives Commission XI, the study explores how each jurisdiction addresses the delisting process, particularly focusing on the protection of minority shareholders . The analysis reveals that Indonesia's legal system, influenced by its Civil Law heritage, contrasts with the Common Law approaches of the US and Singapore, especially in terms of shareholder involvement in voluntary delisting and the specificity of conditions for forced delisting. The study suggests enhancements to the Indonesian framework, such as clearer guidelines for shareholder approval in delisting decisions and more transparent criteria for forced delisting. These recommendations aim to improve the protection of minority shareholders within Indonesia's Capital Market.

Abstract

The self-potential (SP) method investigated leachate distribution near Rawa Kucing. Rawa Kucing is the main landfill in Tangerang that burned almost the entire area. A total of 78 SP data points were scattered throughout the study area. The SP values range from -20 to 16 millivolts, dominated by negative values attributed to electrokinetic processes. The results suggest that a highly conductive zone in the study area may have been caused by high contamination from leachate. The possible direction of leachate flow is towards the Cisadane stream, located west of the landfill. On the other hand, a quantitative interpretation of SP was conducted for two profiles, AA’ and BB’. The result shows that the vertical spreading of leachate was found at a depth of h 6,59 and 3,53 meters and H 8,10 and 4,34 meters for AA' and BB', respectively, with an angle of 28,810. Additionally, groundwater samples were collected from four sites near the landfill to assess groundwater quality using physical and chemical analysis. Based on the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation, most parameters indicated low contamination. Statistical analysis revealed that the groundwater near the landfill was worthy of consumption. Based on the results, rainfall during the study significantly reduced the concentrations of contaminants in leachate due to dilution.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the concept of the application of Islamic criminal law in Aceh and to analyze it using the perspective of legal hermeneutics. The research method used is a normative legal research method with statutory approaches (Statute Approach) and case approaches (Case Approach). The study shows that enforcing Islamic criminal law in Aceh is in the context of maintaining the five basic human needs, namely the maintenance of religion, soul, mind, lineage, and property. These five basic needs are necessary for humans. This is determined nothing but to maintain the existence of the five basic human needs, or in other words, the punishments are prescribed solely for the benefit of humans. The current implementation of Islamic law in Aceh is still within the corridor of the trilogy of religious harmony, namely inter-religious harmony, internal religious harmony, and inter-religious harmony with the Government. So if viewed through a hermeneutic lens, Islamic criminal law is basically to achieve harmonious and ideal societal conditions. In implementing Islamic criminal law, the role of all parties is needed, one of which plays an important role is the role of the family. The role is the primary milestone for providing education about Islamic law so as not to become a person who violates Islamic law.
